Abstract

Abstract Early childhood reading skills are focused on recognizing reading materials such as magazines, daily journals, children's activity books, books of picture, animal series books, and other books that can improve children's early reading skills. This is rarely understood by some PAUD teachers in Indonesia, resulting in misunderstandings in learning activities. This research aims to develop children's story book by themes as an effort to stimulate early childhood reading skills. Another goal is to find out the feasibility of using children's story books by themes as an effort to stimulate early childhood reading skills. The methode of research used is research and development which is modified from the model developed by Borg and Gall. The research development procedure is carried out through six stages, (a) Collect of information (b) compiling product designs (c) product validation developed (d) product design improvements (e) limited product trials and (6) product results of children's story books. This research resulted in 3 children's story books entitled “Ikan Koi Si Penolong”, “Aku membantu Ayah”, and “Belanja bersama Ibu". Three of books resulting from this development research have gone through the stages of expert validation tests by material experts with a percentage of 92.8%. Meanwhile, the media expert indicator obtained a percentage of 93.7%, which means this book is valid and can be tested on children. Then a trial was conducted by two users, namely the Al-Huda PAUD teacher in Kabupaten Tasikmalaya. The test results obtained the percentage of values of 96.8% and 93.7%, which means that books by themes are appropriate and can be used by teachers to stimulate early childhood reading skills.Keywords: Story books, Early reading, Early childhood

Abstract

Mathematics is important for human life, including for early childhood development. Introducing mathematical concepts from an early age provides many opportunities for success in human development. However, introducing mathematics is not just a child who can count and recognize various geometric shapes and follow certain patterns. The purpose of this study is to explore the ability of mathematical thinking patterns in children aged 4–6 years in cognitive development in stimulating high-level cognitive development. The method used in this research is descriptive quantitative and qualitative approaches. and the results showed that children are less stimulated to think to a higher level that can stimulate children to think rationally and solve their own problems. Mathematics learning is still in a formal setting and is predominantly using children's worksheets, so that children's interest is reduced. The results of this study recommend that learning mathematics involves more early childhood and raises interest and provides stimulation so that children can develop cognitive thinking in mathematics through reasoning and problem solving.

Abstract

 At this time the child's ability in logical mathematics still needs to be developed in various ways, one of which is by playing. In the process of playing, it cannot be separated from the media, to develop mathematical logic intelligence, media related to numbers and geometric shape patterns are needed, such as playing Geobox media. This article aims to determine the increase in children's mathematical logic intelligence using GeoBox playing media. The type of research used is PTK (Classroom Action Research) in which the research subjects are 10 children who are in TPA Qurratu'Ain in Harusan, South Kalimantan, the results of this study indicate that the GeoBox playing media is able to make children's mathematical logic intelligence increase pre-cycle, which was initially 10, 0 then becomes 12.5 in cycle I and cycle II as much as 15.5%. The intelligence possessed by children can be developed in an appropriate and appropriate way for the child, therefore the selection of tools for children's play must be carefully selected so that this development can be optimal.

Abstract

Salah satu aspek perkembangan yang perlu diperhatikan pada anak usia dini adalah perkembangan bahasa, salah satunya terkait dengan kemampuan membaca permulaan anak. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengembangkan permainan uar tangga dengan pohon misteri menggunakan bahan bekas untuk aktivitas membaca permulaan anak kelompok B di Raudhatul Athfal (RA). Pengembangan media tersebut juga merupakan inovasi bagi sekolah dalam membantu anak belajar membaca.Penelitian ini menggunakan rancangan penelitian dan pengembangan yang dilaksanakan melalui prosedur: 1. Melakukan penelitian dan pengumpulan informasi, 2) Melakukan perencanaan, selanjutnya dievaluaasi oleh para ahli, 3) Mengembangkan bentuk produk awal, 4) Melakukan uji coba kelompok kecil dengan 6 subjek, 5) Melakukan revisi terhadap produk awal, 6) Melakukan uji lapangan utama dengan 20 subjek, 7) Melakukan revisi produk Instrumet yang digunakan berupa kuesionuk yang berisi tentang rancangan produk dan produk yang telah dibuat. Teknik analisis data yang digunakan adalah analisis kualitatif dan dan kuantitatif berupa prosentase dan masukan ahli yang ditujukan kepada tiga ahli diantaranya ahli pembelajaran anak usia dini, ahli desain dan praktisi anak usia dini.Hasil pengembangan pada analisis data kuantitatif uji lapangan kelompok besar, diperoleh persentase yaitu: (1) 95% anak mudah melakukan permainan; (2) 100% anak senang melakukan permainan ular tangga dengan pohon misteri; dan (3) 100% anak aman saat melakukan permainan ular tangga dengan pohon misteri. Berdasarkan hasil pengembangan permainan ular tangga dengan pohon misteri, maka disimpulkan bahwa media ini menarik, mudah dan menyenangkan serta tidak berbahaya untuk dilakukan anak. Disarankan hasil pengembangan produk yang ditujukan untuk anak di RA Shihabuddin Malang dapat disajikan pada semua anak kelompok B di sekolah lain dan lembaga pendidikan yang terkait sehingga dapat digunakan sebagaimana mestinya sesuai materi perkembangan bahasa pada anak.

Abstract

Learning activities during the covid-19 pandemic cannot be seen directly, so teachers are difficult to see the achievements of learning indicators. The purpose of this study is to find out the implementation of learning assessments and obstacles faced by teachers when conducting learning assessments for B1 group students during the covid-19 pandemic at TK Islam Darussalam Palangka Raya. Describing the implementation of learning assessments and obstacles faced by teachers when conducting learning assessments for B1 group students during the covid-19 pandemic at TK Islam Darussalam Palangka Raya. This study uses descriptive qualitative research method, data subjects numbered 3 people (2 teachers of group B1 and Kelapa TK Islam Darussalam). Data collection techniques using observations, interviews and documentation. The results showed that: 1) Assessment of check-up techniques and works carried out on worksheets and anecdotal record assessments were conducted through face-to-face, online and home visits. Assessment of calistung and ummi using monitoring books. The assessment process can be done well, but it cannot be carried out to the maximum.2) The lack of ability of teachers to use digital technology, online learning is sometimes constrained by network connections, worksheet learning carried out at home causes teachers to be unable to see the process of implementation and achievement of learning indicators and the duration of the learning system face-to-face, online and home visits are relatively short causing information on children's learning activities cannot be obtained to the maximum.

Abstract

AbstractThis study aimed to analyze the influence of parents' interactions on emotional intelligence in early childhood. The subjects of this study amounted to 55 people who were selected by purposive sampling technique, with the characteristics of having early childhood aged 4-5 years. Subjects are parents who live on Pasaran Island, Bandar Lampung. The data collection technique used a questionnaire, consisting of a parent interaction questionnaire and an emotional intelligence questionnaire for early childhood. The data analysis technique used regression analysis. The results showed that there was a effect of parental interaction on early childhood emotional intelligence (β= 0.432, p= 0.00 (p<0.01), and effective contribution = 36.6%).  Keywords: early childhood, emotional intelligence, parental interaction. AbstrakPenelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh interaksi orang tua terhadap kecerdasan emosi anak usia dini. Subjek penelitian ini berjumlah 55 orang yang dipilih dengan teknik purposive sampling, dengan karakteristik memiliki anak usia dini berusia 4-5 tahun. Subjek adalah orang tua yang tinggal di Pulau Pasaran Bandar Lampung. Teknik pengambilan data menggunakan kuesioner, terdiri dari kuesioner interaksi orang tua dan kuesioner kecerdasan emosi anak usia dini. Teknik analisis data menggunakan analisis regresi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan ada pengaruh interaksi orang tua terhadap kecerdasan emosi anak usia dini (β= 0.432, p= 0,00 (p<0,01), dan sumbangan efektif = 36,6%).  Kata Kunci:  anak usia dini, kecerdasan emosi, interaksi orang tua.

Abstract

In the process of nurturing and educating children, not all parents appreciate the talents possessed by their children. Parents only educate children in general terms, such as educating children to have good behavior, educating children to study hard without paying attention to children's interests and talents so that children's talents cannot develop optimally due to lack of support from parents. The purpose of this research is to determine the role of parents in developing early childhood talents with parenting styles that are applied by parents at home. The research method used is descriptive qualitative by taking data from a questionnaire distributed to respondents, namely parents and guardians of children who live in Cirebon and Majalengka. The results of this study are that 91.3% of parents and guardians of children have implemented democratic parenting in their care and as many as 8.7% of parents and guardians of students still apply permissive parenting. In this case, parents also play an important role in developing children's talents, namely as motivators and facilitators.

Abstract

ABSTRACT This research is motivated by the discovery of children's cognitive abilities that have not developed optimally, this is due to learning activities in classical settings, the lack of fun learning techniques, the ability to use learning media, playing activities while learning is very lacking so that children become bored, lack focus in following learning. The purpose of this study was to improve early childhood cognitive abilities through traditional game media in group B TK AL-Aqsho, Lamomea Village, Konda District, South Konawe Regency. This type of research is classroom action research. The results showed that the acquisition of children's completeness skills increased at each stage where the acquisition of children's pre-action completeness was 31.58%, increased in cycle 1 by 63.16% and in cycle 2 increased by 78.94% with minimum completeness criteria. (KKM) which is determined from the school, namely 75%. So it can be concluded that the implementation of learning activities through the traditional crank game can improve the cognitive abilities of children in group B in Al-Aqsho Kindergarten, Lamomea Village, Konda District, South Konawe Regency. Therefore, based on this research, it is hoped that the traditional crank game can be used as a reference for early childhood teachers to apply it or researchers to become a reference in developing the results of this study further.Keywords:   Cognitive abilities; early childhood; traditional game of crank.ABSTRAK Penelitian ini dilatarbelakangi oleh ditemukannya kemampuan kognitif anak yang belum berkembang secara optimal, hal ini disebabkan aktivitas pembelajaran dalam setting klasikal, teknik pembelajaran yang kurang menyenangkan, kemampuan menggunakan media pembelajaran, aktivitas bermain sambil belajar sangat kurang sehingga anak menjadi bosan, kurang fokus dalam mengikuti pembelajaran. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk meningkatkan kemampuan kognitif anak usia dini melalui media permainan tradisional pada kelompok B TK AL-Aqsho Desa Lamomea Kecamatan Konda Kabupaten Konawe Selatan. Jenis penelitian ini adalah penelitian tindakan kelas. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa perolehan ketuntasan ketuntasan anak meningkat pada setiap tahapan dimana perolehan ketuntasan pra tindakan anak sebesar 31,58%, meningkat pada siklus 1 sebesar 63,16% dan pada siklus 2 meningkat sebesar 78,94% dengan kriteria ketuntasan minimal. (KKM) yang ditentukan dari sekolah yaitu 75%. Sehingga dapat disimpulkan bahwa pelaksanaan kegiatan pembelajaran melalui permainan tradisional engkol dapat meningkatkan kemampuan kognitif anak kelompok B di Taman Kanak-kanak Al-Aqsho, Desa Lamomea, Kecamatan Konda, Kabupaten Konawe Selatan. Oleh karena itu, berdasarkan hasil penelitian ini diharapkan permainan engkol tradisional dapat dijadikan acuan bagi guru PAUD untuk mengaplikasikannya atau peneliti untuk menjadi acuan dalam mengembangkan hasil penelitian ini lebih lanjut.Kata Kunci:   Kemampuan kognitif; anak usia dini; permainan tradisional engklek.

Abstract

Early reading skills are one of the most important language developments to be developed in early childhood. This can be done through appropriate stimulation of learning, one of which is the accuracy in using learning media. The purpose of this study is to analyze whether there is an effect of the application of Kaneta media (Smart Flannel Bags) on children's early reading ability. This study used a pre-experimental quantitative method type one-group pretest-posttest design. The population of this research is the children of group A TK Dharma Wanita Persatuan Kedungboto, Porong District with saturated sampling technique with a total of 20 students. The data collection technique in this study used the results of the preliminary reading ability test. The data analysis technique used the dependent t test with the research results t count = 10.87 and t table = 2.093 so that tcount > t table, which means H1 is accepted and H0 is rejected. The results showed that the application of Kaneta media had an effect on children's pre-reading abilities, so teaching early reading in early childhood could be done using Kaneta media.

Abstract

Manusia, pendidikan dan pembelajaran, tiga hal yang tak bisa diputuskan. Dimana manusia diddik dan harus belajar agar dapar memanusiakan manusia, kemudian pendidikan dan pembelajaran adalah proses yang akan memanusiakan manusia. Sudah seharusnya pendidikan menjadikan manusia seutuhnya yang dapat menghargai dan menghormati manusia pula, seperti halnya konsep pendidikan humanism yang diterapkan di sekolah waldrof . Konsep pembelajaran dalam pendidikan humanistic Waldrof  mengajarkan anak untuk dapat menghargai, menghormati dan memberi pengalaman nyata bagi anak. Melalui penelitian ini peneliti mencoba menganalisis dan mengkaji secara dalam terkait konsep pembelajaran humanis yang dilakukan oleh Taman kanak-kanak Waldrof dan aktualisainya di lembaga PAUD. Peneliti melakukan penelitian di PAUD Wadas Kelir, dan jenis penelitian ini adalah field research atau penelitian lapangan menggunakan metode kualitatif. Dalam pengumpulan datanya peneliti menggunakan teknik observasi, wawancara dan dokumentasi. Hasil dari penelitian ini menunjukan bahwa  aktualisasi pembelajaran humanistik Waldrof yang dilakukan oleh guru di PAUD Wadas Kelir yakni terdapat enam model pembelajaran humanistic yakni, pembelajaran bersifat demokratis, pembelajaran berbasis kecakapan hidup, pembelajaran berbasis problem solving, pembelajaran melalui pembiasaan, keterlibatan anak dalam pembelajaran, belajar sambil melakukan atau learning by doing, ruang kelas yang terbuka,da tidak adanya kompetisi. Dampak dari kegiatan pembelajaran humanistik yang diterapkan di PAUD Wadas Kelir yakni terbentuknya pridadi yang dapat menghargai diri sendiri, orang lain, lingkungan, mandiri, saling tolong menolong, dan saling menghormati.
