Abstract

The purpose of this research is to explain the process and result of applying The 7 Habits method that can optimization personal awareness in group B TK Negeri Pembina Surabaya. This study uses the Kemmis and Mc Taggart procedures which consists of four stages: planning, action, observation, and reflection. The data analysis technique consisted of quantitative and qualitative data analysis. Quantitative data analysis is presented in the form of tables and graphs. While qualitative data analysis using technique according to Miles and Huberman which consists of data reduction, data display, and verification collected through personal awareness instruments, interviews, field notes, and documentation. After the first cycle of action, the average value of 68,47%. Then after second cycle of action, the average value increase to 84,17%. It can be concluded that by using the 7 Habits method can improve personal awareness in children.

Abstract

The purpose of this research is to see the influence of the level of breastfeeding in the cognitive orientation of children4 – 6 years old in Malang. This study uses analytical research methods using a descriptive cross sectional approach or in other words the study uses the type of correlational research. The sampling techniques on this study were taken with random sampling cluster techniques. While sample data sources are selected purposive and snowball sampling. Data collection instruments to assess the rate of feeding is the feeding questionnaire and the biodata of parents and children. To assess the level of intelligence conducted IQ test with WPPSI test instrument (Wechsler Preschool and Primary Scale of Intelligence) conducted by a psychologist. Data analysis on this research is quantitative and qualitative data. Quantitative data analysis was conducted to see the level of cognitive feeding for children aged 4 – 6 years. It will be described through descriptive statistics presented in the form of tables and graphs. From the study of the rate of breast feeding in the orientation of Islamic children 4 – 6 years old in Malang, only 54% of the proportion of mothers give exclusive breast milk to more than 4 months. Infants with an exclusive rate of breastfeeding of no more than 4 months have a risk of 7.325 times greater to develop a distorted development compared to a child who is given more than 4 months of breastfeeding. Children with long lactation ≥ 6 months have higher cognitive function than children with long lactation < 6 months. Based on the objectives and results of synthesis analysis can be obtained several conclusions that there is relevance between the perspective of the Qur'an about the delivery of breast milk with the results of research.

Abstract: The purpose of this study is to explain the process and out come of the reward system that can improve self-regulation in group BPKK kindergarten Lidah Kulon II Surabaya in 2014.This study uses the Kemmis and Mc Taggart procedures which consists of four phases: planning, action, observation and reflection. The data analysis techniqueconsistedofqualitative anddescriptive statistics are presented in tables and graphs. Qualitative data analysis using the techniques according to Miles and Huberman which consists of data reduction, data display, and verification collected through self-regulation instruments, interviews, field notes, and documentation. After the first cycle of action, the average value of 68,47%. Then after second cycle of action, the average value increase to 84,17%. Abstract

Learning media development pop-up-based science is a means to help children understand and improve the cognitive ability of children in science. The purpose of this research is: (1) to develop learning science through the media pop-up, (2) to know the application of learning science through the media pop-up, (3) to find out about learning student understanding of science after using the media pop-up. This research uses the methods of research and development (R D ). This study refers to the development of the model of the Dick and Carey. Procedures for developing instructional media pop-up-based science uses several steps, as follows: needs analysis, product design, design and conduct formative evaluation (testing for individuals, the Council groups small, field trial), revision. The results of the validation of the content reaches the level of the validity of the 82%, design validation media reaches 91% and the validity of the classroom teacher reached 90%. This suggests that the learning media worthy and this can be used in the learning process. The cognitive ability of children who use the media pop-up learning increasing, it can be seen from the average percentage value before tests from 61.1 be 88.3. So, by using the pop-up media children understand more about the learning of science

Abstract

Life skills of early childhood consist of personal skills and social skills. In life skills-based education in early childhood is of course related to aspects of child development, namely physical, cognitive, language, social emotional, and spiritual. This research method uses normative research, with the approach used in life skills-based education is a contextual approach. While the methods used are interactive methods, role playing, open discussion and small group activities can also use modeling, observation, situation analysis, one to one rehearsal, debates, and games as a method of theaching life skills. This life skills-based early childhood education program consists of daily living skills and personal or social skills with practical life, sensory, mathematics, language art, and cultural activities that are useful for children’s personal development.

Abstract

Salah satu aspek perkembangan yang perlu diperhatikan pada anak usia dini adalah perkembangan bahasa, salah satunya terkait dengan kemampuan membaca permulaan anak. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengembangkan permainan uar tangga dengan pohon misteri menggunakan bahan bekas untuk aktivitas membaca permulaan anak kelompok B di Raudhatul Athfal (RA). Pengembangan media tersebut juga merupakan inovasi bagi sekolah dalam membantu anak belajar membaca.Penelitian ini menggunakan rancangan penelitian dan pengembangan yang dilaksanakan melalui prosedur: 1. Melakukan penelitian dan pengumpulan informasi, 2) Melakukan perencanaan, selanjutnya dievaluaasi oleh para ahli, 3) Mengembangkan bentuk produk awal, 4) Melakukan uji coba kelompok kecil dengan 6 subjek, 5) Melakukan revisi terhadap produk awal, 6) Melakukan uji lapangan utama dengan 20 subjek, 7) Melakukan revisi produk Instrumet yang digunakan berupa kuesionuk yang berisi tentang rancangan produk dan produk yang telah dibuat. Teknik analisis data yang digunakan adalah analisis kualitatif dan dan kuantitatif berupa prosentase dan masukan ahli yang ditujukan kepada tiga ahli diantaranya ahli pembelajaran anak usia dini, ahli desain dan praktisi anak usia dini.Hasil pengembangan pada analisis data kuantitatif uji lapangan kelompok besar, diperoleh persentase yaitu: (1) 95% anak mudah melakukan permainan; (2) 100% anak senang melakukan permainan ular tangga dengan pohon misteri; dan (3) 100% anak aman saat melakukan permainan ular tangga dengan pohon misteri. Berdasarkan hasil pengembangan permainan ular tangga dengan pohon misteri, maka disimpulkan bahwa media ini menarik, mudah dan menyenangkan serta tidak berbahaya untuk dilakukan anak. Disarankan hasil pengembangan produk yang ditujukan untuk anak di RA Shihabuddin Malang dapat disajikan pada semua anak kelompok B di sekolah lain dan lembaga pendidikan yang terkait sehingga dapat digunakan sebagaimana mestinya sesuai materi perkembangan bahasa pada anak.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk: 1) mengembangkan alat permainan edukatif (APE) bagi anak usia 1-2 tahun berupa media sensory carpet; 2) menerapkan media sensory carpet yang menunjang pemahaman panca indera anak. Penelitian pengembangan (Research and Development) ini mengacu pada model pengembangan Borg and Gall. Langkah yang dilakukan peneliti meliputi pengumpulan informasi awal, perencanaan, pengembangan produk awal, uji coba validasi ahli, revisi hasil uji coba validasi ahli, uji coba lapangan awal, revisi hasil uji coba lapangan awal, uji coba lapangan dan penyempurnaan produk akhir. Hasil penilaian ahli materi diperoleh rata-rata skor 4,08 dan penilaian ahli media memperoleh rata-rata skor 4,62. Setelah melakukan uji coba lapangan, peneliti memperoleh presentase skor sebesar 91,66%.  Sehingga dapat disimpulkan bahwa media sensory carpet untuk pemahaman panca indera anak usia 1-2 tahun ini dinyatakan layak digunakan.

Abstract

Pedoman moderasi beragama yang ada saat ini belum menyinggung ranah pendidikan anak usia dini. Sehingga penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menghasilkan desain dan pengembangan produk berupa buku panduan parenting positif berbasis moderasi beragama yang ditujukan bagi orang tua dan guru di Kelurahan Tunjungsekar. Buku panduan ini digunakan dalam mengobservasi nilai-nilai moderasi beragama yang dapat diimplementasikan pada kehidupan sehari-hari sehinga diharapkan dapat mengembangkan sikap moderasi beragama pada anak melalui pengasuhan yang positif. Model yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah penelitian pengembangan dengan menggunakan model pengembangan dari Bork Gall. Teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan kuisioner atau angket yang dinilai oleh beberapa validator yaitu ahli materi, ahli media, serta respon dari orang tua dan guru sebagai pengguna. Berdasarkan penilaian dari uji ahli media dan ahli materi, diperoleh nilai sebesar 85,3% dengan kategori sangat layak; sedangkan penilaian dari calon pengguna atau responden yang dalam hal ini adalah orang tua dan guru mendapatkan nilai sebesar 84,8%. Jika dibandingkan dengan kriteria kelayakan, itu artinya produk sangat layak tidak perlu direvisi. Data yang sudah terkumpul selanjutnya dianalisis dengan deskriptif kualitatif. Sehingga dapat disimpulkan bahwa buku panduan parenting positif berbasis moderasi beragama bagi anak usia dini layak digunakan dan dapat digunakan dalam kehidupan sehari-hari.
