Abstract

The purpose of this research was to observe the student’s collaboration of food technology department in 2019 through basic physics practicum. The research method used classroom action research which was divided into four parts, that is planning, action, observation, and reflection. This research was done into four groups and accompanied by each observer. They had to take responsibility to observe the collaboration skill of each student in the group. The results of this research showed that the collaboration skill increased in every part. Group one of the first part showed a result of 45% with moderate success criteria, it increased in the second part to 51.11% (moderate), it increased in the third part to 76.67% (high), and it increased in the fourth part to 92.78% with very high success criteria. So it happened in group two, group three, and group four. Group two of the first part showed a result of 42.22% (moderate), in the second part to 51.117% (moderate), in the third part to 71.67% (high) and in the fourth part to 90% (very high). Group three of the first part showed a result of 46% (moderate), in the second part to 52.67 (moderate), in the third part to 79.33% (high), and in the fourth part to 92.67% (very high). Group four of the first part showed a result of 39.33% (low), in the second part to 56% (moderate), in the third part to 82.67% (very high), in the fourth to 92% (very high).

Abstract

Wood ear mushrooms is commonly known as one of the cultivated edible mushrooms in Indonesia. The demand for this commodity is still steadily high and leads mushroom farmers to optimize its cultivation. For mushroom farmers in Yogyakarta, the prevalence of krepes disease which is caused by a group of species belongs to Acarina order is still high and leads to total loss of harvest. In order to diminish these Acarina species, the use of chemical acaricides is common because of their effectiveness in eradicating the pests despite their toxic effect to the environment. A strategy to provide environmental friendly acaricides which are extracted from plants is therefore important. This research aimed to study the potency of neem leaves (Azadirachta indica) and clove flowers (Eugenia caryophyllata) extracts as bioacarisides for Acarina species as the causal agent of krepes disease. Neem leaves and cloves flowers were extracted using maceration and soxhlet extraction methods, using 96% methanol as their solvents. Obtained crude extracts would then be subjected to phytochemical analysis using qualitative biochemical tests and GC-MS. The effectivity of extracts as bioacaricides were tested both in in vitro and field scale. In vitro tests showed that neem leaves extract and clove flower extract had LC50 value ​​of 0.22% and 0.48% respectively. Field scale test on mushroom baglogs showed that the efficacy of the neem leaves and clove flower to eradicate acarina were above 50%. Taken together, neem leaves and clove flower extracts are potential to be used as bioacaricides in mushroom farming.

Abstract

The family Rhinocerotidae is distinct and well defined, but systematic relationships among the four genera evaluated on the basis of geographical distribution of the different genera. The purpose of the research is to find out the genetic distance of rhinos in the world. Samples of Sumatran rhinoceros (Indonesia) are from SRS (Sumatran Rhino Sanctuary) Way Kambas National Park, while for Indian rhinoceros and white African rhinos. Amplification of cytochrome oxidase 1 (CO1) genes in mitochondrial DNA ( mtDNA) uses a specific primer for COI. The two primary pairs are Primer to amplify the partial CO1 sequence (RHCO1F & RHCO1R). CO1 amplification process PCR conditions used are: predenaturation at 940C, followed by the main cycle denaturation stage at 940C for 45 seconds, primary annealing stage (annealing) at 580C. analyzed provides genetic distance ranging from (0.016) to (0.147) for each species. Analysis of 711 bp of rhino DNA sequences can be shown in the form of a matrix of genetic differences. The genetic distance of the white African rhinoceros (Ceratorium simum) with the Sumatran torgamba rhinoceros is (0.142), while with the Indian rhinoceros (0.147) and the genetic distance between the Sumatran rhinos themselves there is a difference that the Sumatran rhino Bina differs by (0.136-0.147) with the other three individuals, while Torgamba has a genetic distance with Rosa of (0.014) but with a very close genetic distance (0.007), and Andalas (0.017), while the genetic distance is close to Bina (0.014) with Rosa (0.014).

Abstract

This research aims to optimize revenue on food sales at Dinda's restaurant and the use of available raw materials to generate optimal profits, so to determine the right combination to maximize profits, Linear Proggaming with the simplex method can be used. The results obtained by using the simplex method, namely the restaurant grinding Dinda should produce 17 portions of Chicken rice (X1), 44 portions of Fish rice (X2), 10 portions of Soto rice (X3). From the number of portions of food produced by Dinda's restaurant, she gets a daily profit of Rp. 1,250,000.

Abstract

This study was to desribe the obstacles of Mathematics and Natural Sciences teachers at Christian Senior High School Rantepao in online learning during the Covid-19 pandemic. The study was a qualitative approach with descriptive analysis. Subjects in this study were 17 Mathematics and Natural Sciences teachers at Christian High School Rantepao. Data collection techniques using a questionnaire. The data were analized by descriptive percentage. The results of this study showed that Mathematics and Natural Sciences teachers at Christian Senior High School Rantepao experienced obstacles in online learning in the Covid-19 pandemic. Abstract

Indonesia has entered Revolution 4.0 where technology has become the basis of human life. Slowly but sure, Indonesia is entering the Society 5.0 Era characterized by (1) freedom; (2) customization; (3) scrutiny; (4) integrity; (5) entertainment; (6) speed; and (7) innovation. Society 5.0 offers a human-centered society that makes a balance between economic progress and solving social problems through a highly connected system between the virtual and real world. According to the Japanese prime minister, Shinzo Abe, explained in the World Economic Forum (WEF) that the Society 5.0 is no longer about capital, but data that connects and mobilizes all fields such as education and health that must fill the gap in society. At this time, we will propose the role of education in the Era of Society 5.0, especially related to chemistry learning that facilitates the need for self-esteem. Human needs are the same, such as basic needs, described as the hierarchy of needs by Maslow's Theory. The need for self-esteem is one of the needs of human psychology that must be fulfilled, especially for students to face the challenges of the Era of Society 5.0 to enrich chemistry learning as a need for a more meaningful life. The participants are 34 Grade X students from Natural Science Class 2 of Public High School (SMA NEGERI) 18 Jakarta. The data are pretest by Likert Scale Questionnaire, and posttest by a simple chemistry learning module with topic acid-base equilibrium. Keywords: Society 5.0; need for self-esteem; chemistry.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the feasibility of developing an mathematics story book. The method used in this study is "Research and Development". Meanwhile, the data collection technique in this study was a validator questionnaire from the experts, then quantitative and qualitative data were analyzed descriptively.Based on the results of research and development that has been done, it shows that: mathematics story books get a very decent percentage value. This percentage is obtained from the results of the validation of each expert i.e. Material experts with a percentage of 80.92%, experts in presenting material with a percentage of 79.16%, media experts giving a score of 93.75%, and linguists giving a score of 81.25%. So it can be concluded that the average value of the percentage of experts is in the very feasible category with a percentage value of 83.77%. Based on the explanation above, it can be concluded that the electronic mathematics storybook is very suitable to be used as a learning tool in class VII SMP in comparison material. Abstract

This study aims to produce mathematics learning media products in the material of flat side space. The media is designed with the Articulate Storyline application with a visualization of understanding the concept of flat-sided building materials as a tool in explaining the concept of flat-sided building materials and improving student learning outcomes in class VIII of flat-side building material. The method used in this research is the Research and Development (R&D) method. This research method consists of several phases, namely: analysis of the potential and problems that exist in the research site, the second phase of literature studies and collection of information related to problem handling and based on existing potential, the third phase of designing the product, the fourth phase of designing the product, the fifth phase of expert validation, and getting tested product designs. Design validation is carried out by experts consisting of media experts, material experts, and teachers. Research data in the form of expert validation results obtained at 4.48 with the interpretation into the very valid category. In this way, the learning media is ready to be applied to the trial process and large classes in further research and development methods. Abstract

The Solid concrete bricks made from a mixture of with sago leaf stalks fiber were 390 mm long, 90 mm wide, and 100 mm thick with three combinations of cement: aggregate ratios, namely 1: 5,1: 6, and 1: 7. These were further divided into 4 compositions of the aggregate mixture (sand: fiber), 100%: 0%, 75%: 25%, 50%: 50%, and 25%: 75%. The observation stage showed that the brick made from an external viewpoint was very feasible, like, the surface is not defective / hollow and was not easily damaged if touched. The treatment of the brick was carried out for 28 days after being made, then tested and the average mass was obtained at least in the combination ratio of cement: aggregate 1: 5 with an agerat composition of 25% sand: 75% fiber, namely 4.46 Kg. For the compressive strength test results, all the test samples made meet SNI 03-0349-1989 in the quality range I and quality II. The compressive strength value was in the combination of the ratio of cement: aggregate 1: 7 with a composition of 25% sand: 75% fiber, namely 70 Kg / Cm2 which is classified as quality II, while the largest is in the combination of cement: aggregate ratio 1: 5 with a composition of 100% sand which is 167 Kg / Cm2. From the test results, it can prove that the concrete blocks made from a mixture of sago leaf stalks fiber in terms of compressive strength pass the SNI quality test..

Abstract

In the process of learning in SMA Budhi Warman 1 Jakarta teachers still tend to use conventional learning centered on the teacher with a sequence of lectures, and question and answer and cause students less active and less creative and cause the still low student learning outcomes. This study aims to determine the effect of learning cooperative learning model with the mind-map media on physics learning outcomes of high school students of Class XI IPA on optical materials. This research was conducted at SMA Budhi Warman 1 Jakarta. The research method used is quasi experimental method with research design is Two Group Pretest-Posttest Design. Class sampling was done randomly (cluster random sampling) research sample amounted to 68 students consisting of 34 students experimental class and 34 students of control class. The research instrument used in this research is the test of learning result. The test of learning outcomes is an objective test of multiple choice questions. Data analysis in research using test-t test obtained that the significance value of 0.00 is smaller than the significance level α = 0.05 (0.00 <0.05). and and from these results the alternative hypothesis (Ha) is accepted. So it can be concluded that there is a significant effect of application of cooperative learning model with mind map and able to improve the learning result of physics.
