Abstract

Penelitian ini merupakan gabungan dari penelitian sebelumnya mengenai hubungan antara harga saham dengan kinerja ekonomi makro, dan penelitian mengenai integrasi Pasar Modal internasional.Variabel ekonomi makro dalam penelitian ini dibatasi pada pertumbuhan PDB, tingkat suku bunga SBI dan nilai Kurs dolar Amerika terhadap Rupiah dan Indeks saham digunakan adalah Indeks Dow Jones, Indeks Saham Australia, Indeks Shanghai dan Indeks Singapura. Data dikumpulkan dari tahun 2011 sampai tahun 2015 secara bulanan dengan teknik analisis regresi linier dengan bantuan Statistical Package For Social Science (SPSS)

Abstract

Women entrepreneurs, an important factor supporting the economy and the research, present a variety of success factors that interesting to observe. This study aims to explore these three success factors of entrepreneurship including; bank credit, training, motivational, and inspirational success through the survey stage. This analysis shows that the three success factors effect on the amount of assets, production levels, productivity, and total profit, despite the success factor has no effect on increasing the number of workers. Limitation of this study is the homogeneity of the respondents, then this probably to become a reference for the further research as well as a research gap.

Abstract

Organizational commitment is an important construct in management, especially in organizational behaviour subject. This is caused organizations face many challenges such as restructuring, downsizing, re-engineering, and economic global competition, so that organizations need commitment of their member. The purpose of this research is to analyze the effect of health and safety management implementation on job satisfaction and organizational commitment.This research used sanitation officer of Dinas Kebersihan dan Pertamanan Kota Denpasar as research respondent. Data collection method used interview and quitionare and for data analysis will be used path analysis. The results showed that the implementation of health and safety management has a significant positive effect on job satisfaction and organizational commitment, and job satisfaction also has a significant positive effect on organizational commitment, and job satisfaction serve as a variable that mediates the effect of health and saftey management implementation on organizational commitment.

Abstract

Research aims to study the characteristics of sago local food agro-industries, analyze the factors that influence entrepreneurs’ characters, and analyze the effects of entrepreneurs’ characters on the management, institutional system, and the performance of agro-industries. The research focus is on local food agroindustrial of sago. While the subject of research is entrepreneurs the processing of food products of local as key businessman in the development of business. The total population of the local sago food product entrepreneurs is 240 people. Sampling using Slovin formula (n = N / (1 + N e²) = 240 / (1 + 240 x 0,05²) = 150). Data analysis is done qualitatively and quantitatively. Qualitative analysis to describe entrepreneur character, while quantitative analysis to analyze factors influencing entrepreneurial character and influence of entrepreneur character to management, institute and performance of local food agroindustry sago. The research result shows that the characteristics of the entrepreneurs include: possessing high motivation to satisfy life necessaries; future-oriented; having good leadership skills; having a wide business network; facing the changes responsively and creatively. The index value of the five characteristics varies, ranging from 60-75 percent. The entrepreneurs’ characteristics on average category include good leadership skills, facing the changes responsively and creatively. These two characteristics still need to be improved by the businessmen in order to create better characters. Meanwhile, the highly-categorized characteristics are retained or even further improved. The SEM analysis result shows that economical and physical factors affect the entrepreneurs’ characters, whereas social factor does not give any effect. Besides, the result as well indicates that the entrepreneurs’ characters significantly influence the management, the institutional, and the performance of agro-industries. This is important to build entrepreneurial spirit in order to develop sago local food industries.

Abstract

Hotel tax is one of a local tax that has great potential to be increased as one source of local government revenue (PAD). Revenue from hotel tax in the City of Sukabumi is smaller when compared with other local taxes, so it needs strategies to increase its income revenue. This research included descriptive research type with using primary and secondary data. Analysis method used were growth and contribution ratio, effectiveness and efficiency ratio, and analytical hierarchy process. The purpose of this research were to determine the growth rate and the contribution of hotel tax to local revenue, to measure the effectiveness and efficiency of hotel tax and to determine the strategies in the implementation of revenue hotel tax. The result of this research presented on average the growth of hotel tax revenue was 13.18 %. Its contribution to local taxes averaged of 3.91 %, and contribution to local government revenue averaged of 0.47 % with category is very less, the average of effectiveness rate 107.93 % so the category was very effective and the efficiency level 5.67 % so the category highly efficient. To increase the hotel tax revenues required strategies by improving the system of management and supervision, socialization and low enforcement, tourism promotion, facilities infrastructure, and quality of human resources.

Abstract

A fundamental shift has happened in the economics and business world. Countries within the same region integrates one another consolidating their politics and economies creating a trading bloc as means for accelerating economic growth. This situation creates new market opportunities and access for low cost workers for producers, consequently generating multiple country of origin information in a single product. For consumers, in terms of evaluating a product, currently are experiencing a new shift, cognitively consumers separate the cue signaled from both country of design and country of manufacture. In this study, first is analysed the impact of strong image related concept that presents with fashion products toward purchase intention, from the test, result is concluded that perceived quality, brand awareness, and fashion involvement had positive correlation toward purchase intention. Second is analysed the role of both country of origin and consumer ethnocentrism that serve as the weak country image concept in moderating function, the outcome form the test concluded that country of origin and consumer ethnocentrism cannot influence the relationship of brand awareness, perceived quality, and fashion involvement toward purchase intention. In addition, based on the findings of this study, further discussed how the interaction between country’s image and brand image affecting purchase intention.

Abstract

The objective of this research is to formulate strategies to optimize the level of budget disbursement of the State Treasury Office of Jakarta II. The analysis on budget disbursement pattern was conducted by qualitative method (descriptive) using budget realization data of the period of 2011-2015. Meanwhile, to determine the factors that influence budget disbursement, EFAS and IFAS analyses were carried out, and the results serve as the basis for preparing alternative strategies in SWOT matrix. The results show that the pattern of budget disbursement is proportional, in the sense that there is no accumulation of budget absorption at the end of the year. From the EFAS and IFAS analyses, it can be seen that there are four main strategic factors that influence the disbursement of budget of the State Treasury Office of Jakarta II i.e. (1) competent budget manager; (2) unwillingness to be a budget manager; (3) budget management training; and (4) completeness of payment documents. Optimization of budget absorption rate is formulated using a strategic architecture approach which is conducted by integrating all activities into three stages of activity implementation period. Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisa hubungan antara leverage, profitability, dan foreign ownership terhadap pengungkapan informasi tanggung jawab sosial (CSR) pada perusahaan dari sektor pertambangan yang terdaftar di Bursa Efek Indonesia (BEI) periode 2013 - 2014. Nilai indeks Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) diukur dengan menggunakan nilai antara indikator yang diungkapkan oleh perusahaan dibagi dengan jumlah indikator yang diatur dalam Global Reporting Initiative (GRI). Metode pengujian hipotesis dalam penelitian ini menggunakan analisis regresi berganda. Hasil penelitian menunjukan bahwa leverage dan profitability memiliki pengaruh dan signifikan terhadap pengungkapan Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) pada perusahaan dari sektor pertambangan di Indonesia.
