Abstract

This study aims to analyze the effect of empowerment on the creativity and performance of managers of Village Credit Institutions (LPD) in Gianyar Regency and examine the role of creativity as mediating the inuence of empowerment on performance. This research was tested on 120 LPD managers spread across Payangan, Gianyar, and Sukawati Districts. The analysis technique used is path analysis. The results showed that empowerment and creativity had a positive and signicant direct inuence on the performance of LPD managers. Research also shows that empowerment has an indirect effect on manager's performance through creativity, so that it can be said that the creativity variable has a role as a mediating variable.

Abstract

Abstract

Small and medium industry (SMI) is the leading sector of the economy of Bali that have contribution on export and labor absorption. In the face of the increasingly competition nowadays, SMI should have primacy as a typical company’s ability to win the competition. The purpose of this research is to know the application of empowerment of human resources and its role in the creativity of employees as a source of competitiveness of the company. Responden in this research are employees of SMI apparel industry sectors from textiles and craft industry of wood, metal, gold and silver, in the Badung Regency. These studies use quantitative analysis approach, using multiple linear regression analysis technique. The results showed that the structural and psychological empowerment simultaneously significant role in propping up the creativity of employees. Structural and psychological empowerment partially also plays a positive and significant in the creativity of employees. The results of this research may imply that the better structural and psychological empowerment happens in companies growing the SMI creativity of employees. The creativity demonstrated by the new combination makes creative in completing the work and improve the ways of completing tasks so that the results of its work more meaningful for the company in the face of an increasingly tight competition.

Abstract

This  study aimed  to  determine  the  effect  of  job   satisfaction  on  employee  performance,  employee  performance to customer satisfaction, and job satisfaction on customer satisfaction through employee performance. This study took place in hospitals-private hospital in Denpasar, sing hospital employees and patients as research respondents. Proof of this hypothesis using path analysis techniques.The results obtained  in  this  study  that  are:  1)  job  satisfaction  have  significant  positive  impact on  employeeperformance, 2) the performance of the employee significant positive effect on customer satisfaction, and 3) positively influence job satisfaction directly and indirectly through the employee’s performance to customer satisfaction.

Abstract

Organizational commitment is an important construct in management, especially in organizational behaviour subject. This is caused organizations face many challenges such as restructuring, downsizing, re-engineering, and economic global competition, so that organizations need commitment of their member. The purpose of this research is to analyze the effect of health and safety management implementation on job satisfaction and organizational commitment.This research used sanitation officer of Dinas Kebersihan dan Pertamanan Kota Denpasar as research respondent. Data collection method used interview and quitionare and for data analysis will be used path analysis. The results showed that the implementation of health and safety management has a significant positive effect on job satisfaction and organizational commitment, and job satisfaction also has a significant positive effect on organizational commitment, and job satisfaction serve as a variable that mediates the effect of health and saftey management implementation on organizational commitment.

Abstract

Literasi teknologi dari para pelaku UKM semakin meningkat dan perubahan dalam ekonomi global memiliki dampak yang sangat besar bagi UKM, dimana perubahan tersebut menawarkan peluang baru untuk berkembang, yaitu terbukanya ekspansi untuk melakukan internasionalisasi. Proses internasionalisasi bukanlah hal yang mudah karena ada permasalahan yang dihadapi meliputi pengetahuan yang kurang tentang pasar karena kurangnya pengalaman dan informasi untuk memperkenalkan produk UKM ke pasar internasional. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah mengkaji pengaruh human capital pada proses internasionalisasi UKM di Provinsi Bali serta menganalisis peran orientasi kewirausahaan dalam memoderasi pengaruh kedua variabel tersebut dengan teknik analisis yang digunakan adalah Moderated Regression Analysis (MRA). Hasil penelitian menunjukkan human capital berpengaruh signifikan terhadap proses internasionalisasi UKM ekspor di Provinsi Bali. Orientasi kewirausahaan ditemukan berpengaruh signifikan terhadap proses internasionalisasi UKM ekspor namun tidak berperan sebagai variabel pemoderasi dari pengaruh human capital pada proses internasionalisasi UKM ekspor di Provinsi Bali. Para pelaku UKM harus memiliki tingkat human capital (kemampuan, keahlian, pengalaman, pengetahuan) yang tinggi agar proses internasionalisasi dilakukan sesuai target, mampu mengambil risiko dengan baik dan proaktif melakukan penjajagan terkait dengan perkembangan usahanya, serta mampu melihat berbagai peluang ataupun ancaman yang dihadapi ketika UKM melakukan proses internasionalisasi.

Abstract

The dynamic work environment in the hospitality industry requires employees to maintain a high level of work engagement to ensure service quality and organizational competitiveness. One of the key factors influencing employee engagement is the leadership style applied by management. Authentic leadership is believed to foster relationships based on openness, honesty, and integrity, which in turn strengthen employees’ trust and their perception of organizational support. This perception, known as perceived organizational support (POS), reflects the extent to which employees feel that the organization values their contributions and cares about their well-being. This study aims to analyze the effect of authentic leadership and perceived organizational support on work engagement, as well as to examine the mediating role of perceived organizational support among 87 employees of Hotel Dewi Sri. Data were collected through questionnaires using a Likert scale and analyzed with Structural Equation Modeling Partial Least Square (SEM-PLS). The results show that both authentic leadership and perceived organizational support have a positive and significant influence on work engagement. Authentic leadership also has a positive and significant effect on perceived organizational support, while perceived organizational support acts as a complementary partial mediator in the relationship between authentic leadership and work engagement. These findings reinforce social exchange theory, which emphasizes that authentic leadership behavior encourages perceptions of organizational support, and through these perceptions, employees reciprocate by exhibiting higher levels of work engagement. The practical implications highlight the importance of communication transparency, value consistency, and concern for employee well-being as strategic approaches to enhance work engagement and overall organizational performance.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menguji peran work-life balance dalam memediasi pengaruh stres kerja terhadap kepuasan kerja karyawan La Joya Balangan Beach Resort yang didasarkan pada inkonsistensi hasil penelitian serta fenomena rendahnya kepuasan kerja yang dipengaruhi oleh tingginya tingkat stres kerja. Penelitian menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif dengan sampel penelitian mencakup seluruh populasi karyawan yang berjumlah 53 orang, yang ditentukan dengan teknik sampling jenuh. Data dikumpulkan melalui kuesioner dengan skala Likert dan dianalisis menggunakan Structural Equation Modeling berbasis Partial Least Square (SEM-PLS). Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa stres kerja berpengaruh negatif dan signifikan terhadap kepuasan kerja dan work life balance sedangkan work-life balance berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap kepuasan kerja. Studi juga menunjukkan bahwa work-life balance terbukti berperan sebagai variabel mediasi parsial pada pengaruh antara stres kerja terhadap kepuasan kerja. Temuan ini menegaskan pentingnya menjaga keseimbangan kehidupan kerja dan pribadi untuk mereduksi dampak negatif stres kerja serta meningkatkan kepuasan kerja karyawan.  Hasil studi juga memperkuat dan mendukung teori/model Job Demand-Resources serta diharapkan dapat menjadi masukan bagi manajemen dalam merumuskan kebijakan yang lebih mendukung kepuasan kerja karyawan dengan lebih memperhatikan manajemen stres dan pengelolaan work life balance.   This study aims to examine the role of work-life balance in mediating the influence of work stress on employee job satisfaction at La Joya Balangan Beach Resort, based on the inconsistency of research results and the phenomenon of low job satisfaction influenced by high levels of work stress. The study used a quantitative approach with a sample of 53 employees, determined by a saturated sampling technique. Data were collected through a questionnaire with a Likert scale and analyzed using Structural Equation Modeling based on Partial Least Square (SEM-PLS). The results showed that work stress had a negative and significant effect on job satisfaction and work-life balance, while work-life balance had a positive and significant effect on job satisfaction. The study also showed that work-life balance was proven to act as a partial mediating variable in the influence of work stress on job satisfaction. This finding emphasizes the importance of maintaining a balance between work and personal life to reduce the negative impact of work stress and increase employee job satisfaction. The results also reinforce the Job Demand–Resources model and provide input for management to formulate policies that enhance employee job satisfaction by improving stress and work-life balance management.
