Abstract

The utilization of renewable energy can be a solution to support the supply of electricalenergy, one of which is the use of solar energy with rooftop solar panels. In this study, the roofof the Graha Sewaka Dharma Building was used as a location for the design of rooftop solarpower plants to be able to help with electrical energy needs and support government programsin developing the use of solar energy. The total roof area of Graha Sewaka Dharma Building is1,616.37 m2. This design uses a battery-free On-grid PLTS system using a Solaria PowerXT-400R-PM solar module with a capacity of 400 Wp and a Ginlong Solis S5-GC36K-LV inverterwith a capacity of 36 kW. This design will calculate the capacity of solar modules that can beinstalled and the electrical energy produced with the limitation of the roof area and load profile inthe Graha Sewaka Dharma Building. Based on the results of the study, the capacity of therooftop PLTS installed in the Graha Sewaka Dharma Building is 188.8 kWp with a total of 472solar module units and 6 inverter units. The energy output produced per year (energy yield) is306,2 MWh/year. The investment feasibility study using the methods Net Present Value,Profitability Index, and Discounted Payback Period shows that this design investment isfeasible. Further research is recommended to study the impact of reducing carbon emissions onthe use of the PV grid.

Abstract

Selection of Pseudo Noise (PN) code in CDMA multiple access is needed to overcomeproblems related to interference. In this study, we simulate the large kasami code with the aimof knowing the performance of the large kasami code on flat fading channels and frequencyselective fading channels with variations in the number of multipath components. The receiversystem uses a correlation receiver to correlate the code used by each user. The simulationresults from the performance of the large kasami code through the flat fading channel show thatthe simulation carried out is valid, where the simulation BER value is close to the flat theoreticalBER value. The frequency selective fading channel shows different BER values from variationsin the number of multipath components, where the multipath 60 component produces the worstBER value. Auto correlation code large kasami has a value when the time is not equal to zerowhich can interfere with the desired signal and there is a cross-correlation signal level value thatwill interfere with each other's users.

Abstract

The development of electric vehicles in Indonesia started after the issuance ofPresidential Decree 55/2019 about battery-based eletric vehicles. The development of electricvehicles must be supported with the charging infrastructure so users do not experienceproblems in charging the vehicles and therefore more people will switch to electric vehicle. Thispaper discusses the current status of charging infrastructure for electric vehicle in Indonesia.Currently, there are several type of vehicle charging facilites consist of 7.000 public electriccharging station or SPLU, 97 public electric vehicle charging station or SPKLU, 9 public electricvehicle battery exchange station or SPBKLU distributed across Sumatra, Java, Bali, NTB,Sulawsi and Kalimantan. In the case of Bali, there are 166 of SPLU, 5 of SPKLU, and there isno SPBKLU yet. The total accumulative energy consumed through the charging stations in Baliis 169.481 kWh. The figure is low due to lack of information about the charging station and thefact that the number of electric vehicles in Bali is still low.

Abstract

Media in the distribution of electrical energy is still using wired until now, in the futurecable may be abandoned and switch to wireless. The scientist of Nikola Tesla creat the Teslacoil which will become the forerunner of wireless electricity distribution that can turn on lights bymeans of air. The purpose of this study to determine the effect of distance on voltage, current,power, electromagnetic induction emitted and the flux of light. The method of analysis usescalculations, tests and measurements obtained from primary data. In general, the data used inthis thesis are the input voltage 5 V and current 1 A, the voltage result by the high voltagegenerator was 400 kV, the number of secondary windings was 1400 coils, the number ofprimary turns was 10 coils, the pipe diameter was 3.81 cm. The diameter of the torus was 8 cm,the distance of the spark gap was 1 cm, the lamps used were TL 8 W, 5 W, LED 5 W andincandescent lamp 5 W, the test used variations in the distance of 1 cm, 3 cm, 5 cm, 7 cm, 9 cmand 11 cm from transmitter to load.From all the tests carried out with distance variations to voltage, elektromagneticinduction and flux, it was found that distance greatly with TL 8 W affected the voltage was 0.2 V,electromagnetic induction was 22859,2 x 10-7 Tesla and light flux emitted by the lamp was 4.8 x10-4 Lumen. If the radius or distance of the transmitter was got closer, the value could receiveget bigger and the farther the value could get smaller.

Abstract

The most widespread use of AC electric motors is three-phase induction motors, almost90% of motor applications in the industry use three-phase induction motors. The operation of 3phase induction motors generally has voltage imbalance disorders. Voltage imbalance affectsseveral things, including losses and efficiency. This study uses simulation method with the aimto determine the influence of unbalanced voltage on the characteristics of 3 phase inductionmotor and how to secure a 3-phase induction motor when it gets an unbalanced voltage supply.The result of this simulation obtained the smallest efficiency is 56.8% in the voltage dropcondition in one phase and 78.4 in the voltage drop condition in all three phases (R, S and T)with voltage asymmetry of 20% and the biggest loss is 11 406 Watts in the voltage dropcondition on one phase with voltage asymmetry of 20%. In the simulation of 3 phase inductionmotor protection system of unbalanced voltage supply obtained by tripping breaker fastest thatis at 0.201 s seconds with drop voltage condition 15% in phase S. 3 phase induction motorsafety pattern when getting unbalanced voltage supply is to use an unbalanced voltage safetysystem that has faster tripping delay time.

Abstract

The service quality of a hotel is supported by a sustainable supply of electrical energy.Electrical energy at the Novotel Ubud Resort & Suite Bali hotel is supplied from PT. PLN.Source Power plant PT. PLN predominantly uses fossil fuels that are less environmentallyfriendly. The solution to this problem is to use renewable fuels to reduce environmental pollutionand as a source of electrical energy at the Novotel Ubud Resort & Suite Bali hotel. This studyaims to design a rooftop solar power plant at the Novotel Hotel Ubud Resort & Suite Bali. Theresults of the simulation of PLTS electrical energy production using the HOMER application.The feasibility of rooftop solar power plants using the NPV, PI and DPP methods. Based on thedata obtained, the Novotel Ubud Resort & Suite Bali Hotel consists of five flat and pyramidroofedbuildings with a total roof area of 2723 m2. This study uses 576 solar modules with atotal power output of 236.16 kWp and uses 3 inverters with a capacity of 80 kW. The results ofthe HOMER simulation show that the annual electrical energy production from PLTS is 377,083kWh. From the feasibility of PLTS has an NPV value of Rp. 633,125,923, the PI value is 1.25and the DPP value is 13.8 years. The results of this design can be said to be feasible becausethe NPV value is positive and is able to reverse the initial cost of PLTS for 13.8 years from theassumption for 25 years.

Abstract

Telecommunication capable of handling interference, fading and no less importantissues regarding the confidentiality of user information is very much needed in the currenttechnological era, to overcome this spread spectrum technology is quite developed in theadvancement of telecommunication technology. In this study, the small kasami code was usedas the spreading code. The purpose of this study is to determine the performance of the smallkasami code with changes in the number of multipath components using multipath fadingchannels. The modulation technique uses digital modulation, namely binary phase shift keying(BPSK) with a small kasami code with a code length of 15 in the spreading and spreadingprocess. Analyzed based on BER (Bit Error Rate) versus EB/No (Energy Bit per Noise). In thesimulation of flat fading performance using 1 multipath component, flat fading serves as an idealreference where the simulation BER should resemble the theoretical BER as simulationvalidation so that it can be used on selective fading channels. Variation of multipathcomponents in frequency selective fading channel produces different BER because there isinterference of multipath signal to the desired signal. The number of multipath components asmany as 11 have the most interference signals resulting in the worst performance. The value ofcross correlation between users has poor performance, where the correlation value of user 1with 2, 3, and 4 is more than 0, this value shows that many signal levels experience interferencebetween users.

Abstract

The increasing. use of non-linear loads can make. harmonic distortion in the current andvoltage waves so that it can reduce the. reliability and quality of the. power system. Non-linearloads that are often used are induction motors, consequently the use of induction. motors willhave an impact on the high harmonics. of the system. The impact. of these harmonics can bereduced by using a. hybrid filter. The method used is. direct measurement of the object understudy in the form. of current data, motor rotation and 3 induction motor THDi. This researchuses a Simulink-based simulation. which aims to reduce the. harmonic content in. the networkand to see the effect of harmonics. on the performance of the. 3-phase induction motor onrotation and torque. The. results of the. analysis show. that the hybrid filter. can. reduce theharmonic content in the network. The decrease that occurs in THDi is 11.96% in the R phase,11.95% in the S. phase and 11.96% in the T phase with a load of 3 motors. Using hybrid powerfilter is able to make the motor rotation stable at 0.17 s. However, the rotation. of the. inductionmotor remains at. 1498 rpm and a torque of 0.4682 Nm.

Abstract

The Padangsambian Kaja Village Government in Denpasar City through the SDGsprogram from the Ministry of Villages, Development of Disadvantaged Regions andTransmigration has implemented clean and renewable energy. The power plant being operatedis the rooftop solar power plant with a capacity of 7,2 kWp which is connected to the PLNnetwork. The study was conducted to determine the performance of the installed solar powerplant with the help of HelioScope software simulation. Energy production will be comparedbetween the simulation results of the 2 scenarios with the results of monitoring on the inverter inthe period from May to July 2021, so that it will be known the factors that influence theproduction of solar power plant energy. The results show the potential for energy productioneach year from the simulation results of scenario 1 and scenario 2 respectively are 9.964 kWhand 10.306 kWh, and the simulation results for energy production in the period from May to Julyin scenario 1 and scenario 2 respectively are 2.937,3 kWh and 3.057,8 kWh. Energy productionfrom scenario 1 and scenario 2 simulation is higher than real energy production, with adifference of 180,9 kWh with a percentage of 6,1% for scenario 1, and 301,4 kWh with apercentage of 9,8% for scenario 2.

Abstract

Analysis of the EDF (Electric Ducted Fan) thrust motor test and the determination of the takeoff system on the ATmega 328-based rocket vehicle is a prototype design of a thrust test tool that is used to measure the thrust output of a 70 mm EDF motor used as a vehicle propulsion engine. EDF rockets as well as a prototype rocket takeoff system that serves as a takeoff indicator using the data from the EDF thrust motor test as a reference for rocket liftoff. The data measured in the EDF motor thrust test are, among others, thrust data detected using a load cell sensor, RPM data (EDF motor rotation) detected using an infrared proximity sensor, PWM (Pulse Wide Modulation) output data from the mapping input potentiometer. and a 16x2 LCD module with I2C used to display test data. The thrust test data used on the prototype of the rocket takeoff system are RPM and PWM data with indicators ready to take off using green LEDs. The prototype of the take-off system of the rocket vehicle is based on the ratio between the thrust of the EDF motor and the rocket's weight (thrust to weight ratio) of ?1. The results of the research when testing the thrust on the EDF motor with a 6 blades propeller obtained maximum RPM and thrust data of 73619 RPM and 695.3 g, for testing on the EDF motor with a 12 blades propeller obtained the maximum RPM and thrust data of 65861 RPM and 696.2 g RPM, where all these data is obtained when 100% PWM output from Arduino to ESC (Electric Speed Controller). Thrust to weight ratio produced on each EDF motor with 6 blades and 12 blades propellers is 1,202 and 1,189. Takeoff system uses PWM input reference to brushless motor ESC at 100% ratio
