Abstract

Penelitian ini dilakukan dengan tujuan untuk mendeskripsikan hasil pemanfaatan cerita rakyat sebagai upaya membangun kreativitas anak dan mendeskripsikan bentuk-bentuk kreativitas anak. Jenis penelitian yang digunakan yaitu studi pustaka (library research) dengan teknik pengumpulan data yaitu mengumpulkan jurnal maupun referensi lainnya yang relevan tentang kreativitas anak dan media cerita rakyat. Kemudian dipilih, disajikan dan dianalisis serta diolah supaya ringkas dan sistematis. Caranya yaitu dengan membaca intensif sumber data tersebut untuk menemukan data yang diinginkan dan pengkajian terhadap jurnal yang relevan. Teknik analisis data yang digunakan yaitu menggunakan teknik analisis isi (content analysis). Hasil temuan dari peneliti-peneliti terdahulu yang telah dikaji, dapat disimpulkan bahwa pemanfaatan media cerita rakyat dapat membangun kreativitas anak. Hal ini menunjukkan bahwa dengan menerapkan media cerita rakyat sebagai bahan bacaan, anak dapat termotivasi untuk mengembangkan kreativitas mereka masing-masing.

Abstract

Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian tindakan kelas yang bertujuan untuk meningkatkan hasil belajar siswa kelas IV SD Negeri 189 Halmahera Selatan melalui model Team Quiz pada materi pokok kegiatan ekonomi dalam meningkatkan sumber daya alam. Subjek penelitian ini adalah siswa kelas IV SD Negeri 189 Halmahera Selatan yang berjumlah 22 siswa. Instrumen yang digunakan peneliti adalah soal sebanyak 10 item dan lembar observasi. Hasil penelitian dilaksanankan dalam dua siklus, silklus I dan siklus II maka dapat disimpulkan bahwa hasil penelitian menunjukan model Team Quiz pada pokok bahasan kegiatan ekonomi dalam meningkatkan sumber daya alam siklus I aktivitas siswa 57,5% aktivitas guru 57,5% pencapaian belajar siswa 50,45% dan penilaian kelompok 13,75% sedangkan pada siklus II mengalami peningkatan dengan jumlah siswa 22. Dalam aktivitas siswa siklus II memperoleh nilai jumlah siswa 22 dengan nilai rata-rata 92,5% aktivitas guru 97,5% hasil pencapaian belajar siswa 71,81% dan penilaian kelompok 71% menunjukan bahwa terdapat peningkatan hasil belajar siswa IV SD Negeri 189 Halmahera Selatan pada materi pokok kegiatan ekonomi dalam meningkatkan sumber daya alam dengan nilai rata – rata sebesar 71.81 dengan interpretasi Tinggi.

Abstract

Pendidikan sebagai upaya mengembangkan potensi peserta didik agar menjadi manusia yang beriman dan bertaqwa kepada Tuhan Yang Maha Esa, berahlak mulia, sehat, berilmu, cakap, kreatif, mandiri dan menjadi warga negara yang demokratis serta  bertanggungjawab.  Dalam  hal  ini, siswa perlu dibekali dengan pendidikan karakter untuk pengembangan nilai-nilai ideologi bangsa, agama, budaya, dan nilai-nilai yang telah dirumuskan dalam tujuan pendidikan nasional. Pendidikan karakter bukan hanya menjadi tanggungjawab mata pelajaran Agama dan Pendidikan Kewarganegaraan (PKn), namun proses pembelajaran nilai-nilai karakter dapat diintegrasikan di dalam setiap mata pelajaran sejak proses pembelajaran  berlangsung.  Adapun  nilai-nilai pendidikan karakter yang dikembangkan dalam setiap mata pelajaran meliputi: religius, jujur, toleransi, disiplin, kerja keras, kreatif, mandiri,  demokratis,  rasa  ingin  tahu,  semangat kebangsaan, cinta tanah air, menghargai prestasi, bersahabat, cinta damai, gemar membaca, peduli lingkungan, peduli sosial, dan tanggung jawab. Nilai-nilai karakter tersebut sejalan dengan visi MIPA dan tujuan kurikulum 2013 yaitu untuk mempersiapkan peserta didik agar memiliki kemampuan hidup sebagai pribadi dan warga negara yang beriman, produktif, berpikir dan bersikap kritis, kreatif, inovatif, afektif, cermat, objektif dan terbuka, menghargai keindahan matematika dan IPA, rasa ingin tahu dan senang belajar MIPA serta mampu berkonstribusi pada kehidupan bermasyarakat, berbangsa, bernegara, dan peradaban dunia. Namun di sisi lain  fenomena dekadensi moral sungguh amat memprihatinkan, tidak semakin berkurang, justru semakin meningkat. Upaya-upaya dari berbagai pihak termasuk pihak sekolah selama ini ternyata belum mampu mewadahi pengembangan karakter peserta didik secara dinamis dan adaptif. Seiring waktu bergulir, permasalahan ini merupakan salah satu indikator kekurangberhasilan sekolah dalam menanamkan pendidikan karakter terhadap peserta didik. Dalam pembahasan makalah ini, tim penulis mencoba menelaah bagaimana konsep mengadaptasi pendidikan karakter dalam pembelajaran matematika dan IPA, untuk mendukung tumbuhnya budaya dan karakter siswa di sekolah. Pembahasan yang disajikan meliputi tiga hal, yakni kurikulum 2013, pendidikan karakter, dan adaptasi pendidikan dalam pembelajaran matematika dan IPA

Abstract

This study aims to improve students’ learning outcomes in the subject of social studies subject of historical heritage in class IV SD Negeri 48 Ternate, the type of research used is Classroom Action Research (CAR). The stages are (1) planning, (2) implementation and observation, and (3) reflection. The subjects of this study were 30 students. The object of this research is the inquiry learning model.The data collection technique in this study are observation sheets, tests, and documentation of the instruments used to determine student learning outcomes in the form of a multiple choice test (PG) with 10 numbers. The data analysis technique used is descriptive qualitative that is seen from several percent of the success rate of student learning outcomes.The results showed that in the first cycle and the first cycle, the application of the inquiry learning model could improve students’ learning outcomes in social studies subjects, especially the historical heritage material in class IV SD Negeri 48 Ternate. This shows the students' completeness in the first cycle as many as 10 students or 17.70% of the 30 students who took part in the learning process in the classroom with an average number of 59.00% in the first cycle. The second cycle of learning students’ learning outcomes an increase. Of the 30 students who took part in the learning process in the classroom, 28 students who completed it or 23.40% with an average score of 78.00%, or in the good category descriptive scale.

Abstract

This study aims to improve Civics learning outcomes with the time token learning model in Civics subjects, the subject of the meaning of unity and precepts of Pancasila in class V SD Negeri 1 Ternate City, the type of research used is Classroom Action Research (CAR). The stages are: 1) planning, 2) implementation and observation, and 3) reflection. The research subjects were 28 students. The object of this research is the time token learning model. The data collection technique in this study was using observation sheets, tests and instrument documentation used to determine student learning outcomes in the form of a multiple-choice test (PG) as many as 10 numbers. The data analysis technique used is descriptive qualitative that is seen from several percent of the success rate of student learning outcomes. Based on the results of the research that has been carried out, it can be concluded that the application of the time token learning model can improve Civics learning outcomes specifically for the meaning of unity and Pancasila precepts in class V SD Negeri I Ternate City. This shows that the students' completeness in the first cycle was 5 students from 28 students who took part in the learning process in the classroom with an average number of 4.29% in the first cycle. While the second cycle of learning student learning outcomes an increase. Of the 28 students who took part in the learning process in the classroom, 24 students who completed the class with an average score of 32.71%. Or in the good category descriptive scale.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to improve the speaking ability of the first grade students of SD Negeri 15 South Halmahera Regency. The method used in this research is classroom action research. The source of the data intended in this research is the activities of students and teachers in speaking skills using serialized image media, especially Grade I students at SD Negeri 15 Halsel. The data collection procedures used in this study are (1) Test. The test was carried out twice, namely the initial test (pre-test) and the final test (post-test), (2) observations to measure student activity and researcher activities in the learning process, (3) interviews to find out the opinions or attitudes of students and teachers about their abilities. Students are being spoken to through the use of image media. Students Results: The use of serial image media in learning to speak is carried out in three stages, namely the planning, implementation, and evaluation stages. (1) The use of Serial Picture Media in learning can improve students' speaking skills, (2) Learning evaluation is carried out in two aspects, namely evaluation of the learning process, and evaluation of learning outcomes, (4) Overall, students' skills increased from an average of 61 in cycle 1 to 80 in cycle 2. The highest value in cycle 1 reaches 80, while in cycle 2, it increases to 90. While the lowest value in cycle 1 is 45, and in cycle 2 it increases to 75. (4) The percentage of complete learning students also increased from cycle 1 to cycle 2. This can be seen in the percentage of completeness in cycle 1 only reached 65%, while in cycle 2 it increased to 100%. Thus, the level of incompleteness decreased from 45% to 0%.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine the teacher's role in motivating the learning of SD Alkhairaat 03 Kampung Makassar students during the pandemic and to describe the factors that inhibited student learning motivation at SD Alkhairaat 03 Kampung Makassar, Ternate City. This study uses a qualitative research approach. In collecting data using observation techniques, interviews, and documentation. Respondents in this study were classroom teachers and students. The results showed that the teacher's role in motivating students was maximal, the teacher gave various motivations by (1) giving praise; (2) involving students in the learning process; (3) make class conditions conducive; (4) the use of various learning media. While the inhibiting factors for the lack of student learning motivation during the pandemic are (1) lack of internet access when online learning is implemented; (2) teachers do not really understand how to learn by using online applications; (3) media and learning models that do not vary. Thus it can be concluded that the teacher's role in motivating students' learning at SD Alkhairaat 03 Kampung Makassar, Ternate City is good, but less than optimal because there are still obstacles. Teachers should in the learning process use more varied methods, invite students to learn to take advantage of the surrounding environment.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine the process of applying a problem-based model and improving social studies learning outcomes on the BPUPKI concept in class V SD Inpres Awis to describe student learning outcomes through the application of a problem-based model to the BPUPKI concept in class V SD Inpres Awis.This research is a type of classroom action research (CAR) with the aim of improving social studies learning outcomes for fifth grade students of SD Inpres Awis. The subjects of this study were the fifth grade students of SD Inpres Awis, with a total of 20 students. This research was conducted in two cycles. The data sources in this classroom action research consist of students, researchers, and teachers as evaluators. Students get data about learning outcomes and student activities in the social studies learning process. To see the level of success of student learning by applying mind mapping learning strategies. Teachers as evaluators and observers. To assess and evaluate researchers in the learning process by applying social studies learning strategies. The technique used in this research is the test technique. The questions used in this research are in the form of a description consisting of 10 questions that have been made.The percentage data obtained in the first cycle shows the number of students who completed as many as 4 students, or 20%, while in the second cycle, the number of students who completed the learning evaluation was as high as 16 students, or 80%. This shows that the application of the problem-based learning model in this study can improve student learning outcomes on the BPUPKI concept.

Abstract

This studi aims to determine the role of parents in the formation of children's character in Tafure Village, North Ternate District. The research method used in this study is a descriptive qualitative method. In collecting data using interview and documentation techniques. Respondents in this study were the village head, village priest, head of youth, and 10 parents who have children aged 7-12 years.The results showed that through interviews and documentation in the field, the role of parents in shaping the character of children in Tafure village, North Ternate sub-district, among others: (1) providing advice, giving advice to children by parents in their spare time or when children make mistakes; (2) educating through examples that aim to make children have good character because they directly follow the behavior of their parents; (3) teach and provide understanding to children in recognizing and knowing their obligations as a child; (4) train children with manners that every parent must do to instill the values of politeness and courtesy that have become customary values; (5) conduct a system of habituation of parents to children so that children become individuals who are accustomed to doing good things. This role is carried out by parents in the Tafure sub-district, North Ternate sub-district in forming character values in children which include religious values, honesty, discipline, independence, social care, environmental care, and responsibility. If seen from the results found, the role of parents in shaping the character of children in the Tafure village, North Ternate sub-district has entered the level of becoming a culture for the formation of polite and courteous attitudes, while the formation of other character values is still at the level of becoming a habit and getting used to it.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine the first semester students’ ability to understand the cohesion and coherence in narrative paragraph and to describe the results of the analyzing students’ ability to understand cohesion and coherence in narrative paragraph. This is aqualitative research by applying the qualitative descriptive method in analyzing data, the data received can be interpreted by examining the data, checking the validity of the data, and describing the first semester students of Ternate Health Polytechnics’ writing narrative essays. The results of this study indicate that the first semester students of the Ternate Health Polytechnic do not yet understand the cohesion and coherence between paragraphs in narrative essays. As a result of the lack of student understanding of the cohesion and coherence between the paragraphs, the student has not been able to apply it in their writing discourse it is always not cohesive and incoherent.
