Abstract

AbstractThe principal has a role in improving the performance of all human resources in the educational institutions he led, and administrative staff who are part of the human resources in the educational institutions he must make an increase in their performance. This research was conducted to expounding the importance of the Principal’s role in Madrasah Tsanawiyah (MTs) Nahdlatul Ulama (NU) Putra 2 Pesantren Buntet Cirebon, was conducted to expounding the performance of administrative staff, and was conducted to expounding the efforts on the role principal improving the performance of the human resources (HR) administrative staff in Madrasah Tsanawiyah (MTs) Nahdlatul Ulama (NU) Putra 2 Pesantren Buntet Cirebon. The research was based empirical research and the research approach used qualitative research. To the results used describing the conditions seen in the field as they are. Data collection techniques were through in-depth observation, interviews and documentation. Based on the result of this research, it was known that: 1) The principal has carried out his role in improving the performance of administrative staff, 2) the performance of administrative staff at MTs NU Putra 2 Buntet Pesantren has carried out performance in accordance with the standard of school/Madrasah administration, dan 3) the role of the principal in improving the performance of human resources (HR) has been carried out by the principal through performance planning, performance actions/implementation, performance monitoring/supervision and performance review. Keywords: Role, Principal, Performance, Administration                                                                  AbstrakKepala madrasah memiliki peran dalam meningkatkan kinerja seluruh sumber daya manusia yang ada di lembaga pendidikan yang di pimpinnya, tidak terkecuali tenaga administrasi yang merupakan bagian dari sumber daya manusia di sekolah yang harus melakukan peningkatan dalam kinerjanya. Tujuan penelitian ini yaitu untuk mengetahui tentang peran kepala madrasah terhadap kinerja tenaga administrasi, untuk mengetahui tentang kinerja tenaga administrasi, dan untuk mengetahui upaya peran kepala madrasah dalam meningkatkan kinerja sumber daya manusia (SDM) tenaga administrasi di MTs NU Putra 2 Buntet Pesantren. Dalam penelitian ini, peneliti menggunakan jenis penelitian empiris dan menggunakan metode penelitian kualitatif. Untuk mendapatkan hasil dengan menggambarkan kondisi yang dilihat di lapangan secara apa adanya. Dan untuk mendapatkan hasil yang sesuai peneliti inginkan, Peneliti menggunakan teknik pengumpulan data yaitu: observasi mendalam, wawancara mendalam, dan dokumentasi. Dari hasil penelitian yang diperoleh, bahwa 1) kepala madrasah sudah melaksanakan perannya dalam meningkatkan kinerja tenaga administrasi, 2) kinerja tenaga adimistrasi di MTs NU Putra 2 Buntet Pesantren sudah melaksanakan kinerja sesuai dengan standar tenaga administrasi Sekolah/Madrasah, dan 3) upaya peran kepala madrasah dalam meningkatan kinerja sumber daya manusia (SDM) sudah dilaksanakan kepala madrasah melalui perencanaan kinerja, tindakan/pelaksanaan kinerja, memonitor/pengawasan kinerja dan review kinerja. Dengan demikian, menunjukan bahwa kepala sekolah berperan dalam meningkatkan kinerja tenaga administrasi di sekolah.Kata Kunci: Peran, Kepala Madrasah, Kinerja, Administrasi

Abstract

  ABSTRACTThe problem of educational facilities is basically complex. Schools are required to have independence to regulate and manage the interest of the school. According to their own needs and abilities and based on quality, aspirations and participation of school resident continue to refer to applicable national education laws  and  regulations.  The  principal  as  a  leader  plays  an  important  role  in managing the facilities at the school in order to support  his learning activitie s at school. For this reason this research was conducted, explaining the importance of the  participal’s  role  and  the  principal’s  strategy  in  developing  educational facilities. This research in based on the SISDIKNAS law and corcerned theory. Research approach using qualitative research. Data collection techniques though participant observation, in-depth interviews and documentations. Technical analysis of qualitative data through data reduction, data presentation and conclusion drawing. Based on the results of the research that : 1) The principal has done his part in developing education facilities in MTs Negeri 2 Cirebon City.2) The strategy under taken by school principals in developing educational facilities is by forming special taems, collaborations with other institutions or againcies. 3) The inhibiting factor for school principals in developing educational facilities is the length of disbursement of funds from the goverment, while supporting factors for school principals in developing educational facilities is the incomplete facilities available in schools to support learning activities.Keywords: Strategy, Principal, Education facilities.  ABSTRAKMasalah sarana pendidikan pada dasarnya cukup kompleks. Sekolah dituntut  memiliki  kemandirian  untuk  mengatur  dan  mengurus  kepentingan sekolah menurut kebutuhan dan kemampuan sendiri serta berdasarkan mutu, aspirasi dan partisipasi warga sekolah tetap mengacu pada peraturan dan perundang-undangan pendidikan nasional yang berlaku. Kepala sekolah sebagai pemimpin,  berperan  penting  dalam  mengelola  sarana  yang  terdapat  disekolah demi menunjangnya kegiatan pembelajaran disekolah.Untuk itulah penelitian ini dilakukan, memaparkan pentingnya peran kepala sekolah dan strategi kepala sekolah dalam mengembangkan sarana pendidikan. Penelitian ini didasarkan pada undang-undang sisdiknas dan teori prihatin. Pendekatan penelitian menggunakan penelitian kualitatif. Teknik pengumpulan data melalui obserfasi partisipan, wawancara mendalam  dan  dokumentasi. Teknis analisi  data  kualitatif  melalui reduksi data, penyajian data dan penarikan kesimpulan. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian bahwa: 1) kepala sekolah sudah melakukan peranannya dalam mengembangkan sarana pendidikan di MTs Negeri 2 Kota Cirebon. 2) Strategi yang dilakukan kepala sekolah dalam mengembangkan sarana pendidikan yaitu dengan  cara membentuk  tim  khusus,  kerjasama  dengan  komite  sekolah,   dan kerjasama  dengan  lembaga  atau  instansi  lain.  3)  Faktor  penghambat  kepala sekolah  dalam  mengembangkan  sarana  pendidikan  yaitu  lamanya  pencairan dana dari pemerintah, sedangkan faktor pendukung kepala sekolah dalam mengembangkan  sarana  pendidikan  yaitu  belum  lengkapnya  fasilitas  yang terdapat disekolah untuk menunjang kegiatan pembelajaran.Kata Kunci: Strategi, Kepala Sekolah, Sarana Pendidikan.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pemanfaatan Sistem Informasi Manajemen Pendidikan (EMIS) dalam pengambilan keputusan di Seksi PAIS Kementerian Agama Kabupaten Majalengka Provinsi Jawa Barat. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian kualitatif, teknik pengumpulan data dengan observasi, wawancara, dan dokumentasi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan pertama, pengelolaan data dalam Sistem Informasi Manajemen Pendidikan meliputi pengumpulan melalui Forum Tenaga Kerja Guru, pokja guru, dan forum Guru Mata Pelajaran. Validasi data dilakukan oleh operator Sistem Informasi Manajemen Pendidikan di kabupaten kemudian diunggah ke dalam aplikasi online, penyimpanan data Sistem Informasi Manajemen Pendidikan disusun dalam bentuk excel. Kedua, pengambilan keputusan dilakukan dengan empat tahap: 1) identifikasi masalah, 2) menentukan alternatif solusi, 3. implementasi kebijakan, 4) evaluasi kebijakan. Ketiga, penggunaan Sistem Informasi Manajemen Pendidikan sebagai informasi dalam pengambilan keputusan telah dilakukan sesuai dengan tujuan penerapan Informador Manajemen Pendidikan. Sistem sebagai informasi di Kementerian Agama sebagai pusat data dan informasi pendidikan. This study aims to determine the use of the Education Management Information System (EMIS) in decision-making in the PAIS Section of the Ministry of Religion, Majalengka Regency, West Java Province. This research is qualitative research, data collection techniques with observation, interviews, and documentation. The results of the study show that first, data management in the Education Management Information System includes collection through the Teacher Workforce Forum, teacher working groups, and Subject Teacher forums. Data validation is carried out by the Education Management Information System operator in the district then uploaded into an online application, the Education Management Information System data storage is compiled in excel form. Second, decision-making is carried out in four stages: 1) problem identification, 2) determining alternative solutions, 3. policy implementation, 4) policy evaluation. Third, the use of the Education Management Information System as information in decision making has been carried out in accordance with the objectives of implementing the Education Management Information System. Abstract

The implementation of academic supervision is one of the important things to do. With the implementation of supervision, it is hoped that it can provide assistance and breakthrough solutions to educational problems and improve the performance of teachers in the learning process. This study aims to determine the problems with the implementation of academic supervision during the Covid-19 pandemic at MI Islamiyah Cirebon. To achieve this goal, this study uses a qualitative approach with phenomenological descriptive analysis. Data collection techniques were carried out through interviews and documentation studies. To obtain comprehensive data, researchers used triangulation to support the credibility and validity of the data obtained. The results of the study stated that: (1) the problems found in implementing academic supervision during the Covid-19 pandemic are the difficulty in implementing the national curriculum in the midst of the Covid-19 pandemic, teachers’ unpreparedness in carrying out online learning, teachers; technology savvy, technical differences in the implementation of learning for each school that cause contra for the parents, understanding of the material which cannot be absorbed optimally, teachers’ difficulty in assessing the development of students' affective attitudes; (2) efforts to overcome the problems of academic supervision are replacing the national curriculum with the Covid-19 emergency curriculum, providing guidance and direction related to the use of technology, and implementing face-to-face learning twice a week.

Abstract

AbstractThis paper is an attempt to explain Indonesia's national education policy as stated in the Nawacita in dealing with the ASEAN Economic Community. MEA, is a process of economic integration, which aims to unite the economic potential of each ASEAN member country, so that it becomes an integrated economic area, which is seen as having a potential impact on the economy. However, these economic opportunities cannot have an impact if they are not supported by the readiness of reliable human resources. This factor is the main responsibility that must be carried out, on an ongoing basis, through quality education which is framed by the term Nawacita, to prepare competitive and highly competitive human resources. In order to realize this quality education, the Indonesian government has implemented a human resource development framework, through the direction of the national education policy, namely Nawacita. The policy is basically aimed at increasing the competitiveness of the Indonesian people, so that it has an impact on economic growth and the welfare of the nationKeywords : MEA, Education Politics, Nawacita. AbstrakTulisan ini sebagai upaya menjelaskan, kebijakan pendidikan nasional Indonesia yang tertuang dalam Nawacita dalam mengahadapi Masyarakat Ekonomi ASEAN. MEA, merupakan proses integrasi ekonomi, yang bertujuan untuk menyatukan potensi ekonomi disetiap negara anggota ASEAN, sehingga menjadi satu kawasan ekonomi terpadu, yang dipandang memberikan dampak potensial pada bidang ekonomi. Namun peluang ekonomi tersebut, tidak dapat memberikan dampak, jika tidak didukung dengan kesiapan sumber daya manusia yang handal. Faktor inilah yang menjadi tangung jawab utama yang harus dilakukan, secara berkelanjutan, melalui pendididkan yang berkualitas yang dibingkai dengan istilah Nawacita, untuk mempersiapkan sumber daya manusia yang kompetitif, dan berdaya saing tinggi. Demi mewujudkan pendidikan yang berkualitas tersebut, maka pemerintah Indonesia telah menerapkan kerangka pembangunan sumber daya manusia, melalui arah kebijakan pendidikan nasional, yakni Nawacita. Abstract

ABSTRAKGaya kepemimpinan merupakan suatu aspek yang sangat penting dalam pengelolaan lembaga pendidikan guna mencapai tujuan instansi pendidikan. Pemberdayaan tenaga honorer dapat dilihat dari cara pemimpin dalam memimpin instansinya. Fakta di lapangan terdapat harmonisasi internal kantor serta minimnya kesenjangan antara staf PNS dan staf honorer. Penelitian dilakukan untuk mengetahui sejauh mana gaya kepemimpinan koordinator wilayah bidang pendidikan dalam memberdayakan tenaga honorer di koordinator wilayah bidang pendidikan kecamatan kedawung kabupaten Cirebon. Metode yang digunakan kualitatif deskriptif empiris. Pengambilan data melalui wawancara mendalam, observasi mendalam, dan dokumentasi. Teknik analisis data menggunakan kualitatif deskriptif yang meliputi reduksi data, penyajian data, dan verifikasi data. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa 1) gaya kepemimpinan yang diterapkan di koordinator wilayah bidang pendidikan kecamatan Kedawung didominasi oleh gaya kepemimpinan transformatif, 2) upaya-upaya yang dilakukan oleh koordinator wilayah bidang pendidikan kecamatan Kedawung yaitu membenahi kantor agar lebih nyaman bagi karyawan, sering mengadakan syukuran makan-makan, menciptakan lingkungan organisasi yang menyenangkan yaitu dengan menghindari cara-cara repsesif dalam memimpin. 3) gaya kepemimpinan mempengaruhi optimal atau tidaknya kinerja tenaga honorer.Kata Kunci : Gaya Kepemimpinan, Optimalisasi, Pegawai Honorer ABSTRACTLeadership style was a very important aspect in the management of educational institutions in order to achieve the goals of educational institutions. Empowerment of honorary staff can be seen from the way leaders lead their institutions. The facts in the field are there was internal office harmonization and the minimum gap between civil servant staff and honorary staff. The study was conducted to determine the extent of the leadership style of the regional education coordinator in empowering the honorary staff in the regional education coordinator of the Kedawung sub-district, Cirebon district. The method used was qualitative descriptive empirical. Retrieval of data through in-depth interviews, in-depth observation, and documentation. The data analysis technique uses descriptive qualitative which includes data reduction, data presentation, and data verification. The results showed that 1) the leadership style applied in the education area coordinator of the Kedawung sub-district was dominated by the transformative leadership style, 2) the efforts made by the regional coordinator for education in the Kedawung sub-district, namely fixing the office so that it was more comfortable for employees, often holding meals and thanksgiving, creating a pleasant organizational environment, namely by avoiding repessive ways of leading. 3) leadership style influences the optimal performance of honorary staff.Keywords: Leadership Style, Optimization, Employees Honorary

Abstract

Pesantern sebagai pendidikan nonformal adalah sebuah lembaga pendidikan dan penyiaran agama Islam. Pondok pesantren juga sebagai basis pendidikan yang tertua di Indonesia karena sejalan dengan perjalanan penyebaran Islam di kabupaten Majalengka, hal ini dibuktikan dengan telah berdirinya pondok-pondok pesantren di kabupaten Majalengka seperti Pondok Pesantren Raudlatul Mubtadi`in Cisambeng Palasah Majalengka. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menjawab rumusan masalah di atas yakni untuk mengetahui pembaharuan pendidikan pesantren dalam menghadapi tantangan dan hambatan di era modern. Pendidikan pesantren menyangkut jenis kelembagaannya, sistem pondokannya, sistem pembelajarannya, evaluasinya dan tidak kalah pentingnya adalah sistem pengelolaan atau manajemennya yang harus lebih menekankan pada pemberdayaan semua potensi yang ada dalam lingkungan pesantren dan lingkungannya. Semua hal itu dilakukan tidak lain adalah upaya untuk meningkatkan mutu pendidikan dan pelayanan kepada masyarakat.

Abstract

ABSTRAKPenelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui strategi manajemen wakil kepala sekolah bidang hubungan masyarakat dalam meningkatkan output melalui program kerjasama dunia usaha/ dunia industri di Sekolah Menengah Kejuruan Samudra Nusantara. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah kualitatif deskriptif dengan teknik pengumpulan data, berupa wawancara mendalam, observasi mendalam, dan studi dokumentasi. Dengan informan penelitian yaitu, kepala sekolah, hubungan masyarakat, dan ketua Bursa Kerja Khusus Sekolah Menengah Kejuruan Samudra Nusantara Cirebon. Teknik analisis data yang digunakan dengan pengumpulan data, reduksi data, penyajian data, dan penarikan kesimpulan. Hasil penelitian ini adalah strategi humas dalam meningkatkan output melalui program kerja sama dunia usaha/dunia industri di Sekolah Menengah Kejuruan Samudra Nusantara Cirebon disimpulkan cukup baik. Hal ini ditunjukkan dari strategi humas yang memperhatikan dan menyusun (1) Perencanaan Humas, yaitu (a) menetapkan tujuan, (b) menentukan kekuatan, (c) menyusun strategi, (d) Persiapan kerja sama. (2) Pelaksanaan Humas, yaitu (a) mensosialisasikan program, (b) menyakinkan stakeholders, (c) membuka komunikasi, (d) follow-up. (3) Evaluasi humas yaitu evaluasi hasil. Kata Kunci : Strategi, Hubungan Masyarakat, Kerja sama ABSTRACTThe aim of this research is to know the management strategy of the vice principal of public relation to improve the output via cooperation program business world or industrial world  at Samudra Nusantara Cirebon Vocational High School. The method using descriptive qualitative. Data collection technique are in-depth interview, in-depth observation, and documentation study. The informant of this research are head master, public relation, and the head of the special job fair Samudra Nusantara Cirebon Vocational High School. The data analysis technique using are data collection, data reduction, data presentation, and data conclusion. The result is the public relation strategy to improve output of the business world/industrial world cooperation program at Samudra Nusantara Cirebon Vocational High School is to be quite good. This is shown by the public relation strategy that pay attention and arranges (1) public relation planning, (a) setting goals, (b) determining strengths, (c) developing strategies, (d) preparing for cooperation. (2) implementation of public relations, (a) socializing the program, (b) convincing stakeholders, (c) opening communication, (d) follow-up. Abstract

The percentage of poor people in Indonesia has increased by 0.41% which is a challenge for the government so that the hope of education is not cut off. Education fee assistance is expected to help allocate education costs, either directly or indirectly, which will have an impact on the motivation of students. So that the purpose of this study is to analyze the effectiveness of PIP assistance on the motivation of students at MTs Putri Siti Hajar Bandung. The method used in this research is the quantitative method. Collecting data by means of interviews and questionnaires with a total sample of 23 respondents. The results showed that the PIP assistance activity was 61.3%, while the motivation of students at MTs Putri Siti Hajar Bandung was equal to. The effectiveness of PIP assistance has a positive and significant effect on the motivation of students at MTs Putri Siti Hajar Bandung by 16.2%.Presentase penduduk miskin di Indonesia naik sebesar 0,41 % menjadi tantangan bagi pemerintah agar harapan pendidikan tidak terputus. Bantuan biaya pendidikan diharapkan dapat membantu pengalokasian biaya pendidikan baik secara langsung maupun tak langsung yang memberi dampak pada motivasi peserta didik. Sehingga tujuan penelitian ini yaitu menganalisis efektifitas bantuan PIP terhadap motivasi peserta didik di MTs Putri Siti Hajar Bandung. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini ialah metode kuantitatif. Pengumpulan data dengan cara wawancara dan kuisioner dengan jumlah sampel sebanyak 23 responden. Hasil penelitian menunjukan bahwa ewktifitas bantuan PIP  sebesar 61,3 %, sedangkan motivasi peserta didik di MTs Putri Siti Hajar Bandung sebesar . Efektifitas bantuin PIP berpengaruh secara positif dan signifikan terhadap motivasi peserta didik di MTs Putri Siti Hajar Bandung sebesar 16.2 %.Keywords: Effectiveness, Cost of Education, Motivation

Abstract

Technology affects moral and social values in society, coupled with the lack of time provided by parents to accompany their children. With a full day school system, it is considered capable of providing a balanced portion of religious-based scientific fields to students. The purpose of the study was to determine management in the implementation of full day school schools. This research method uses a qualitative approach. The results of this study indicate that education planning with a full day school system in Bandung City Elementary School covers the fields of curriculum, teaching staff, infrastructure, students and financing. The curriculum used is basically the same, namely the compulsory content curriculum, local content curriculum, and additional content curriculum, which only distinguishes the division of time allocation and how to reduce subjects so that they are in line between the compulsory content curriculum and the additional curriculum that is a characteristic or superior program in each of these schools. The implementation of education with a full day school system at Elementary School in Bandung City includes the following components: motivation, leadership type and decision-making techniques. The provision of motivation is carried out every day after school hours through upgrading activities to prepare materials and learning media the next day, the principal also conducts weekly coaching, there is also monthly coaching carried out by the foundation. The evaluation system used is divided into daily evaluations, monthly evaluations, quarterly evaluations, and semester evaluations.Keyword: Management, Full Day School, Quality of Education
