Abstract

The advancement of digital technology has brought significant changes to the education system, requiring institutions to fully integrate technological innovations into teaching processes and school management. This article aims to examine innovative strategies in the development of human resources (HR) in education during the digital transformation era through a scoping review method. Literature from various national and international journals (2021–2025) was analyzed to map practices, challenges, and strategies for developing adaptive and competitive educational HR. The findings indicate that innovative strategies include strengthening educators’ digital and pedagogical competencies, utilizing smart technologies such as e-learning, Learning Management Systems (LMS), webinars, as well as AI applications and VR/AR simulations, and fostering a collaborative and adaptive work culture through continuous training. This digital transformation enhances administrative efficiency, internal coordination, learning quality, and 21st-century competencies such as creativity, adaptability, critical thinking, and collaboration. However, implementing these strategies faces multidimensional challenges, including low digital literacy, limited infrastructure, resistance to change, disparities in technology-based pedagogical competencies, and data security risks. This study emphasizes that the development of educational HR in the era of disruption and Society 5.0 requires a systemic approach that combines individual competency enhancement, organizational culture strengthening, adaptive managerial policies, and optimal utilization of smart technologies. The findings provide insights for educational institutions to design innovative, sustainable HR strategies capable of addressing the complexities of 21st-century education.

Abstract

Discipline is a fundamental aspect in the formation of student character that directly impacts academic success and personality. This study aims to describe and analyze in depth the perceptions of teachers and students regarding the role of student management in strengthening discipline at SMPIQu Al Bahjah Batam. This study used a qualitative approach with a case study design. Data were collected through in-depth interviews with the vice principal of student affairs, guidance counselors, homeroom teachers, and students with various levels of discipline. The results show that SMPIQU Al Bahjah implements student management through a planning, implementation, and evaluation process that integrates Islamic values and a points system for achievements and violations. The main findings revealed differences in perceptions between educators and students. Teachers view student management as a strategic instrument for developing character through role models and positive habits. Conversely, although most students accept rules as a means of education, there is a dynamic where students tend to view these policies as formal administrative restrictions that can limit their internal moral awareness. The implications of this research indicate the need for a transformation in student management strategies from a bureaucratic-structural approach to a more humanistic, persuasive, and participatory one. Involving students in regular evaluations of discipline is expected to increase their sense of ownership and align school policies with students' emotional acceptance, thus creating discipline based on genuine awareness.

Abstract

Holistic Islamic religious education for primary school children is an approach that emphasizes the development of students as a whole, covering intellectual, spiritual, emotional, social, moral, and practical skills aspects. This article aims to examine the theoretical foundation of holistic Islamic religious education and its application based on Ki Hajar Dewantara's thoughts on elementary school students. The study is carried out through a conceptual approach by utilizing relevant educational, psychology, and philosophical theories. Religious learning is considered to be verbalistic, memorization-oriented, and lacks integration of cognitive, affective, and psychomotor domains. Holistic education offers solutions through the development of creation, taste, and karsa in an integrated manner. The pedagogical foundation emphasizes active participation, a conducive learning environment, character education, and appreciation for children's uniqueness. The psychological foundation is rooted in the Gestalt theory which views learning as a holistic activity, while the philosophical foundation is influenced by the thought of perennialism and the unity of man with reality. The application of Dewantara's theory is carried out through example, dialogue, and the provision of learning encouragement that is in accordance with the development of students. The findings of the study show that holistic Islamic religious education is relevant to form noble morals, thinking skills, worship discipline, and social responsibility so that students are able to internalize religious teachings in daily life.

Abstract

This study was motivated by the challenges faced by Islamic boarding schools in dealing with the diverse backgrounds of new students, which requires a dynamic curriculum approach. This study aims to analyze the implementation of adaptive curriculum management in response to annual syllabus changes at the I'dadiyah level of the Nurul Jadid Islamic Boarding School. The research method used was a qualitative case study with data collection techniques through in-depth interviews with informants (Coordinator, Education Division, and Teachers), classroom observation, and documentation study. The results showed that adaptive curriculum management was carried out through periodic syllabus evaluations, which were able to increase student active engagement and two-way interaction by up to 60%. The paradigm shift from theoretical to practical-functional material, particularly in the fields of Fiqh, Imla', and Pego, has been proven to reduce the cognitive load and psychological anxiety of students during the adaptation period. The conclusion of this study confirms that the professionalism of pesantren management is reflected in the flexibility of the curriculum, which is oriented towards the needs of students in order to maintain the relevance and quality of education in the modern era.

Abstract

This study aims to systematically review the literature on the internalization of religious values within organizational culture as an effort to create a harmonious work climate in madrasah. Using a systematic literature review (SLR) approach, 15 relevant articles/journals were identified and analyzed based on three clusters of research questions: (Q1) concepts and strategies for internalizing religious values, (Q2) implementation of religious values in madrasah organizational culture, and (Q3) the impact of religious culture on harmonious work climate. Findings indicate that effective internalization requires a multidimensional approach including exemplary behavior (uswah hasanah), habituation, and environmental conditioning. Islamic value-based organizational culture supported by visionary leadership has been proven capable of establishing a conducive, harmonious, and productive work climate. These findings emphasize the importance of integrating modern management with Islamic values for sustainable madrasah quality improvement.

Abstract

Abstract :This article conceptualizes values-based management of facilities and infrastructure in Islamic education by integrating modern management functions with Islamic ethical principles. The study addresses the gap in existing research, which predominantly treats facilities management as a technical-administrative process and gives limited attention to Islamic values as operational management principles. The objective of this study is to formulate a conceptual framework for managing educational facilities and infrastructure in Islamic institutions based on value integration. A qualitative library research approach was employed, drawing on academic books, educational regulations, and peer-reviewed journal articles related to educational management and Islamic education. Data were analyzed through data reduction, thematic categorization, and conceptual synthesis. The findings indicate that the management functions of planning, organizing, actuating, and controlling can be strengthened when grounded in the principles of trustworthiness ( mandate ), efficiency, responsibility, and accountability. Facilities and infrastructure are thus positioned not only as physical learning supports but also as institutional trusts that require ethical and professional governance. The study concludes that integrating Islamic values into each management function provides a more holistic and meaningful framework for managing educational facilities in Islamic education institutions and offers a conceptual reference for future empirical development. Keywords : Values-based Management; Educational Facilities and Infrastructure; Islamic Education.

Abstract

Abstract :The rapid development of Artificial Intelligence (AI) and Big Data has reshaped educational planning in higher education, shifting the focus from mere technology adoption to sociotechnical readiness. This study conceptualizes sociotechnical readiness as the dynamic interaction between technical subsystems, social subsystems, and their alignment in institutional contexts. This research focuses on Islamic religious higher education institutions (PTKIS), a case study of STIT Rakeyan Santang Karawang. This study uses a qualitative approach with a case study design. Data was collected through interviews, observations, and documentation studies of university leaders, as well as academic managers, who were selected deliberately. Data analysis was carried out themattically by referring to the three dimensions of STS, namely technical system, social system, and socio-technical suitability. The results of the study show that technical systems are still at the basic digitalization stage, which is characterized by limited analytics infrastructure, weak data governance, the absence of formal standard operating procedures (SOPs) related to data protection and privacy, and data conditions that are still fragmented on various learning platforms such as Learning Management System (LMS), Google Classroom, and interactive quiz applications. In the social dimension, digital competencies and organizational culture have not been evenly distributed and have not been institutionalized in a sustainable manner. This condition has an impact on the low sociotechnical compatibility between user needs and technological capabilities. This study concludes that the implementation of AI and Big Data-based learning in PTKIS depends on technical social readiness, which requires an educational planning strategy that integrates technical subsystems, social subsystems, and their alignment through the principle of joint optimization within the framework of the Technical Social System (STS), as evidenced by the case of STIT Rakeyan Santang. Keywords: AI, Big Data, Digital Transformation Readiness, Sociotechnical AlignmentAbstrak :Perkembangan pesat Kecerdasan Buatan (AI) dan Big Data telah membentuk kembali perencanaan pendidikan di pendidikan tinggi, mengalihkan fokus dari adopsi teknologi belaka ke kesiapan sosioteknis.

Abstract

This study aims to describe the management of Islamic Spiritual (Rohis) extracurricular activities in internalizing the character of Love for God among students at SMPN 31 Bekasi City. The study is grounded in the need to manage school-based religious activities so that they do not merely become routine programs, but function as a directed process of character formation. This research employed a descriptive qualitative approach with a case study method. Data were collected through observation, semi-structured interviews, and documentation involving the Rohis advisor, student committee, and Rohis members. The data were analyzed using the Miles, Huberman, and Saldana interactive model consisting of data condensation, data display, and conclusion drawing. The analytical framework used George R. Terry's management functions, namely planning, organizing, actuating, and controlling, and Ratna Megawangi's character education theory, especially the pillar of love for God and all His creations. The findings show that Rohis planning is carried out through work programs based on worship habituation, Islamic studies, mentoring, and social activities. Organizing is implemented through role distribution among the advisor, student committee, and members. Implementation becomes a space for habituation, role modeling, and direct experience in developing gratitude, compassion, and loyalty. Supervision is conducted through attendance records, daily worship journals, activity evaluation, and direct guidance. This study confirms that the internalization of Love for God in Rohis does not occur automatically, but is shaped by systematic and sustainable extracurricular management. Keywords: extracurricular management, Rohis, George R.
