Abstract

This study aimed to produce teaching materials in the form of worksheet writing descriptive text based on ecology that could be used by students and teachers in class VII MTs Muqimus Sunnah Palembang. This study was a research and development (Collaboration Development) which collaborated to Jolly and Bolitho development model and development model of Dick, Carey, and Carey into eight steps, were: (1) identification of the need for teaching materials, (2) exploration of material needs, (3) contextual realization, (4) realization of pedagogics, (5) expert review, (7) revising learning, and (8) designing and conducting formative evaluations. The worksheet prototype of development outcomes consisted of: front cover, introduction, table of contents, study instructions, title, basic competencies, indicators, learning objectives, materials, tasks, exercises, assessment rubrics, and bibliography. To know the validity, practicality, and potential effects of worksheet developed, validation test by expert/expert and three stages of formative evaluation using questionnaire (questionnaire), interview, and test. Based on the validation of three aspects (the content of the substance of content/material, language, presentation, and graphic), worksheet was categorized as a very good or very valid. Based on the practicality test through on-one evaluation (onetooneevaluation) and group testing (smallgroup), worksheet was categorized as very good or very practical. From the field test results (fieldtest) through pretest and posttest, there was an average increase in the learner value of 17.95 so that LKPD could be categorized as effective or have potential effects for learners.

Abstract

This study entitled “The Development of Physical Education Learning Model For Elementary School On The Basis of Traditional Sport As A Local Wisdom” aims to produce Physical Education models that valid, practical, and effective. Methods in this research is research-based development (Research-based development) or Research and Development. The results of the experiments for the validity of the small group experiments of teacher obtained the average of the answers by percentage (84%), whereas the large group trial of the prevalence rate obtained an average answer with percentage (76%), then the product has good category validity. Level of product effectiveness seen from aspect of motivation, result of small group test show relation aspect of motivation equal to 82% and large group trial is equal to 83% from motivation aspect, hence product result show level of effectiveness of good category. the development of physical education learning based of traditional sports as a local wisdom given to the learners has been effective so that it can be implemented in the application of physical education education.

Abstract

Physic electronic module inquiry-based in the main subject of temperature and heat valid, practical and effectiveness to the learning result for senior high school were successfully developed. The research method used development research with the Hannafin and Pack model and Tessmer evaluation. Stages performed in this study include the planning stage, the design stage, and the development stage. In the evaluation phase using Tessmer's evaluation, which consists of 5 stages: self-evaluation, expert evaluation, one to one evaluation, small group evaluation and field test. The subjects of the study were students of science class XI Muhammadiyah Senior High School 3 Palembang. The validity of this electronic module is assessed by four experts namely material experts, media experts, software experts and design learning experts. Expert or validator results obtained by 0.78 from material experts, 0.82 from media experts, from software experts 0.87, and 0.75 from design learning experts, so that developed electronic modules are valid and can be tested as suggested. The practicality of electronic modules can be seen from the quantitative assessment of learners from one to one evaluation trial consisting of 3 (three) students who have high ability, moderate and low. Then a small group evaluation trial consisting of 9 (nine) students. The average result of the quantitative assessment of the practicality of the electronic module is examined in one-to-one evaluation and small group evaluation of 0.84 with very high category, so it can be concluded that practical module is very practical in learning. The effectiveness of this electronic module is apparent from the learning outcomes which show an increase with N-gain of 0,66 which is included. This shows that physics electronic modules inquiry-based on temperature and heat materials that have been developed have effectiveness to learners' learning outcomes.

Abstract

The objectives of this study were to find out whether or not: 1) there was any significant difference in descriptive writing achievement between the eighth grade students of MTs N 1 Palembang who were taught by using dialogue journal and those who were not and 2) whether or not there was any significant difference in descriptive writing achievement before and after the eighth grade students of MTs N 1 Palembang were taught by using dialogue journal. There were 60 students of eighth grade taken as the sample. They were divided into control and experimental groups which both of the groups were 30 students. The technique of selecting the sample was purposive sampling method. In collecting the data, both groups were given pretest and posttest. The data were analyzed by using Paired Sample t- Test and Independent sample t- Test. The results obtained from Paired Sample t- Test showed that there was a significant difference in students’ writing achievement before and after the students were taught by using dialogue journal since the ????-value was lower than 0.05 (0.000 < 0.05). The results obtained from Independent Sample t- Test of the posttest in both experimental and control groups showed that there was a significant difference in descriptive writing achievement between the students who were taught by using dialogue journal and those who were not as the ????-value lower than 0.05 (0.000 < 0.05). So, dialogue journal was effective to be applied in teaching descriptive writing for the eighth grade students of MTs N 1 Palembang.

Abstract

This study aims to produce an effective, valid, and practical learning model. This research method is Research and Development (R & D). The data were collected by questionnaires from teacher evaluation and questionnaires by students. The results of the experiments for the validity of the small group test were obtained on average percentage (84%), whereas in the large group trial showed the prevalence rate obtained by the average percentage (78%), the product had good category validity. To see the practicality of the results of the students' questionnaires after conducting the trials, small group trials got an average percentage of 78.8% and large group trials were 81% and thus the practicality level was good. To see the effectiveness of the product from the aspect of motivation, the results of small group trials show the relationship of motivation aspect is 70.8% and large group trials are 71.2% of the cognitive, affective, and psychomotor aspects. From these results, the tested product tried to show the effectiveness of the good category. Thus the development of sprint learning model based game in elementary school has been effective so that it can apply it in the learning of physical education.

Abstract

The purpose of this research is to develop a product in the form of variation of physical exercise model of football sport for beginner athlete. The method used in this research is the method of research and development which means developing a product or creating a new product. The population used is all students who follow football extracurricular in junior high school number 1 Palembang amounted to 17 people. Data collection technique in this research is pretest and posttest method by performing test before and after applying treatment of variation of exercise model. Technique of data analysis in this research use T-test. Based on result of output by using SPSS 16 that mean value from 17 tester that do test, test result before given model of exercise is 18.71 second and after given treatment with variation of model exercise 15.35 second, it means that the average value achieved by the speed increase in the time record. Based on the results of this study, it can be concluded that there are significant differences before and after being given treatment variation model physical exercise of football.

Abstract

This research is for athletes novice especially sepak takraw sport. The number of samplestaken as many as 20 athletes novice at elementary school number 12 Talang KelapaBanyuasin. The development is done by using the basic needs analysis method of sepaktakraw, initial product design, expert validation, design improvement, small group trial, product revisions, large group trials, product revision and the final product. Techniques ofcollecting data using observation guidelines, questionnaire, and validity testing using t-Test (Pos Test and Post Test one group design). The result of pre test of big group ofsoccer technique through t test got result of T count = 15,118 with Df = 20 at significancelevel 5% (T table = 1,72472), because value of T count ˃ T table (15,118 ˃ 1,72472) pthis means the value of T test results arithmetic greater than T table. while the result ofpost test of T test in big group got result of T test count = 24,372 through significance 5%(T table = 1,72472) hence can be concluded there is increasing ability of soccer techniquefrom result of pre test to post test have difference of = 9,254 through significance of 5% Ttable = 1.72472.
