Abstract

The purpose of this study is to explain the effect of abusive supervision on employee silence with perceptions of organizational politics and organizational justice as mediator. The population of this study was all employees of a developing textile and garment company in the Semarang District. The sampling method used a multi-stage random sampling with a sample of 199 respondents. Methods of data collection used observation, interviews and questionnaires that were measured using a Likert scale. Methods of analysis of this study used the software of WarpPLS 6.0. The results show that abusive supervision and perceptions of organizational politics have a positive effect on employee silence. abusive supervision has a positive effect on perceptions of organizational politics, but abusive supervision has a negative effect on organizational justice. In addition, organizational justice has a negative effect on employee silence. Perceptions of organizational politics and organizational justice as a partial mediating role on the effect of abusive supervision on employee silence. Suggestions for the company that the company can reduce the high of employee silence with giving treatment employees fairly and supervisor should improve its supervision system.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the direct indirect influence of sales promotion, hedonic shopping motivation, fashion involvement and positive emotion as an intervening variable on impulse buying. The population of this research is customer of House of Smith Semarang. The number of samples is 100 respondents with incidental sampling technique through likert scale questionnaire. Data analysis using descriptive percentage and path analysis. The results show that sales promotion, hedonic shopping motivation, fashion involvement service affect impulse buying and positive emotion influence impulse buying and mediate the influence of sales promotion, hedonic shopping motivation, fashion involvement.

Abstract

Now, internet and social media impact on many human life aspects, such as consumer behaviour on traveling in Indonesia. This research aims to exemine the influence of electronic word of mouth and destination image on visit decision. This research also proves the influence of visit intention as an intervening variable. Population are tourists of Panjang Island Jepara. The sampling technique used was purposive sampling technique, the respondents was 116. The data collection method used was questionnaire method. The data analysis used was path analysis. The research variables are electronic word of mouth, destination image, visit decision, and visit intention. Results showed that destination image had a positive and significant influence on visit decision. Meanwhile, electronic word of mouth had no significant influence on visit decision. Results also showed that visit intention had a role as an intervening variable between electronic word of mouth and destination image on visit decision.

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to know the effect of place branding, promotion and attributes of tourism products to the decision to visit through the image of the destination. The population in this study is the visitors of Teluk  Penyu beach tourism destination of Cilacap regency. The number of samples in this study were 150 respondents with Accidental sampling technique. Data analysis using Path Analysis with SPSS program version 21, where variables used include place branding (X1), promotion (X2), tourism product attribute (X3), destination image (Z1), Decision to visit (Y1). The result of the research found that all hypothesis of direct effect proposed is accepted where the significance value is <0,050, whereas for the intervening test obtained the total value of indirect effect> direct influence. This proves the hypothesis both directly and indirectly in this study are all accepted. Conclusion the better place branding, promotion and tourism product attributes can affect the image of the destination that will impact on the decision to visit.

Abstract

This research aims to know the role of innovative work behavior mediation and adaptability on the relationship of humor and narcissistic personality on the innovative output. The population in this study was all owners of SME in the Semarang city. The data collection method were observation, interview, and questioners. The sampling technique was multiple random sampling. The sample size was 201 SME actors. Methods of data analysis applied in this research were descriptive analysis, validity and reliability test, and hypothesis test. The data analysis was done by using WarpPLS software version 6.0. The results showed that humor and narcissistic personality increases innovative work behavior, adaptability and innovative output. In addition, innovative work behavior and adaptability also had a positive and significant influence on innovative output. Furthermore, this research found that the effect of humor and narcissistic personality on innovative output can be mediated by innovative work behavior and adaptability.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to examine the direct effect of satisfaction, variety seeking and alternative attractiveness on switching behavior through switching intentions. The population in this study are visitors to the CafĂ© Sisemoet Ungaran in May 2018. The technique of  sampling used was incidental sampling with 115 respondents. The data collection included questionnaires, documentation, and path analysis as the method of the data analysis. Data analysis is done by using partial test and path analysis test with help of SPSS 21 for Windows.The results showed that satisfaction has direct effect negatively and significantly toward switching behavior, while variety seeking and attractiveness alternatives have a positive and significant direct influence on switching behavior. The results of path analysis test proved that satisfaction, variety seeking, and attractiveness alternatives have  indirect effect toward switching behavior through switching intentions.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to examine the effect of job stress and leader-member exchange on job performance with employee engagement as a mediating variable. The population of this study were all employees of PTPN IX Kebun Getas Afdeling Assinan Kempul. The samples used were 70 Employees. The sampling technique used saturated sample technique. Data collection method used is the method of observation, interview method, and questionnaire method as measured by Likert scale. Analysis of data using multiple regression analysis and path analysis with SPSS program version 23. The results showed that there is no influence job stress on job performance; There is influence job stress on employee engagement; There is influence of leader-member exchange on job performance and employee engagement; There is influence of employee engagement on job performance. The results of this study also show that employee engagement is able to mediate job stress on performance; And employee engagement able to mediate leader-member exchange on job performance employees of PTPN IX Kebun Getas Afdeling Assinan-Kempul.

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to know the effect of intellectual capital to profitability of banking companies. The sample of this research is 35 banking companies listed in Indonesia Stock Exchange 2013-2016. The method of data analysis using multiple regression analysis. The result showed the regression coefficients variable VACA is as much as 2.632 and sig score 0.010; regression coefficient variable is as much as 4.256 and sig score 0.000; regression coefficient variable is as much as -1.148 and sig score 0.253. The concusion of this research is VACA and VAHU have positif dan significant effect on profitability of banking companies, and STVA has negative and no significant effect on profitability of banking companies.

Abstract

The study is aimed at examining the effect of market orientation, learning orientation, innovation and competitive advantage on marketing performance. Populations in this research are 41 which 3, 4, and 5 star-rated hotels in Semarang City. The numbers of samples in this research are 120 respondents by using purposive sampling technique. Methods of data collection are using documentation and questionnaires. Data analysis is using Structural Equation Modeling (SEM). The result of this research show that companies which apply learning orientation, innovation and competitive advantage can improve marketing performance, but for market orientation has no effect on marketing performance.

Abstract

The purpose of this research is to analyze the effect of service quality, destination image and perceived value on visitor satisfaction Owabong on Purbalingga Waterpark. The sample size of 107 respondents Consists with an incidental sampling trough Likert scale questionnaire. Analysis of the data using descriptive percentage and multiple linear regression with SPSS series 23. The result Showed that service quality, destination image and perceived value has a positive and significant impact on visitor satisfaction. The conclusion of this research is proved that the better service quality will Provide Increase of visitor satisfaction, the better of the destination image are owned will Increase of visitor satisfaction and the higher perceived value of visitors will increase is the visitor satisfaction in OWABONG Waterpark Purbalingga.
