Abstract

Abstrak ___________________________________________________________________ Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengkaji proses pengembangan dan keefektifan media DGBL pada pembelajaran sistem reproduksi manusia di SMP. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian Research and Development (R&D). Ada dua tahapan dalam penelitian ini, yaitu tahap proses pengembangan media DGBL (identifikasi potensi dan masalah, pengumpulan data, desain produk, validasi desain, revisi desain, uji coba skala kecil, dan revisi produk) dan uji efektivitas (uji pemakaian, revisi produk, dan produk akhir). Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa 80,39% siswa nilainya≥ 75; 86,27% siswa minatnya baik;dan 82,35% siswa sangat aktif. Simpulan penelitian ini adalah media DGBLefektif dan layak digunakan sebagai media pembelajaran pada materi sistem reproduksi manusia di SMP.   Abstract ___________________________________________________________________ The study aimed to analyze the process of development and effectiveness of DGBL media on human’s reproduction materials at Junior High Schools. This was Research and Development (R&D) work. There were  two steps in conducting this research, the first one was the process of developing DGBL media (potential and problem identification, data collection, product design, design validation, limited scale trial, and product revising). The second one was its effectiveness tests (test of use, product revising, dan final product). In this  study the effectiveness was measured  by  more than 75% of total students  who gained grade score ≥ 75, who had  good interest in learning, and who were very active. According to the result of the study the DGBL media was effective and feasible as  the learning media in the human’s reproduction material at  Junior High School..

Abstract

Abstract The aim of this study to describe the effectiveness of school environment utilization as learning resource used post to post method in matter classification of living things on SMP. The method in this study was pre-experimental with one shoot case study design. Population are entire VII class in SMP. The sample were determined by convinience sampling that were class VII A, VII C and VII G. The results showed that classical student’s activity was very active. Discussion and ask question indicators is very active while the indicator answered questions and express opinions included sufficient active. Cognitive learning outcomes from the average student’s worksheet and posttest value showed 96% students reached KKM.  Student’s worksheet value more dominant to determine the final value than the posttest value. Affective learning outcomes (attitude) showed curiosity get the highest percentage while the lowest was communicative. Classification activity showed student’s ability in classification step is very good, while the ability to make conclusions only sufficient criteria. The results of teachers and student’s opinion showed both of them were interest in application of the post to post method. Based on the analysis and discussion, it can be concluded that the school environment utilization as learning resource used post to post method in matter classification of living things on SMP are effective toward activities and student learning outcomes. Instruments of student’s activity need to be made more specific by classifying the type of student’s questions to avoid incompability of data Abstrak Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan efektivitas pemanfaatan lingkungan sekolah sebagai sumber belajar menggunakan metode post to post pada materi klasifikasi makhluk hidup di SMP. Metode yang digunakan pada penelitian ini adalah pre-experimental dengan desain one shoot case study. Populasi penelitian seluruh siswa kelas VII SMP N 1 Petanahan. Sampel penelitian ditentukan secara convinience sampling yaitu kelas VII A, VII C dan VII G. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa aktivitas siswa secara klasikal berada pada kriteria sangat aktif. Indikator aktivitas kegiatan diskusi dan intensitas bertanya termasuk sangat aktif, sedangkan indikator menjawab pertanyaan dan mengemukakan pendapat pada kriteria cukup aktif. Hasil belajar kognitif menunjukkan nilai akhir siswa dari rata-rata nilai LKS dan posttest menunjukkan 96% siswa tuntas KKM. Nilai LKS lebih dominan menentukan nilai akhir daripada nilai posttest. Hasil belajar afektif menunjukkan sikap rasa ingin tahu memperoleh persentase tertinggi sedangkan yang terendah adalah komunikatif. Kegiatan klasifikasi menunjukkan kemampuan siswa pada urutan langkah klasifikasi sangat baik, sedangkan kemampuan mengambil kesimpulan hanya pada kriteria cukup baik. Hasil analisis tanggapan menunjukkan guru dan siswa tertarik terhadap penerapan metode post to post. Berdasarkan hasil analisis dan pembahasan dapat disimpulkan bahwa pemanfaatan lingkungan sekolah sebagai sumber belajar menggunakan metode post to post pada materi klasifikasi makhluk hidup di SMP efektif terhadap aktivitas dan hasil belajar siswa. Instrumen aktivitas siswa perlu dibuat lebih spesifik dengan mengelompokkan jenis pertanyaan yang diajukan siswa untuk menghindari ketidaksesuaian data yang diperoleh.

Abstract

Abstract ___________________________________________________________________________________The purpose of this study is to know the relationship between twitter as online self assessment to student readiness in digestive system learning. This study is pre experimental research with one shot case study design. The population all of student VIIIth class in SMP 1 & 2 Pekalongan.  Sample determined by purposive sampling. Number of sample are 120 students, consist of 2 classes from SMP N 1 and 2 class from SMP N 2 pekalongan. Research data in the form of online self assessment, final score, score in digestive system practicum, student respond, and teacher respond. Relationship between online self assessment to student readiness in digestive system learning is analyzed by pearson correlation testin p= 0.0001. Student and teacher respond are collected by questionnaires and interviews. Result of this study showed that between online self assessment and final score have a significant correlation with r= 0,868. There is a significant correlation between self assessment and assessment practicum report by student with r= 0,964. Self assessment and assessment practicum report by techer showed by r = 0,919. Student and teacher showed good respond with twitter as online self assessment. The resume of this study is twitter as online self assessment can support student readiness in digestive system learning. Abstrak ___________________________________________________________________________________   Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui hubungan pemanfataan jejaring sosial twitter sebagai self assessment online terhadap kesiapan siswa dalam pembelajaran sistem pencernaan. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian Pre Eksperimental dengan design one-shot case study design. Populasi Penelitian adalah seluruh siswa kelas VIII SMP N 1 dan 2 Pekalongan. Sampel ditentukan secara purposive sample. Jumlah sampel 120 siswa, terdiri dari 2 kelas  SMP N 1 dan 2 kelas SMP N 2 Pekalongan. Data penelitian berupa self assessment online, nilai akhir, nilai laporan praktikum sistem pencernaan, tanggapan siswa dan tanggapan guru. Hubungan self assessment online terhadap kesiapan siswa dalam pembelajaran sistem pencernaan dianalisis menggunakan uji korelasi pearson pada  p= 0,0001. Tanggapan siswa dan guru ditentukan menggunakan angket dan wawancara. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa,self assessment dan nilai akhir memiliki hubungan yang signifikan dengan r = 0,868. Terdapat  hubungan yang signifikan antara self assessment dan  penilaian laporan praktikum oleh siswa dengan r = 0,964.  Self assessment dan penilaian laporan praktikum oleh guru ditunjukkan dengan r = 0,919. Tanggapan siswa dan guru terhadap pemanfaatan jejaring sosial twitter sebagai self assessment online sangat baik dan positif. Simpulan penelitian ini adalah pemanfaatan jejaring sosial twitter sebagai self assessment online dapat mendukung kesiapan siswa dalam pembelajaran sistem pencernaan. .

Abstract

Dalam rangka mewujudkan cita-cita pendidikan diperlukan pembelajaran yang tepat. Kenyataan di lapangan pembelajaran belum berpusat pada siswa. Hasil wawancara guru dan siswa diperoleh hasil belajar siswa rendah dikarenakan siswa kurang antusias dan berperan aktif dalam proses pembelajaran. Kondisi tersebut dapat diupayakan melalui model pembelajaran Team Games Tournament (TGT) dengan Quick and Smart yang mengharuskan siswa untuk belajar dan memahami materi. Penelitian ini bertujuan mengetahui efektivitas TGT dengan Quick and Smart terhadap aktivitas dan hasil belajar materiSistem Pertahanan Tubuh di SMA Negeri 2 Salatiga. Penelitian ini menggunakan desain pretest-postest control group design. Sampel yang digunakan adalah kelas XI IPA 3 (kelas eksperimen) dan XI IPA 2 (kelas kontrol). Pengambilan sampel menggunakan teknik cluster random sampling. Hasil penelitian menunjukan aktivitas kelas eksperimen lebih aktif daripada kelas kontrol, lebih dari 80% aktivitas siswa kelas eksperimen tinggi, rata-rata posttest kelas eksperimen lebih baik daripada kelas kontrol,skor N-gain kelas eksperimen tinggi, tercapai ketuntasan klasikal yaitu ≥80% siswa kelas eksperimen memperoleh nilai postest ≥75. Hasil ini diperkuat dengan tanggapan siswa dan guru sangat baik terhadap model pembelajaran yang diterapkan. Berdasarkan penelitian ini dapat disimpulkan bahwa TGT dengan Quick and Smart efektif meningkatkan aktivitas dan hasil belajar siswa materi Sistem Pertahanan Tubuh. Reality showed that learning process has not been student-centered. Interviews of teachers and students explained low student learning outcomes were because students were less enthusiastic and less actively involved in learning process. The condition could be improved by Team Games Tournament (TGT) learning model with Quick and Smart which requires students to learn and understand the material. This study aimed to determine effectiveness of TGT with Quick and Smart to Immune System concept learning activities and learningout comes in SMA Negeri 2 Salatiga. This study was done by pretest-posttest control group design. Samples were XI IPA 3 (experimental class) and XI IPA 2 (control group). Samples were taken by random cluster sampling. The results showed that experiment class was more active than control class, more than 80% experimental class’ students activity was high, experimental class’ posttest average was better than control class, N-gain of experimental’s score was high, more than 80% of students posttest of experimental group reached ≥75. These results were confirmed by students and teachers very well’s response to learning model applied. Based on this research, it can be concluded that TGT with Quick and Smart was effectively increase Immune System concept’s sudents activity and learning outcomes.

Abstract

The purpose of the research is knowing learning cooperative of combination effectivity time token with picture puzzle in material system of blood circulary at Junior High School of 2 Gabus. The population in the research is VIII grade of student Junior High School 2 Gabus, the research samples are VIIIA, VIIIB and VIIIE grade was taken with random sampling technique. The research design wich used is one shot case study. The result of research is showing that 83% student actived in class studying, and the result of 86,56% styudent reached KKM≥75. The other hand, the average of student motivation reached 95,7%. The concluded is effective to apply in the material system of blood circulatory. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui efektivitas kombinasi pembelajaran kooperatif time token dengan picture puzzle pada materi sistem peredaran darah di SMPN 2 Gabus. Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah siswa kelas VIII SMPN 2 Gabus, sampel penelitian yaitu siswa kelas VIIIA, VIIIB dan VIIIE diambil dengan teknik random sampling. Rancangan penelitian yang digunakan adalah One Shot Case Study.  Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa 83% siswa aktif dalam pembelajaran dan hasil belajar siswa 86,56% telah melampaui KKM ≥75. Rata-rata motivasi siswa mencapai 95,7%. Berdasar hasil penelitian dapat disimpulkan kombinasi pembelajaran kooperatif tipe time token dengan picture puzzle efektif diterapkan pada materi sistem peredaran darah.

Abstract

AbstractBased on the preliminary observation, it was known that teachers have not used inquiry based learning of Digestive System concept worksheet and student’s critical thinking skills were low. The aims of this research were to determine the feasibility of the student worksheet in the identification digestive process of ruminant. Also, it was to measure the effectiveness of student worksheet for the student learning achievement. The critical thinking skills of Digestive System concept was measured as well. The study was a R&D research, product development trials was an experiment method with one-shot case study design. Large-scale field-testing in this research was class XI IPA1 and XI IPA2 in Islamic Senior High School Ta’alumul Huda Bumiayu. Result of student worksheet development in terms of its linguistic aspect, presentation aspect, and contens aspect was very feasible criteria and display aspect was feasible criteria. The average classical completeness of students class XI IPA1 reached 83.75% and class XI IPA2 was 90.9%. The average percentage classical for the critical thinking skills of students class XI IPA1 and XI IPA 2 were very high criteria. It was concluded that student worksheet practical identification digestive process of ruminant animal based guided inquiry was feasible and effectively applied for learning of Digestive System concept.Abstrak Berdasarkan observasi awal diketahui bahwa guru belum pernah menggunakan LKS berbasis inkuiri dalam pembelajaran sistem pencernaan makanan, sehingga keterampilan berpikir siswa masih rendah. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui kelayakan dan efektivitas LKS praktikum identifikasi proses pencernaan hewan ruminansia berbasis guided inquiry dan mengukur keefektivan LKS terhadap hasil belajar kognitif serta keterampilan berpikir kritis dalam pembelajaran sistem pencernaan makanan. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode penelitian Research and Development, uji coba produk pengembangan menggunakan metode eksperimen dengan desain one-shot case study. Uji skala luas dalam penelitian adalah siswa kelas XI IPA1 dan XI IPA 2 di SMA Islam Ta’alumul Huda Bumiayu. Hasil pengembangan LKS, aspek kebahasaan memperoleh kriteria sangat layak, aspek  penyajian memperoleh kriteria sangat layak, aspek kegrafikan memperoleh kriteria layak, dan aspek isi memperoleh kriteria sangat layak. Rata-rata ketuntasan klasikal siswa kelas XI IPA 1 mencapai 83,75% dan kelas XI IPA 2 sebesar 90,9%. Rata-rata keterampilan berpikir siswa secara klasikal kelas XI IPA 1 dan  XI IPA 2 mencapai kriteria sangat tinggi. Berdasarkan hal tersebut disimpulkan bahwa LKS berbasis praktikum identifikasi proses pencernaan hewan ruminansia berbasis guided inquiry layak dan efektif diterapkan dalam pembelajaran sistem pencernaan makanan.

Abstract

The purpose of this research is developing and knowing assess the feasibility of learning media digestive of food system with virtual laboratory in Junior High School. The research was conducted at Departement of Biology Semarang State University and Junior High School 13 Magelang with research design and development (Research and Development /R&D). The Product usage test samples taken by convenience sampling method. Assessment results matter experts and instructional media specialist showed a digestive system media with a virtual laboratory is very fit for use as a media of learning. Teachers responded that the media is very supportive to learning activities of biology. Students in product testing and product usage testing responded very well to the criteria for the use of instructional digestive system media accompanied virtual laboratory. The trial results showed a classical learning outcomes students achieve 86.60%  KKM ≥75. Based on the results of the research study media of digestive system accompanied virtual laboratory fit for use as a media of learning biology in Junior High School.Tujuanpenelitianiniadalahmengembangkandanmengetahuikelayakan media pembelajaransistempencernaanmakanandisertaivirtual laboratory di SMP. Abstract

Metode dan media pembelajaran merupakan komponen penting pada proses pembelajaran guna mewujudkan suasana belajar efektif dan efisien sehingga siswa dapat lebih bertanggungjawab, disiplin, percaya diri, memiliki rasa ingin tahu yang tinggi dan memiliki motivasi belajar yang tinggi guna mendapatkan hasil belajar secara optimal. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan aktivitas dan hasil belajar siswa pada pembelajaran model Student Team Achievement Divission materi macam gerak tumbuhan di SMP N 40 Semarang. Jenis penelitian ini adalah Pre-experimental design dengan desain penelitian one shoot case study. Populasi seluruh kelas VIII sebanyak 256 siswa dengan sampel sebanyak 1 kelas. Pengambilan sampel dengan teknik purposive sampling. Metode pengumpulan data yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah metode test, metode angket, dan metode observasi. Data aktivitas diukur dengan lembar observasi aktivitas siswa sedangkan data hasil belajar diperoleh dari nilai tes, nilai LDS dan nilai TTS. Hasil analisis data menunjukkan bahwa seluruh siswa telah mencapai kriteria aktif (optimal ≥85) yaitu mencapai 100%, sedangkan ketuntasan klasikal dan siswa yang memperoleh hasil belajar optimal secara berturut-turut yaitu sebesar 88% (28 siswa) dan 57% (16 siswa). Data kinerja guru pertemuan I dan II berturut-turut 87,5% (sangat baik) dan 91,6% serta data tanggapan siswa dengan kriteria tanggapan sangat baik sebesar 78% (25 dari 32 siswa). Hasil penelitian menyimpulkan bahwa penerapan desain pembelajaran model STAD mampu mengaktifkan dan meningkatkan hasil belajar siswa di SMP N 40 Semarang. Methods and instructional media is an important component in the learning process in order to achieve effective and efficient learning environment so that students can be more responsible, disciplined, confident, curious high and have a high motivation to learn in order to obtain optimal learning results. This research aim to descriptived  the activity and student learning outcomes in learning models Student Team Achievement Divission kinds of motion plant material at SMP N 40 Semarang. This research is a Pre-experimental design type  one shoot case study. The population of the entire class VIII as many as 256 students with a sample of one class. Sampling with purposive sampling technique. Data collection methods used in this study is a test, questionnaire, and observation method. Activity data measured by student activity observation sheet while learning outcomes data obtained from the test scores, grades LDS and TTS value. Analysis of the data showed that all students have reached the criteria of active (optimal ≥85) which reached 100%, while the classical completeness and students who obtain results optimal learning in a row at 88% ( 28 students) and 57% (16 students). Teacher performance data gathering I and II respectively 87.5% (excellent) and 91.6% as well as student response data with a very good response criteria at 78% (25 of 32 students). Conclude that the instructional design applied STAD model is able to activate and improve results for students at SMPN 40 Semarang.
