Abstract

Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk: (1) mengembangkan modul materi ekosistem dengan pendekatan SETS di SMP Negeri 5 Semarang, (2) mengetahui kelayakan modul materi ekosistem dengan pendekatan SETS berdasarkan standar penilaian buku teks BSNP, (3) menguji keefektifan modul materi ekosistem dengan pendekatan SETS terhadap hasil belajar siswa, dan (4) mengetahui keterterapan modul materi ekosistem dengan pendekatan SETS dalam pembelajaran. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian Research and Development dengan desain penelitian pre-test post-test control group design. Hasil validasi pakar menunjukkan kelayakan modul yang dikembangkan memperoleh rata-rata sebesar 81,93% dengan kriteria sangat layak. Hasil uji t diperoleh thitung sebesar 3,896 sehingga dapat dinyatakan bahwa ada perbedaan yang signifikan antara kelas eksperimen dan kelas kontrol Sedangkan hasil tanggapan guru memperoleh presentase sebesar 84% dan hasil tanggapan siswa memperoleh presentase sebesar 90,59% yang keduanya termasuk dalam kriteria sangat dapat diterapkan. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian dapat disimpulkan bahwa: (1) modul materi ekosistem dengan pendekatan SETS terdiri dari bagian pendahuluan, bagian isi, dan bagian penutup, (2) modul sangat layak berdasarkan standar penilaian buku teks BSNP, (3) modul dapat efektif meningkatkan hasil belajar siswa, dan (4) modul sangat dapat diterapkan dalam pembelajaran  This research is aimed to: (1) develop an ecosystem module with SETS approach in SMP Negeri 5 Semarang, (2) identify the feasibility of ecosystem module with SETS approach based on assessment standard textbooks of BSNP, (3) test the effectiveness of the ecosystem module with SETS approach toward student learning outcomes, and (4) identify the application of ecosystem module with SETS approach to learning. This study is a Research and Development with the design of pre-test post-test control group design. The results demonstrate the feasibility of expert validation modules developed to obtain an average of 81.93% with a very decent criteria. Results obtained t test of 3.896 so that it can be stated that there are significant differences between the experimental class and control class, while the results of the responses of teachers to obtain a percentage of 84% and the responses of students to obtain a percentage of 90.59% which are both included in the criteria so can be applied. Based on the results of this study concluded that: (1) the module material ecosystem with SETS approach consists of the introduction, part of the contents, and the concluding part, (2) the module very feasible based on the assessment standard textbooks of BSNP, (3) the modules can effectively improve learning outcomes students, and (4) modules can be applied in learning.

Abstract

Abstrak ___________________________________________________________________ Tujuan Penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui apakah pembelajaran sistem reproduksi manusia berbasis edutainment dengan tutor sebaya efektif diterapkan di SMP Teuku Umar Semarang. Rancangan penelitian yang digunakan adalah experimental design, dengan desain group-post- tes-only design. Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah  siswa kelas IX SMP Teuku Umar Semarang yang berjumlah 244 siswa. Sampel diambil 2 kelas yaitu kelas IX-3 (eksperimen) dan IX-2 (kontrol) dengan teknik pengambilan sampel secara “Purposive sampling”. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa hasil belajar siswa 97% telah melampaui KKM ≥70. Rata- rata aktivitas siswa mencapai 82% siswa aktif dalam pembelajaran. Rata-rata aktivitas tutor sebaya mencapai 90% (sangat tinggi) dalam pembelajaran. Siswa dan guru memberikan tanggapan positif terhadap  pembelajaran sistem reproduksi manusia berbasis edutainment dengan tutor sebaya. Sehingga dapat disimpulkan bahwa pembelajaran berbasis edutainment dengan tutor sebaya efektif diterapkan pada materi sistem reproduksi manusia di SMP Teuku Umar Semarang.     Abstract ___________________________________________________________________ The aim of this research was to know the effectiveness of human reproductive system learning based on edutainment by peer fasilitator. This research used experimental design group posttest only types. Population of this research were student of IX grades from SMP Teuku Umar Semarang (244 student). Samples selected by purposive sampling methods, IX-3 for experimental class and IX-2 for control class. The result shown that student achievement was 97% fulfilled of KKM ≥ 70. The average of the students activities in learning was 82% active. Peer fasilitators activities average was 90% (very high). Teachers and student gives positive responses for learning in the human reproductive system topic based on edutainment by peer fasilitator. Conclution of this research was the learning bayed on edutainment by peer fasilitator can be applied on the human circulatory systems lesson at SMP Teuku Umar Semarang.

Abstract

Abstract The purpose of this research is to gain an overview of the question interaction pattern between teacher and student in Biology learning on ecosystem concept. This research is descriptive research. Sample of this research is VII C, VII H, and VII I class as much as 112 students at 12 Junior High School Bandung 2013-2014. The result that in learning process, the question from teacher is much more than the question from student. That was the question from teacher as much as 86% and the question from student just 14% from 76 totality question. Question distribution between 3 class, two class has the evenly distribution in every of corner class, that is VII C class which teached by practice teacher and VII I class which teached by professional teacher. The cognitive level question that appears in the class which teached by practice teacher are C1, C2, C3, C4 and C5. And cognitive level question that appears in the class which teached by professional teacher are C1, C2, C3, and C4. Asking answer interaction pattern that found in class which teached by professional teacher has 3 patterns, those are pattern A, pattern C, and pattern E. And class which teached by practice teacher has all of 5 asking answer interaction patterns.   Abstrak Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk memperoleh gambaran pola interaksi antara guru dan siswa dalam pembelajaran biologi pada konsep ekosistem. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian deskriptif. Sampel yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah kelas VIIC, VIIH, dan VII I di  SMPN 12 Bandung 2013-2014. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa dalam proses pembelajaran pertanyaan yang diajukan guru lebih banyak dibandingkan pertanyaan yang diajukan siswa, yaitu pertanyaan yang diajukan oleh guru sebesar 86% dan pertanyaan yang diajukan oleh siswa hanya sebesar 14% dari keseluruhan pertanyaan yang berjumlah 76 buah. Distribusi sebaran pertanyaan, dua kelas diantaranya memiliki distribusi yang merata ke setiap sudut kelas, yaitu kelas VII C yang dimbing oleh guru PPL dan kelas VII I yang dibimbing oleh guru Pamong. Jenjang kognitif pertanyaan yang muncul di kelas yang dibimbing oleh guru PPL adalah pertanyaan C1, C2, C3, C4 dan C5. Sedangkan jenjang kognitif pertanyaan yang muncul di kelas yang dimbing oleh guru Pamong adalah pertanyaan C1, C2, C3, dan C4. Pola interaksi tanya jawab yang ditemukan di kelas bimbingan guru Pamong memiliki tiga pola, yaitu pola A, pola C, dan pola E. Kelas yang dibimbing oleh guru PPL memiliki keseluruhan lima pola interaksi tanya jawab.

Abstract

Abstract _____________________________________________________________The aim of researchwas determine the application of kolbs experiential learning model through practical activity improve students biology learning outcomes in plant tissue structure and function material in SMAN 1 Ngawen. This research was quasi-experimental which used nonequivalent control group design. The population was all science students grade XI (1, 2, and 3). The samples were taken purposively (students of XI-IPA1 as control and XI-IPA2 as experimental). The datawere increasing student learning outcomes, student opinion, and teacher opinion.Increasing student learning outcomes have been determined by N-gain, whereasdifferent of learning outcomes based on t-test.Teacher andstudentopinion were determined by questionnaire and interview.Increasing student learning outcomes was high in experimental class 57%, whereas 25% in control. Average of student learning outcomes in experimental class 83,92, whereas 75,99 in control. Result t-test average of student learning outcomes between experimental classwith control showed tcount> ttable, it was 4,05 > 1,67. It means there was significant difference. Teacher and student opinionto the learning activity had  good. Conclusion of research was application of kolbs experiential learning model through practical activity improve students biology learning outcomes in plant tissue structure and function material in SMAN 1 Ngawen. Abstrak _____________________________________________________________ Tujuan penelitian ini untuk mengetahui apakah penerapan model experiential learning kolb melalui kegiatan praktikum meningkatkan hasil belajar biologi siswa materi struktur dan fungsi jaringan tumbuhan di SMA Negeri 1 Ngawen. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian quasi-experimental dengan desain nonequivalent control group design. Populasi penelitian ini adalah seluruh siswa kelas XI-IPA (1, 2, dan 3). Sampel ditentukan secarapurposive sampling (siswa kelas XI-IPA1 sebagai kontrol danXI-IPA2 sebagai eksperimen). Data penelitian berupa peningkatan hasil belajar siswa, tanggapan siswa, dan tanggapan guru. Peningkatan hasil belajar siswa ditentukan denganN-gain, sedangkan perbedaan hasil belajar berdasarkan uji t. Tanggapan siswa dan guru ditentukan menggunakan angket dan wawancara. Peningkatan hasil belajar siswa yang tinggi pada kelas eksperimen 57%, sedangkan kontrol 25%. Rata-rata hasil belajar siswa kelas eksperimen 83,92, sedangkan kontrol 75,99. Hasil uji t rata-rata hasil belajar siswa antarakelas eksperimen dengan kontrolmenunjukkan nilai thitung> ttabel, yaitu 4,05 > 1,67.Artinya ada perbedaan yang signifikan. Tanggapan siswa dan guru terhadap penerapan pembelajaran baik. Simpulan penelitian ini adalah penerapan model experiential learning kolb melalui kegiatan praktikum meningkatkan hasil belajar biologi siswa materi struktur dan fungsi jaringan tumbuhan di SMA Negeri 1 Ngawen.

Abstract

One type of learning processes that support the development of student competence in exploring and understanding the environment is a learning process with the model field study. The field study is a model of learning with the learning activities include a visit to a place outside the classroom are implemented as part of all academic activities, especially in order to achieve the learning objectives. The field study is a form of outdoor learning models using the original media in nature / environment. SMA Negeri 1 Gebog have a school environment that is quite extensive and can be used as learning resources such as lawn, garden classes, fish pond, and a school garden. In these places there are different kinds of living things can be a source of learning on biodiversity material. The results of the analysis of both classes can be seen that the average value of the two classes is was 82.5% with 87.5% classical completeness can be seen in the table, the data is more in the appendix. Activity learning materials biodiversity through fieldwork learning model by using the environment as a learning resource directing students to maximize learning and provide hands-on experience to students in learning. Salah satu jenis proses pembelajaran yang mendukung pengembangan kompetensi siswa dalam menjelajahi dan memahami alam sekitar adalah proses pembelajaran dengan model Studi lapangan. Studi lapangan adalah suatu model pembelajaran dengan kegiatan pembelajaran yang berupa kunjungan ke suatu tempat di luar kelas yang dilaksanakan sebagai bagian dari seluruh kegiatan akademis, terutama dalam rangka mencapai tujuan pembelajaran. Studi lapangan merupakan suatu bentuk model pembelajaran di luar ruangan dengan memanfaatkan media asli yang ada di alam / lingkungan sekitar. SMA Negeri 1 Gebog mempunyai lingkungan sekolah yang cukup luas dan dapat digunakan sebagai sumber belajar seperti lapangan rumput, taman kelas, kolam ikan, dan kebun sekolah. Ditempat-tempat tersebut terdapat berbagai jenis makhluk hidup yang dapat dijadikan sumber belajar pada materi keanekaragaman hayati. Hasil analisis dari kedua kelas dapat diketahui bahwa nilai rata-rata dari kedua kelas adalah tersebut adalah 82,5% dengan ketuntasan klasikal 87,5%. Kegiatan pembelajaran materi keanekaragaman hayati melalui model pembelajaran Studi lapangan dengan memanfaatkan lingkungan sekitar sebagai sumber belajar mengarahkan siswa untuk memaksimalkan kemampuan belajar dan memberikan pengalaman langsung kepada siswa dalam belajar.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui  perbedaan hasil belajar dan sikap peduli lingkungan pada penerapan model GI dan PBL sub materi pencemaran air dengan limbah batik cair sebagai sumber belajar di SMAN 1 Pekalongan. Penelitian  ini merupakan penelitian quasi eksperimen, dengan pola non-equivalent control group design. Sampel penelitian adalah kelas X MIPA 1 dan X MIPA 2. Uji hasil belajar siswa menunjukan rerata skor N-gain kelas eksperimen GI 0,53 lebih tinggi dari kelas eksperimen PBL 0,39. Hasil uji t skor N-gain diperoleh nilai signifikansi 0,014 lebih kecil dari 0,05 sehingga terdapat perbedaan hasil belajar yang signifikan antara kelas eksperimen GI dan kelas eksperimen PBL. Skor rerata sikap peduli lingkungan siswa kelas eksperimen GI sebesar 64,6 lebih besar dari kelas eksperimen PBL 60,9. Hasil uji t skor kepedulian siswa terhadap lingkungan diperoleh nilai Sig sebesar 0,008 lebih kecil dari 0,05, artinya ada perbedaan sikap peduli lingkungan yang signifikan antara kelas eksperimen GI dan eksperimen PBL. Hasil penelitian menunjukan bahwa terdapat perbedaan hasil belajar dan sikap peduli lingkungan yang signifikan pada penerapan model GI dan model PBL serta hasil belajar dan sikap peduli lingkungan lebih tinggi pada penerapan model GI dengan limbah batik cair sebagai sumber belajar di SMAN 1 Pekalongan. This study was aimed at knowing any differences of learning achievement and environmental awareness on the implementation of PBL and GI learning models in the sub material of water pollution by using Batik liquid waste as the learning source in SMA N 1 Pekalongan. Further, this study belongs to quasi experimental research by employing non-equivalent control group design. The samples of this study were class X MIPA 1 and X MIPA 2. After the treatments were given, the result of GI experimental class got 0.53 average point higher than PBI experimental class. Moreover, the t-test result on N-gain obtained significance value of 0.014 which was less than 0.05, for there was a significant difference of the learning achievement between those classes. Besides, the environmental awareness average score of GI experimental class was higher than PBL experimental class, namely 64.6 and 60.9. Accordingly, the t-test result of the environmental awareness score gained significance value of 0.008 which was less than 0.05, meaning that there was a significant difference of the environmental awareness between GI and PBL experimental classes. In conclusion, this study showed significant differences by having GIs scores higher than PBL in the learning achievement and environmental awareness.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menguji efektivitas model PBL berbantuan media audio-visual terhadap motivasi dan hasil belajar siswa. Penelitian ini menggunakan rancangan Experimental Design, dengan menggunakan dua kelas sebagai kelas eksperimen dan kelas kontrol. Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah seluruh siswa kelas VIII SMP Negeri 1 Garung sedangkan sampel dalam penelitian ini adalah kelas VIII A (kelas eksperimen) menggunakan model PBL berbantuan media audiovisual dan kelas VIII B (kelas kontrol) menggunakan pembelajaran kooperatif. Data motivasi belajar siswa diperoleh melalui angket. Data hasil belajar kompetensi pengetahuan siswa diambil dari tes tertulis materi sistem ekskresi, kompetensi keterampilan diambil dari pengamatan, dan kompetensi sikap dari angket penilaian diri, antar teman, dan pengamatan. Teknik analisis data dengan menggunakan deskriptif persentase dan uji t. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan model PBL berbantuan media audio-visual efektif terhadap motivasi dan hasil belajar. Dilihat dari persentase siswa termotivasi sebesar 100%, siswa tuntas kompetensi sikap sebesar 100%, kompetensi keterampilan 91%, kompetensi pengetahuan 79%, dan hasil uji t menunjukkan bahwa hasil belajar kompetensi pengetahuan kelas eksperimen lebih baik dari kelas kontrol dari nilai thitung= 4,56 > ttabel = 2,04. Kesimpulan dari penelitian ini adalah model PBL berbantuan media audio-visual efektif terhadap motivasi dan hasil belajar siswa.  The purpose of this research was to examine the effectiveness of PBL model assisted audio-visual media toward students’ motivation and learning outcomes. This research used Experimental Design and used two classes as experiment and control class. The population on this research was the students of class VIII of SMP 1 Garung while the sample is class VIII A (experiment class) used PBL model assisted audio-visual media and class VIII B (control class) used cooperative learning. The motivation data of student’s learning achieved is by questionnaire. Data of student’s knowledge competence learning result taken from written test of materials excretion system, competence skill is taken from the observation, attitudes, and competencies of self-assessment questionnaire, among friends, and observations. The data analysis technique used descriptive percentage and t-test. The result of this research showed that the PBL model assisted audio-visual media was effective for students’ motivation and learning outcomes. Judging from the percentage of students motivated by 100%, students completed the competence of the attitude of 100%, 91% competency skills, 79% knowledge competencies, and the result of t-test showed that the results of experimental class knowledge learning competence better than control class from score t = 4,56> ttable = 2,04. The conclusion from this research is the PBL model assisted audio-visual media effectively to students’motivation and learning outcomes

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui hubungan antara jurnal belajar dan strategi berpikir metakognitif serta menguji pengaruh penerapan jurnal belajar sebagai strategi berpikir metakognitif pada pembelajaran sistem imunitas terhadap hasil belajar siswa di SMA Negeri 1 Kajen. Desain penelitian menggunakan Quasi Experiment dengan pola Pre-Posttest Design yang diterapkan pada kelas XI IPA 2 sebagai kelompok eksperimen (26) dan kelas XI IPA 3 sebagai kontrol (26). Pengambilan sampel secara convenience sampling. Data tentang skor jurnal belajar diperoleh melalui jurnal belajar. Strategi berpikir metakognitif diukur melalui lembar inventori strategi berpikir metakognitif. Data hasil belajar diperoleh melalui Post-test. Data jurnal belajar dan strategi berpikir metakognitif dianalisis secara kuantitatif melalui uji korelasi. Data hasil belajar dianalisis secara kuantitatif dengan uji t dan uji regresi linier sederhana. Hasil penelitian diperoleh bahwa strategi berpikir metakognitif berkorelasi positif dengan jurnal belajar (93,8% dan sig < 0,05). Hasil uji t-test menunjukkan perbedaan nyata dari kedua kelompok. Hasil penelitian penerapan jurnal belajar sebagai strategi berpikir metakognitif berpengaruh secara signifikan terhadap hasil belajar siswa (nilai sig.<0,05).  Abstract ___________________________________________________________________ This research aimed to know the relation between learning journal and metacognitive thinking strategy and examine the influence of the use of learning journal as a metacognitive thinking strategy, for teaching Human Imunity Systems, on students’ learning achievement at SMA Negeri 1 Kajen. This research design was Quasi Experiment with Pre-Posttest Design. Subject involved in this research were XI IPA 2 class as the experimental (26) and XI IPA 3 as the control (26). Sample was collected by the convenience sampling technique. Score of learning journal was obtained by scoring the journal. Score of metakognitive thinking strtategy was obtained by Inventory Sheet of Metacognitive Thinking Strategy. Data of the learning achievement were obtained by Post-test. Data of learning journal and metacognitive thinking strategy were quantitatively analyzed using correlation test. Data of students’ learning achievement were quantitatively analyzed using t-test and simple linear regression test. Reseach finding indicated that metacognitive thinking strategy was positively correlated with learning journal (93,8% and sig < 0,05). T-test indicated the significant difference between two groups. The use of learning journal as metacognitive thinking strategy brought significant effect on the students’ learning achievement (sig. value <0,05).Keywords: Imunity System of Learning, Learning Journal, and Metacognitive Thinking Strategy

Abstract

Abstract This study aimed to determine the feasibility and effectiveness of the pocket book based mind mapping and multiple intelligences of fungi material in SMAN 1 Slawi. Based on preliminary observations in mind that needs to be developed as a pocket book supporting student handbook, students learn fungi to overcome difficulties and can develop multiple intelligences of students. The method used Research and Development. In large-scale trials using experimental design True Experimental Design with the type of Post - Test Only Control Group Design. Subjects in this study were students of class X PMIA at SMA Negeri 1 Slawi. Feasibility pocket book based on the results of the validation of 80.37 % with a valid criteria and inter-rater reliability (IRRs) value is good, student responses to the legibility of the pocket books of 87.4 % with very good criteria, the response of students and teachers to use the pocket books of 92.25 % with a very good criteria and 95.65 % with a very good criteria. Classical completeness experimental class < 75 % and based on t test obtained thit = 1.41while ttab = 1.67 then thit < ttab and Ho was accepted, student learning outcomes experimental class was almost the same as the control class so pocketbooks less effective. However, the results of multiple intelligences observations indicated that the use of a pocket book is able to develop students multiple intelligences. Development of a pocket book based mind mapping and multiple intelligences of fungi material worthy and able to develop multiple intelligences but less effectively improve student learning outcomes. Abstrak Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui kelayakan dan efektivitas buku saku berbasis mind mapping dan multiple intelligences materi jamur di SMA Negeri 1 Slawi. Berdasarkan observasi awal diketahui bahwa perlu dikembangkan buku saku sebagai penunjang buku pegangan siswa, mengatasi kesulitan siswa mempelajari jamur dan dapat mengembangkan kecerdasan majemuk siswa. Metode penelitian yang digunakan Research and Development. Pada uji coba skala besar menggunakan desain eksperimen True Experimental Design dengan jenis Post-test Only Control Group Design. Subjek dalam penelitian ini adalah siswa kelas X PMIA di SMA Negeri 1 Slawi. Kelayakan buku saku didasarkan pada hasil validasi sebesar 80,37% dengan kriteria valid dan nilai inter-rater reliability (IRR) baik, tanggapan siswa terhadap keterbacaan buku saku sebesar 87,4% dengan kriteria sangat baik, tanggapan siswa dan guru terhadap penggunaan buku saku sebesar 92,25% dengan kriteria sangat baik serta 95,65% dengan kriteria sangat baik. Ketuntasan klasikal kelas eksperimen < 75% dan berdasarkan uji t diperoleh thitung = 1,41 sedangkan ttabel = 1,67 maka thitung< ttabel dan Ho diterima, hasil belajar siswa kelas eksperimen hampir sama dengan kelas kontrol sehingga buku saku kurang efektif. Namun, hasil observasi kecerdasan majemuk menunjukkan bahwa penggunaan buku saku mampu mengembangkan kecerdasan majemuk siswa. Pengembangan buku saku berbasis mind mapping dan multiple intelligences materi jamur layak dan mampu mengembangkan kecerdasan majemuk tetapi kurang efektif meningkatkan hasil belajar siswa.
