Abstract

This study aims to test the effectiveness of teaching materials in the form comic material respiratory system and analyze the correlation between student’s interest with learning outcomes MTs Al-Islam Sumurrejo. The population in this study were 8th grade classes totaling two. The samples used were two classes ie class VIII-A (experimental class) and VIII-B (grade control) taken by simple random sampling. The design of this study was Quasi Experimental kind of post-test only. Study outcomes data control group analyzed use the t-test and interest in learning, the teacher and studentsresponses data analyzed descriptively percentage. Relationship student’s interest with learning outcomes were analyzed using product moment correlation formula. The results showed that there are significant differences between the learning outcomes experiment group with control that is equal to 6.14, the average experimental group was 85, the control group was 75, 95% of students achieving KKM,, 95% of students have high learning interest to very high, 100% of teachers responding positively and 89% of students responded well, there is a positive correlation between student’s interest with learning outcomes coefficient of 0.60. Teaching materials comic respiratory system effectively applied at MTs Al-Islam Sumurrejo and positive correlation between student’s interest with learning outcomes. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menguji keefektifan bahan ajar berbentuk komik materi sistem pernapasan dan menganalisis korelasi antara minat belajar dengan hasil belajar  siswa MTs Al-Islam Sumurrejo. Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah kelas VIII yang berjumlah dua kelas. Seluruh populasi digunakan sebagai sampel yaitu kelas VIII-A (kelas eksperimen) dan VIII-B (kelas kontrol) yang diambil dengan teknik acak sederhana. Desain penelitian ini adalah Quasi Experimental jenis post-test only. Hasil belajar kelompok eksperimen dan kontrol dianalisis menggunakan uji t. Minat belajar, tanggapan guru maupun siswa dianalisis menggunakan teknik deskriptif persentase. Hubungan hasil belajar dengan minat belajar dianalisis menggunakan rumus korelasi product moment. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa terdapat 95,5% siswa kelompok eksperimen mencapai KKM, terdapat perbedaan yang signifikan antara hasil belajar kelompok eksperimen dengan kontrol, rata-rata hasil belajar kelompok eksperimen lebih besar dari kelompok kontrol, terdapat 95,45% siswa mempunyai minat belajar tinggi hingga sangat tinggi. Tanggapan guru adalah sangat baik dan 89% siswa menanggapi baik terhadap pembelajaran menggunakan bahan ajar komik. Terdapat korelasi positif antara minat belajar dengan hasil belajar siswa kelompok eksperimen. Simpulan yang dapat diambil adalah bahan ajar komik materi sistem pernapasan efektif diterapkan di MTs Al-Islam Sumurrejo dan terdapat korelasi positif antara minat dengan hasil belajar siswa.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh model pembelajaran Problem Based Learning berbantuan TV-News terhadap kemampuan analisis siswa menggunakan quasi experiment design dengan pola Pretest-Posttest one group design. Populasi adalah seluruh siswa kelas VIII SMP N 24 Semarang, sedangkan sampelnya adalah sebagian dari kelas VIII yaitu kelas VIII C menggunakan teknik convenience sampling. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa terdapat perbedaan rata-rata nilai kemampuan analisis siswa sebelum dan sesudah pembelajaran. Dari hasil analisis uji t diperoleh bahwa t hitung > t tabel yaitu 2.07 > 2.03 maka ada perbedaan signifikan antara kemampuan analisis siswa sebelum dan sesudah pembelajaran. Selain itu kemampuan analisis siswa berada pada kriteria baik dan cukup, dengan persentase baik 56.25 dan cukup 43.75. Hal ini didukung dengan aktivitas siswa dan tanggapan guru dan siswa yang memberikan respon positif terhadap pembelajaran. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian disimpulkan bahwa pembelajaran dengan model Problem Based Learning berbantuan TV-News berpengaruh dalam meningkatkan kemampuan analisis siswa pada materi bahan kimia kehidupan. The study aims to understand the influence of learning model the problem based learning through tv-news of the ability of analysis students to the matter chemicals life. The study is quasi experiment design. The design of the study uses pretest-posttest one group design. The population in this study is all of the eighth grade students of Junior High School in 24 Semarang, while the sample is the students of class VIII C. The samples were collected by convenience sampling. The results of the study showed that there are differences average score pretest and posttest. The results of pretest and posttest obtained later in analysis by t-test. The results of pretest and posttest acquired analysis by t-test. t-test results obtained that t count> ttable.. t count is 2.07, whereas for the t table is 2.03. So any significant difference between pretest and posttest grades. In addition analytical capability students are to a criterion good and quite , with the good of 56.25 and quite of 43.75. This is supported with the activity students and the response of teachers and students who provide a positive response to the problem of learning model based learning through tv-news. Based on the results of the study concluded that learning a problem with a model based learning through tv-news impact on analytical capability students on any material chemicals life .

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menguji efektivitas metode field trip di Sungai Kaligarang Semarang terhadap hasil belajar siswa pada materi pengelolaan lingkungan. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah pre experimental dengan desain one shot case study. Populasi diambil dari siswa kelas VII SMP N 40 Semarang tahun ajaran 2014/2015. Sampel yang digunakan adalah kelas VIIF, VIIG, dan VIIH yang diambil dengan teknik convenience sampling. Data penelitian berupa hasil belajar siswa ranah kognitif, afektif, dan psikomotorik, data tanggapan siswa dan guru yang dikumpulkan dengan metode observasi dan tes. Data-data tersebut dianalisis secara deskriptif kuantitatif. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa ≥ 75% siswa mencapai ketuntasan (nilai ≥ 75) pada hasil belajar kognitif, afektif, dan psikomotorik. Jumlah siswa yang tuntas pada hasil belajar kognitif di kelas VIIF sebesar 96,7%, kelas VIIG sebesar 100% dan kelas VIIH sebesar 100%. Pada hasil belajar afektif kelas VIIF sebesar 87%, kelas VIIG sebesar 100% dan kelas VIIH sebesar 81,2%. Pada hasil belajar psikomotorik kelas VIIF sebesar 100%, kelas VIIG sebesar 78,1% dan kelas VIIH sebesar 87,2%. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian dapat disimpulkan bahwa filed trip di Sungai Kaligarang Semarang dan jalan sekitarnya efektif terhadap hasil belajar siswa materi pengelolaan lingkungan. The objective of the research was to analyse effectiveness learning outcome on  environmental management in Semarang Kaligarang River using field trip methods.The method used in this research is a pre-experimental design with one shot case study. The population of this research used all the grade VII studentsat SMPN40Semarangacademic year2014/2015. Samples were gradeVIIF, VIIG, andVIIH students collected by convenience samplingtechnique. Data were obtained from the student worksheet, post test, questionaire studentandteacher. The data was analyzed by descriptive quantitative. The results showed that≥ 75% of student achieved optimal learning outputs (score ≥ 75) in cognitive, affective, and psychomotor learning outcome. The number of student that got optimal value on the cognitif outcome amounted to 96,7% in  grade VIIF and amounted 100% in  grade VIIG and VIIH. In affective learning outcome  grade VIIF amounted to 87%,  grade VIIG of 100% and amounted to 81,2% in  grade VIIH. In psychomotor learning outcome amounted to 100% in  grade VIIF, amounted 78,1% in grade VIIG and amounted 87,2% in  grade VIIH.Based on the resultsof this study can be concludedthat thefiledtripinSemarangKaligarangRivereffective on student learning outcomes in environmental management.

Based on the resultsof t-testonstudent learning outcomesacquiredthitung>ttablethenH0is rejectedandH1accepted,so itwas concluded thatthe results ofstudyingthe experimental groupis higherthan theresults ofstudyingthe control group withthe percentage ofmastery learningclassicalexperimental groupreached 90% while the control groupat 50%. Based on these resultsit can be concludedthat theEcosystem-Based ModuleConstructivismappliedeffectively usedasteaching materialin juniorYPESemarang. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menguji keefektifan modul ekosistem berbasis konstruktivisme yang diterapkan dalam pembelajaran di SMP YPE Semarang. Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah seluruh siswa kelas VII yang terdiri dari dua kelas. Penelitian ini dilakukan dengan desain control group pre test-post test. Berdasarkan hasil uji t terhadap hasil belajar siswa diperoleh thitung>ttabel maka H0 ditolak dan H1 diterima, sehingga disimpulkan bahwa hasil belajar kelompok eksperimen lebih tinggi dibandingkan dengan hasil belajar kelompok kontrol dengan presentase ketuntasan belajar klasikal kelompok eksperimen mencapai 90% sedangkan kelompok kontrol hanya mencapai 50%. Hasil analisis tanggapan guru dan siswa terhadap modul mencapai presentase 100% dengan kriteria sangat baik menunjukkan bahwa modul yang diterapkan dapat menarik minat siswa untuk mempelajari materi ekosistem. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian dapat disimpulkan bahwa Modul Ekosistem Berbasis Konstruktivisme yang diterapkan efektif digunakan sebagai bahan ajar di SMP YPE Semarang. .

Abstract

Abstrak ___________________________________________________________________ Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis kelayakan perangkat pembelajaran berbasis PBL dan menganalisis efektivitas perangkat pembelajaran berbasis PBL pada materi virus untuk melatih keterampilan berpikir kritis siswa. Rancangan penelitian ini adalah penelitian dan pengembangan dengan dua uji coba lapangan yang dilakukan di SMA N 1 Bandar. Uji coba produk dilakukan pada 10 siswa di kelas X MIA 1 dan uji coba pemakaian dilakukan pada 32 siswa di kelas X MIA 4. Uji coba pemakaian perangkat pembelajaran menggunakan one group pre-test and post-test design. Hasil validasi ahli sebesar 89,57% dengan kriteria sangat layak. Hasil uji coba produk sebesar 92,45% dengan kriteria sangat baik. Rata-rata nilai N-gain sebesar 0,58 menunjukkan adanya peningkatan hasil belajar dari pre-test dan post-test dengan kriteria sedang. Rata-rata ketuntasan klasikal mencapai 81,25%, rata-rata persentase keterampilan berpikir kritis siswa mencapai 74,9% dengan rata-rata skor N-gain sebesar 0,63 menunjukkan adanya peningkatan keterampilan berpikir kritis dengan kriteria sedang, dan rata-rata sikap ilmiah siswa mencapai 83%. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian dapat disimpulkan bahwa pengembangan perangkat pembelajaran berbasis PBL layak dan efektif terhadap hasil belajar, keterampilan berpikir kritis, dan sikap ilmiah siswa dalam pembelajaran materi virus untuk siswa SMA.   Abstract ___________________________________________________________________ This research aims is to analyze the feasibility of PBL-based learning tools and to analyze The effectiveness of PBL-based learning tools on virus concept to train students critical thinking skills. The research plan is research and development (R&D), and it was held with two field tests at Senior High School 1 Bandar. Product trials was done by 10 students in X MIA class and trial usage was done by 32 students in X MIA 4 class. PBL-based learning tools trial usage was using one group pre-test and post-test design. The specialist validation result was 89,57% with a very feasible criteria. Product trial outcome result was 92,45% with a very good criteria. The average of 0,58 N-gain indicates that there was an increase of learning outcome from pre-test and post-test with medium criteria. The average of students classical completeness was 81,25%, the average percentage of students critical thinking skills was 74,9% with the average of 0,63 N-gain indicates that there was an increase of critical thinking with medium criteria, and the average of students science attitude was 83%. It can be conclude that the development of PBL-based learning tools were feasible and effective in learning outcome, critical thinking skills, and students science attitude in learning of the virus concept for Senior High School students.

Abstract

Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk memperoleh 1) gambaran pemahaman guru SMA terkait perangkat pembelajaran Biologi berbasis Inquiry, 2) rumusan solusi dalam mengatasi permasalahan guru terkait pengembangan perangkat pembelajaran Biologi di SMA, 3) gambaran kemampuan siswa memecahkan masalah Biologi berbasis Inquiry, 4) rumusan solusi dalam mengatasi kemampuan pemecahan masalah siswa terkait pembelajaran Biologi berbasis Inquiry. Gambaran pemahaman guru dan siswa ditentukan dengan wawancara dan angket dianalisis secara secara deskriftif kualitatif. Hasil penelitian diketahui bahwa: 1) pemahaman guru terkait perangkat pembelajaran biologi berbasis Inquiry masih kurang sehingga penggunaannya pada proses pembelajaran belum dilakukan secara optimal, 2) Guru mengalami kendala dalam pembuatan perangkat pembelajaran. memerlukan referensi acuan, kegiatan pendampingan dan sosialisasi dalam pengembangangan perangkat pembelajaran berbasis Inquiry, 3) Siswa masih sulit dalam memecahkan permasalahan pada proses pembelajaran di kelas, 4) rendahnya kemampuan siswa memecahan masalah perlu diatasi dengan bimbingan guru secara penuh. The aim of this study is to obtain 1) description of the understanding level of high school teachers related to inquiry-based biology learning kit, 2) the solutions formulation to overcome of teachers’ problems in developing Biology learning kit in high school, 3) description of the level of students’ problem-solving skills related to Inquiry-based biology learning, 4) the solutions formulation to solve the students problem solving skills related to Inquiry based biology learning. General overview of teachers’ and students’ understanding was explored by interview and questionnaire then by descriptively qualitative analyzed. It found that 1) teachers had low understanding level of inquiry based biology learning kit, so it was not optimally applied learning process 2) teachers had problems in making learning kit, need references, mentoring activities and socialization to conduct inquiry based learning model, 3) students were still hard to overcome problems appeared in learning process, 4) the low level of students’ problem-solving skills need to be addressed with teachers’ full guidance.

Abstract

Abstract ___________________________________________________________________This research has aim to develop and know the effectiveness of student worksheet based on science process skill of carbon dioxide experiment of respiration system. The research was done in the Biology Department FMIPA Semarang State University and SMA N 1 Pati using research planning Research and Development (R&D). Sample of the experiment product use was taken by cluster random sampling method with research design posttest-only control design. The evaluation result of the expert toward student worksheet skill of carbon dioxide respiration system show that student worksheet of the development research is appropriate to be used in learning process with percentage 76.33%. The result of the experiment use show that learning result in the experiment class was proven real higher than control class and the average science process skill of experiment class was really high with the percentage 93%. Based on the research, development of student worksheet in skill of carbon dioxide experiment science process of respiration system is proper to be used in learning process     Abstrak ___________________________________________________________________   Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengembangkan dan mengetahui efektifitas LKS keterampilan proses sains uji karbon dioksida materi sistem pernapasan. Penelitian dilaksanakan di Jurusan Biologi FMIPA Universitas Negeri Semarang dan SMA N 1 Pati dengan rancangan penelitian Research and Developmen (R&D). Sampel uji coba pemakaian produk diambil dengan metode cluster random sampling dengan desain penelitian posttest-only control design. Hasil penilaian ahli terhadap LKS keterampilan proses sains uji karbon dioksida materi sistem pernapasan menunjukkan bahwa LKS hasil pengembangan layak digunakan dalam pembelajaran dengan persentase kelayakan 76,33%. Hasil uji coba pemakaian menunjukkan bahwa hasil belajar kelas eksperimen terbukti nyata lebih tinggi dari kelas kontrol dan rata-rata keterampilan proses sains kelas eksperimen tergolong sangat tinggi dengan persentase 93%. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian, pengembangan LKS keterampilan proses sains uji karbon dioksida materi sistem pernapasan yang efektif digunakan dalam pembelajaran.

Abstract

Berdasarkan analisis potensi diketahui bahwa siswa SMA mempunyai minat yang besar terhadap gadget. Penelitian ini bertujuan mengembangkan media pembelajaran Androplantae melalui sebuah produk berbasis Android pada materi dunia tumbuhan untuk siswa SMA. Tahapan penelitian yang dilakukan adalah identifikasi potensi dan masalah, pengumpulan data, desain produk, validasi desain, revisi produk, uji coba skala kecil, revisi desain, uji coba skala luas, revisi produk, dan produk final. Uji coba skala kecil dilakukan di SMA N 1 Toroh, sedangkan uji coba skala luas dilakukan di SMA N 1 Purwodadi. Data yang diambil adalah penilaian kelayakan aplikasi media pembelajaran Androplantae berbasis Android oleh ahli media dan ahli materi, hasil penilaian produk oleh guru dan siswa dan hasil belajar siswa setelah menggunakan produk. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa validator ahli media dan ahli materi memberikan penilaian dengan rerata persentase 93% (kriteria sangat layak). Siswa memberi tanggapan dengan persentase 82% (kriteria sangat baik), guru memberi tanggapan dengan persentase 90% (kriteria sangat baik) dan hasil belajar siswa mencapai ketuntasan klasikal sebesar 80%. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian dapat disimpulkan bahwa media pembelajaran Androplantae berbasis Android layak dan efektif untuk diterapkan pada pembelajaran materi dunia tumbuhan untuk siswa SMA. Based on potential analysis told that student have an enormous interest in gadget. This research aims to develop learning media Androplantae through android-based product on plantae content for senior high-school students. The steps start from identification of the potential and problems, data collection, product design, design validation, revision of the product, small-scale trial, revision of the design, large-scale trial, revision of the product, and final product. Small-scale trial conducted in SMA N 1 Toroh, while the large-scale trial conducted in SMA N 1 Purwodadi. The taken data were feasibility of android-based learning media Androplantae by media and content expert, the result of product by teachers and students, and student’s learning result after using the product. The result showed that validator of media and content give an assessment with an average percentage of 93% (very decent). The students’ respond with an average percentage of 82% (very good), teachers’ respond with an average percentage 90% (very good) and student’s learning result achieve classical completeness with 90%. Based on the result of this research we concluded that android-based learning media Androplantae was decent and effective for learning of plantae in senior high-school.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengembangkan model pembelajaran sistem peredaran darah bersuplemen artikel dan menguji pengaruhnya terhadap hasil belajar siswa. Pengembangan produk dilaksanakan di Jurusan Biologi FMIPA Universitas Negeri Semarang. Uji skala terbatas dilakukan di SMA Teuku Umar Semarang dan uji skala luas dilakukan di SMA Negeri 1 Semarang pada semester genap 2013/2014. Uji pengaruh model pembelajaran terhadap hasil belajar menggunakan only post test control group design. Sampel diambil menggunakan teknik convenience sampling, sedangkan kelas kontrol menggunakan kelas XI MIA 2 dan kelas eksperimen menggunakan kelas XI MIA 10. Data hasil belajar berupa skor post test. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan model pembelajaran memperoleh skor sangat layak; skor kelayakan perangkat pembelajaran adalah layak; dan skor keterlaksanaan model yaitu sedang. Uji-t menunjukkan perbedaan signifikan antara kelompok eksperimen dan kontrol (thitung > ttabel). Berdasarkan hasil pengembangan dan penelitian dapat disimpulkan bahwa model pembelajaran sistem peredaran darah bersuplemen artikel yang dikembangkan layak dan berpengaruh signifikan terhadap hasil belajar.  This study aimed to develop model of teaching on circulation system suplemented by article and  examine the effect of it on student learning achievement. The process of product development was conducted at Departement of Biologycal Science, Semarang State University. The trials of small-scale products was carried out in SMA Teuku Umar Semarang and the trials of large-scale products was carried out in SMA Negeri 1 Semarang at second semester 2013/2014. The testing effect model of teaching on learning achievement used only post test control group design. Sample was taken with convenience sampling technique, whereas control class used XI MIA 2 and eksperiment class used XI MIA 10. The data about learning achievement are form score of post test. The result showed that models of teaching get score of advisability are very feasible; score advisability of teaching device are feasible; and score sustainability of teaching model are middle. T-test showed that there are significant difference between eksperiment class with control class (thitung > ttabel). Based on the result of research and development, it could be concluded that model of teaching on circulation system suplemented by article developed feasible and have effect significant it on learning achievement.
