Abstract

Abstract _________________________________________________________________ The aim of the research was to analyze the effect of the application of Active, Joyful and Effective Learning (AJEL) with bioedutainment strategy based on activity and learning outcomes of students in class X of MAN Kendal. Sample was collected by a purposive sampling technique with two experimental classes, namely class X 4 and X 6, whereas X 5 as control class. This study was a Quasi Experimental Design with Non-Randomized Control Group Pretest-Posttest Design. Components of learning model that reflects the Active, Joyful and Effective Learning (AJEL) with bioedutainment strategy that used in this research was time token, outdoor learning, and gallery walk. Data were analyzed quantitatively. Tests using the t test showed the difference in the value of pretest-posttest experimental class is larger than the control class. The results of tests n-gain analysis of student learning outcomes obtained experimental class higher than the control class. Learning is effective because the classical >75% of students achieving KKM, student activity> 75% and questionnaire responses of students >75% said that learning are fun and not boring.  Abstrak ___________________________________________________________________ Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis pengaruh penerapan Active, Joyful and Effective Learning (AJEL) berbasis bioedutainment terhadap aktivitas dan hasil belajar siswa kelas X MAN Kendal. Komponen model pembelajaran yang mencerminkan Active, Joyful and Effective Learning (AJEL) berbasis bioedutainment yang digunakan pada penelitian ini adalah time token, outdoor learning, dan gallery walk. Data dianalisis secara kuantitatif. Pengujian menggunakan uji t menunjukkan selisih nilai pretest-posttest kelas eksperimen lebih besar dari kelas kontrol. Hasil analisis uji n-gain hasil belajar siswa kelas eksperimen lebih tinggi daripada kelas kontrol. Pembelajaran dikatakan efektif karena secara klasikal >75% siswa mencapai KKM, aktivitas siswa >75% dan angket tanggapan siswa >75% menyatakan pembelajaran menyenangkan dan tidak membosankan.

Abstract

Based on observations, schools have wifi facilities and adequate human resources to develop e-learning. In addition, globalization and student characteristics variety support development of e-learning also to overcome the lack of face to face learning in Motion System. This study aims to demonstrate the design of Moodle based e-learning that fit and feasibility which developed for Human Motion System. The research design that used is Research and Development with Pre test - Post test one group design. Media developed can be prepared by utilizing IT development. Clas of XA and XB Purbalingga 1 Senior High School are the research sample which determined convenience sampling. Learning outcomes show that all students at XA and XB have post test scored above Completeness Criteria (CC) with N-gain calculation, most of students give very good level of significance criteria. Student responses result showed 94.29% XB respond very good, 5.71% good, while 100% students of XA respond very good. Teacher responses showed that teachers interested in learning has been applied. Final product contains module, animation, ppt, games, atlases, articles, chat and discussion forums. Based on analysis and discussion, it can be concluded that Moodle-based e-learning feasible and effective applied to Motion System material. Berdasarkan hasil observasi, beberapa sekolah memiliki fasilitas wifi dan SDM yang memadai dikembangkannya e-learning. Selain itu, arus globalisasi dan beragamnya karakteristik siswa juga mendukung disusunnya e-learning untuk mengatasi keterbatasan face to face learning pada materi Sistem Gerak. Penelitian ini bertujuan menunjukkan desain produk e-learning berbasis Moodle yang sesuai dan layak untuk materi Sistem Gerak. Rancangan penelitian yang digunakan adalah  Research and Development dengan Pre test - Post test one group design. Media yang dikembangkan dapat disusun dengan memanfaatkan perkembangan IT. Sampel penelitian yaitu siswa kelas X A dan X B SMA N 1 Purbalingga yang ditentukan secara convenience sampling. Hasil belajar seluruh siswa kelas X A dan X B mendapat nilai post test diatas Kriteria Ketuntasan Minimum (KKM) dengan hasil perhitungan N-gain sebagian besar siswa berada pada tingkat kriteria signifikansi sangat baik. Hasil tanggapan siswa menunjukkan 94,29% siswa kelas X B memberikan tanggapan baik dan 5,71% baik sedangkan 100% siswa X A memberikan tanggapan sangat baik. Tanggapan guru menunjukkan guru tertarik dengan pembelajaran yang telah diterapkan. Produk final berisi modul, animasi, ppt, games, atlas, artikel, chat dan forum diskusi. Berdasarkan hasil analisis dan pembahasan dapat disimpulkan bahwa e-learning berbasis moodle layak dan efektif diterapkan pada materi sistem gerak.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan jenis bahan ajar yang digunakan sebelumnya di SMA N 1 Bulakamba, mendeskripsikan kelayakan modul dan menguji efektivitas modul terhadap hasil belajar dan aktivitas siswa. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah Research and Development dengan menggunakan desain eksperimen Pre Experimental Design dengan jenis Pre-test and Post-test One Group Design . Uji coba skala besar menggunakan kelas XI IPA 3 dan XI IPA 4 SMA N 1 Bulakamba yang ditentukan menggunakan teknik purposive sampling. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahan ajar yang digunakan sebelummya di SMA N 1 Bulakamba adalah buku paket dari salah satu penerbit. Kelayakan modul sistem pertahanan tubuh berbasis bioedutainment memperoleh persentase rata-rata sebesar 97,33% dengan kriteria sangat layak. Uji coba skala besar, semua siswa mengalami peningkatan skor pretest dan posttest dengan kriteria sedang sampai tinggi, rata-rata ketuntasan klasikal sebesar 77,90% dan aktivitas siswa mencapai 87,01% dengan kriteria aktif dan sangat aktif. Berdasarkan hal tersebut disimpulkan bahwa modul pertahanan tubuh berbasis bioedutainment sangat layak dan efektif terhadap hasil belajar dan aktivitas siswa. This research aimed to described the type of teaching materials previously used in SMA N 1 Bulakamba, describes eligibility module and measure the effectiveness the module for the student learning achievement and activities. The method is research and development with pre experimental design Pre-test and Post-test One Group Design.Large-scale field-testing was class XI IPA 3 and XI IPA 4 in Senior High School 1 of Bulakamba were determined using purposive sampling. The results showed said that before teaching materials used in SMA N 1 Bulakamba is the textbook from one of the publishers. Feasibility aspects the immune system module based biodeutainment obtained a score of 97.3% with a veryfeasiblecriteria. Large-scale field-testing, all students has increased pretest and posttest scores with the criteria of medium to high, the average classical completeness amounted to 77.90% and student activites reached 87.01% . It was concluded that the immune system module based biodeutainment was very feasible and effectively for the student learningachievement and activities.

Abstract

Hasil survei TIMSS tahun 2011 mengindikasikan bahwa kemampuan berpikir analitis siswa Indonesia belum memenuhi harapan. Penelitian ini bertujuan menentukan perkembangan kemampuan berpikir analitis melalui pembelajaran kontekstual disertai peta konsep pada materi pencemaran lingkungan. Sampel penelitian adalah siswa kelas VII A SMP Walisongo 1 Semarang dan VII A, VII B, VII C SMP N 1 Karangtengah Demak pada semester genap tahun ajaran 2015/2016 yang diambil melalui teknik purposive sampling. Data dikumpulkan melalui pretest, posttest, observasi, angket, dan wawancara. Skor pretest dan posttest dianalisis dari hasil N-Gain, sedangkan data yang lain dianalisis secara deskriptif. Perkembangan kemampuan berpikir analitis terlihat dari 6,5% skor gain yang tergolong tinggi dan persentase ketercapaian indikator kemampuan berpikir analitis ≥ 50%. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa kemampuan berpikir analitis dapat dikembangkan melalui pembelajaran kontekstual disertai peta konsep. TIMSS survey result in 2011 indicated that analytical thinking skill of Indonesia students has not met expectation. This study aims to determine the analytical thinking skill development of junior high school students through contextual learning with concept maps in environmental pollution. The subjects were VII grade students of 2nd semester in academic year 2015/2016. They were class VII A of SMP Walisongo 1 Semarang and VII A, VII B, VII C of SMP N 1 Karangtengah Demak, which were determined by purposive sampling. Data were collected by pre test, post test, observation, questionnaire, and interview. The score of pre test and post test were analyzed from N-Gain result, meanwhile the others analyzed descriptively. Development of student’s analytical thinking skill showed from 6.5% high gain score and attachment of analytical thinking skill indicator ≥ 50%. The result showed that students’ analytical thinking skill can be developed through contextual learning with concept maps.

Abstract

Abstrak ___________________________________________________________________ Tujuan penelitian untuk mengetahui korelasi antara motivasi berprestasi dan minat berorganisasi terhadap indeks prestasi belajar mahasiswa Bidikmisi Jurusan Biologi FMIPA Unnes. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian kuantitatif korelasional. Data motivasi berprestasi dan minat berorganisasi diambil dengan pemberian skala psikologi berupa skala motivasi berprestasi dan minat berorganisasi. Data indeks prestasi belajar berupa IPK diambil dengan metode dokumentasi. Analisis data dilakukan secara deskriptif persentase dan analisis korelasi berbantuan SPSS. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan motivasi berprestasi dan minat berorganisasi mahasiswa Bidikmisi Jurusan Biologi FMIPA Unnes rata-rata termasuk dalam kriteria tinggi. Mahasiswa Bidikmisi Jurusan Biologi FMIPA Unnes mempunyai IPK antara 2,59 – 3,71 dengan rata-rata IPK 3,27. Korelasi motivasi berprestasi terhadap IPK termasuk kategori tinggi dengan koefisien korelasi 0,656. Korelasi minat berorganisasi terhadap IPK termasuk kategori sedang dengan koefisien korelasi 0,582. Korelasi motivasi berprestasi dan minat berorganisasi terhadap IPK termasuk kategori tinggi dengan koefisien korelasi 0,687. Simpulan penelitian ini yaitu ada korelasi antara motivasi berprestasi dan minat berorganisasi terhadap indeks prestasi belajar mahasiswa Bidikmisi Jurusan Biologi FMIPA Unnes.   Abstract ___________________________________________________________________ This  research aimed to determine the correlation between achievement motivation and organizational interest trough Grade Point Average (GPA) of Bidikmisi students in Biological Science Department UNNES. The reseach design used in this study was a quantitative correlation. Data of achievement motivation and organizational interest taken by achievement motivation and organizational interests scale. Data GPA was taken by documentation method. The data were analyzed by description of percentage and analysis of correlation. The result of this research showed that achievement motivation and organizional interest of Bidikmisi students of Biological Science Department UNNES was high. The GPA was between 2.59 to 3.71 and it’s average was 3.27. The result revealed that correlation between achievement motivation on GPA was high with a correlation coefficient was 0.656. The correlations between organizational interest and GPA was medium with a correlation coefficient was 0.582. The correlation between achievement motivation and organizational interest through GPA was high with a correlation coefficient was 0.687. From those results, this study conclude that there is a correlation between achievement motivation and organizational interest though the GPA  of Bidikmisi students in Biological Science Department UNNES.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan menguji keefektifan media pembelajaran “Si Imut” berbasis masalah materi sistem imun sikap peka dan peduli keselamatan diri dan lingkungan siswa. Penelitian ini dilaksanakan di kelas XI semester genap SMA N 13 Semarang dengan desain posttest only control design. Sampel yang diperoleh adalah kelas XI MIA 2 dan XI MIA 3, melalui teknik random sampling. Keefektifan diukur berdasarkan kompetensi sikap dengan predikat minimal B, dan ketuntasan kompetensi ketrampilan kelompok eksperimen > kelompok kontrol. Hasil perhitungan uji t, nilai kompetensi pengetahuan kelompok eksperimen > kelompok kontrol. Tanggapan guru dan siswa terhadap “Si Imut” minimal baik. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa 100% siswa memperoleh sikap dengan predikat minimal B, ketuntasan ketrampilan kelompok eksperimen 90,9%, sedangkan kelompok kontrol 84,8%. Nilai rata-rata pengetahuan kelompok eksperimen sebesar 67, sedangkan kelompok kontrol 61. Guru dan siswa memberikan tanggapan sangat baik. Simpulan yang dapat diambil media pembelajaran “Si Imut” berbasis masalah materi sistem imun efektif terhadap sikap peka dan peduli keselamatan diri dan lingkungan siswa. This study aims to find out the effectiveness of “Si Imut” problem-based instructional media of immune system to students sensitive and personal safety and environmentally conscious attitudes. This study was conducted by post-test only control design at grade XI. The samples of this study were grade XI MIA 2 and XI MIA 3 through random technique sampling. The effectiveness was reached if minimal stance competence predicate is B, and completeness of skill competence of experimental group is greater than control group. The results of t-test showed that experimental group was greater than control group. Response of teacher and students to “Si Imut” was good. The result showed that affective minimal predicate of 100% of students was B, the skill completeness of experimental group was 90,9%, while the control group was 84,8%. Knowledge mean score of experimental group was 67, while control group was 61. Teacher and students gave good response. It could be concluded that “Si Imut” problem-based instructional media of immune system learning was effective to improve students sensitive and personal safety and environmentally conscious attitudes.

Abstract

Abstrak Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menguji pengaruh metode brainstorming terhadap aktivitas dan hasil belajar siswa pada materi hama dan penyakit pada tumbuhan di SMP Negeri 1 Ungaran. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian Quasi Experimental Design. Rancangan penelitian menggunakan pola non-randomizedcontrol group pretest-posttest design. Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah seluruh kelas VIII SMP Negeri 1 Ungaran, sedangkan sampel dalam penelitian ini adalah kelas VIII B (kelas eksperimen) dan kelas VIII C (kelas kontrol). Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa skor tingkat keterlaksanaan metodebrainstorming adalah 85,33 % (berdasarkan nilai artikel siswa).Tingkat keterlaksanaan metode brainstorming terhadap skor aktivitas siswa menunjukkan skor aktivitas siswa sebesar 88,90% (sangat aktif), sedangkan tingkat keterlaksanaan metode brainstorming terhadap nilai hasil belajar siswa menunjukkan nilai rata-rata hasil belajar siswa yaitu 8,0. Berdasarkan hasil tersebut dapat disimpulkan bahwa metode brainstorming dapat memengaruhi aktivitas dan hasil belajar siswa pada materi hama dan penyakit pada tumbuhan di SMP Negeri 1 Ungaran.  Abstract _______________________________________________________________The aim of thisstudy is to examine the effect of brainstorming methods on student activity and student learning outcomes on the matter of pests and plant diseases in Junior High School 1 Ungaran. This study was Quasi Experimental Design. The design of this study was use a pattern of non-randomized control group pretest-posttest design. The population in this study is all VIII grade class in SMP Negeri 1 Ungaran, while the sample in this study was VIII B (as experimental class) and VIII C (as control class). The results showed that score of adherence level brainstorming method is 85.33 % (based on student’s article value). The adherencelevel of brainstorming methods on student activity score indicates a scoresabout 88.90 % (very active), whereas the adherencelevel on brainstorming methods onstudent learning outcomes shows the average of student learning outcomes about 8.0. Based on this results,it concluded that the brainstorming method can affect to the student activity and student learning outcomes on the matter of pests and diseases in plants in Junior High School 1 Ungaran.

Abstract

Hasil belajar ranah kognitif siswa kelas VIII SMP Negeri 8 Semarang tahun ajaran 2014/2015 pada materi gerak tumbuhan belum mencapai ketuntasan klasikal. Hal ini disebabkan bahan ajar yang digunakan belum menuntun siswa untuk menemukan konsep, melainkan hanya memberi konsep. Oleh karena itu, diperlukan adanya model pembelajaran dan bahan ajar yang dapat meningkatkan pemahaman konsep yang mengukur hasil belajar kognitif. Masalah tersebut dapat diatasi dengan pembelajaran menggunakan LKS berbasis guided inquiry pada materi gerak tumbuhan. Penelitian ini adalah Research and Development (R&D) yang dimodifikasi. Uji coba skala kecil dilakukan menggunakan 15 siswa yang diambil dengan teknik stratified sampling, sedangkan uji coba skala besar menggunakan 36 siswa. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa pengembangan LKS masuk kriteria valid. Penggunaan LKS dikatakan efektif karena hasil belajar kognitif menunjukkan 94,4% siswa mencapai kriteria ketuntasan klasikal. Penggunaan LKS dikatakan praktis karena respon guru mencapai 75% masuk kategori praktis, sedangkan tanggapan siswa mencapai 80,5% masuk dalam kategori sangat praktis, 16,7% masuk dalam kategori praktis, dan 2,8% masuk dalam kategori cukup. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian di atas, dapat disimpulkan bahwa LKS berbasis guided inquiry valid, efektif dan praktis digunakan pada pembelajaran materi gerak tumbuhan. The results of cognitive learning eighth grade students of SMP Negeri 8 Semarang academic year 2014/2015 on a motion of plant material has not reached the classical completeness. This is due to the teaching materials used do not lead students to discover concepts, but only to give the concept. Therefore, it is necessary to have a model of learning and teaching materials to enhance the understanding of the concept that measures the cognitive learning. The problem can be overcome by learning to use the LKS-based guided inquiry in motion plant material. This research is the Research and Development (R & D) is modified. Small-scale trials conducted using 15 students drawn by stratified sampling, whereas large-scale trial using 36 students. The results showed that the development of LKS qualify as valid. Use of LKS is said to be effective for cognitive learning results showed 94.4% of pupils achieving the expected classical completeness. Use of LKS say practical because the response of teachers to achieve 75% categorized as practical, while the responses of students reached 80.5% in the category very practical, 16.7% in the category of practical, and 2.8% in the category enough. Based on the above results, it can be concluded that the LKS based guided inquiry valid., effective and practical to use learning materials plant motion.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh penggunaan penilaian autentik dalam pembelajaran biologi dengan inkuiri terbimbing terhadap hasil belajar peserta didik pada materi pokok sistem indera manusia. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian Quasi Experimental Design dengan pola  Nonequivalent control group design. Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah seluruh peserta didik kelas XI SMA Negeri 1 Karangdowo, Klaten, dengan sampel peserta didik kelas XI IPA 4 sebagai kelompok eksperimen dan kelas XI IPA 3 sebagai kelompok kontrol. Sampel diambil dengan teknik purposive sampling, yang didasarkan atas beberapa pertimbangan.  Hasil penelitian menunjukkan hasil belajar pada ranah pengetahuan, sikap, dan keterampilan kelas eksperimen lebih tinggi dibanding kelas kontrol. Rata-rata hasil belajar kelas eksperimen 72,94 (pengetahuan), 2,68 (sikap), 2,80 (keterampilan) sedangkan kelas kontrol 60,31 (pengetahuan), 2,25 (sikap), 2,53 (keterampilan). Hasil ini sudah mencapai target dari penelitian, berdasarkan uji hipotesis terdapat perbedaan yang signifikan, dengan nilai p value < α = 0,05. Hal ini menunjukkan penggunaan penilaian autentik dalam pembelajaran biologi dengan inkuiri terbimbing berpengaruh positif terhadap hasil belajar peserta didik.    This research aims to determine the effect of the use of authentic assessment in biology with guided inquiry learning on learning achievement of students in the subject matter of human sensory system. This research is a Quasi-Experimental Design with Nonequivalent pattern control group design. The population in this research were all students of class XI SMA Negeri 1 Karangdowo, Klaten, with a sample of students of class XI IPA 4 as the experimental group and class XI IPA 3 as the control group. Samples were taken by purposive sampling technique, which is based on several considerations. The results showed that the learning achievement in the realm of knowledge, attitudes, and skills experimental class is higher than the control class. An average of  experimental class learning achievement 72.94 (knowledge), 2.68 (attitude), 2.80 (skills) while the control class 60.31 (knowledge), 2.25 (attitude), 2.53 (skills). This result has already reached the target of research, based on hypothesis testing the effect, there are significant differences, with p value <α = 0.05. This shows that the use of authentic assessment in biology with guided inquiry learning positif effect on the learning achievement of students.
