Abstract

This study aims to determine the development of motor balance with deaf children's dance creation in Anak Hebat Kindergarten Semarang. This study uses a qualitative approach to the type of descriptive study. The data collected through interview techniques, observation, and data collection techniques (documents). The main informants in this study were 1 dance teacher and 2 class teachers, and the triangulation informants were 3 parents. The data analysis techniques used the theory of Milles and Huberman. The validity of the data uses the triangulation method. The results showed that dance motions for deaf children were repeated so that children could easily remember the motions. Dance motions that are taught can train children's motor balance such as jumping to the right and left with rotating arms and right and left legs raised one by one in turn, then there are circular motions by jumping with alternating legs, there are also tiptoe movements while the body bounces. These motions are motions that can train the balance of deaf children. There are two aspects, namely the creation of dance motions in deaf children and motor balance. Creation dance motion deaf children have a range of indicators of understanding of dance for deaf children, choreography forms of dance, characteristics of dance for children, the benefits of dance for deaf children. Motor balance also has a range of indicators namely understanding motor development, factors affecting motor development and elements of motor learning. The conclusion of this research is that dance learning is carried out continuously and motions that are easy and repetitive are important things that must be applied in dance learning for deaf children so that children easily understand and memorize. This study recommends that teachers should be even more varied in learning so that children do not get bored, in learning dance for deaf children, special techniques are reproduced again.

Abstract

This study aims to determine whether the application of a geometric mosaic can improve the spatial-visual intelligence of children aged 5-6 years. This research was conducted at Mutiara Hati kindergarten in Manyaran, Semarang by using a pre-experimental design method in the form of One Group Pretest-Posttest. The populations in this study were 45 children of class B in Mutiara Hati kindergarten in Manyaran, Semarang. The sampling technique in this study is purposive sampling, where the criteria for determining the sample are children who do not understand the criteria for spatial-visual ability. The sample used in this study was 30 children. The data from the pretest and posttest were processed using the SPSS application. The researcher also collected documentation that served as supporting data. The data results were obtained through statistical calculations through paired sample t-test. The results of the calculation of the hypothesis can be accepted then the value of tcount must be smaller than ttable (tcount <ttabel) and Sig. <0.05. The results show that the value of tcount <ttabel is -7,350 <1,697 and Sig. 0,000 <0.05 so that Ha can be accepted. Based on this description, it can be concluded that the geometric mosaic can improve the spatial-visual intelligence of children aged 5-6 years at Mutiara Hati kindergarten in Manyaran, Semarang.

Abstract

This study aims to determine whether the food creations activity can overcome the picky eater behavior of children aged 5-6 years. This research is a type of quantitative research using the Pre-Experimental Design method with the One Group Pretest-Posttest Design approach. The subjects in this study are children aged 5-6 years or TK B in TK Negeri Pembina, Pemalang Regency, totaling 30 children. The data collection technique used is an instrument in the form of a questionnaire using a Likert scale. Data analysis techniques are descriptive statistics and Paired Sample T-Test. All calculations are processed using IBM SPSS 20. Based on the results of the Paired Sample T-test calculation, the value of tcount > ttable (13.482 > 2.045) with a significance value of 0.000. Therefore, Ho is rejected and Ha is accepted. In other words, that there are differences in the average pretest and posttest results, which means that there is an influence on the activity of forming food creation in overcoming picky eater behavior of children aged 5-6 years. A significant difference can be seen from the value of sig (2 tailed) < 0.05 which is 0,000. This means that the application of activities to form food creations in this study can overcome the picky eater behavior of children aged 5-6 years. An increase in the mean value of picky eater behavior improvement in children aged 5-6 years before and after being given treatment to form food creation that is from 143.67 during pretest to 168.37 at posttest, resulting in an increase in scores of 24.70. Conclusions based on these data, there is a significant increase in the picky eater behavior of children aged 5-6 years at TK Negeri Pembina, Pemalang Regency after being treated with demonstration methods for forming food creations, and there are several other methods for overcoming picky eater behavior, including conversing questions and answers, storytelling, and role-playing.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of the Structural Analytic Synthetic method on the early reading ability in kindergarten-B-age children. The research approach used is a quantitative approach to the type of experimental approach. The research design used is research design from pre-experimental design is a one-group pretest-posttest design. The subjects in this study were kindergartners B in Sabilul Huda Kaloran Islamic Kindergarten, totaling 35 children. The data collection technique used is to scale the aspects of the development of early reading skills in kindergarten-B-age children with a total of 34 valid items that have previously been tested, so that they can be used in research. The data analysis techniques used in this study were descriptive statistical data analysis and hypothesis testing using paired sample t-test. All calculations were processed using IBM SPSS 20. Early reading ability of children in kindergarten-B-age before being given treatment in the very low category reached 14.5%, the low category reached 40%, the high category reached 45.7% and the very high category reached 0%. Whereas after being given treatment in the very low category reached 0%, the low category reached 5.7%, the high category reached 68.6% and the very high category reached 25.7%. This shows that there is an increase in the percentage of early reading skills in kindergarten-B-age children before and after treatment. Based on paired sample t-test calculation, it is known that the tcount = -16.002> ttable = 1.673 so that Ho is rejected and Ha is accepted, in other words, there are differences in the average pretest and posttest results, which means that there is an influence of structural analytic synthetic methods on the early reading ability of children in kindergarten-B-age in Sabilul Huda Kaloran Islamic Kindergarten.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine the influence of the students’ perceptions about Teacher Professional Educational Program (PPG) on the interest in becoming a certified teacher in the Early Childhood Teacher Education (PGPAUD) study program, faculty of education, UNNES. Students’ perceptions about PPG and interest in becoming certified teachers are interrelated. One of the requirements for someone wanting to become a professional teacher and having certification has to take PPG. The program is aimed at graduates of S1 / D4 education and non-education. The approach used is quantitative with survey methods. The populations of this study are the active students of PGPAUD UNNES 2017. The number of samples that have been taken using a proportional random sampling technique is 78 students from 3 classes. The data collection techniques used a questionnaire. All calculations use SPSS 24. Based on statistical calculations using Linear Regression, a significance value (Sig.) Of 0.00 is obtained, which means it is smaller than the significance level of 0.05 or 0.00 <0.05, then Ha is accepted. The results of the study using simple linear regression analysis showed there was an effect of 59.4% and the remaining 40.6% was influenced by other factors not covered in the study. This shows that students' perceptions about PPG have an influence on the interest in becoming a certified teacher. This research suggests that educational student graduates must be more enthusiastic and increase their confidence to be able to compete with non-education students to become certified, competent, and professional teachers.

The data collection method used in this study is a quantitative method, the data in the form of scores are taken using a ratio scale that is the scale of physical violence against early childhood. The analysis technique used is parametric statistics with the help of statistics on the SPSS 20.0 for Windows program. The results of t-test results of the t value are 3.842 and the significance value is 0.001, tcount> t table (3.842> 1.701) and p value <0.05 which is (0.001 <0.05). This means that there are differences in the level of physical violence against early childhood in terms of the age of married mothers in respondents who marry not in accordance with the marriage law (young age) higher physical violence than physical violence against early childhood, in respondents married mothers at the age of law- marriage law (ideal age).
