Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk memberikan informasi yang dapat digunakan sebagai dasar untuk kebijakan pembangunan daerah. Dengan mempertimbangkan karakteristik dan potensi sektor-sektor unggulan, Kabupaten Bekasi diharapkan dapat merancang strategi pembangunan yang lebih terarah untuk meningkatkan kesejahteraan masyarakat dan pertumbuhan ekonomi yang berkelanjutan. Laju pertumbuhan penduduk, perubahan struktur ekonomi, dan dampak pandemi COVID-19 turut memengaruhi kondisi ekonomi daerah. PDRB Kabupaten Bekasi terus mengalami peningkatan, dengan sektor industrip pengolahan menjadi kontributor utama. Berdasarkan metode analisis shift-share, Location Quotient (LQ), dan Klassen Typology menunjukkan bahwa sektor industri, terutama industri pengolahan, memiliki peran sebagai sektor utama di Kabupaten Bekasi. Skenario proyeksi PDRB hingga 2027 menggambarkan potensi pertumbuhan ekonomi yang bervariasi tergantung pada kondisi eksternal seperti stabilitas global dan pemulihan pasca-pandemi. Sektor pertanian, kehutanan, dan perikanan menunjukkan fluktuasi yang signifikan yang cenderung stabil dengan rata-rata 1.5 persen, sedangkan sektor perdagangan menunjukkan kesetabilan selama 8 tahun di angka 5 persen. Analisis konsumsi rumah tangga memperlihatkan peran utama dalam perekonomian, dengan kontribusi sebesar 35 persen meskipun terpengaruh penurunan daya beli selama pandemi.

Abstract

Purpose: This study aims to comprehensively examine the influence of work-life balance and job stress on employee performance, focusing on the mediating role of Organizational citizenship behavior.Design/Methodology/Approach: The data was collected by surveying 100 employees at a textile company in Bandung, Indonesia, and analyzed using Structural Equation Modeling (SEM) with Smart PLS 3.Findings: The results of this study show that work-life balance has a noteworthy influence on organizational citizenship behavior and employee performance. On the other hand, job stress only has a significant negative impact on organizational citizenship behavior, but not on employee performance. The study also demonstrates that organizational citizenship behavior has a positive and substantial effect on employee performance. Additionally, the findings suggest that organizational citizenship behavior mediates the relationship between work-life balance and job stress to employee performance.

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to analyze sustainability's competitive advantage in the face of technological change mediated by knowledge management and organizational culture. The method used in this study is descriptive verification with model 6 analysis tools from Hayes's theory. The unit of analysis is six private universities that have accreditation A, with 204 respondents consisting of top management, middle management, and low management. The results obtained from the research show that technological change is affecting the university's sustainability competitive advantage, which is mediated by knowledge management and organizational culture. Technological change mediated by knowledge management has a major influence on and contribution to the university's sustainability competitive advantage as compared to organizational culture.

Abstract

This study examines the effect of inflation as a proxy for country risk on the profitability of pharmaceutical companies and its implications for firm value, with profitability positioned as a mediating variable. The research adopts an explanatory quantitative approach using balanced panel data from eight pharmaceutical companies observed over an eleven-year period (2014–2024). Inflation data are obtained from official national statistics, while profitability and firm value are measured using return on equity (ROE) and price-to-book value (PBV), respectively. Panel data regression with a fixed effects model is employed, and the mediating role of profitability is tested using a stepwise approach supported by the Sobel test. The findings reveal that inflation has a positive and significant effect on profitability, and profitability has a positive and significant effect on firm value. Furthermore, the Sobel test confirms that profitability partially mediates the effect of inflation on firm value, indicating both direct and indirect transmission mechanisms. These results suggest that pharmaceutical firms are able to adapt to inflationary pressures through operational efficiency and profitability enhancement, which are subsequently rewarded by the market. The study contributes theoretically by integrating macroeconomic risk and firm-level performance in explaining firm value, and practically by providing insights for managers, investors, and policymakers in formulating strategies to manage inflationary risks in the pharmaceutical sector.

Abstract

This research aims to examine how leadership influences the performance of BUMDes Directors, mediated by Affective Commitment and Policy Implementation. BUMDes is a strategic business entity for the economic development and welfare of village communities.The study surveyed 253 advanced-category BUMDes directors in Riau Province, using SEM-PLS analysis. The findings indicate that leadership has a significant positive influence on Affective Commitment and Policy Implementation by the directors. Effective leadership shapes directors' affective commitment and encourages active participation in policy implementation and goal achievement. Leadership also directly influences BUMDes director performance, mediated by Affective Commitment and Policy Implementation. These findings highlight the vital role of leadership in enhancing BUMDes director performance through affective commitment and policy implementation. The research implications can guide decision-making and policy improvement related to BUMDes, as well as contribute to literature on the role of BUMDes in sustainable village development.
