Abstract

This study aims to analyze the influence of Perceived Organizational Support and Sense of Belonging on Teacher Empowerment among private elementary school teachers in Padang Utara District, Padang City. A quantitative explanatory research design was employed. The population consisted of 206 teachers, with 135 respondents selected using proportional stratified random sampling. Data were collected through structured questionnaires and analyzed using multiple linear regression with SPSS 26. The findings indicate that Perceived Organizational Support has a positive but not statistically significant effect on Teacher Empowerment (r = 0.161; R² = 2.6%). In contrast, Sense of Belonging shows a positive and significant effect (r = 0.222; R² = 4.9%). Simultaneously, both variables significantly influence Teacher Empowerment (r = 0.270; R² = 7.3%), although their combined contribution remains relatively low. Sense of Belonging is a more dominant factor in enhancing Teacher Empowerment compared to Perceived Organizational Support. Strengthening teachers’ emotional attachment to the organization is essential for improving empowerment.

Abstract

Global social changes, the intensive digitalization of educational practices following the COVID-19 pandemic, and the increasing demand for student readiness for professional careers have substantially driven the advancement of career guidance (CG) research. This scientific inquiry seeks to describe the epistemological framework, developmental trajectories, and scientific dynamics of career guidance research using a bibliometric methodology grounded in science mapping techniques. The investigation uses Scopus-indexed publications from 2019 to 2025, which are analyzed using quantitative bibliometric methods and network visualization facilitated by VOSviewer software. The analysis reveals that CG publications exhibit an S-shaped logistic growth pattern, suggesting an early acceleration phase. Publication rates were modest from 2019 to 2021 but surged sharply from 2022 to 2025, driven by growing global interest in technology-based career guidance services. Citation analysis indicates that scientific impact peaked in 2022, with the subsequent decline attributed to a citation lag rather than a decline in research quality. Projections indicate a saturation point of approximately 4,020 documents, with peak production anticipated at approximately 180 publications annually in 2035. The dataset comprises 34,476 references, highlighting the strong theoretical foundations of the CG field and its multidisciplinary scope. Thematic mapping illustrates three main categories: psychological dimensions of counseling, learner-centered education, and the integration of technology into career services. These results demonstrate that career guidance (CG) research is a nascent domain ripe for theoretical and methodological investigation. In summary, this study provides strategic insights into the development of career guidance scholarship and the adaptive development of career services in response to the demands of 21st-century education.

Abstract

This sociocultural reality cannot be separated from the learning process, as it shapes students' perspectives, motivations, and learning needs. Learning processes that ignore local realities tend to lose relevance, resulting in a disconnect between the theory they learn and their daily lives. This study aims to understand the meaningful learning experiences of students at STKIP Pesisir Selatan through the perspective of educational phenomenology. The focus lies on how students interpret their learning experiences inside and outside the classroom, as well as the factors that shape meaning in the learning process. The phenomenological approach explores students’ subjective experiences in depth. The findings show that meaningful learning depends not only on course material but also on connections to the local cultural context, social support, the lecturer’s role as a facilitator, and students’ intrinsic motivation. This article contributes to the development of more humanistic, contextual, and reflective learning practices in teacher education institutions.

Abstract

Objective: One of the problems with the effectiveness of student learning is the suboptimal critical use of digital information, so strengthening digital literacy is needed to support more effective learning. This study aims to determine the effect of digital literacy on the effectiveness of learning of Educational Administration students at Padang State University. The method used is quantitative with a correlational approach. The study population was 621 students, with a sample of 89 people selected using Simple Random Sampling. Data were collected through a Likert scale questionnaire and analyzed with descriptive statistics including validity tests, normality reliability, simple linear regression tests, t-tests, and coefficients of determination (R2). Results: The results showed that digital literacy was in the good category (mean TCR = 85.14), with the highest score in digital security and ethics (87.05) and the lowest in digital content creation (83.55). Learning effectiveness was in the "good" category (mean TCR = 82.93), with the highest score in learning interaction (83.89) and the lowest in learning activity (82.32). Regression analysis shows that digital literacy has a positive and significant effect on learning effectiveness (β = 0.626; R2 0.529; t_hitung = 9.887). Novelty: This finding confirms that increasing digital literacy, especially in the aspects of accessing and managing information, digital communication, digital ethical security, and problem solving, can directly strengthen the effectiveness of student learning.
