Abstract

Media adalah mitra humas yang harus dipandang sebagai kolaborator yang saling mendukung. Untuk memenuhi tugas dan peran tersebut, dibutuhkan manajemen humas yang dapat mempengaruhi konten media sehingga dapat terhubung dengan masyarakat. Salah satunya dengan memanfaatkan media social yang menandai perkembangan teknologi diera digital saat ini. Penulisan artikel ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis dampak hubungan masyarakat terhadap konten media. Artikel  ini menggunakan metode kajian literature atau studi pustaka dengan menganalisis artikel penelitian yang terdiri dari 11 artikel nasional dan 10 artikel internasional yang relevan.  Berdasarkan hasil analisis artikel-artikel tersebut,ditemukan beberapa dampak hubungan dampak hubungan masyarakat terhadap konten media. Dampak tersebut diantaranya, (1) Membangun citra positif organisasi, (2)  Menjadikan suatu kendali dalam mengatur arus informasi, (3) menjaga hubungan yang sehat dalam organisasi. Media sosial, yang awalnya digunakan untuk komunikasi dan hiburan, kini memiliki dampak signifikan dalam berbagai industri. Sebagai platform interaktif, media sosial memungkinkan humas pemerintah berinteraksi secara langsung dengan masyarakat, tetapi juga menghadirkan tantangan baru dalam menciptakan konten yang sesuai dan diminati oleh publik. Studi literatur menunjukkan bahwa pemanfaatan media sosial oleh pemerintah masih perlu ditingkatkan, dengan fokus pada strategi humas digital.Pentingnya hubungan yang sehat antara humas dan media dalam menjaga kredibilitas dan objektivitas pemberitaan menjadi inti dari materi ini.

Abstract

AbstrakSMA Bukit Barisan merupakan sekolah swasta di kota Padang yang masih kurang dalam pemanfaatan media digital website untuk mempromosikan citra positif kepada masyarakat luas. Pemanfaatan media digital website sebagai alat komunikasi dan informasi menjadi penting dalam konteks administrasi sekolah. Website bukanlah hanya sebagai alat administrasi tetapi juga sebagai platform komunikasi yang sangat efektif antara sekolah, orang tua, siswa dan masyarakat. Pengabdian Kepada Masyarakat ini bertujuan 1) Memberikan pelatihan bagi Tenaga Administrasi Sekolah dan guru agar dapat meningkatkan softskill digitalisasi sehingga mampu mengelola website sekolah dengan menyediakan berbagai informasi terkini terkait keunggulan sekolah dan dikemas dengan tampilan yang menarik. 2) Meningkatkan kemampuan guru dalam menulis artikel berita yang akan di publikasikan pada website sekolah. Pelatihan ini diikuti oleh seluruh guru dan staf yang berjumlah 20 orang. Pelatihan ini terdiri dari beberapa sesi yaitu, perencanaan, pelaksanaan, dan evaluasi. Hasil pelatihan terdapat perubahan dalam peningkatan kemampuan guru dan staf dalam peningkatan skill mengelola website dan menulis artikel berita yang diperoleh dari hasil posttest dan kuesioner yang telah dikerjakan. Disimpulkan bahwa 70% guru dan staf sekolah telah meningkat kompetensinya dalam pengelolaan website yang diukur melalui post-test yang diberikan kepada mereka terkait penulisan artikel dan pengungagahan yang dilakukan masing-masing individu ke dalam website sekolah. Kata kunci: pengelolaan; media digital website; branding sekolah AbstractSMA Bukit Barisan is a private school in Padang that still lacks the utilization of digital media websites to promote a positive image to the wider community. The use of digital media websites as a tool for communication and information has become important in the context of school administration. The website is not just an administrative tool but also a highly effective communication platform between the school, parents, students, and the community. This Community Service Program aims to 1) Provide training for School Administration Staff and teachers to enhance their digitalization soft skills, enabling them to manage the school website by providing various up-to-date information related to the school's strengths, presented in an attractive format. 2) Improving teachers' ability to write news articles that will be published on the school website. This training was attended by all 20 teachers and staffs. The training consisted of several sessions, namely observation, materials, and evaluation. The training results show changes in the improvement of teachers' and staff's abilities in enhancing skills to manage websites and write news articles, as obtained from the posttest results and questionnaires that have been completed. It was concluded that 70% of teachers and school staff have improved their competence in website management as measured by the post-test given to them regarding article writing and uploading by each individual to the school website. Keywords: media digital; website; school branding

Abstract

Teacher performance as State Civil Apparatus (ASN) plays an important role in improving the quality of education. However, the implementation of the E-SIKAP application in elementary schools still faces several problems, such as delays in reporting, inconsistency in task implementation, and suboptimal supervision. Therefore, this study aimed to determine the effect of supervision on ASN performance through the E-SIKAP application in public elementary schools throughout Batang Anai District. This study employed a quantitative approach with a correlational method. The population consisted of ASN working in public elementary schools, with 168 respondents selected using proportional random sampling. Data were collected through validated and reliable questionnaires and analyzed using descriptive statistics, normality tests, linearity tests, simple linear regression, t-tests, and coefficient of determination tests using SPSS 31 for Windows. The findings showed that supervision was categorized as very good, with a Total Respondent Achievement Level (TCR) of 91.21%, while ASN performance through the E-SIKAP application was also categorized as very good. Hypothesis testing indicated that supervision had a significant effect on ASN performance, with a significance value of <0.001. The coefficient of determination (R²) was 0.922, indicating that supervision contributed 92.2% to ASN performance. The study concludes that effective and technology-based supervision can improve ASN discipline, responsibility, and work accountability. Therefore, school principals are expected to strengthen supervision and optimize the implementation of E-SIKAP to improve ASN performance in elementary schools.

Abstract

Employee performance is an important factor in supporting the effectiveness of public sector organizations, including regional education institutions. One factor that is assumed to influence employee performance is leadership style. This study aimed to determine and analyze the effect of leadership style on employee performance at the Department of Education and Culture of Bukittinggi City. The study employed a quantitative approach with a causal associative design. The population consisted of 72 employees, with 61 respondents selected using the Proportional Random Sampling technique. Data were collected through questionnaires using a Likert scale, while data analysis was conducted using descriptive analysis, prerequisite tests, and simple linear regression with the assistance of SPSS version 26. The results indicated that leadership style had a positive and significant effect on employee performance, with a significance value of 0.004 < 0.05. The leadership style variable obtained a Respondent Achievement Level score of 81.80% and was categorized as good, while employee performance obtained a score of 85.20% and was also categorized as good. The coefficient of determination showed that leadership style contributed 13.2% to employee performance, while the remaining 86.8% was influenced by other factors outside this study. The novelty of this study lies in the use of the behavioral approach in examining leadership style within the context of regional educational organizations.

Abstract

Library management is an important aspect in improving the quality of school library services. However, several problems are still found in school libraries, such as inadequate facilities and infrastructure, unsystematic collection arrangement, and library services that are not yet optimal. The results showed that library management was in the fairly good category with a Respondent Achievement Level (TCR) of 76.06%, while library services were in the fairly good category with a TCR of 73.93%. The Pearson Product Moment correlation test showed a correlation coefficient value of 0.329 with a significance value of 0.000 < 0.05, indicating that there was a positive and significant relationship between library management and library services. In addition, the t-test results showed that the t-count value was 5.074 greater than the t-table value of 1.971 (5.074 > 1.971), meaning that Ha was accepted and Ho was rejected. Therefore, it can be concluded that the better the library management, including planning, organizing, implementation, and supervision, the better the quality of library services received by students.

Abstract

SMPN 4 Kubung teachers already have good basic competencies but are lacking in maximizing technology with limited training. Apart from that, the school already has classroom facilities equipped with projectors and infocus screens, as well as the availability of other devices such as 15 units of computers, 15 units of chrome books and 82 units of tablets. So with the availability of these facilities their use has not been maximized in the learning process. The process, through the PKM program implemented, namely the use of technology supported by smart boards and AI, will create more interactive digitalization era learning. Method of implementing socialization service, training for 15 teachers, application of AI technology in the learning process at SMPN 4 Kubung, mentoring and evaluation. The implementation of the service program at SMPN 4 Kubung with a focus on improving real action documents showed significant results. The results of accurate data analysis from the implementation of community service at SMPN 4 Kubung show that the application of AI technology significantly improves the quality of real action documents prepared by teachers. By utilizing applications such as ChatGPT, Gemini, Canva, Quizizz, and Wordwall, teachers can produce more structured and informative documents. The community service activity with the title "Improving the Quality of Real Action on the Merdeka Teaching Ceiling through the Use of Artificial Intelligence (AI)" at SMPN 4 Kubung has succeeded in achieving several goals. increasing teachers' understanding of AI, increasing teachers' ability to integrate AI in learning, improving the quality of teachers' real actions, increasing the effectiveness and efficiency of the learning process at SMPN 4 Kubung.
