Abstract

This study aims to examine the effectiveness of the Nubdzatul Bayan mentoring program as a medium to strengthen students' basic competencies in understanding Kitab Kuning at Ma'had Aly. This program is designed to improve students' understanding of the basics of Arabic science and Kitab Kuning learning methodology, which are often the main obstacles in understanding classical texts. The research method used is a qualitative approach with in-depth interviews and participatory observation to collect data on the implementation and impact of the mentoring program on students. The results of the study indicate that the Nubdzatul Bayan mentoring program is effective in improving students' basic competencies, especially in terms of mastery of nahwu science which is the basis for studying Kitab Kuning. This program also succeeded in increasing students' confidence in understanding Kitab Kuning texts. The implications of this study are the importance of developing a structured mentoring program based on students' basic needs to improve their understanding of Kitab Kuning, and can be applied in other Islamic boarding schools as a more effective teaching model.

Abstract

This study aims to examine how AI-driven digital marketing contributes to smart school branding, particularly in enhancing institutional reputation and student enrollment in a selected senior high school context. The research employs a qualitative case study approach to explore the implementation process, stakeholder experiences, and outcomes of integrating artificial intelligence into digital marketing practices. Data were collected through in-depth interviews, non-participant observation, and documentation analysis, and analyzed using data condensation, data reduction, data display, and conclusion drawing techniques. The findings indicate that AI-driven digital marketing improves branding effectiveness through optimized content management, enhanced communication efficiency, and better engagement with prospective students. The integration of AI tools such as analytics systems and chatbots supports faster information delivery and more structured promotional strategies, resulting in increased digital visibility and higher enrollment interest. However, the study also shows that human oversight remains essential to ensure alignment with institutional values and communication quality. The implications suggest that AI serves as a strategic enabler in educational branding, offering both theoretical enrichment for digital marketing studies and practical guidance for schools in adopting technology-driven branding systems.

Abstract

This study aims to explore the implementation of experiential marketing within the boarding school ecosystem and identify the key factors that enhance parental loyalty. Employing a qualitative case study approach, data were gathered through observations, in-depth interviews, and documentation, and subsequently analyzed using data reduction, presentation, and interpretive conclusion techniques. Findings indicate that experiential marketing is not formally structured but naturally embedded in students’ spiritual, social, and academic experiences. Critical success factors include firsthand student experiences, service quality, effective communication, adherence to religious values, and the positive institutional image conveyed through documentation. These elements contribute to heightened parental satisfaction, trust, engagement, and loyalty, often manifested through recommendations and continued enrollment. The study underscores that a comprehensive, experience-based marketing strategy grounded in religious and educational values is more effective for fostering long-term parental loyalty than traditional marketing approaches, offering a practical framework for boarding schools seeking sustainable relationship-building strategies while enhancing their reputation and perceived educational quality.

Abstract

This study examines the role of economics in shaping effective marketing strategies for Islamic educational institutions, particularly in building public trust and long-term loyalty. The increasing competition among educational providers and the growing expectations of Muslim communities necessitate a strategic integration of economic principles with Islamic values. This research aims to analyze how value-based marketing, transparency, and Islamic branding contribute to trust formation and loyalty sustainability. Employing a non-empirical design, the study adopts a conceptual and theoretical approach through a systematic review of relevant literature in Islamic marketing, educational management, and behavioral economics. The analytical framework integrates theories of Islamic marketing ethics, experiential marketing, and institutional trust to construct a comprehensive model. The findings indicate that the incorporation of Sharia-compliant marketing principles, supported by transparency and accountability, strengthens institutional credibility and enhances stakeholder engagement. Furthermore, the study highlights that trust acts as a mediating variable linking marketing strategies to long-term loyalty, while consistent value delivery ensures sustainability. The discussion emphasizes the importance of aligning economic strategies with religious and cultural expectations to achieve competitive advantage. These insights contribute to the development of a more ethical and sustainable marketing paradigm in Islamic education.
