Abstract

Produktivitas usaha rumah tangga berbasis olahan kelapa masih menghadapi berbagai kendala, terutama pada proses pemarutan yang dilakukan secara manual sehingga membutuhkan waktu dan tenaga yang cukup besar. Kondisi ini berdampak pada rendahnya efisiensi produksi dan terbatasnya kapasitas usaha masyarakat. Kegiatan ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan produktivitas ibu rumah tangga berwirausaha melalui pemanfaatan alat parut modifikasi sebagai teknologi tepat guna di Desa Terusan, Kecamatan Karang Jaya, Kabupaten Musi Rawas Utara. Metode pelaksanaan dilakukan melalui sosialisasi, pelatihan penggunaan alat, dan pendampingan kepada mitra. Hasil kegiatan menunjukkan bahwa penggunaan alat parut modifikasi mampu meningkatkan efisiensi proses produksi, mempercepat waktu pemarutan kelapa, serta meningkatkan kapasitas produksi usaha rumah tangga. Selain itu, mitra menunjukkan antusiasme tinggi dan peningkatan keterampilan dalam penggunaan teknologi tepat guna. Dengan demikian, pemanfaatan alat parut modifikasi dapat menjadi solusi inovatif dalam meningkatkan produktivitas dan pemberdayaan ekonomi ibu rumah tangga berwirausaha di Desa Terusan.

Abstract

The instructional impact of learning using an ethnoscience approach is often ignored, even though its contribution to students' creative thinking skills is very much needed. The research aims to analyze the direct contribution to students' creative thinking skills. Quasi-experimental research method with pre-test post-test control group design. Data collection used a standardized TTCT (Torrance Test Creative Thinking) question instrument. The analysis technique uses the MANOVA F test. The results show that learning with an ethnoscience approach can contribute to student's creative thinking skills based on the MANOVA f test that all components are significant (Sig. < 0.05). Learning with an ethnoscience approach significantly influences each indicator of Fluency, Flexibility, Originality, Elaboration, and Redefinition with a P-Value of 0.000. The largest contribution is the R-squared value of 0.568 for the experimental class and 0.561 for the control class in the Originality indicator. The coefficient of determination is based on the R2 value (0.568)2: 0.32 x 100%: 32% of learning using an ethnoscience approach to creative thinking skills. Students' ability to develop original thinking has more dominant results compared to other indicators of creative thinking skills. Recommendations for the importance of learning design that considers students' learning needs and cultural backgrounds. The ethnoscience approach can provide students with opportunities to think contextually in solving problems so that creative thinking skills are easier to improve.

Abstract

Contemporary chemistry education aims to help students connect abstract concepts to real-world contexts. However, research indicates that many students continue to struggle to understand scientific literacy and its significance. The Socioscientific Issues (SSI) approach is implemented as a pedagogical strategy to bridge the gap between societal concerns and scientific content in educational settings. This study examines the impact of the SSI approach on high school students’ chemistry learning outcomes. A Systematic Literature Review (SLR) was conducted in accordance with PRISMA guidelines, utilising Google Scholar to identify relevant literature published between 2020 and 2025. From an initial pool of 200 publications, 14 articles were selected for in-depth analysis. The results demonstrate that the SSI approach is highly effective in enhancing students’ learning abilities. The majority of research emphasises Critical Thinking (43%). Scientific Literacy (36%), whereas Argumentation (14%) and Creative Thinking (7%) receive comparatively less attention. Green Chemistry emerges as the predominant topic, accounting for 65% of the studies. At the same time, subjects such as Acid-Base and Rate of Reaction are underrepresented. The SSI approach contributes to the development of Higher Order Thinking Skills (HOTS), motivation, and scientific understanding. To further cultivate these competencies, it is recommended that SSI be integrated into a broader range of chemistry topics, with increased emphasis on creative thinking and advanced argumentation..

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh model Problem Based Learning (PBL) terhadap peningkatan kemampuan berpikir kritis siswa kelas IV SD Negeri 23 Lubuk Linggau pada pembelajaran IPAS. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif dengan metode pre-eksperimen dan desain one group pretest-posttest design. Populasi dan sampel dalam penelitian ini adalah seluruh siswa kelas IV yang berjumlah 19 siswa dengan teknik total sampling. Instrumen yang digunakan berupa tes essay sebanyak 7 soal yang telah diuji validitas dan reliabilitasnya. Teknik analisis data menggunakan uji normalitas dan uji-t pada taraf signifikan 0,05. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa rata-rata nilai pretest sebesar 65 dan rata-rata posttest meningkat menjadi 82,52. Hasil pengujian hipotesis diperoleh thitung = 10,28 dan ttabel = 1,729 sehingga thitung > ttabel. Dengan demikian Ha diterima dan Ho ditolak. Hal ini menunjukkan bahwa penggunaan model Problem Based Learning (PBL) berpengaruh signifikan terhadap peningkatan kemampuan berpikir kritis siswa pada pembelajaran IPAS. Persentase ketuntasan belajar siswa mencapai 89,48%. Oleh karena itu, model Problem Based Learning dapat digunakan sebagai alternatif pembelajaran inovatif untuk meningkatkan kemampuan berpikir kritis siswa sekolah dasar.
