Abstract

Perencanaan jaringan telekomunikasi merupakan hal yang sangat menentukan dalam kualitas sinyal pada jaringan yang diterima oleh pelanggam. Permasalahan yang sering terjadi adalah kualitas level sinyal coverage yang tidak merata terutama pada kondisi dalam gedung (Indoor). Sehingga kondisi dalam bangunan memerlukan perancanaan khusus untuk memastikan kondisi kualitas sinyal agar tidak terdapat blank spot. Pada penelitian ini merencanaan jaringan indoor 4G LTE frekuensi 1800 MHz dengan menggunakan model propagasi COST-231 pada gedung Laboratorium Fakultas Kedokteran Universitas Muhammadiyah Palembang. Penelitian ini menggunakan software radiowave propagation simulator. Hasil dari penelitian ini yaitu dengan perbedaan power transmit (2 antenna vertikal) menunjukkan bahwa semakin tinggi nilai power transmit, maka nilai RSRP semakin baik. Akan tetapi nilai power transmit tidak mempengaruhi baik atau buruknya kualitas sinyal SIR.Pada analisa jumlah antenna yaitu 2 antenna, 3 anntena dan 4 antenna menunjukkan bahwa semakin banyak antenna yang digunakan pada gedung, maka nilai RSRP akan semakin baik, akan tetapi nilai SIR akan semakin jelek karena efek Interferensi antar antenna.

Abstract

Water is one of the most widely used natural products by humans, such as for daily needs for drinking, cooking, bathing, washing and others, even industry, agriculture, offices all need water. Water is a basic human need, but it is still found in some areas with limited and difficult to reach water sources. This study aims to analyze the performance of photovoltaic (solar panels) and the results of the electric pump in the implementation of a solar power generation system (PLTS). In this study, designing a solar power plant (PLTS) that is connected to a solar charge controller and connected directly to a water pump system using a battery as a source. Based on the results of the study, it shows that the higher the solar radiation, the higher the output power of the 200 Wp PV module. Likewise, changes in reservoir height greatly affect changes in water discharge and currents. The higher the reservoir well distance, the smaller the water discharge and the higher the reservoir well distance also affects the increase in current.

Abstract

The development of telecommunications technology has developed very rapidly. This is in line with the increase in internet data traffic which is growing tremendously. The use of the Internet has been used in all layers of the age segment both the older generation to the younger generation. Global competition in the future is very tight and required knowledge of technology, especially telecommunications technology. This is the basis of community service activities for young people to be given knowledge and education about telecommunications technology and its development and to prepare young people to welcome the 5G era to have competitiveness to face the competition map going forward. In this dedication activity, the method used is direct material exposure to students with the implementation of pre and post-tests as material for evaluating activities. Community service activities carried out in Palembang Muhammadiyah 6 Junior High School with a duration of community service activities for 1 day. The number of students who took part in the service was 60 people. In this service, it was found that almost all students have used the Internet with various uses both in the use of email, social media and social messenger, where Facebook is the most favorite social media for junior high school students. From the results of the pre and post-test evaluation, it was found that the level of student retention regarding telecommunications has increased.

Abstract

Indonesia has had a lot of changes that have occurred in society. Especially during the current Covid -19 Pandemic. All activities from the process of school, buying, and selling among the community are often carried out online or work from home. The economic income of the family, community, and government has also decreased. The existence of Internet facilities can greatly assist all people in carrying out economic activities to be able to survive during the pandemic. Even these activities are carried out online or still carried out at home. By utilizing social media that is facilitated by the internet, people can continue to carry out buying and selling activities to maintain economic income through online. Here are social media that can be used, namely; Instagram, Facebook, Whats up, and e-mail. Thus, from the use of social media, it can still help the business income even in the pandemic of Covid -19.

Abstract

Propagation modeling is the most important part of mobile wireless network planning. Wireless network planning requires an accurate calculation of the path, which depends on different environmental conditions. It requires accurate path loss modeling of the characteristics of a specific region. The study aimed to obtain a path loss propagation model by modifying the ECC model and using linear, logarithmic regression in lowland areas. The measurement used drive test method, located in the Jakabaring area that represented the lowland area. This research used four existing path loss models, namely Okumura-Hatta, COST-Hatta, Ericsson Model, and ECC Model. It was found that the Okumura-Hatta model had the largest RMSE value, 34.90, followed by the Ericsson model, 27.07, while the ECC model had the smallest RMSE value, 8.43. The ECC model required to be modified using logarithmic, linear regression to obtain the proposed model. The results of the evaluation showed that the proposed model improved with RMSE 4.93, MAPE 2.71, and MAD 3.91, whereas the values of the existing ECC Model before modification were 8.43 for RMSE, 4.72 for MAPE and 7.09 for MAD. The proposed model provided an accurate prediction of the path loss propagation in a lowland environment. The results of the study can be used for planning engineers to plan, design, and implement the wireless communication networks in lowland area conditions.

Abstract

Penggunaan daya listrik di rumah tangga selama ini hanya dapat dilihat melalui alat ukur kWh meter yang didistribusikan oleh PLN. Penggunaan alat tersebut tidak memberikan informasi tentang berapa besar daya listrik yang digunakan secara real-time. kWh meter hanya menunjukkan jumlah daya kumulatif yang terpakai. Oleh karena itu, diperlukan alat yang dapat memperlihatkan penggunaan daya listrik secara real-time, sehingga memudahkan penggunauntuk memantau konsumsi energi listrik. Tujuan penelitian adalah memonitoring beban listrik rumah tangga menggunakan arduino NodeMCU ESP8266 secara real-time. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini terdiri dari 4 tahapan, yaitu : 1). Pemilihan peralatan software dan hardware, 2). Perancangan sistem, 3). Pembuatan program, dan 4). Pengujian alat. Hasil dari pengujian alat menggunakan beban induktif berupa lampu LED 15 Watt sebanyak 2 buah dan beban resistif berupa setrika listrik yang diset pada titik panas maksimum, alat bekerja dengan baik dan mampu membaca besaran arus dan daya yang digunakan pada saat pengkondisian ON terhadap beban induktif dan beban resistif, tingkat akurasi alat dalam membaca berkisar 96% sampai dengan 98%.

Abstract

Propagasi radio memilki peranan yang sangat penting dalam perkembangan jaringan telekomunikasi. Sinyal yang ditransmisikan oleh pengirim ke penerima mengalami redaman yang mengurangi kuat sinyal pada sisi penerima. Redaman yang terjadi pada saat perambatan gelombang di sebabkan oleh Large Scale Fading yang disebabkan oleh pengaruh benda dan bangunan yang ada disekitarnya. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk membandingkan karakteristik path loss propagasi terhadap beberapa parameter yang ada pada sisi pengiriman maupun penerima serta membandingkan model propagasi large scale yang digunakan saat ini dalam jaringan LTE (Long Term Evolution). Simulasi dilakukan dengan dengan menggunakan Model propagasi Okumura-Hata dan Cost-231 Hata serta menganalisa pengaruh path loss berdasarkan perubahan frekuensi, ketinggian BTS dan juga perbedaan karakteristik wilayah yaitu urban, sub-urban dan rural. Hasil dari penelitian menunjukkan bahwa pada pemodelan Okumura-Hata dan Cost-Hata mempunyai profil path loss yang hampir saya yaitu penggunaan frekuensi yang semakin tinggi, path loss yang dihasilkan semakin besar. Begitu juga dengan ketinggian antenna pemancar, semakin tinggi antenna pengirim maka path loss yang dihasilkan semakin kecil. Dari sisi karakteritik wilayah meunjukkan bahwa path loss yang dihasilkan pada daerah urban lebih tinggi dibandingkan dengan daerah sub-urban maupun rural area dikarenakan wilayah urban memiliki struktur bangunan yang lebih tinggi dan padat.

Abstract

Kegiatan manusia dalam menggunakan listrik dari waktu ke waktu akan mengalami pertumbuhan. Pertumbuhan penduduk, pertumbuhan perumahan dan pertumbuhan ekonomi suatu wilayah diyakini sebagai salah satu faktor yang mempengaruhi meningkatnya konsumsi energi listrik. Salah satu komponen penyalur tersebut adalah gardu induk. PT. Perusahaan Listrik Negara (PLN) sebagai pemasok tegangan listrik perlu mengevalusi transformator yang ada pada gardu induk untuk melayani kebutuhan beban listrik konsumen. Tujuan penelitian mengevaluasi transformator pada gardu induk dengan memprediksi beban konsumen, dan berapa besar total bisnis (target) manajemen yang dapat ditanggung transformator dengan kapasitas terpasang sehingga diharapkan tidak terjadi pemadaman energi listrik dikarenakan kapasitas transformator gardu induk tidak mampu menanggung besarnya permintaan konsumen. Metode tahapan 1.) Analisa data awal 2.) trend moment 3.) Roll-up 4.) Force-down 5.) Analisa hasil. Hasil perhitungan menunjukan pada bulan-ke 12, nilai roll-up forecast sebesar Rp 780.787.158.836 disisi lain total bisnis manajemen ditetapkan  sebesar Rp1.000.000.000.000. Untuk total bisnis manajamen  yang telah ditetapkan diperkirakan pada bulan ke-40 target tersebut tercapai dengan hasil roll up sebesar Rp 1.006.802.944.527

Abstract

The 4G network has the advantage of accessing data at a higher speed compared to its predecessor, namely 3G. The purpose of this is to see the fluctuation of LTE-1800 MHz signal in the offshore area then modify the Ericsson propagation modeling to get the results with real conditions (real) and accurate. As well as making comparisons of calculation results from existing Ericsson Propagation modeling and comparisons of the results of modifying modeling that can. The method used in this research is four stages: 1). determination of initial data, 2). tools and materials, 3). data grouping and 4). pathloss calculation. The research was conducted in a coastal area off the shore in Panjang district, Bandar Lampung district. Testing the quality of the 4G-LTE network in offshore coastal areas is carried out by measuring several important influencing parameters such as RSRP (Reference Signal Recived Power). All activities are carried out using software devices. Probe by wawe. Analysis of the results before the value 173.5986043 dB obtained from the modeling results from the accurate results of 16.48853263 dB in this calculation using the Ericsson propagation model.

Abstract

The telecommunication has a tremendous improvement in terms of data rates and bandwidth requiring sufficient frequency allocation and wideband spectrum availability. The millimeter-wave frequency band is one of the solution to these requirements, however communications in this band is facing new challenges on the climate effect to the channel propagation  In this paper, we propose a 5G channel model considering the effect of humidity based on the characteristic of the natural environment of Palembang city. The channel model is represented by power levels and delay called a Power Delay Profile (PDP and is derived based on a series of computer simulations using parameters of nature in Palembang. The 5G channel model is important to further derive the outage performance to be used as the theoretical performance of 5G in Palembang since the the Shannon Channel Capacity Theorem is involved in the derivation. We conduct a series of computer simulations to evaluate the validity of the proposed channel model and its characteristics. We found that humidity affect to the performances, where high humidity makes the performances of outage and BER slightly worse, although the effect may be ignored for some applications. The results of this paper are expected to be the references for the development and implementation of 5G Networks especially at the mm-Wave band in Palembang.
