Abstract

This study explores parents' perceptions of the impact of gadgets on children's development after preschool at PAUD IT Baitul Izzah Bengkulu City. The research method is qualitative with a phenomenological approach. The results of the study found six interrelated themes about the impact of gadgets on children's development. The first theme is meaning for parents about giving gadgets to children; the second theme shows the content opened by children on gadgets. The third theme is the duration of using gadgets for children aged 4-6. years, the fourth theme is control over the use of devices in children, and the fifth theme is the impact of machines on child development. In conclusion, the use of gadgets in children has a positive and negative effect on child development. Keywords: Children, Covid-19, Device, Parents, Pandemic, Development

Abstract

Perawat memegang peran krusial dalam memberikan perawatan kepada pasien dengan gangguan jiwa. Mereka harus berurusan dengan tantangan unik yang muncul dalam lingkungan kesehatan jiwa, seperti perilaku pasien yang kadang sulit dipahami dan situasi yang sering kali menghadirkan tekanan dan stres tambahan. Stres kerja adalah masalah umum yang dihadapi oleh perawat di berbagai jenis fasilitas kesehatan, dan tingkat stres kerja yang tinggi dapat berdampak negatif pada kualitas perawatan yang diberikan. Tujuan dari penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui hubungan stres kerja dengan tindakan caring perawat di RSKJ Soeprapto Bengkulu tahun 2023. Metode penelitian kuantitatif dengan pendekatan cross sectional. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan perilaku caring erat kaitannya dengan stres kerja seorang perawat. Dari penelitian ini, dapat disimpulkan bahwa ada hubungan antara stress kerja dengan caring perawat di RSKJ Soeprapto Bengkulu tahun 2023.

Abstract

Aromatherapy is one of the non-pharmacological interventions that nurses pay attention to.** Aromatherapy is a healing method that uses highly concentrated essential oils with fragrant aromas extracted from plant essences. The primary components of the oils provide a distinct aroma or scent, which is obtained from a specific plant (Geddes, 2000). Aromatherapy is composed of various types of volatile plants extracted from sources such as flowers, leaves, wood, roots, bark, and other plant parts. In more detail, aromatherapy is a form of treatment using volatile plant aromas (Yoshiko and Purwoko, 2016). Aromatherapy can come in the form of liquid or aromatherapy candles. Naturally derived aromatherapy candles are preferable compared to synthetic air fresheners, which may actually harm the health of those who inhale them (Minah et al., 2017).Coffee-scented aromatherapy candles can be made by coffee farmers as an additional product, besides coffee as a beverage. Roasted coffee, once ground into powder, can be combined with wax to create coffee-scented candles. Attractive production and packaging can increase the selling value of coffee-scented aromatherapy candles, especially if they are used in patient interventions in hospitals.This community service activity in the field of entrepreneurship aims to develop coffee products into coffee-scented aromatherapy candles and train students to become entrepreneurs and creative product developers. The target audience for this activity is nursing students at the Bengkulu Polytechnic of Health and coffee farmers.

Abstract

The psychological condition of a person who is full of fear and worry about something that is not certain will happen. Anxiety is a description of excessive worry accompanied by responses in the form of behavioral, cognitive, affective, psychological and physiological changes. The aim of the research was to determine the impact of perceptual stimulation group activity therapy to reduce anxiety in the elderly. The research design is a quasi experiment with a pre-post test with control group design. The sampling technique was quota sampling with a total of 60 respondents, consisting of 30 intervention group respondents and 30 control group respondents. The intervention group was given perception stimulation group activity therapy for 3 days, while the control group was given deep breathing therapy for 3 days. This research instrument uses the Hamilton Anxiety Rating Scale (HARS) questionnaire. Normality test results with a value of 0.0001 ? 0.05 data are not normal, so a non-parametric test with Wilcoxon is carried out and continued with the Mann-Whitney statistical test. The statistical test results obtained a p-value of 0.000 (

Abstract

ABSTRAK Bullying di sekolah dasar masih menjadi permasalahan yang berdampak pada kondisi psikologis, perkembangan sosial, dan prestasi belajar siswa. Keterbatasan media pembelajaran yang menarik menyebabkan pemahaman siswa terhadap konsep anti-bullying belum optimal, sehingga diperlukan pendekatan edukatif yang lebih interaktif. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui efektivitas media “PENTING” Puzzle Anti-Bullying dalam meningkatkan pemahaman dan kesadaran siswa terhadap jenis, dampak, serta pencegahan bullying. Kegiatan dilakukan melalui tiga tahap, yaitu sosialisasi dan edukasi kepada guru dan siswa, pelatihan penggunaan media puzzle kepada guru dan perwakilan siswa, serta penerapan media di kelas dengan pendampingan tim pelaksana. Evaluasi dilakukan menggunakan observasi, dokumentasi, serta pre-test dan post-test untuk mengukur perubahan tingkat pengetahuan siswa. Hasil kegiatan menunjukkan adanya peningkatan pemahaman siswa mengenai pengertian bullying, bentuk-bentuk bullying (verbal, fisik, sosial, dan daring), serta cara pencegahannya. Guru mampu menerapkan media pembelajaran secara mandiri setelah pelatihan, dan siswa menunjukkan antusiasme tinggi serta kemampuan yang lebih baik dalam mengidentifikasi perilaku bullying. Dengan demikian, media “PENTING” Puzzle Anti-Bullying efektif sebagai alat edukasi interaktif yang dapat digunakan secara berkelanjutan dalam pembelajaran karakter dan upaya perlindungan anak di sekolah dasar. Kata Kunci: Bullying, Edukasi Anti-Bullying, Puzzle Edukatif, Sekolah Dasar, Pembelajaran Karakter.  ABSTRACT Bullying in elementary schools remains a serious issue that affects students’ psychological well-being, social development, and academic achievement. The lack of interactive learning media has contributed to students’ limited understanding of anti-bullying concepts, highlighting the need for more engaging educational approaches. This study aimed to determine the effectiveness of the “PENTING” Anti-Bullying Puzzle as an educational tool to improve students’ understanding and awareness of the types, impacts, and prevention of bullying. The program was implemented in three stages: (1) anti-bullying socialization and education for teachers and students, (2) training on the use of the educational puzzle for teachers and selected students, and (3) classroom implementation under the supervision of the implementation team. Evaluation was conducted through observation, documentation, and pre-test and post-test to assess changes in students’ knowledge levels. The results showed an improvement in students’ understanding of bullying definitions, forms of bullying (verbal, physical, social, and cyber), and preventive measures. Teachers were able to apply the learning media independently after training, and students demonstrated high enthusiasm and an increased ability to identify bullying behaviors. Therefore, the “PENTING” Anti-Bullying Puzzle is effective as an interactive educational medium that can be used sustainably in character education and child protection efforts in elementary schools. Keywords: Bullying, Anti-Bullying Education, Educational Puzzle, Elementary School, Character Education.
