Abstract

Faktor tenaga kerja, waktu kerja dan beban kerja berpengaruh terhadap produktivitas suatu perusahaan industri. Berdasarkan isu tersebut maka penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menetapkan waktu standar, beban kerja pekerja dan jumlah pekerja optimal pada bagian produksi Udang PCDTO-IQF di PT. Indo American Seafoods dengan menggunakan metode Stopwatch Time Study. Data penelitian diperoleh secara langsung dengan cara mengukur waktu kerja pada bagian produksi menggunakan instrumen stopwatch. Hasil penelitian mendapatkan total waktu standar yang dibutuhkan untuk produksi Udang PCDTO-IQF sebesar 17.089,83 detik atau 4,75 jam. Beban kerja untuk proses produksi memiliki 29 proses, terdapat 11 proses memiliki beban kerja lebih dari 100% atau beban kerja normal, selebihnya memiliki beban kerja normal. Berdasarkan temuan tersebut maka direkomendasikan agar perusahaan melakukan penambahan jumlah pekerja untuk beban kerja berlebih serta melakukan pengurangan ataupun pemindahan tenaga kerja pada bagian dengan beban kerja rendah ke bagian lainnya yang membutuhkan lebih banyak tenaga kerja.

Abstract

Evaluasi perencanaan tata letak fasilitas produksi berperan penting dalam keberlangsungan strategi perusahaan industri manufaktur. Proses produksi tanpa perencanaan tata letak fasilitas bisa menimbulkan pemborosan (waste) melalui aktivitas material handling pada proses produksi. Divisi produksi Agriculture Equipment (AE) di PT. Lambang Jaya merupakan divisi produksi yang bergerak dibidang industri alat-alat pertanian. Keberagaman jenis produk serta jumlah fasilitas yang cukup banyak pada divisi ini membutuhkan evaluasi perencanaan tata letak fasilitas untuk meminimasi material handling dari proses produksi. Berdasarkan isu diatas, maka penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengevaluasi dan merancang ulang tata letak fasilitas di divisi produksi Agriculture Equipment (AE) untuk meminimasi jarak, waktu dan ongkos material handling dari proses produksi produk dengan metode Systematic Layout Planning (SLP). Dari hasil penelitian dan alternatif layout yang ada, didapatkan layout usulan terbaik berdasarkan optimalisasi jarak, waktu dan ongkos material handling dari layout awal. Berdasarkan hasil analisis, layout usulan ini dapat meminimasi jarak, waktu dan ongkos material handling berturut-turut sebesar 20%, 19% dan 15% dari layout awal.

Abstract

The manufacturing industry has developed a lot both in the manufacturing and service industries. A very rapid and very dynamic development especially in the type of industry of irritating equipment and armoury. The development of tools began in 1775 by John Wilkinso who made the horizontal drill for the inner cylinder surface work. Nowadays a lot of new model tools are emerging that are required by distractions and disruptions. Examples are hammer and socket keys that are growing so rapidly and the industry is starting to keep competing to give innovation and advantages to its products so that it produces comfortable products and competitive prices. The aim of this study is to design a multifunctional hammer using the Design for Manufacturing and Assembly (DFMA) approach by looking at the conformity of product quality criteria based on the House of Quality (HoQ) as well as evaluating the prototype according to consumer criteria. Keywords: Tool design, hammer, socket wrenche, DFMA, and HOQ ABSTRAK Sektor industri manufaktur pada saat ini sudah mengalami kemajuan yang sangat signifikan baik di sektor industri manufaktur maupun jasa. Kemajuan yang sangat cepat dan sangat dinamis terutama pada jenis industri berupa peralatan perbengkelan dan pertukangan. Mulainya perkembangan perkakas diawali tahun 1775 oleh John Wilkinso yang membuat bor horizontal untuk pengerjaan permukaan silinder dalam. Saat ini banyak bermunculan perkakas model baru yang dibutuhkan oleh perbengkelan dan pertukangan. Sebagai contoh adalah palu dan kunci sok yang berkembang begitu pesatnya dan industri mulai terus bersaing memberikan inovasi dan keunggulan produknya sehingga menghasilkan produk yang nyaman dan harga yang bersaing. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk merancang palu multifungsi dengan menggunakan pendekatan Design for Manufacturing and Assembly (DFMA) dengan melihat kesesuaian kriteria kualitas produk berdasarkan House of Quality (HoQ) serta mengevaluasi prototype sesuai dengan kriteria konsumen. Kata kunci: Perancangan alat, Palu, Kunci sok, DFMA, dan HoQ

Abstract

PT XYZ, a company in the agribusiness sector, operates a chick hatching production line that yields hatching eggs as its final product. Currently, the company's production process lacks standardized working hours across various crucial stations – namely, terminal, pullchick, vaccine, and packing stations. This absence of standardized hours poses a significant challenge, impacting labor productivity. Additionally, the work pace remains inconsistent among employees at these stations, resulting in unpredictable monthly fluctuations in hatching egg production, rendering it unstable. To address these challenges, the implementation of the stopwatch time study method becomes imperative. This research aims to ascertain cycle time, normal time, and establish standard working hours across the terminal, vaccine, pullchick, and packing stations. Furthermore, the goal is to standardize the work time specifically at pullchick and packing stations. The objective is to compare these standard times against the current practices to enhance worker productivity effectively. Following the research, notable improvements have been observed. The terminal station has experienced a 1-train increase in output, rising from the prior 18 trains to 19 trains. Similarly, the vaccine station has shown remarkable progress, with an output surge of 6 boxes per hour, escalating from a previous rate of 25 boxes/hour to 31 boxes/hour. These findings underline the positive impact of implementing standardized work times, indicating enhanced productivity and efficiency across these stations within PT XYZ's production process.

Abstract

Ports as key of transportation network, the gate of economy activities, transportational mode transition center, site of distribution, production, and consolidation of goods and services, and a place that highly related with routine industrial, agricultural, tourism, and commercial activities. Its important roles in commercial field are as chain of transportation (transportation system) which is a series of goods movement from sender to the receiver or customer that involves various of transportational mode transitions. Are the activities conducted related with supply and chain in ports are already in harmony from the perspective of regulations? Should these ports be re-serviced to improve its performance as a part of supply and chain management? The utilized method in this research is a normative method, with a descriptive analysis by utilizing secondary and primary data. The result of this research reveals that the implemented policy is not in harmony with the available resource in the field, and caused unoptimum output. Because of that, a cooperation between the available human resources in the policy implementation is vital to improve the sector’s contribution towards the national economy, where ports are placed as an accelerator of physical and economical development. Port reservice is a requirement to improve the inconducive and unprofessional Indonesian ports that contribute on ineffective and inefficient service performance. Indonesian ports should organize its performance by improving their tools as supporting facilities and infrastructures. If the available funding is insufficient, port management is recommended to invite both domestic or foreign investors to provide capital investments.

Abstract

This article aims to fill the research gap related to marketplaces digital marketing mix by using elements of gamification to consumers. The problem is focused on identifying the effect of gamification on brand experience without and with moderation of the 4R Concept as well as the effect of brand experience on consumer repurchase intention in the Shopee marketplace. Data collection was carried out by purposive sampling through online questionnaires with a Likert scale of 5. Data processing was carried out on 85 respondent data using SmartPLS software with the PLS-SEM approach. The results of this research data processing are first, the application of gamification elements into the marketplace can improve consumer brand experiences. Second, the effect of gamification on consumer brand experiences can be enhanced by the 4R Concept. Finally, brand experience influences consumer purchase intentions towards the marketplace. The conclusion obtained is that the brand experience of marketplace consumers can be improved either by simply incorporating elements of gamification or with the help of the 4R Concept. Then, brand experience can increase consumer interest in making repeat digital transactions on the marketplace

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of Job Rotation, Training and Development, Career Planning, and Performance Appraisal toward the Employee Performance of PT PLN (Persero) UPK Tarahan either partially or simultaneously through the T-test and F-test. This type of research is a quantitative research. The data used in this study is primary data obtained using a data collection instrument in the form of a questionnaire that has been tested for validity and reliability using SPSS 16 software. The population in this study were all employees of PT PLN (Persero) UPK Tarahan, namely 68 employees. The sampling technique used the Slovin formula so that a sample of 59 employees was obtained. The data analysis method used Structural Equation Modeling (SEM). SmartPLS 3.2.9 is a tool used to perform analysis. The partial hypothesis testing resulted that job rotation is a variable that has no significant effect on employee performance while other variables have a positive significant effect on employee performance. Simultaneous testing shows that the independent variables together have no significant effect on the performance of PT PLN (Persero) UPK Tarahan employees because the job rotation variable has an F-square value 0.05, which is 0.00, which means the null hypothesis is rejected. The program recommendations given are job instruction exercises and coaching.

Abstract

PT PLN Persero UPK Tarahan merupakan salah satu Badan Usaha Milik Negara yang telah mendapat gelar Zero Accident. Dalam memperoleh penghargaan tersebut, tentunya banyak hal dan upaya yang telah dilakukan oleh PT PLN (Persero) UPK Tarahan, salah satunya yaitu dalam upaya membangun Safety Climate. Tujuan dilakukannya penelitian ini untuk mengetahui ketercapaian antara standar K3 PT PLN (Persero) UPK Tarahan dengan peraturan K3 oleh Undang-Undang di Indonesia, tepatnya Undang-Undang No. 1 Tahun 1970 tentang Keselamatan Kerja dan mengetahui keterkaitan hubungan antara variabel bebas yaitu Safety Leadership, Safety Management Safety Culture, dan Safety Knowledge dengan variabel terikat yaitu kondisi Zero Accident pada PT. PLN (Persero) UPK Tarahan. Jenis penelitian ini adalah mixed method dengan metode analisis yang digunakan yaitu analisis deskriptif. Pengumpulan data menggunakan studi literature dan dua macam kuesioner dengan sampel 81 responden dari seluruh populasi pekerja yang kemudian akan diuji validitas dan reliabilitasnya. Hasil dari penelitian ini yaitu tercapainya standar antara K3 PT PLN (Persero) UPK Tarahan dengan peraturan K3 oleh Undang-Undang di Indonesia sudah sesuai dan variabel Safety Leadership, Safety Management Safety Culture, dan Safety Knowledge secara parsial maupun simultan memiliki hubungan signifikan dengan kondisi Zero Accident pada PT PLN (Persero) UPK Tarahan.

Abstract

PT Bukit Asam Tarahan Port Unit has machines and tools that are used to assist its activities and of course indirectly support its productivity, one of these machines is the Rotary Car Dumper (RCD) 3. The Overall Equipment Effectiveness (OEE) method can identify bottlenecks in a tool or machines used in the company. Using the Six Big Losses method in this research can determine what factors make the biggest contribution resulting in the low effectiveness of using the RCD 3 machine at PT Bukit Asam Tbk Tarahan Port unit. After the losses value is obtained, the maintenance, repair and overhaul (MRO) implemented will then be analyzed and whether MRO has an effect on these losses. Based on research that has been conducted, the OEE value of the RCD 3 machine is 6%, with an average value of availability of 52%, performance of 12% and quality of 100%. The highest six big losses values were obtained from set up and adjustment losses and reduced speed losses, where the two losses obtained an average value of 46%. PT Bukit Asam Tarahan Harbor Unit has implemented planned maintenance such as preventive maintenance and corrective maintenance during the observation period from January 2021 to December 2021.

Abstract

Our study investigates the role of Green human resource management (GHRM) practices on the individual environmental performance of employees (IEP) as well as the mediating role of perceived organizational support (POS) in the health sector in Indonesia. Data was collected using a questionnaire that was shared with 310 nurses working in Indonesian as respondents. SmartPLS 3 software is used to analyze data by adopting the PLS-SEM approach. The research findings reveal a strong and positive relationship between the dimensions of GHRM practices such as Green Employee Involvement (GEI),  Green Management Performance (GMP), and Green Training (GT) on the individual environmental performance of employees in Indonesia's health sector. Furthermore, we also found an indirect effect of GHRM practices on employees' environmental performance through perceived environmental support from the organization company. Based on our study, we suggest Institutions and organizations in Indonesia's health sector concern implement GHRM practices to improve their employees' individual environmental performance. Specifically, our study extends the previous literature by exploring the relationship of GHRM practices with individual environmental performance using perceived organizational support (POS) as a mediating variable.
