Abstract

This study aims to examine the effect of Intellectual Capital (IC) on the financial performance of Return On Equity (ROE) of companies in the pharmaceutical sub sector. The population in this study is the financial statements of companies in the pharmaceutical sub sector listed on the Indonesian Stock Exchange during the 2017-2021 period. This study used purposive sampling with 8 companies and 40 observations. This study used quantitative data. Data collection techniques using documentation techniques. Data analysis techniques used in this research are classic assumption test, simple linear regression, F test and t test using the SPSS 21 version as a data processing program. The results showed that the intellectual capital had a positive and significant effect on financial performance. This finding indicates that the more efficient and effective a company is in managing its IC, the more it will improve the company's financial performance. The company's ability to generate profit with the total equity owned by the company is increasing with the company using and making the most of its IC. So this research proves that IC plays an important role in the formation of added value and contributes to improving the company's financial performance. This finding also confirms the resource based theory, that intellectual capital owned by companies is able to create competitive advantages for companies so that they can improve company performance for the better, one of which is increasing company profits.

Abstract

Consumer satisfaction is the most dominant factor in meeting one of the needs of consumers and factors that can meet consumer satisfaction include service quality and price. Research conducted at Ayam Geprek Idola Pematang Siantar City, the results of the study with the help of SPSS found that the intrument of research variables had valid and reliable criteria. For the coefficient of determination, strong correlation results from service quality and price to consumer satisfaction and have a positive direction coefficient of service quality and price to consumer satisfaction. The results of the hypothesis found that service quality has a positive and significant effect on customer satisfaction, price also has a positive and significant effect on customer satisfaction. With good service quality and good and affordable prices, it will be able to generate customer satisfaction.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of GIC and GI on CES. The research focused on consumer goods sector listed on the IDX for 2018-2022 period with a sample of 42 companies. The research method uses quantitative data analysis with a panel data regression analysis approach. Findings reveal a significant and positive relationship between GIC and CES. GIC enables companies to adopt sustainable business practices, which increases company profitability. GIC provides a competitive advantage in managing environmental risks, meeting customer demands regarding environmental issues, and adapting to changes in regulations related to sustainability. However, the results also show a significant negative impact of GI on CES. GI may lead to a decline in CES in the short term because significant financial resources are required to implement green innovations, which can reduce a company's financial elasticity. This can force companies to abandon profitable production and investment activities.

Abstract

Usaha Mikro, Kecil, dan Menengah (UMKM) memiliki peranan sangat penting dalam perekonomian lokal. Pengelolaan keuangan yang efektif dan pemasaran digital yang tepat dapat menjadi faktor kunci dalam meningkatkan kinerja dan daya saing UMKM. Metode pengabdian ini melibatkan pelatihan intensif dan bimbingan praktis kepada UMKM di Cafe Pelangi Pematang Siantar. Pelatihan difokuskan pada pengelolaan keuangan dasar, termasuk pencatatan pendapatan dan pengeluaran, perencanaan anggaran, dan penggunaan alat bantu keuangan. Selain itu, pelatihan juga mencakup pengenalan tentang pemasaran digital, seperti penggunaan media sosial, pembuatan situs web, iklan digital, dan strategi pemasaran online lainnya. Hasil yang diharapkan dari pengabdian masyarakat ini adalah peningkatan kemampuan pengelolaan keuangan dan pemasaran digital UMKM di Cafe Pelangi. Dengan peningkatan ini, diharapkan UMKM dapat mengoptimalkan penggunaan sumber daya keuangan mereka, meningkatkan visibilitas produk atau layanan melalui pemasaran digital, dan mencapai pertumbuhan bisnis yang berkelanjutan.

Abstract

This research aims to examine and analyze the influence of inflation, Capital Adequacy Ratio, Loan to Deposit Ratio, and mobile banking on the profitability of conventional commercial banks (an empirical study of conventional commercial banks listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange from 2018 to 2022). The research design has a causal associative nature with a quantitative approach. The population in this study consist of conventional commercial banks listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange that implemented mobile banking technology for five consecutive years during the period 2018-2022. The sampling technique used is purposive sampling, resulting in 6 samples out of 30 conventional commercial banks. Data analysis is conducted through descriptive analysis, inner model analysis, outer model analysis, and hypothesis testing using the SmartPLS v.3.2.9 software. The research findings indicate that the variables of inflation, Capital Adequacy Ratio, and Loan to Deposit Ratio have a positive and significant impact on the profitability on conventional commercial banks. However, the mobile banking variable does not have a significant impact on the profitability of conventional commercial banks

Abstract

Sudah menjadi kearifan lokal bahwa pekerja gig (pekerja informal) sering membentuk komunitas-komunitas praktisi untuk mendukung keberadaan mereka dalam ekonomi gig. Dibangun diatas teori dukungan social, penelitian ini mengkaji karakteristik ekonomi gig, yakni peran facilitating collectivity dalam bentuk komunitas praktisi (community of practice) pekerja gig. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menguji peran moderasi komunitas praktisi pekerja gig dalam memperkuat pengaruh keterikatan kerja terhadap resiliensi pekerja gig. Hubungan ini dijelaskan oleh peran mediasi kepuasan kerja. Selain itu, penelitian ini memberikan bukti bahwa hubungan tidak langsung melemah ketika pekerja gig tersebut teridentifikasi bukan anggota komunitas praktisi. Temuan penelitian ini memperkuat kontribusi teori dukungan social bagi pekerja gig dan implikasi praktis bagi pekerja gig untuk meningkatkan resiliensi melalui keanggotaan komunitas praktisi.

Abstract

The rapid development of information technology corresponds to the development of humans who increasingly need technology to facilitate their business. Currently, in addition to business development, the development of mobile games has also experienced a significant increase in terms of the number of users. The increasingly rapid development of game enthusiasts has an impact on the behavior of generation Z and the millennial generation in choosing the quality of the games they want. The main objective of this research is to analyze the determinants of mobile game adoption among Generation Z and Millennials. The study tool was an online survey that was given to 210 participants, all of whom were Millennial and Generation Z players of mobile game services. The researchers then put the theory to the test by utilizing the Partial Least Square (PLS) type of structural equation modeling (SEM) and the SmartPLS version 3.0 program to examine it. The study's findings demonstrate that perceived enjoyment, perceived ease of use, and habit have a significant and positive impact on usage intention. The managerial implications of this research conclude that one of the biggest effects of playing games service is to make people happy. Of course they feel happy because when they play games, they don't feel the pressures of life. As if they are in another world that makes them the main character.

Abstract

The challenge for MSMEs in the digital era is the emergence of Volatility, Uncertainty, Complexity, and Ambiguity or VUCA, so that the role of socio-cultural support systems and relevant financing is needed for MSMEs, especially those based on women's entrepreneurship. This study aims to analyze how the role of the socio-cultural support system and financing in the development of women entrepreneurship-based MSMEs. This research is quantitative with survey method. Research data were collected through interviews; focus group discussions (FGDs); and surveys of respondents of women entrepreneurship-based MSMEs. Based on the research results, it is known that women entrepreneurship MSMEs can face the VUCA era through the role of the socio-cultural support system, especially dimension_a and dimension_b in developing their business. Then, there is also the role of the financing support system, namely dimension_a and dimension_b. The existence of MSME development supported by the role of the socio-cultural support system and financing will improve the economic conditions of MSME actors in a sustainable manner, even in the VUCA era.

Abstract

Pengembangan karakter di era digital menjadi tantangan penting, terutama pada generasi muda. Pengabdian Masyarakat ini menggarisbawahi perlunya adaptasi karakter terhadap perubahan lingkungan dan teknologi. Merdeka finansial di era digital dijelaskan sebagai kemampuan mengatur keuangan tanpa ketergantungan pada pihak lain. Generasi muda dihadapkan pada berbagai produk keuangan baru, memerlukan literasi keuangan yang kuat agar tidak terjebak dalam hutang. Analisis situasi merdeka finansial di era digital mengidentifikasi tantangan dan peluang, termasuk literasi keuangan yang rendah dan potensi penggantian pekerjaan tradisional oleh teknologi. Meskipun teknologi menyediakan alat perangkat lunak dan aplikasi untuk memudahkan pengelolaan keuangan, mencapai merdeka finansial tetap memerlukan komitmen dan disiplin. Kedua aspek penting, yakni pengembangan karakter dan penguatan pengelolaan keuangan, saling terkait dan diperlukan untuk mencapai merdeka finansial, terutama bagi generasi muda. Oleh karena itu, pengembangan karakter dan penguatan pengelolaan keuangan menjadi urgensi untuk memacu generasi muda mengelola karakter dan keuangan mereka secara optimal dalam era digital yang terus berkembang.

Abstract

The results of this study can be summarized as follows: 1. The price, product quality, and brand loyalty Polygon Strattos on PT Insera Sena quite well and consumers are still quite satisfied. 2. Results of regression analysis is Ŷ(Z) = 17,394 + 0,292X1 + 0,212X2, meaning the price and product quality positively affects consumer satisfaction and simple linear regression result Ŷ = 16,474 + 0,797X(Z). 3. The results of the analysis obtained first correlation r = 0,584 means that there is a moderately correlation between price and product quality with consumer satisfaction and the results of the analysis obtained second correlation r = 0,570 means that there is a moderately correlation between consumer satisfaction with brand loyalty. The hypothesis H0 is rejected, meaning the price and product quality significant positive effect on brand loyalty of Polygon Strattos Bicycle through consumer satisfaction as intervening variable, either simultaneously or partially.The suggestions from this study are 1. that if viewed from the price, the company should give discount to ritel consumer who buy more one unit, 2. concerning product quality, company should pay attention to the color choice bike, 3. consumer satisfaction should improve consumer support especially related to bike information on the website, and 4. at brand loyalty should care about product quality. Keywords: Price, Product Quality, Brand Loyalty, and Consumer Satisfaction
