Abstract

This research aims to determine job satisfaction and motivation as mediating the relationship between teacher certification and principal supervision of teacher performance. The research design used a quantitative approach to causality. To obtain research data using documentation instruments and distributing questionnaires online. The sample used in the study was 215 respondents. The basis for determining the sample is oriented towards a non-probability sampling approach using a purposive sampling formula. To test the mediating effect of satisfaction and the relationship between principal supervision and compensation on teacher performance, the structural equation modeling (SEM) approach with partial least squares analysis is used. Following the research results, Teacher certification has a significant effect on satisfaction and motivation, and teacher certification has no significant effect on teacher performance. The results of subsequent research and the principal's supervision have a significant effect on job satisfaction, motivation, and teacher performance. Furthermore, the results showed that job satisfaction could not mediate the relationship between teacher certification and principal school supervision of teacher performance for the first and second mediation tests. Then, for the third and fourth mediation tests, results were obtained, which stated that motivation could not mediate the relationship between teacher certification and supervision of school principals on teacher performance. Therefore, principal supervision has a significant effect on job satisfaction, motivation, and teacher performance.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the role of job satisfaction in mediating the relationship between emotional intelligence and intellectual intelligence on the performance of the high school teachers. This study uses a research design with an associative quantitative approach. Data was collected through documentation and online questionnaires. This study used a sample of 39 respondents with the determination of the sample size using the saturated sample formula. Partial least square is applied to examine the relationship between teacher performance, job satisfaction, emotional intelligence and intellectual intelligence. The results of this study indicate that of the seven hypotheses developed there are two accepted hypotheses, that is, for the effect of emotional intelligence on job satisfaction, it is obtained that the results of a significant effect and the influence of spiritual intelligence on teacher performance are also obtained significant results. Meanwhile, the other 5 hypotheses developed were not significant. Through the findings of this study, it is hoped that it can provide additional information for various parties, especially the school, to pay attention to the factors that affect teacher performance and job satisfaction, so that teachers gain comfort and confidence to continue to improve their performance in implementing learning in schools.

The results of this study showed that of the three hypotheses formulated, there were two hypotheses that were rejected. For the effect of the intellectual intelligence variable on the teacher performance variable, the results did not have a significant effect, and then, the effect of the emotional intelligence variable on the teacher performance variable was the same, which was not affected significantly. Abstract

The purpose of this research was to find out the effect of the percentage in development of Pematangsiantar city’s regional minimum wages, and the problem in this study how GRDP and RWP affect on the percentage of development of Regionl Minimum Wage at Pematangsiantar City. The method used was quantitative descriptive analysis. Data analysis used were Classic Assumption Test, Multiple Linear Regression, Correlation Coefficient, Determination, F-test and t-test object on RMW at Pematangsiantar city. Finding of research and results of the study can be summarized as follows: 1). The results of the multiple linear regression analysis test are  that the GRDP and RWP had a positive effect on the RMW of Pematangsiantar City, 2). The results of the correlation coefficient indicate that the GRDP and RWP of Pematangsiantar City on its RMW were at a very strong level, while the coefficient of determination of 67.5%  at high or low of the minimum wages can be explained by the GRDP and RWP, while the remaining  of 32.5% was influenced by other factors which were not included in this study, 3). Hypothesis Test for  F-test indicates that the GRDP and RWP influences significantly on Pematang city’s RMW, and for the t- test indicates that the GRDP and RWP had a positive and significant effect on the RMW in Pematangsiantar City from 2005 to 2018. This means that as the GRDP increases, the value of setting Pematangsiantar City's minimum wage in the following year will also increase, and vice versa. The increase of  laborers/workers demands will affect the standard of regioanalwages that will be determined, this happens  because wages will always adjust to the labor market demand. The stipulation of the minimum wage, it has an impact on GRDP in Pematangsiantar City, because the consumptive rate will be carried out in the place where it gets paid.

In this study the level of student consumption as the dependent variable and the factors of using non-cash payments are perceived usefulness, perceivedease of use and perceived trust as independent variables. The population in this study were students of Accounting Department in the seventh semester at STIE Sultan Agung Pematangsiantaras many 167 people. This study used quantitative data in the form of a questionnaire. Data analysis techniques used in this research are classic assumption test, multiple linear regression, determination test, F test and t test. The results showed that the perceived usefulness, perceived ease of use and perceived trust had a positive and significant effect on student consumption levels. This is because students prefer to make any purchases (consumption) using non-cash payments. The benefits of non-cash payments can be used anywhere, easy to carry, more secure and has trust in the accuracy of the transactions made
