Abstract

This research is classroom action research which aims to determine descriptions of teacher activities, student activities, and learning outcomes in implementing the PBL learning model assisted by the Canva application to improve mathematics learning outcomes for class IV students at SD Inpres 6/75 Manurunge. Data collection techniques use observation and tests. The data analysis techniques in this research are data reduction, data presentation, and drawing conclusions. The research results showed that teacher activities in managing learning experienced an increase in the optimal learning process from cycle I to cycle II seen from teacher activities in implementing good learning designs in accordance with the steps of the PBL learning model assisted by the Canva application. Student activity in participating in the learning process has increased from cycle I to cycle II as seen from the results of observations during the learning process using observation sheets. As for student learning outcomes in cycle I, there were 14 out of 20 students who were complete with an average score of 76.25 with a percentage of student learning completeness reaching 70% (fair), while student learning outcomes in cycle II were 17 out of 20 students achieving a complete score with an average score of 87.25 with a percentage of student learning completeness reaching 85% (good). It can be concluded that the PBL learning model assisted by the Canva application can improve student Mathematics learning outcomes.

Abstract

Banggai Banggai Yam which has a fairly high carbohydrate content can be used as an alternative food source. Therefore, this plant can be developed as one of the superior commodities for additional food besides rice. The most fundamental problem with Banggai Yam t this time is that Banggai Yam an only be cultivated once a year. so researchers tried to conduct research using hormones or plant growth regulators (PGRs) in plants to support the process of accelerating the growth of Banggai Yam  lants. The level of PGR absorption by plants is also determined by the duration of soaking the cuttings. For this reason, this study aims to determine the effect of the duration of tuber soaking on the growth of Banggai Yam. This study used a Randomized Block Design (RAK) with 4 treatments of PGR Hormax (W) soaking time with a concentration of 6 mL/L of water consisting of W0 (control), W1 (20 minutes/6mL/L of water), W2 (40 minutes/6mL/L of water), W3 (60 minutes/6mL/L of water). Each treatment was repeated 6 times. The results were analysed using ANOVA using package ‘stats’ and displayed in diagram form using package ‘ggplot2’. Data were analysed using RStudio 2023.12.0 software. The results showed that the W2 treatment (40 minutes/6mL/L water) gave a real effect on the sprouting speed of Banggai yam plants. The results of this study, can be used for cultivators of Banggai Yam, because with these results it will be able to help them to increase the speed of sprouting of Banggai Yam plants.

Abstract

This article discusses the history of Islamic civilization in Europe or Andalusia during the period from 711 CE to 1492 CE. The type of research employed in this study is library research, which focuses on examining literature as the object of study, using books as its data source. The data for this research is obtained from secondary sources, derived from previous studies, involving reading, reviewing, and analyzing various literature relevant to the research. The research findings indicate that the arrival of Islam had a positive impact, enriching life in Andalusia and transforming the region into one of the world's centers of civilization, comparable to the glory of the Umayyad Dynasty in Damascus and the Abbasid Dynasty in Baghdad. Islamic contributions played a crucial role in the development of Western civilization, particularly in the fields of politics, economy, science and technology, astronomy, philosophy, medicine, literature, history, and geography. However, despite the efforts of the Islamic community to maintain its dominance over the centuries, it faced severe challenges such as intra-Muslim conflicts, conflicts with Christians, the absence of a unifying ideology, economic difficulties, and unclear power transition systems. Consequently, Islam eventually relinquished its authority, marking the end of Islamic rule in Spain. Thus, the history of Islam in Andalusia, despite its eventual defeat, reveals Islam as a cultural force that gave rise to various branches of culture in all its diversity and forms.
