Abstract

This study aims to analyze the impact of service quality on patient satisfaction in private hospitals in Malang City. The concept of service quality is evaluated through five variables: physical evidence, reliability, responsiveness, assurance, and empathy. This study used quantitative methods through surveys to collect data from 150 inpatients. The results of the simultaneous analysis show that the dimensions of physical evidence, reliability, responsiveness, assurance and empathy have an influence on patient satisfaction. Meanwhile, partially the empathy dimension has no effect on patient satisfaction, while the dimensions of physical evidence, reliability, responsiveness, and guarantee each have an influence on patient satisfaction. These findings highlight the importance of improving service quality in an effort to increase patient satisfaction. Thus, research is expected to make a positive contribution to the development of hospital management strategies that are more effective and adaptive to patient needs.

Abstract

The global challenges in the economic sector has become more complex and turbulence. Many companies have executed management changes in order to survive and create strategies to compete with their competitors. More than two decades, human resource management has been developed into strategic to face the global challenges, and the roles concept of human resource professional created by Ulrich et. al. has been executed by many companies around the world. Many researchers have stated that a key to achieving competitive advantage is that of the strategic roles of human resource management. In the service industry, specifically in hospitality, in which human resource as the main resource to run the business, the strategic roles of the human resource manager is very important in creating competitive advantage. This research aims to identify and describe the strategic roles of human resource managers in a hospitality industry. This study conducted in three-star hotels in Malang and interviewed six human resource managers as participants. Qualitative method used in this research and positivist underlying philosophical assumption. Using semi-structured interview in data collection, this paper identifies three themes to be analyzed by coding using software NVivo International 10. The first is the strategic roles of human resource managers contribute to anticipating the competitive business challenges; the second, their strategic roles in creating competitive advantage; and lastly, a human resource as a key in creating the competitive advantage for the company. The first two themes are analyzed by a number of coding references, the finding mentioned that there are two human resource managers who conduct strategic roles as the strategic partner and change agent. While the third theme is analyzed by word tree and giving the result that the factor of achieving competitive advantage is that of human resource.

Abstract

Penelitian ini dimaksud untuk menelaah sejauh mana diskon, kualitias produk, dan trust berpengaruh terhadap keputusan pembelian produk fashion di live streaming TikTok Shop pada Universitas PGRI Kanjuruhan Malang. Penelitian ini difokuskan pada mahasiswa Universitas PGRI Kanjuruhan Malang yang aktif berbelanja platform TikTok Shop. Teknik sampling yang digunakan mengacu pada metode purposive sampling dengan total responden sebanyak 150 mahasiswa. Pendekatan penelitian ini bersifat kuantitatif dan proses analisis data dilakukan menggunakan perangkat lunak SPSS versi 22. Data primer diperoleh distribusi kuesioner kepada responden. Hasil analisis memperlihatkan bahwasanya diskon, kualitas produk, dan trust berpengaruh positif secara simultan terhadap keputusan pembelian, tetapi hasil analisis secara parsial divariabel trust tidak berpengaruh dan signifikan terhadap keputusan pembelian. Temuan penelitian ini mengindikasikan bahwa pelaku usaha dengan tingkat strategi pemasaran diskon dan kualitas produk yang tinggi cenderung memiliki kompetensi yang lebih kuat untuk mempengaruhi keputusan pembelian terhadap konsumen yang secara optimal. Memperlihatkan kemampuan yang lebih handal dalam meningkatkan keputusan pembelian.

Abstract

Usaha Mikro, Kecil, dan Menengah (UMKM) memainkan peran penting dalam perekonomian nasional. Namun, UMKM masih menghadapi berbagai hambatan seperti rendahnya literasi keuangan, keterbatasan akses terhadap layanan keuangan (inklusi keuangan), dan minimnya pemanfaatan sistem pembayaran digital. Studi ini dilakukan untuk menganalisis pengaruh literasi keuangan, inklusi keuangan, dan digital payment terhadap kinerja keuangan UMKM kuliner di Kabupaten Malang. Studi ini menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif dengan data primer yang diperoleh melalui penyebaran kuesioner kepada 156 UMKM kuliner di Kabupaten Malang bagian Selatan, yang ditentukan menggunakan metode propotional random sampling. Berdasarkan hasil analisis data, literasi keuangan, inklusi keuangan, dan digital payment memiliki pengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap kinerja keuangan UMKM Kuliner Kabupaten Malang. Penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa kemampuan yang baik dalam literasi keuangan, mudahnya akses ke layanan inklusi keuangan, dan beradaptasi dengan system pembayaran digital adalah faktor penting yang mendorong peningkatan kinerja keuangan UMKM.

Abstract

The current study investigates how female director moderates the relationship between CSR and company performance of transportation firms in Indonesia. Drawing on stakeholder theory and using data of Indonesian’s Transportation listed companies over the period 2019–2022, we examine the association between CSR, female director, and company performance. Particularly, we investigate whether CSR and female director contributes to improving company performance, and whether the relationship between CSR and company performance is moderated by female director. Our empirical findings suggest that firms with effective CSR exhibit company performance. The results also indicate that female director is positively associated with company performance. furthermore, the findings reveal that the positive relationship between CSR and company performance is negatively moderated by female director. Consequently, the study sheds light on female director, corporate social responsibility, and company performance from both a theoretical and empirical standpoint. The advantages of having female director and the possible impact of participating in CSR reporting should be known to regulators and stakeholders.

Abstract

Abstract The purpose of this study is to determine the effect of dividend policy, liquidity, leverage and profitability on company value in food and beverage companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange simultaneously and partially. Research conducted based on quantitative methods. The determination of this research sample used the purposive sampling method so that research samples were obtained as many as 17 food and beverage companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange. This research data uses the financial statements of manufacturing companies for the 2020-2022 period. The data analysis method used is multiple linear regression. The results proved that simultaneously dividend policy, liquidity, leverage and profitability had a significant effect on the value of the company. The partial results prove that dividend policy has a significant effect on the value of the company, liquidity has a significant effect on the value of the company, leverage has a significant effect on the value of the company and profitability has a significant effect on the value of the company. This result proves that good company value is supported by an increase in dividend policy value, liquidity, leverage and profitability.
