Abstract

ABSTRACT   In carrying out their duties, employees experience various kinds of challenges. The biggest challenge is work accidents. However, employees remain involved in the company. The purpose of this research is to determine the relationship between Perceived Organizational Support and Employee Engagement among PT Z employees. This research method is quantitative by collecting data using a questionnaire on the Employee Engagement scale with Perceived Organizational Support. The subjects in this research were 161 employees. The sampling technique used in this research is purposive sampling. The data analysis technique used is validity and reliability testing. The data analysis method in this research is two-stage, namely testing assumptions/prerequisites and testing hypotheses. The results of research conducted on PT Z employees using the Perceived Organizational Support variable (independent variable) and the Employee Engagement variable (dependent variable) show that this variable has an effective contribution of 54.8%, which means there is acceptance of the proposed hypothesis and 45.2%. The remaining % is influenced by other factors outside those studied. Based on the results obtained from data analysis and discussion, the researcher concluded that there is a relationship between Perceived Organizational Support and Employee Engagement among PT Z employees.

Abstract

Desa Tanjung Pinang II di Kabupaten Ogan Ilir memiliki berbagai program yang selaras dengan kebijakan pembangunan daerah, terutama dalam bidang kesehatan. Program-program ini terdiri dari beberapa bagian, antara lain posyandu yang menyediakan layanan kesehatan untuk ibu hamil, balita, dan lansia, pemberantasan stunting dengan edukasi gizi serta pemberian makanan tambahan untuk ibu hamil dan balita, serta program sanitasi dan air bersih. Salah satu metode yang digunakan dalam kegiatan sosialisasi adalah Hypnobreastfeeding, yang merupakan proses relaksasi dan pengondisian pikiran untuk membantu ibu menyusui dalam mengelola stres, meningkatkan produksi ASI, dan memperkuat ikatan emosional dengan bayi mereka. Hasil dari kegiatan ini menunjukkan adanya peningkatan pengetahuan dan kesadaran di kalangan ibu-ibu menyusui tentang pentingnya pemberian ASI eksklusif. Sebelumnya, banyak yang kurang menyadari dan memahami pentingnya ASI eksklusif, namun setelah mengikuti kegiatan ini, mereka menjadi lebih paham dan terbuka akan manfaatnya.

Abstract

This community service activity aims to increase employee and community knowledge about the importance of the Employee Assistance Program (EAP) for employees designed by the company to improve employee mental health productivity. This service program is expected to help employees to prevent, identify and resolve employee problems, especially mental health, which impacts employee performance. This service activity is carried out at PT. X Palembang. The method of implementing community service activities is carried out to solve problems that exist among employees of PT. X Palembang related to mental health problems in the form of counseling efforts on the application and use of EAP program services at PT. X Palembang. The results of this community service activity are in the form of companion services for employees of PT. X Palembang to conduct coaching and counseling sessions to help solve employee problems to improve employee mental health.

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to evaluate the effectiveness of static infographics in improving employees' understanding of workload management strategies. The study employed a quantitative approach with a pretest-posttest quasi-experimental design. Fourteen employees participated in the study via census sampling. The intervention involved delivering static infographics containing information about workflows, task division, and workload management strategies. Results from the Paired Samples T-Test analysis showed a significant difference between pre- and posttest scores (p < 0.05), indicating that using static infographics positively impacted employees' understanding of workload management. These results suggest that static infographics are an effective visual communication medium in high-pressure work environments and can contribute to improved organizational efficiency and performance. ABSTRAK Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengevaluasi efektivitas media infografis statis dalam meningkatkan pemahaman karyawan terhadap strategi manajemen beban kerja. Penelitian menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif dengan desain kuasi-eksperimen pretest-posttest. Sebanyak 14 orang karyawan dilibatkan sebagai partisipan melalui teknik pengambilan sampel sensus. Intervensi dilakukan dengan penyampaian infografis statis yang memuat informasi mengenai alur kerja, pembagian tugas, serta strategi pengelolaan beban kerja. Hasil analisis menggunakan uji Paired Sample T-Test menunjukkan adanya perbedaan signifikan antara skor pretest dan posttest (p < 0,05), yang mengindikasikan bahwa penggunaan infografis statis berdampak positif terhadap peningkatan pemahaman karyawan terkait manajemen beban kerja. Temuan ini menunjukkan bahwa infografis statis dapat menjadi media komunikasi visual yang efektif dalam lingkungan kerja yang memiliki tekanan tinggi, serta berkontribusi terhadap peningkatan efisiensi dan kinerja organisasi.

Abstract

This study examines the impact of positive leadership on improving employee psychological well-being, particularly in the mining industry work environment. The study uses positive leadership theory and PERMA-V theory as conceptual frameworks to analyze how leadership styles can create a supportive work environment and enhance employee psychological well-being. The research employs a descriptive qualitative method through participatory observation, informal interviews, and literature review in the workplace of the Assessment Center at PT Bukit Asam. The findings reveal that while financial well-being has been achieved, psychological stress levels due to workloads and deadlines remain high. Therefore, the application of positive leadership has proven effective in creating a more supportive work environment, boosting work morale, and strengthening employees' mental health. This study underscores the importance of integrating positive leadership principles into human resource management strategies to achieve holistic employee well-being.

Abstract

Purpose: To provide material on clean and healthy living to increase the understanding of students at SDN 17 Tanjung Batu about the importance of maintaining cleanliness in everyday life. Method: This community service activity used two methods: the first was education, and the second was demonstration. Practical Application: This activity is useful for providing children with knowledge about maintaining cleanliness through the Hand Washing Movement, helping them avoid disease. Conclusion: The hand washing movement simulation to increase self-efficacy towards a healthy lifestyle in children significantly enhanced their confidence in practicing healthy behaviors. Through an interactive and engaging simulation, the children not only learned about the importance of hand washing in preventing the spread of disease but also felt more confident in making it a daily habit.

Abstract

Waiting time for services is a crucial factor influencing patient satisfaction, especially in primary healthcare facilities such as community health centers. Patients who experience long waiting times tend to feel dissatisfied, both objectively and based on their perception of the service received. This study aims to analyze the relationship between waiting time and patient satisfaction at Tegal Binangun Community Health Center in Palembang and to identify which aspects of waiting time have the most significant impact on patient satisfaction. This research employs a quantitative correlational design, involving patients as respondents selected through purposive sampling. Data were collected using a questionnaire measuring waiting time aspects based on the theory of Herjunianto, Wardhani, and Prihastuty (2014) and patient satisfaction aspects based on the theory of Purwanto (2007). The findings indicate a significant negative correlation between waiting time and patient satisfaction (r = -0.590, p < 0.05), with a contribution of 34.8%. The aspects of Actual Waiting Time and Perceived Waiting Time show a stronger influence on patient satisfaction dimensions such as Reliability, Responsiveness, and Empathy. These results suggest that the longer the waiting time, the lower the level of patient satisfaction, highlighting the need for community health centers to improve service efficiency to reduce waiting times. The implications of this study emphasize the importance of optimizing queue management systems and enhancing communication between healthcare providers and patients to improve the overall healthcare experience in primary care facilities.Waktu tunggu pelayanan menjadi faktor penting yang memengaruhi kepuasan pasien, terutama dalam layanan kesehatan primer seperti puskesmas. Pasien yang mengalami waktu tunggu lama cenderung merasa tidak puas, baik secara objektif maupun berdasarkan persepsi mereka terhadap layanan yang diterima. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis hubungan antara waiting time dengan kepuasan pasien di Puskesmas Tegal Binangun Palembang serta mengidentifikasi aspek waiting time yang paling berpengaruh terhadap kepuasan pasien. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kuantitatif dengan desain korelasional, melibatkan pasien puskesmas sebagai responden yang dipilih menggunakan teknik purposive sampling. Data dikumpulkan melalui kuesioner yang mengukur aspek waiting time berdasarkan teori Herjunianto, Wardhani, dan Prihastuty (2014) serta aspek kepuasan pasien berdasarkan teori Purwanto (2007). Hasil penelitian menunjukkan adanya hubungan negatif yang signifikan antara waiting time dengan kepuasan pasien (r = -0.590, p < 0.05), dengan kontribusi sebesar 34.8%. Aspek Actual Waiting Time dan Perceived Waiting Time memiliki pengaruh yang lebih kuat terhadap dimensi kepuasan pasien seperti Reliability, Responsiveness, dan Empathy. Temuan ini mengindikasikan bahwa semakin lama waktu tunggu, semakin rendah tingkat kepuasan pasien, sehingga penting bagi puskesmas untuk meningkatkan efisiensi pelayanan guna mengurangi waktu tunggu. Implikasi penelitian ini menegaskan perlunya optimalisasi sistem antrean dan peningkatan komunikasi antara tenaga medis dan pasien untuk meningkatkan pengalaman layanan kesehatan di fasilitas primer.

Abstract

Pemadam kebakaran merupakan sumber daya manusia yang dilatih dan bertugas untuk membantu dalam memadamkan kebakaran dan melakukan penyelamatan kebakaran dan non kebakaran. Pemadam kebakaran dituntut untuk siap fisik dan mental dan sangat menantang serta beresiko tinggi. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif korelatif dengan melibatkan 146 pemadam kebakaran Kota Palembang sebagai subjek penelitian dan teknik pengambilan sampel yang digunakan adalah teknik purposive random sampling. Analisis menggunakan uji regresi sederhana menunjukkan diterimanya hipotesis yang diajukan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa perceived organizational support memiliki kontribusi yang besar terhadap kecenderungan perilaku career calling pada pemadam kebakaran Kota Palembang (r= .942, p < .01). Sumbangan praktis career calling terhadap perceived organizational support sebesar 88,7% dan sisanya sebesar 11,3% dipengaruhi oleh faktor lain. Abstract

Perkembangan motorik kasar anak usia prasekolah meliputi kemampuan mengontrol gerakan kasar yang melibatkan anggota tubuh seperti berjalan, berlari, dan melompat dll. Hasil observasi pada hari Rabu tanggal 30 Oktober 2024 di PAUD Pelangi Desa Tanjung Tambak Baru menunjukkan bahwa beberapa anak mengalami kesulitan dalam mengkoordinasikan gerakan tubuh yang sering canggung saat diajak bernyanyi sambil berdiri dan bertepuk tangan serta kurang berpartisipasi dalam permainan yang melibatkan gerakan. Metode yang digunakan adalah permainan playmate sensory path dengan memperhatikan aspek keseimbangan, kekuatan, dan kelincahan anak dalam melakukan gerakan-gerakan dalam permainan, seperti melompat, berjalan zig-zag, dan berjinjit. hasil dari pelaksanaan program karya ilmiah tentang pengaruh metode playmate sensory path terhadap kemampuan motorik kasar anak usia 4-5 tahun di PAUD Pelangi Desa Tanjung Tambak Baru terdapat perubahan perilaku sebelum dan sesudah penerapan metode permainan playmate sensory path. Kemampuan motorik kasar yang dimiliki anak dilihat dari aspek keseimbangan, kekuatan dan kelincahan mengalami perkembangan dengan indikator kategori sangat baik. Anak menjadi lebih aktif dan ceria dalam berinteraksi

Abstract

In the dynamics of the modern workplace, high work pressure and psychological stress can potentially lead to a decline in employees' subjective well-being (SWB). This study aims to evaluate the effectiveness of a mindfulness program in improving the SWB of employees in the Social Rehabilitation Division of the Social Service Office of Musi Banyuasin Regency. Mindfulness is an approach that helps employees reduce impulsive reactions that often worsen psychological conditions. Beyond alleviating mental burdens, mindfulness also enhances employee well-being and work productivity. This research employed a quasi-experimental method with a one-group pretest-posttest design. The subjects consisted of 11 employees from the Social Rehabilitation Division. Data were collected using a Likert-scale questionnaire measuring subjective well-being, which was self-developed by the researcher and tested for validity and reliability using SPSS version 27.0.1. Initially, the SWB scale contained 54 items; after item analysis, 49 valid items were retained with a reliability coefficient (Cronbach’s Alpha) of 0.899, indicating strong internal consistency. SWB scores were measured before and after the mindfulness program to evaluate its effectiveness. The Paired Sample T-Test analysis showed a significance value of P = 0.002 (P < 0.05), indicating a significant improvement in SWB following the intervention. These findings offer a practical solution for enhancing employee well-being and managing occupational stress more effectively, thereby increasing motivation and productivity at work.ABSTRAKPada dinamika dunia kerja yang penuh dengan tekanan kerja yang tinggi dan stres psikologis dapat berpotensi dalam penurunan subjective well being pada pegawai. Penelitian ini memiliki tujuan untuk mengevaluasi efektivitas program mindfulness dalam meningkatkan subjective well being pada pegawai di bidang Rehabilitasi Sosial Dinas Sosial Kabupaten Musi Banyuasin. Mindfulness adalah salah satu pendekatan yang dapat membantu pegawai dalam mengurangi reaksi impulsif yang sering kali memperburuk kondisi psikologis, tidak hanya mengatasi beban mental mindfulness juga dapat meningkatkan kesejahteraan pegawai dan produktivitas kerja. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kuasi-eksperimental dengan desain one-group pretest- postest. Subject penelitian sebanyak 11 orang pegawai pada bidang Rehabilitasi Sosial Dinsos Muba. Data dikumpulkan dalam bentuk skala Likert melalui kuesioner subjective well being yang dibuat sendiri oleh peneliti yang sudah di uji validitas dan reliabilitasnya menggunakan SPSS 27.0.1 dengan jumlah 54 item sebelum diuji coba dan setelah uji coba menjadi 49 item valid dengan nilai reliabilitas sebesar 0.899, yang menandakan sudah layak untuk digunakan. Tingkat SWB pada pegawai diukur setelah dan sesudah diberikan program mindfulness untuk melihat seberapa efektif program ini dalam meningkatkan subjective well being pegawai. Analsis Uji Paired Sample T-Test menunjukkan hasil P (Sig) 0.002 (P < 0.05) yang dapat disimpulkan bahwa program mindfulness memiliki dampak signifikan dalam peningkatan SWB sebelum dan sesudah treatment pada pegawai bidang Rehabilitasi Sosial Dinsos Muba. Hasil dari penelitian ini memberikan solusi kepada pegawai bidang Rehabilitasi Sosial dalam meningkatkan kesejahteraan serta dapat mengelola stress kerja menjadi lebih baik sehingga dapat meningkatkan semangat kerja mereka.
