Abstract

This study examines the implementation of Management Information Systems (MIS) in supporting administrative services at MA Miftahul Ulum Cermenan Ngoro Jombang. Using a qualitative descriptive approach, the research explores the complexities and dynamics of MIS implementation in an Islamic educational context. Data was collected through in-depth interviews, direct observations, and document analysis. The findings reveal significant progress in integrating information technology into various aspects of educational management and services, including teaching, administration, and facility management. The madrasah has demonstrated a commitment to improving operational efficiency and educational service quality through technological innovation. However, challenges persist, including gaps between planning and implementation, the need for IT infrastructure development, and human resource capacity building. In the context of Islamic education, MIS implementation opens opportunities to strengthen Islamic values and principles through technology while maintaining the essence of human interaction in education. The study concludes that successful MIS implementation at MA Miftahul Ulum depends on the institution's ability to address existing challenges, maintain focus on core educational objectives, and continuously adapt to evolving technological and educational needs. With a holistic and strategic approach, MA Miftahul Ulum has the potential to become a model of excellence in integrating modern technology with traditional Islamic educational values, creating an innovative and relevant learning environment in the digital era

Abstract

This article aims to describe the application of Service Learning learning in the formation of religious moderation in the Darussalam Pare Kediri Pondok Pesantren. A qualitative approach with the design of case studies is used to understand the impact of the application of this learning in developing a moderate attitude and a balanced religious understanding over the centuries. The research participants consisted of the centers involved in the Service Learning program and the educators who planned and oversaw its implementation. Data was collected through in-depth interviews with centers, participatory observations of learning activities, and analysis of program-related documents. Data credibility is strengthened through the triangulation of data sources and the verification of findings with respondents. Data portability is observed through an in-depth description of the training context. Data confirmability is emphasized by using direct quotes from the original data to support interpretation. The result of this research is to reveal the application of service learning capable of providing a real experience to the center in serving the community, understanding social reality, and connecting it with religious values. This research contributes to understanding how the application of Service Learning learning can help shape religious moderation among the clergy. These findings provide insight into the effectiveness of this approach in integrating religious understanding with real-life experiences in society.

Abstract

This study examines the reconstruction of the Islamic Religious Education (PAI) curriculum as a strategy to prevent bullying in SMA Primaganda. The problem of bullying in schools is a serious issue that requires special attention. The hypothesis is that the integration of anti-bullying values ​​in the PAI curriculum will be effective in reducing bullying incidents in schools. This study uses a case study method with a qualitative approach, involving in-depth interviews with PAI teachers, students, and education experts, participant observation, and analysis of curriculum documents. The results of the study indicate that the reconstruction of the PAI curriculum that integrates anti-bullying values ​​has succeeded in reducing bullying incidents in schools. This success was achieved through systematic implementation that included the development of learning modules, teacher training, and collaborative activities. A holistic approach involving the dimensions of moral knowledge, moral feelings, and moral actions has proven effective in increasing students' awareness and understanding of the negative impacts of bullying. The continuous evaluation system confirms the creation of positive changes in school culture, marked by increased empathy and cooperation among students. The findings of the study indicate that the integration of anti-bullying values ​​in the PAI curriculum is not only effective in preventing bullying but also contributes to the formation of positive student character and the creation of a safe and inclusive learning environment. This curriculum reconstruction model can be a reference for other educational institutions in developing effective bullying prevention programs.

Abstract

Actinomycetes form associations with plants through colonizing plant tissues (endophytes) or by residing in the soil around some plants' roots (rhizosphere). Actinomycetes are known to produce antibacterial compounds. This study aimed to investigate the antibacterial activity of actinomycetes associated with the clove plant (Syzygium aromaticum) against Staphylococcus aureus and Escherichia coli. Actinomycetes were isolated from clove plants and the rhizosphere, and their antimicrobial activity against Staphylococcus aureus and Escherichia coli was evaluated using the agar plug method, where the presence of transparent zones around 10-day-old actinomycete growth indicated inhibition of bacterial growth. Four isolates showed inhibitory effects against Staphylococcus aureus, while only three isolates, B.4, T.3, and T.4, demonstrated inhibitory activity against Escherichia coli, as indicated by the presence of inhibition zones. Isolate T.3 exhibited the highest inhibition zone of 8.5 mm against S. aureus, whereas B.4 displayed the highest inhibition zone of 7.7 mm against E. coli. In conclusion, the actinomycetes found in clove plants (Syzygium aromaticum) demonstrate antibacterial properties against Staphylococcus aureus and Escherichia coli, indicating their potential as antibacterial agents.
