Abstract

Background : Data access using copper is considered slower than Fiber Optic access networks, which encourages many customers who switch to Fiber Optic. Objective : This study aims to analyze the installation of Fiber Optic networks using Optic System Software in new areas and analyze attenuation in Fiber Optic networks using Link power budget. Method : The method used in this study is PPDIOO : Prepare, Plan, Design, Implement, Operate, and Optimize. Results : The Optical Power Meter (OPM) simulation on the new ODP using Opti System produces a value of receiving power (Pr) -19.48 dBm (as a sample) and for the calculation results using the Power Link Budget (PLB) the total value of receiving Power (Pr) -20.40 dBm while Measurement results using Optical Power Meter (OPM) (Pr) -19.89 dBm (as a sample). Conclusion : The results of measurements and measurements have similarities, namely if the distance between the Optical Distribution Cabinet (ODC) and Optical Distribution Point (ODP) is greater, the greater the value of the receiving power or attenuation.

Abstract

Lecturers are professional educators and scientists with the main task of teaching, transforming, developing and disseminating science, technology, and art (IPTEKS) through teaching, research and community service. The position of lecturers as professionals serves to increase the dignity of lecturers and develop science and technology to improve the quality of national education. The goal is to implement the national education system and realize the goals of national education. The head of the study program and the dean in determining the lecturers for the courses are still done manually based on the competence of each lecturer and looking at the previous semester's teacher decisions. In this method of determination, of course, the results obtained are still not optimal because there are still some lecturers who do not match the competencies/qualifications of the courses being taught. Based on the problems above, the faculty will think of a better system, namely switching from a manual system to a Group Decision Support System (GDSS). The GDSS method used is the promethee and borda method which is one method of solving decision-making problems in a group. With promethee and borda method, several different opinions or perceptions about a decision can be combined into a group/joint decision. That way, the resulting decisions can be accepted by the group. The system development method uses the waterfall method which consists of several stages, including: data collection stage, analysis stage, design stage, coding stage and testing stage. The conclusion of this study resulted in a Group Decision Support System for determining the lecturers of courses using the borda method. Based on the results of system testing, respondents stated that the system can simplify and speed up the process of determining the course lecturers.

Abstract

Computer network infrastructure is one of the supporting components for smooth operations for companies that utilize Information and Communication Technology (ICT). Companies are required to continue to innovate to continue to grow so it requires various adjustments, including changes to the policy configuration of computer network infrastructure. Implementation of configuration changes to computer network infrastructure if done manually will be inefficient and ineffective. In addition, it is prone to errors as a result of human error resulting in downtime. The application of Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment (CI/CD) can be a solution to overcome these problems. This study analyzes the implementation of CI/CD on network infrastructure which is simulated using the PNETLab and GitLab CI/CD tools as well as Ansible Configuration Management. Based on the tests conducted five times, it can be concluded that the Ansible Playbook that has been created and integrated with the GitLab CI/CD pipeline can be used to automate configuration management of MikroTik-based network infrastructure that is simulated in PNETLab. CI/CD can speed up the implementation of configuration changes on network devices through an automated process. Testing additional configurations on the test network takes an average of 82.6 seconds. Meanwhile, on the production network, it takes an average of 80.2 seconds. On the other hand, testing the configuration deletion on the test network takes an average of 56.6 seconds. Meanwhile, on the production network, the average is 54.4 seconds. In addition, the application of CI/CD can minimize errors because before the configuration is applied to the production network, the configuration is tested first on the test network automatically. Application of the configuration to the production network is carried out only if testing of the configuration on the test network is successful. The CI/CD mechanism can improve the performance and reliability of computer network infrastructure.

Abstract

Background: Coins are widely used in game machines to play game applications. Internet use is usually done by purchasing an internet package. This method is often used, but coins are rarely used.Objective: The aim of this research is how to make a machine that is capable of using coins as internet payment, especially hotspots.Methods: The research method was carried out using an experimental method with stages of analysis, prototype design, and testing using a descriptive approach.Result: This research produced 1 one-unit prototype machine equipped with an application for internet hotspots by inserting IDR 500 and IDR 1000 coins with connection limits according to the value of the coins entered.Conclusion: This research produces prototypes and coin internet application software.

Abstract

– Streaming is a term for a video or audio file that can be played without first downloading the file. Streaming can also be interpreted as a technique used to transfer data so that it can be processed continuously and continuously. Currently, there are many applications that run audio and video streaming, such as Gnump3d, Spotify, Joox, Deezer and so on. The number of applications does not guarantee the quality of service or good QoS if run on the internet network that passes through many network devices. QoS problems on Audio Streaming media will not be seen much on physical servers but will be seen if the application is installed on a Virtual Private Server. The purpose of this study is to determine the level of service quality or QoS generated by a Gnump3d application installed on a VPS by only paying attention to the parameters of Delay, Jiiter, Packet, Loss and Throughput. The research methodology uses the Network Development Life Cycle (NDLC) methodology. The results of this study obtained that the QoS of audio streaming is considered good based on the TIPHON QoS measurement standard and only one QoS parameter is considered to have failed, namely Jitter because it has a value that does not match the standard.

Abstract

Kepolisian Negara Republik Indonesia bertujuan untuk mewujudkan keamanan dalam negeri yang meliputi terpeliharanya keamanan dan ketertiban masyarakat, tertib dan tegaknya hukum, terselenggaranya perlindungan, pengayoman, dan pelayanan kepada masyarakat, serta terbinanya ketenteraman masyarakat dengan menjunjung tinggi hak asasi manusia. Anggota Kepolisian Negara Republik Indonesia yang selanjutnya disebut anggota Polri adalah pegawai negeri pada Kepolisian Negara Republik Indonesia. Kepolisian Daerah Nusa Tenggara Barat (Polda NTB) adalah sebuah lembaga pemerintah yang bertanggung jawab dalam memberikan pelayanan kepada masyarakat. Dalam menjalankan tugas ini, kehadiran personel yang tepat dan berkualitas sangat penting untuk mendukung tujuan tersebut, serta untuk menjamin efisiensi dan efektivitas operasional kepolisian. Saat ini, instansi ini belum sepenuhnya memanfaatkan kemajuan teknologi informasi untuk mendukung kebutuhan esensial seperti penempatan personel. Proses seleksi penempatan personel ini membutuhkan tingkat ketelitian standar yang tinggi dan perhatian ekstra, dengan mempertimbangkan kriteria khusus dan serangkaian tes yang dilakukan. Karena pentingnya proses ini, jika dilakukan dengan baik, dapat menghasilkan penempatan personel yang tepat, berkualitas, dan akuntabel. Dalam sistem rekomendasi penempatan personel Polda Nusa Tenggara Barat menggunakan metode analytical hierarchy process (AHP) dan profile matching. AHP berupa model pendukung keputusan yang fleksibel dalam bentuk struktur hierarki, yang memungkinkan individu-individu atau kelompok-kelompok memunculkan gagasan masalah berupa membangun perkiraan sendiri serta melahirkan pemecahan yang diinginkan, sedangkan profile matching adalah sebuah mekanisme pengambilan keputusan dengan mengasumsikan bahwa terdapat tingkat variabel prediktor yang ideal yang harus dipenuhi oleh subyek yang diteliti. Kriteria yang digunakan dalam penelitian antara lain kinerja, kedisiplinan, rohani, psikologi, kesehatan, jasmani dan kemampuan teknologi informasi.

Abstract

Desa Saribaye merupakan salah satu desa yang terletak di Kecamatan Lingsar Kabupaten Lombok Barat, Provinsi Nusa Tenggara Barat. Desa Saribaye memiliki potensi Agrowisata yang memanfaatkan sektor pertanian atau perkebunan sebagai destinasi wisata yang dapat menarik para wisatawan. Obyek wisata desa Agrowisata Saribaye yang utama ada dua yaitu Kebun Irup dan Satnite. Permasalahan yang dijumpai di Desa Agrowisata Saribaye adalah  belum banyak dikenal wisatawan, pengunjuang hanya berasal dari desa sekitar, dan Desa Saribaye belum mempunyai media promosi untuk memperkenalkan sebagai desa Agrowisata. Sehingga kegiatan pengabdian ini bertujuan memberikan solusi permasalahan di desa Saribaye dengan membuatkan media promosi dalam bentuk aplikasi website untuk mempromosikan sebagai desa Agrowisata. Metode yang digunakan dalam pengabdian ini adalah Prapengabdian atau Persiapan pengabdian mulai dari survey sampai dengan pembuatan aplikasi website dengan metode Waterfall, dan metode kedua yaitu Pelaksanaan Pengabdian dengan melakukan Installasi Program Aplikasi dan melakukan pelatihan kepada petugas atau operator desa menggunakan program aplikasi. Hasil kegiatan pengabdian ini diterapkanya program aplikasi media promosi desa Agrowisata Saribaye berbasis website, dan telah dilakukan pelatihan penggunaan program aplikasi kepada aparat desa Saribaye. Kesimpulanya kegiatan ini dapat memberikan terobosan baru di desa Saribaye dalam mempromosikan sebagai desa Argrowisata di masyarakat luas dan dapat memudahkan para calon wisatawan mendapatkan informasi awal sebelum berkunjung dengan mudah dan terupdate.

Abstract

Virtualization technology has been applied in the world of education including in Vocational High Schools (SMK) of Computer and Network Engineering (TKJ) to support the teaching and learning process in the laboratory. Teachers face challenges when preparing the virtual laboratory infrastructure, especially when used by many students. It is necessary to create containers, user accounts and set access permissions so that each student can use the virtual laboratory built using Proxmox. This process is generally done manually so it takes time and effort and is prone to errors. Infrastructure as Code (IaC) is an approach to managing and providing Information Technology (IT) infrastructure by writing and running code automatically to overcome manual configuration problems. Community service activities with this training method aim to provide insight and knowledge about IaC using Ansible on Proxmox so as to help teachers manage virtual laboratories more effectively and efficiently. The training was conducted online via Cisco Webex and each teacher who participated in the practice directly using a Virtual Private Server (VPS) with a Proxmox installation and received very positive feedback from the participants. Based on the results of the post-training questionnaire filled out by 17 participants, the information obtained was that participants were able to receive and apply the material related to IaC using Ansible on VPS Proxmox very well by 82% and well by 18%. This achievement is an indicator of the success of the objectives of the implementation of the community service activities that have been carried out.
