Abstract

This research is based on the lack of learning media that can help students during Distance Learning. Learning Media developed in this study can be used and accessed anywhere and anytime to help students understand the material being taught. The Media that will be developed in the research will be in the form of applications that help teachers in delivering material and help students to understand more about the material being taught. This study focused on science subjects, especially magnetic materials for Grade VI students. E-module is a learning module that is packaged into electronic form to facilitate the learning process that is made systemically, and is an example of the benefits of technology in the field of Education. The development of this e-module uses discovery learning approach. In developing e-module Seroid Learning media based on Android on magnetic material for Grade VI elementary school students . Achievement in this development to test apalikasi developed is included in the category of valid and practical, with research development methods RnD (Research and Development) using Thiagarajan 4D model that Define, Design, Develop, and Disseminate. The development of the serli e-module application will be carried out in the sixth grade of Inpres 12 Baiya, elementary school by conducting a small trial of 6 students.

Abstract

This research aims to develop the teaching materials for Indonesian language poetry based on the Suchman’s model which have been tested for validity and feasibility to be used as a teaching material.  Additionally, it aims to test whether the use of developed teaching materials can increase the value of the college students’ learning outcomes in Indonesian poetry study.  This research is a developmental research which refers to four stages of development that consist of (1) defining, (2) designing, (3) developing, and (4) disseminating.  To see the increase in the college students’ learning outcomes, Normalized test (N-Gain) is used.  Derived from the test results, it is concluded that the teaching materials for Indonesian language poetry based on the developed Suchman’s model is valid and feasibly to use. The test results through N-Gain proved that 0.78% is in the good category and there is an increase in the college students learning outcomes with an average value of 81.4.

Abstract

This research aims to develop the teaching material products in the form of children's literature text books based on the wisdom of local area. This research method uses a Research and Development (R&D) using the ADDIE development model to develop the teaching materials for the children's literature based on wisdom of local area (North Sumatra) which consists of the analysis, design, development, implementation, and evaluation stages. The sample in this study was the fifth grade students of SD (primary school) of Swasta Muhammadiyah 12 Medan in Medan.  The results proved that the students’ learning outcomes in children's literature increased after using teaching materials based on local area wisdom (North Sumatra).  The average score of the students before using teaching materials was 68, meanwhile the average value of the students after using teaching materials was 82. The test scores for the children's literature appreciation learning outcomes obtained an average score of 79.2.  The results of the calculation through the t test by using SPSS test showed a significant result before and after using the teaching materials.  It can be concluded that the teaching materials for the children's literature based on local area wisdom (North Sumatra) are appropriate for the students to use.

Abstract

Blotong is sugar factory waste which can be used as organic fertilizer. Research on the effect of sugarcane doses for several types of soil was carried out with the aim of knowing the effect of blotong doses and soil types on the growth of oil palm seedlings in designpre-nursery. The research was conducted at the Stiper Agricultural Institute Research and Experimental Garden located in Maguwoharjo village, Depok District, Sleman Regency, DIY from March to June 2021. The experimental method used was a completely randomized design with two factors. The irst factor was the blotong dosage which consists of five levels, namely 0, 100, 200, 300 and 400 grams / polybag. The second factor was the type of soil which was divided into three levels, namely latosol, regosol and grumusol. The research data were analyzed using analysis of variance at a real level of 5% and if there were significant differences, it was continued with the Duncan Multiple Range Test. Observations were made on the parameters of seedling height, number of leaves, leaf area, fresh crown weight, shoot dry weight, root fresh weight, root dry weight,  length of primary root, number of primary root, number of secondary root, number of tertiary root and root volume. The results showed that there was no significantly interaction between blotong and soil type on all observed parameters. The use of blotong at a dose of 300 g significantly increased seedling height and primary root length. The use of latosol soil as a seeding medium significantly increased seedling height and fresh shoot weight, while grumusol soil increased the number of secondary and tertiary roots.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis implementasi Model Pembelajaran Berbasis Proyek (PjBL) dalam meningkatkan kosakata Bahasa Indonesia bagi siswa Muslim di Satun Wittaya School, Thailand. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah studi kasus dengan pendekatan kualitatif. Partisipan penelitian melibatkan siswa dan guru Bahasa Indonesia di sekolah tersebut. Model Pembelajaran Berbasis Proyek diintegrasikan ke dalam kurikulum Bahasa Indonesia untuk memfasilitasi pembelajaran yang kontekstual dan menarik. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa implementasi PjBL efektif meningkatkan pemahaman dan penguasaan kosakata Bahasa Indonesia siswa. Penilaian formatif dan sumatif mengungkapkan peningkatan signifikan dalam keterampilan berbahasa siswa. Dalam konteks keberagaman budaya di Satun Wittaya School, model pembelajaran ini juga mendorong apresiasi terhadap keanekaragaman budaya Indonesia. Hasil penelitian ini memberikan kontribusi pada pengembangan metode pembelajaran Bahasa Indonesia yang kontekstual dan sesuai dengan kebutuhan siswa Muslim di lingkungan internasional.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk melakukan analisis afiksasi pada tulisan siswa Darul U-loom School Satun di Thailand, dengan fokus memahami penggunaan dan distribusi afiks dalam teks mereka. Metode penelitian ini melibatkan pengumpulan tulisan siswa sebagai data primer, kemudian dilakukan analisis afiksasi menggunakan pendekatan linguistik terkini. Hasil analisis menunjukkan bahwa siswa menggunakan afiks dengan beragam pola, termasuk prefiks, sufiks, dan konfiks, untuk membentuk kata-kata yang sesuai dengan tata bahasa Indonesia. Statistik menonjolkan variasi afiksasi yang digunakan siswa dalam mengekspresikan ide dan makna dalam tulisan mereka. Kesalahan penggunaan afiks juga diidentifikasi dan dianalisis secara mendalam, memberikan pemahaman yang lebih baik terhadap tantangan yang dihadapi siswa dalam menguasai afiksasi. Beberapa faktor yang berkontribusi terhadap kesalahan ini mencakup kurangnya pemahaman aturan afiksasi, keterampilan menulis yang masih perlu diasah, dan kurangnya bimbingan dari guru. Interpretasi mendalam terhadap hasil analisis ini dikaitkan dengan literatur terkait afiksasi dalam bahasa Indonesia. Implikasi dari hasil penelitian ini juga dibahas, terutama terkait dengan pengajaran bahasa Indonesia di lingkungan sekolah Darul U-loom School Satun. Temuan ini memberikan pemahaman lebih lanjut tentang proses pembelajaran siswa dalam menggunakan afiksasi dan dapat digunakan sebagai dasar untuk perbaikan kurikulum dan metode pengajaran.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk melakukan analisis mendalam terhadap kesalahan pelafalan bunyi Bahasa Indonesia pada siswa Ob-Om School di Thailand. Fokus penelitian adalah mengidentifikasi jenis-jenis kesalahan pelafalan, faktor-faktor yang mempengaruhi, dan perbandingan antara siswa berlatar belakang pendidikan bahasa Indonesia dengan siswa berlatar belakang pendidikan non bahasa Indonesia. Penelitian dilakukan dengan metode observasi, wawancara, dan analisis data kualitatif. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa terdapat perbedaan signifikan dalam kesalahan pelafalan antara kedua kelompok siswa. Siswa berlatar belakang pendidikan bahasa Indonesia cenderung memiliki tingkat kesalahan pelafalan yang lebih rendah dibandingkan dengan siswa berlatar belakang pendidikan non bahasa Indonesia. Jenis-jenis kesalahan pelafalan yang dominan mencakup bunyi vokal /e/ dan /o/, bunyi konsonan /r/, /l/, /f/, /v/, /z/, /s/, dan /c/, serta intonasi dan tekanan kata. Faktor-faktor yang mempengaruhi kesalahan pelafalan meliputi interferensi bahasa ibu, keterbatasan kosakata, minimnya latihan berbicara, dan rendahnya motivasi belajar. Siswa yang memiliki latar belakang pendidikan bahasa Indonesia cenderung lebih unggul dalam pelafalan, menunjukkan bahwa faktor pendidikan memegang peran penting dalam kemampuan pelafalan siswa. Implikasi penelitian ini memberikan gambaran yang lebih mendalam tentang masalah pelafalan bahasa Indonesia di kalangan siswa di luar negeri, khususnya di Ob-Om School di Thailand. Temuan ini dapat menjadi dasar untuk penyusunan program pembelajaran yang lebih efektif dalam meningkatkan kemampuan pelafalan siswa yang memiliki bahasa ibu berbeda dengan Bahasa Indonesia.

Abstract

This research is motivated by the low learning outcomes of students in science subjects because teachers still use the lecture method. This research aims to determine the effect of the natural exploration method on student learning outcomes in science subjects. The method used in this research is a quasi-experimental research method with a quantitative approach. Based on the results of the data analysis carried out, it was found that the average learning outcome for control class students using conventional methods in the pret-test was 66.59 and the post-test was 77.27. And the average learning outcomes of experimental class students in the pret-test was 73.86 and the post-test was 82.05. This shows that the average result in the experimental class (after using the environmental exploration method) was higher than the control class (conventional method). Meanwhile, the researcher carried out the analysis by testing the hypothesis, namely using the t-test to determine each variables have an influence or not, namely variables X and Y. The analysis results obtained show that the method of exploring the surrounding nature has a significant value of 0.022. So it can be concluded that if the significance value is 0.022 0.05, then Ha is accepted or there is an influence of the natural exploration method on student learning outcomes in science subjects.

Abstract

The problem in this study is that the Learning media is quite limited and less interesting. The difficulty of teachers controlling the online learning process during the pandemic. The purpose of this research is to develop a science practicum e-module with a valid and practical Android-based discovery learning approach. This research is research and development with the Borg and Gall model. The 5 stages of this research are preliminary research and analysis, developing initial products, expert validation and revision, small-scale field trials and product revisions, and large-scale field trials. The research instrument used interviews and media validation questionnaire sheets, material validation , and user validation. This study was conducted on a small scale where the subjects were class teachers and 6 students of Grade IV SD Muhammadiyah 1 Palu. Based on the results of data analysis obtained material validity values of 23, 12, 9, 11, and 12 with a very strong Category. user (student) satisfaction respectively 91.7, 88.3, ​​96.7, and 86.7 7, and user (teacher) satisfaction of 90, 70, 100, and 100 with very good category. So it can be concluded that the Android-based E-module discon (E-module DISROID) developed in the criteria is very valid and practical. So that this module can be used in science learning, especially for practicum activities in Grade IV of elementary school.
