Abstract

The role of disaster volunteers is critical in providing essential assistance and support during emergency situations. These volunteers often face hazardous environments and various physical and psychological challenges that can impact their overall health and performance. Ensuring the effectiveness of disaster response efforts necessitates prioritizing the health and safety of these dedicated individuals. This study investigates the influence of Occupational Health and Safety (OHS) practices on the effectiveness of training and the job satisfaction of disaster volunteers. Using quantitative methods, data were collected from disaster volunteers in Banten through questionnaires, interviews, documentation, and literature reviews. The findings indicate that OHS practices significantly enhance the quality and effectiveness of training programs, which in turn increases volunteers' job satisfaction. Effective safety training not only protects volunteers but also contributes to the long-term sustainability of the organization. Additionally, the study reveals that OHS has a significant indirect effect on job satisfaction through training. A healthy and safe work environment directly improves training effectiveness and indirectly contributes to increased job satisfaction. The study concludes that volunteer organizations should strengthen OHS practices and provide comprehensive training to ensure the success of their programs and improve the overall job satisfaction and performance of disaster volunteers. Future research could explore the quality of OHS implementation across different volunteer organizations and examine the long-term effects of OHS and training on job satisfaction and volunteer retention.

Abstract

This study was conducted with the aim of knowing the extent to which on the job training methods can affect employee performance and whether the intervening variables of professionalism and self efficacy can increase the effect of on the job training methods on employee performance. Total population and sample are 74 respondents. The data analysis technique of this research uses Partial Least Square (SmartPLS 3.0). The results obtained are on the job training affects employee performance by 22.9%, on the job training affects professionalism is 72.7%., on the job training affects self-efficacy by 77.4%, professionalism affects performance employees by 44.7% and self-efficacy affects employee performance by 32.7%. As well as the value of the indirect effect between on the job training, Professionalism and Employee Performance, the original sample interval coefficient value is 0.325 or 34.5% while the indirect effect between on the job training, Self efficacy and Employee Performance is obtained by the original sample interval coefficient value of 0.253 or 25.3%.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengevaluasi kinerja pelayanan publik di Kecamatan Ciomas menggunakan metode Balanced Scorecard (BSC). BSC adalah alat manajemen strategis yang mengukur kinerja organisasi melalui empat perspektif: keuangan, pelanggan, proses bisnis internal, dan pembelajaran serta pertumbuhan. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode deskriptif kualitatif dengan pengumpulan data melalui survei, wawancara, dan analisis dokumen. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa perspektif keuangan menunjukkan efisiensi dalam penggunaan anggaran, namun perlu peningkatan dalam alokasi sumber daya. Perspektif pelanggan menunjukkan kepuasan masyarakat yang tinggi terhadap pelayanan, namun ada beberapa keluhan terkait kecepatan pelayanan. Perspektif proses bisnis internal mengindikasikan adanya sistem yang efektif, tetapi masih terdapat beberapa hambatan birokrasi. Perspektif pembelajaran dan pertumbuhan menunjukkan adanya program pelatihan yang cukup baik, namun perlu ditingkatkan untuk mengimbangi perubahan teknologi. Secara keseluruhan, implementasi BSC membantu dalam mengidentifikasi area yang memerlukan perbaikan dan penguatan dalam pelayanan publik di Kecamatan Ciomas. Rekomendasi yang dihasilkan diharapkan dapat meningkatkan kualitas pelayanan dan kepuasan masyarakat secara berkelanjutan. Kata Kunci : Kinerja, Pelayanan Publik, Balance Scorecard

Abstract

This research background is that there is an increase in the unemployment rate in Banten Province, and available labor resources in the labor market in Banten Province are growing every year. But on the other hand, due to the increase in the unemployment rate every year and the increase in the number of workers, the existing workforce is not being absorbed properly. The purpose of this research is to find out how efforts to deal with unemployment through efforts to reduce unemployment through micro, small and medium enterprises (UMKM) in Banten Province. In this study, researchers used qualitative research methods. Small and medium enterprises in Banten Province absorb 235,022 workers, namely the food industry with 91,476 workers. followed by the garment industry with 34,508 people, and the wood and cork industry excluding furniture with 3,056 people. MSMEs have made a major contribution to economic growth and have had a positive impact on people's welfare, especially those in Banten Province

Abstract

This study reviews the literature on human resource diversity management and knowledge sharing. 11 international journals were taken as samples and then identified and analyzed. The author examines the implementation of human resource diversity management and knowledge sharing in several countries. This research study shows the importance of human resource diversity management (HRD) in encouraging knowledge sharing in the workplace and how Thailand, Japan, and Indonesia implement gender equality in organizations. The analysis results in this study concluded from the three countries that the role of women in organizations is very beneficial for increasing knowledge and the smoothness of an organization and can develop the Company's performance. However, it is still dominated by men. This article contributes to the literature on human resource diversity management and knowledge sharing, which will be a reference for future research.

Abstract

This study was conducted to determine the effect of brand image in mediating the relationship between product quality and purchasing decisions on Wardah products in Serang City. This study used 190 samples with accidental sampling method. The data used are primary data obtained from the results of questionnaires filled out by 190 wardah product customers in the city of Serang, and secondary data obtained from wardah sales data, published books and journals. The data analysis technique used is descriptive statistical analysis, inferential statistics which include validity and reliability tests. Data processing is done using the Smart PLS 3.0 analysis tool. The results showed that product quality has a positive and significant effect on purchase decisions. Product quality has a positive and significant effect on brand image. Brand image has a positive and significant effect on purchase decision. Brand image can mediate the relationship between the effect of product quality on purchase decision.

Abstract

Kepercayaan dan berbagi pengetahuan dalam sebuah organisasi memainkan peran penting dalam meningkatkan kerja sama dan kinerja tim. Kepercayaan memungkinkan anggota tim merasa lebih nyaman dalam berbagi informasi dan pengetahuan untuk mencapai tujuan bersama. Hal ini juga membentuk lingkungan kerja yang produktif dan harmonis di mana setiap anggota tim merasa dihargai dan didukung oleh rekan-rekannya. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui pentingnya kepercayaan dalam sebuah organisasi. Hasil dari penelitian ini adalah Kepercayaan dalam organisasi memainkan peran penting dalam mendorong perilaku berbagi pengetahuan di tempat kerja. Hubungan kepercayaan antara karyawan dan atasan serta dukungan pimpinan dapat menjadi mediator yang signifikan dalam meningkatkan berbagi pengetahuan. Kepercayaan vertikal (antara karyawan dengan atasan) dan horizontal (antara sesama karyawan) memiliki dampak yang signifikan, terutama bagi karyawan dengan tingkat pendidikan yang lebih rendah yang membutuhkan lebih banyak dukungan dari atasan untuk merasa percaya diri dalam berbagi pengetahuan. Oleh karena itu, menciptakan lingkungan kerja yang dilandasi oleh kepercayaan dapat mendorong kolaborasi, inovasi, dan pertukaran pengetahuan yang lebih efektif di dalam organisasi.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis pengaruh live streaming terhadap keputusan pembelian pengguna Lazada, dengan flash sale sebagai variabel intervening. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah pendekatan kuantitatif dengan teknik asosiatif. Sampel terdiri dari 159 responden pengguna aktif Lazada, dan data dianalisis menggunakan Structural Equation Modeling (SEM) berbasis SmartPLS. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa live streaming berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap keputusan pembelian, serta terhadap flash sale. Selain itu, flash sale juga memberikan pengaruh positif terhadap keputusan pembelian dan terbukti mampu memediasi hubungan antara live streaming dan keputusan pembelian. Temuan ini mengindikasikan bahwa integrasi antara strategi live streaming dan flash sale merupakan pendekatan pemasaran yang efektif dalam mendorong keputusan pembelian konsumen di platform e-commerce.

Abstract

This study aims to examine the effect of advertising creativity and product quality on purchase decisions with brand image as an intervening variable. The research method used is quantitative with a descriptive approach. This research collects data based on questionnaires, literature studies and observations. The population in this study were Lux bath soap users in Cilegon City aged 17-35 years and a sample of 102 respondents using purposive sampling. The data analysis method used is Structural Equation Modeling (SEM) with the SmartPLS 4 analysis tool. This research has the results that advertising creativity has a positive and significant effect on purchase decisions, while product quality has positive and no significant effect on purchase decisions. Brand image can mediate the indirect influence of advertising creativity and product quality on purchasing decisions
