Abstract

This community service program aims to develop the arts and crafts skills of elementary school-aged children in Pampang Village, Panakkukang District, Makassar City. The training program is designed to provide a creative learning experience based on a participatory, educational, and fun approach. A total of 34 children were actively involved in the three-day training, with materials including collage art, crafts based on recycled materials, and expressive drawing. The training method uses learning-by-doing techniques and daily reflection to encourage the development of children's fine motor skills, creativity, and social character. Evaluation results showed that 88% of children participated fully in the activities, and more than 91% expressed enthusiasm. Pre-test and post-test scores also showed an increase in art understanding from an average of 56 to 87. In addition, facilitators noted an increase in the children's self-confidence, initiative, cooperation, and social responsibility. The impact of this program is not only visible in the children's work, but also in changes in their attitudes and social interactions during the training. To ensure sustainability, the Pampang Children's Creative Class Community was established as a forum for continued development.

Abstract

The development of artificial intelligence (AI) technology has opened new opportunities to support the scientific writing process, especially among educators. However, the level of AI utilization by teachers still faces challenges in aspects of digital literacy, academic ethics, and the sustainability of research practices. This community service activity aims to enhance digital literacy competence and AI-based scientific article writing skills for educators at SMK PGRI Sukodadi and SMK PGRI 1 Lamongan. The method used is participatory action through online training and mentoring via the Zoom platform, involving 52 educators. The activity was carried out in four stages: AI literacy training, article writing practice, synchronous mentoring, and evaluation of training outcomes and the formation of a writers' community. The results of the activity showed a significant improvement in digital literacy, academic self-confidence, and the quality of participants' writing structure. Participants demonstrated a better understanding of the use of AI as an ethical and productive writing aid. In addition, internal collaborative initiatives were established within the school, such as manuscript discussion forums and joint publication plans, marking the emergence of a mini research culture in the school environment. Although there were technical challenges such as limited internet connectivity and practice time, systematic mentoring proved effective in overcoming these obstacles. These findings underscore the importance of structured and sustainable strategies to strengthen educators' digital literacy so that AI technology becomes not only a technical tool but also an instrument to drive a research culture. Such mentoring has the potential to serve as a model for developing educators' competencies in Indonesia's vocational education ecosystem, while also supporting the improvement of the quality of educators' scientific publications.

Abstract

This community service article aims to enhance the understanding and skills of PKK and Dharma Wanita members in developing personal happiness while remaining empowered, productive, and socially engaged. The activity was conducted on October 14, 2025, at the Karangbinangun Subdistrict Hall, Lamongan Regency, and involved 70 participants. The methods included interactive lectures, participatory discussions, and affirmative relaxation sessions to support emotional management and self-confidence. Evaluation was carried out using a simple pre- and post-test measuring happiness levels and work motivation. The results indicated an increase in average happiness scores from 68 to 85 and work motivation from 70 to 88. Participant feedback also showed greater optimism, improved readiness to face family challenges, and increased motivation to participate in social and creative economic activities. Overall, the program had a positive impact on individual emotional well-being and strengthened the role of women as agents of change in the community.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh implementasi model discovery learning terhadap penguatan nilai demokrasi mahasiswa Program Studi Pendidikan Pancasila dan Kewarganegaraan (PPKn) pada pembelajaran mata kuliah Ilmu Politik. Penelitian ini dilaksanakan di Universitas Adi Buana Surabaya PSDKU Lamongan dengan menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif dan desain pre-experimental tipe one group pretest-posttest. Sampel penelitian berjumlah 10 mahasiswa. Teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan angket dan observasi. Analisis data dilakukan menggunakan statistik deskriptif dan uji paired sample t-test.Hasil penelitian menunjukkan adanya peningkatan nilai rata-rata mahasiswa dari 69,2 pada pretest menjadi 85,1 pada posttest. Hasil angket menunjukkan rata-rata skor sebesar 3,41 pada variabel discovery learning dan 3,44 pada nilai demokrasi, yang keduanya berada pada kategori sangat baik. Selain itu, hasil observasi juga menunjukkan rata-rata skor 3,32 pada implementasi discovery learning dan 3,34 pada nilai demokrasi mahasiswa dengan kategori sangat baik. Hasil uji hipotesis menunjukkan nilai signifikansi sebesar 0,000 < 0,05, sehingga terdapat pengaruh signifikan implementasi model discovery learning terhadap penguatan nilai demokrasi mahasiswa. Berdasarkan hasil tersebut, dapat disimpulkan bahwa model discovery learning efektif dalam meningkatkan aktivitas pembelajaran sekaligus memperkuat nilai-nilai demokrasi mahasiswa PPKn pada mata kuliah Ilmu Politik.

Abstract

Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) play a strategic role in supporting the village community economy, particularly as a primary source of income and job creation. However, many MSME actors still face various challenges in business management, especially in managerial aspects such as business planning, resource organisation, financial record keeping, and effective marketing strategies. These limitations in knowledge and skills impact the productivity and competitiveness of the business. Therefore, this community service activity aims to enhance the managerial capacity of MSME actors through practical business management training in Mojosari Village, Mantup District, Lamongan Regency. The implementation method includes the stages of identifying needs, designing training materials, conducting participatory training, intensive mentoring, and evaluating the results of the activities. The results show an improvement in the understanding and skills of MSME actors in managing their businesses more systematically and structurally, particularly in preparing simple bookkeeping, managing operations, and utilising more adaptive marketing strategies. In addition, there has been a shift in the mindset of business actors towards a more professional managerial orientation. This programme is expected to promote business sustainability, enhance MSME performance, and strengthen the economic competitiveness of the community at the local level.

Abstract

Perkembangan teknologi keuangan (financial technology/fintech) khususnya pada layanan pinjam-meminjam uang berbasis teknologi (fintech lending) memberikan kemudahan akses pembiayaan bagi masyarakat. Namun, kemajuan tersebut juga memunculkan persoalan hukum perdata yang cukup signifikan, terutama terkait penggunaan klausula baku dalam kontrak elektronik antara penyelenggara dan konsumen. Klausula baku umumnya disusun sepihak oleh penyelenggara tanpa memberi ruang negosiasi bagi peminjam. Dalam praktiknya, klausula tersebut sering memuat syarat-syarat yang memberatkan, seperti klausula eksonerasi yang mengalihkan tanggung jawab kepada konsumen atau membatasi hak-hak mereka. Hal ini menimbulkan ketidakseimbangan posisi tawar dan berpotensi melanggar prinsip keadilan dalam hukum perjanjian. Kajian ini berupaya menganalisis kedudukan klausula baku dalam perspektif hukum perdata Indonesia dengan menitikberatkan pada keterkaitan antara asas kebebasan berkontrak, Undang-Undang Nomor 8 Tahun 1999 tentang Perlindungan Konsumen, serta Peraturan Otoritas Jasa Keuangan (POJK) Nomor 77/POJK.01/2016 tentang Layanan Pinjam Meminjam Uang Berbasis Teknologi Informasi. Hasil analisis menunjukkan bahwa meskipun kebebasan berkontrak tetap menjadi dasar dalam pembentukan perjanjian, klausula baku yang merugikan konsumen dapat dinyatakan batal demi hukum. Selain itu, penyelenggara fintech dapat dikenakan sanksi administratif oleh OJK jika terbukti melanggar prinsip transparansi dan perlindungan konsumen. Oleh karena itu, penguatan regulasi, pengawasan, serta peningkatan literasi hukum masyarakat menjadi kunci penting dalam menciptakan hubungan hukum yang seimbang dan berkeadilan di era digital.
