Abstract

The Learning Guidance Institute (LBB) Taman Pintar Lamongan is a non-formal educational institution. Even though it is non-formal education, the assessment of learning outcomes for students must still be considered like formal education. The choice of Taman Pintar as a place for Community Service for us lecturers at PGRI Adi Buana University, Lamongan Campus, is inseparable because Taman Pintar is an institution that uses graduates on our campus as tutors in the last 10 years

Abstract

This study aims to describe the certification of educators, pedagogic competencies and professional competencies and to measure whether or not there are differences in pedagogic competence and professional competence between teachers certified educators and teachers have not yet certified educators This research includes research surveys with quantitative approaches that use inferential statistical analysis with non-parametric statistical tests that are different tests using rumu Test Mann Whitney. The population and samples in this study are all teachers who are either certified or who have not been certified. The data collection method uses the questionnaire as the primary data and is supported by interviews and documentation as secondary data. The results of the study showed that for pedagogic competencies and professional competencies teachers included good categories, while in the test results U Mann Whitney obtained U Count = 182.5 and U Table = 136. Which means that Ha is accepted and Ho is rejected because the U Count ≥ value rather than U Table means that there are differences in pedagogic competencies and professional competencies between educator-certified teachers and teachers who have not been certified educators, this indicates that educator certification has had an influence on the improvement of pedagogic competencies and professional competencies although not very large.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of the Community of Inquiry (CoI) model assisted by social media on problem-solving abilities. This type of research is a Quasi Experiment with a Non-Equivalent Control Group Design. As an Experiment Class is the Civics Education Study Program, the treatment of the CoI learning model is assisted by Social Media, and as the Control Class is the Economic Education Study Program with the treatment of the CoI learning model without assistance. The data were collected using the test technique and observation sheet and analyzed with a t-test at a significance level (α) = 0.05. A value of 3.585 was obtained that the equal variances were not assumed to have a sig. 0.001 is less than 0.05, so Ho is rejected, and Ha is accepted. Thus, there is a significant influence between the CoI learning model assisted by social media on problem-solving in educational policy courses.

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to find out which online shops have an effect on the shopping culture of the Made Taman community in Made Taman Village, Lamongan Regency in 2020. In this study the researchers chose to use quantitative methods. The population in this study were adolescents or adults aged 20 years to 40 years who resided in Made Taman north and south in 2020 in Made Village, Lamongan district, totaling 48 respondents. The test technique uses simple Linear Regression analysis, the results obtained from the calculation between the value of t count> t table with a significant level of 5%, namely 7,477> 2,012, so it can be concluded that H0 is rejected and H1 is accepted. After getting to know the Online Shop, people more often shop at online stores than traditional markets because the people of Made Taman are very satisfied with the quality given to the online shop and believe shopping at an online shop is the right decision.

Abstract

This study aims to determine how much influence employee job satisfaction at PGRI Adi Buana University (UNIPA) Surabaya PSDKU Lamongan has. Job satisfaction is an individual's emotional state that can be expressed in feelings of happiness and positive emotions and this comes from an assessment of a job or work experience which can later affect performance performance, either directly or indirectly. This research is descriptive. The population and samples used were employees at UNIPA Surabaya PSDKU Lamongan, from BAAK (Bureau of Academic and Student Administration), and BAUK (Bureau of General Administration and Finance). The results of this study indicate that employee job satisfaction is not only about the salary received but there are several factors that influence it

Abstract

For now, digital media is widely accessed by people from all walks of life and ages. But many of them do not use it properly, for that assistance in the use of digital media, especially for mothers and teachers which is a milestone in learning in families and schools needs to be done so that mothers and teachers have the ability to access digital media so that they can provide assistance to their children and students. The objectives of community service activities carried out by PGRI Adi Buana University Surabaya include: 1) Providing education and also conducting socialization to mothers and teachers about the characteristics of digital media that are widely accessed by children today, 2) Providing knowledge about the impact of use of digital media, 3) Provide encouragement and encouragement to mothers and teachers to provide assistance to children and students in regulating the use of digital media. The method used is socialization, discussion and also mentoring. The targets of this activity are mothers and teachers in Plosowahyu Village, Lamongan District, Lamongan Regency. The program was carried out in October and November 2021. The results of this activity: 1) mothers and teachers increasingly understand the characteristics of digital media, 2) mothers and teachers understand more about the impact of using digital media on the behavior and psychological development of children. children, 3) mothers and teachers are increasingly effective in assisting children and students in regulating the use of digital media.

Abstract

Business Model Canvas (BMC) is a business model that must be mastered by students in entrepreneurship courses as an initial provision to plunge into the world of entrepreneurship. This research will produce an assessment instrument to measure students' conceptual understanding in BMC material which consists of 9 assessment aspects, namely Customer Segment, Value proposition, Customer Relationship, Channel, Revenue Stream, Key Resource, Key activities, Key Partnership, and Cost Structure. The assessment instrument was developed using the ADDIE model (Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation and Evaluations). Content validity was carried out by an expert validator and a value of 93.75% was obtained, which means it is very valid. While the results of statistical analysis obtained a correlation value of more than 0.30. This means that all aspects of the assessment are declared valid. The Cronbach's Alpha reliability value was obtained at 0.886, meaning that the instrument has very strong abilities in research measurement tools, so it can be concluded that the BMC conceptual understanding assessment instrument is valid and feasible to use in business model material for entrepreneurship courses.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the forms of technological influence in the digital era on the character of respect and courtesy of students and character education strategies that are carried out to minimize the negative influence of technology and the obstacles faced by the school. This study uses a qualitative approach, with a descriptive qualitative research type. The data collection techniques used are interviews, observation, and documentation. While data analysis through three techniques, namely data reduction, data presentation, and drawing conclusions. And checking the validity of the data is done by technical triangulation and source triangulation. The results of the study show that the impact of technology on student character includes the impact on students' ways or patterns of communication, the impact on student attitudes and behavior, and the impact on student attitudes in learning. The character education strategy carried out by schools in minimizing the influence of technology on the character of respect and courtesy of students is carried out through self-development programs, integration in subjects, and school culture.

Abstract

Artikel ini membahas tentang program pelatihan guru lintas provinsi yang bertujuan untuk meningkatkan kualitas pembelajaran di Indonesia. Peningkatan kualitas pembelajaran merupakan salah satu faktor kunci dalam mencapai pendidikan yang berkualitas dan berkelanjutan. Program pelatihan guru lintas provinsi dirancang untuk memfasilitasi pertukaran pengetahuan, pengalaman, dan praktik terbaik antara guru dari berbagai provinsi. Melalui program ini, guru-guru dapat belajar satu sama lain tentang strategi pengajaran yang efektif, metode penilaian yang inovatif, dan pendekatan pembelajaran yang menarik. Pelatihan guru lintas provinsi juga memberikan kesempatan bagi guru-guru untuk mengembangkan jaringan profesional yang kuat. Mereka dapat berkolaborasi dengan rekan sejawat dari provinsi lain, berbagi sumber daya, dan membangun hubungan yang saling menguntungkan. Hal ini dapat memperkaya pengalaman profesional mereka dan meningkatkan kompetensi dalam melaksanakan tugas sebagai pendidik. Selain itu, program ini juga memfasilitasi transfer pengetahuan dari pusat ke daerah. Guru-guru yang telah mengikuti pelatihan dapat menjadi agen perubahan di provinsi mereka masing-masing, mengimplementasikan strategi dan inovasi yang telah mereka pelajari dalam pelatihan. Dengan demikian, program ini dapat berkontribusi pada peningkatan kualitas pembelajaran secara luas di seluruh Indonesia. Artikel ini juga membahas tantangan yang mungkin dihadapi dalam implementasi program pelatihan guru lintas provinsi, seperti kendala logistik, biaya, dan koordinasi antarprovinsi. Oleh karena itu, perencanaan dan pengorganisasian yang matang perlu dilakukan untuk memastikan kesuksesan program ini. Dalam kesimpulannya, program pelatihan guru lintas provinsi memiliki potensi yang besar dalam meningkatkan kualitas pembelajaran di Indonesia. Dengan menggali pengetahuan dan pengalaman dari guru-guru terbaik di berbagai provinsi, program ini dapat menjadi sarana yang efektif untuk menghasilkan pendidikan yang lebih baik dan berkualitas di masa depan.

Abstract

Model pembelajaran CoI (Community Of Inquiry) merupakan model pembelajaran yang memberikan ruang kepada mahasiswa untuk terlibat aktif dalam kelompok belajar dalam menyelesaikan masalah guna mencapai tujuan pembelajaran. Penelitian ini untuk mengetahui pengaruh CoI berbantuan media sosial terhadap kemampuan pemecahan masalah serta untuk mengetahui keterlaksanaannya pada mata kuliah kebijakan pendidikan. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah quasi eksperiment dengan rancangan non-equivalent control group design. Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah mahasiswa Universitas PGRI Adi Buana Kampus Lamongan. Sampel penelitian dari prodi pendidikan PKn sebagai kelas eksperimen sebanyak 26 mahasiswa dan prodi pendidikan ekonomi sebagai kelas kontrol sebanyak 28 mahasiswa. Sampel penelitian ini dipilih dengan teknik purposive sampling. Proses pembelajaran di kelas eksperimen mendapatkan perlakuan dengan model pembelajaran CoI berbantuan media sosial dan di kelas kontrol diajarkan dengan model pembelajaran CoI tanpa bantuan. Pengumpulan data menggunakan teknik tes berbentuk soal essai berjumlah sembilan soal untuk mengukur kemampuan pemecahan masalah dan lembar observasi untuk melihat aktivitas dan keterlaksanaan pembelajaran. Dari penelitian ini didapatkan uji hipotesis dengan menggunakan uji-t pada taraf signifikan (α) = 0,05, dan diperoleh nilai 3,585 pada equal variaces not assumed memiliki sig. 0,001 lebih kecil dari 0,05, maka Ho ditolak dan Ha diterima. Dengan demikian dapat disimpulkan bahwa ada pengaruh yang signifikan antara model pembelajaran CoI berbantuan media sosial terhadap pemecahan masalah pada mata kuliah kebijakan pendidikan.
