Abstract

The aim of this study was to develop an instructional design for the subject of Civic Education based on current issues in the field of national resilience, tailored to the characteristics of students at SMKN 2 Lamongan. This study utilized the ADDIE model (Analyze, Design, Development, Implementation, and Evaluation). The outcome of this development is the lesson planning for PKn, focusing on one of the basic competencies. From this study, it can be concluded that lesson plans oriented around current issues, aligned with student characteristics, can serve as a foundation for teachers to design innovative lessons, fostering active student participation.

Abstract

Adolescence is the most turbulent period in humans, so there are many changes in children's behavior at this time; instilling good moral values in students is needed to live life both at school, at home, and in society. This article aims to provide a new perspective in developing learning strategies in schools to help improve and improve morals in students, using the Gerlack & Ely learning model in the hope of assisting students in understanding the moral values contained in Pancasila and being able to practice in everyday life. With this learning model, students will be invited to work together to solve problems in learning so that the learning atmosphere will not be boring. Generally, learning in schools often uses a one-way communication system, namely, the teacher explains, and students only listen; this will feel boring and lazy. Applying the Gerlack & Ely learning model can increase student activeness in the learning process so that the material taught can be more easily understood. It will later be practiced in everyday life.

Abstract

This article discusses how the use of the Project Based Learning (PjBL) model can improve students' literacy skills. PjBL is one of the innovative learning models, where learning is more student-centered, using projects as learning media. The purpose of this research is to analyze the effectiveness of the PjBL learning model in improving students' literacy skills. Literacy includes the knowledge and skills needed by learners to access, understand, analyze, and evaluate information, create meaning express thoughts and emotions, and generate ideas and opinions. One aspect of literacy skills is reading literacy. Therefore, efforts are needed to improve students' reading literacy skills, one of which is by using the PjBL learning model. In this PjBL model, students are invited to discuss with groups about the theme of the Diversity of Indonesian Communities in Unity in Diversity with problems encountered in everyday life.

Abstract

Learning design is essential in improving the quality of learning and students' learning experience. However, many universities (especially in Information Technology) have not developed a structured learning design, so the learning process becomes ineffective. The PBL approach is used because it encourages students to actively solve real problems relevant to the learning material, which will develop problem-solving skills, critical thinking, collaboration, and creativity. This approach is supported by constructivism and social cognitive theories, which emphasize the active role of students in constructing their knowledge through interaction with learning content and social interaction. The results of the limited trial showed a significant increase in post-test scores compared to the pre-test, supporting the concept that active learning, as implemented in the PBL module, can improve student understanding. Developing and testing this module reflects a systematic and sustainable approach to designing effective instruction, potentially enhancing the quality of education in Indonesia.

Abstract

The aim of this research is to determine the influence of the Tapak Suci pencak silat extracurricular on improving the disciplinary character of students at SD Muhammadiyah Sugio Lamongan. This research uses a field research design with a quantitative type of research with a total sample of grades 4 and 5, totaling 65 students. Based on the research results, it can be concluded as follows: 1. Tapak Suci pencak silat extracurricular activities run regularly according to the specified schedule. 2. During the Tapak Suci pencak silat extracurricular process, all students looked very enthusiastic because they not only learned martial arts but also learned to control themselves so that indirectly the students' character and level of discipline increased. 3. Tapak Suci pencak silat extracurricular has had a significant positive impact on students' level of discipline.4. By regularly practicing Extracurricular Pencak Silat Tapak Suci, you can help students develop habits of hard work, responsibility and perseverance as well as good manners in achieving personal progress for students.

Abstract

This study investigates the effectiveness of learning management strategies utilizing Wordwall, an interactive digital learning platform, in enhancing the collaboration skills of fifth-grade students in Madrasah Ibtidaiyah. A quantitative research design was applied with a total population of 45 students (29 male, 16 female). Data were collected through a Likert-scale questionnaire and analyzed using SPSS 26.0, including validity and reliability tests, the coefficient of determination (R²), and a t-test for significance. The findings revealed a significant positive effect of Wordwall-based learning management on students’ collaboration skills (R² = 0.608; p < 0.05). The t-test results indicated that the use of Wordwall significantly improved collaboration skills, confirming the acceptance of the alternative hypothesis. Wordwall’s integration into classroom learning fosters active participation, teamwork, and mutual respect among students. The findings support the adoption of digital learning management strategies to improve 21st-century collaboration competencies in Islamic elementary schools.

Abstract

Tujuan dari penelitian ini untuk mengetahui pengembangan dan pengaruh buku cerita berbasis QR Code terhadap efektivitas dan kualitas pembelajaran pada materi gotong royong. Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah seluruh siswa kelas V SD Negeri 1 Kramat. Sampel yang diambil dengan teknik sampling jenuh, yaitu seluruh siswa kelas V A sebagai kelas eksperimen dan kelas V B sebagai kelas kontrol. Dengan model pengembangan ADDIE merupakan model desain pembelajaran yang berlandaskan pada pendekatan sistem yang efektif. Instrumen yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah angket, tes, observasi, dan dokumentasi. Analisis instrumen menggunakan uji validitas dan reliabilitas. Uji prasyarat menggunakan uji normalitas dan homogenitas sementara pengujian hipotesis dengan uji independent sample t-test menggunakan SPSS 26. Hasil uji menunjukkan uji beda rata-rata dengan uji-t diperoleh sig-2 tailed sebesar 0,000 dengan taraf signifikansi 5%. Nilai sig < 0,05 sehingga dapat disimpulkan bahwa efektivitas dan kualitas pembelajaran siswa lebih baik menggunakan buku cerita berbasis QR Code dibandingkan dengan pembelajaran konvensional.

Abstract

Di era globalisasi dan digitalisasi saat ini, keterampilan berbicara di depan umum tidak hanya diperlukan oleh para profesional di bidang komunikasi, tetapi juga oleh semua individu yang ingin meningkatkan karier dan personal branding mereka. Public speaking tidak hanya mencakup kemampuan berbicara dengan baik di depan banyak orang, tetapi juga mencakup keterampilan mendengarkan, mempengaruhi, dan membujuk audiens. itu tujuan pelaksanaan pengabdian ini untuk mengasah keterampilan berbicara di depan umum dapat membantu seseorang menjadi komunikator yang lebih baik, baik dalam hubungan personal maupun sosial. Kemampuan ini juga dapat meningkatkan rasa percaya diri dan harga diri seseorang, karena mereka merasa lebih mampu menyampaikan pikiran dan perasaan mereka dengan jelas dan efektif. Kegiatan PKM ini dilakukan di SMA Karya Sahari, Kab. Bulukumba pada tanggal 4 dan 5 Maret 2024. Kegiatan pelatihan dilakukan dua kali dengan pertimbangan berbagai keterbatasan, termasuk keterbatasan para pelaksana, mitra, dan objek sasaran program, agar semua dapat berjalan lancar tanpa gangguan. Penggunaan kuesioner sebagai instrumen penilaian kuantitatif juga dilakukan untuk mendapatkan indikator numerik dalam kegiatan ini.Hasil Penelitian menunjukkan pelatihan public speaking di SMA Karya Sahari pada 4-5 Maret 2024 sangat efektif. Data menunjukkan peningkatan signifikan dalam pemahaman dan keterampilan public speaking peserta, termasuk kepercayaan diri, penyusunan presentasi, dan pengelolaan kecemasan. Pelatihan ini bermanfaat dalam pengembangan soft skill dan mempersiapkan generasi muda menghadapi tantangan dunia nyata.

Abstract

Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk memberikan pandangan yang lebih mendalam tentang potensi Canva dalam meningkatkan keterampilan desain grafis siswa SMK dan mengeksplorasi kemungkinan integrasi Canva ke dalam kurikulum pembelajaran.Metode penelitian yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah Participatory Action Research (PAR). PAR merupakan pendekatan penelitian kolaboratif yang melibatkan partisipasi aktif dari para subjek penelitian, dalam hal ini siswa kelas 12 SMK PGRI 2 Lahat. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa penggunaan Canva sebagai media pembelajaran desain logo merek bagi siswa SMK efektif dan menarik. Integrasi Canva dalam kurikulum meningkatkan keterampilan desain kreatif dan teknis siswa. Respons siswa terhadap penggunaan Canva positif, dengan antarmuka yang ramah pengguna dan kemampuan untuk membuat konten visual yang terlihat profesional. Penelitian ini menggarisbawahi potensi Canva dalam meningkatkan keterampilan desain grafis dan merekomendasikan integrasinya dalam kurikulum pembelajaran.Berdasarkan hasil penelitian ini, dapat disimpulkan bahwa penggunaan Canva sebagai media pembelajaran desain logo merek memiliki potensi besar dalam meningkatkan keterampilan siswa SMK. Oleh karena itu, disarankan agar Canva diintegrasikan secara lebih luas dalam kurikulum pembelajaran di SMK. Selain itu, perlu dilakukan pelatihan dan pendampingan bagi pendidik untuk memaksimalkan penggunaan Canva dan memfasilitasi pembelajaran yang interaktif dan kreatif.

Abstract

Fokus utama penelitian ini adalah menciptakan media pembelajaran berbasis Virtual Field Trip dalam topik Keragaman Budaya Indonesia mata pelajaran PPKn kelas IV MI Falahiyah Kedungkendo. Penelitian ini menerapkan metode Research and Development (R&D) dengan pendekatan model ADDIE. Penelitian ini melibatkan ahli materi, ahli media, serta siswa kelas IV sebagai subjek. Instrumen pengumpulan data berupa angket validasi, observasi, wawancara, dan tes hasil belajar. Hasil validasi ahli menunjukkan media termasuk kategori sangat layak. Uji efektivitas dengan pretest dan posttest memperlihatkan kemajuan hasil belajar secara signifikan. Media ini juga mampu meningkatkan partisipasi siswa serta memudahkan pemahaman konsep budaya melalui tampilan visual yang menarik dan interaktif. Penelitian lain oleh Fitralova dkk. (2024) mendukung temuan ini, dengan hasil bahwa media video animasi keragaman budaya sangat valid (89%), praktis (92,65%), dan efektif (92,857%) dalam meningkatkan hasil belajar siswa.
