Abstract

This study aims to: determine the application of learning using traditional literature in Melati Kindergarten; the social-emotional abilities of group B children using traditional literature learning in Melati Kindergarten; The type of research used in this research is qualitative research. The analysis model used is an interactive model. In collecting data, using observation, interviews, and documentation. Data validity tests in this study include credibility and dependability tests. The results of the study stated that traditional literature learning was implemented in the Melati Kindergarten using legends, animal stories, and fairy tales carried out in the initial activities. Legend stories, animal stories, and fairy tales read by teachers can give pleasure to children, develop imagination, the characters in stories can teach children how to behave in social life, and these stories contain values that can develop aspects of child development. At the end of the learning activities an assessment of children's abilities is carried out, the application of traditional literature with the learning steps that have been carried out can bring out and improve children's social-emotional abilities.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of media images on the initial reading ability of group A children at Pembina State Kindergarten, Waikase sub-district in 2022. This study used a quantitative experimental Pre-experimental Design method with a one group pretest-posttest design. The sample in this study were group A children a total of 23 people consisting of 9 boys and 14 girls. Sampling in this study using nonprobability sampling with purposive sampling technique. Analysis techniques include normality test, hypothesis testing and statistical hypothesis. The results of the normality test obtained a significance value of 0.071 pretest and 0.122 posttest more than (>) 0.05 meaning that the data is normally distributed. The results showed that there was a significant effect of the use of media images on the initial reading ability of group A children. It can be seen from the significance value of initial reading ability of 0.000, less than 0.05 (0.000 <0.05) with a t-count value of 18.40 > t table 1.717 which means that the null hypothesis (Ho) is rejected and the alternative hypothesis (Ha) is accepted there is a significant effect of the use of media images on children's early reading ability

Abstract

Planning Thickness of Road Flexible Pavement Using the Aashto 93' Method. From the background that has been stated, it is necessary to formulate a problem that can be drawn is How to plan pavement thickness by paying attention to pavement design factors AASHTO 1993 method. The purpose of this study was to plan the thickness of flexible pavement using the AASHTO 1993 method on the Education Road, Raha III Village, Katobu District, Muna Regency. Based on the results of the analysis, it can be concluded that in planning the thickness of flexible pavement using the AASHTO 1993 method, several parameters are needed, such as average daily traffic, design age, traffic development, lane and direction distribution factors and standard deviation. From the results of calculations using the AASHTO 1993 method with parameter values that have been obtained from the research results, the thickness of each pavement layer is obtained as follows: 1). Surface Layer (Lasbutag) = 4 cm. 2). Foundation layer (class A crushed stone) = 10 cm. 3). Lower Foundation Layer (Sitru/pitrun class A) = 6 cm.
