Abstract

This study aims to determine the impact of informal cooperative learning think pair share tehnique assisted by Schoology aplication on student achievement. This study uses reseach instruments, and data analysis isquantitative/statistical.this reseach is a quasi experimental study, the design model used is control group pre test post test design, reseach data was processed using covariance analysis (ANCOVA), the population of this study is student of SMA N 1 Sape Bima NTB, the reseach sample was taaken by random sampling, the sample used was Grade XI student. From this study, it was found that the implementation of informal coopperative learning think pair share tehnique assisted by Schoology had a significant effect to student achievement.Keywords: Schoology, Informal Cooperative learning, Think pair share, achivement.

Abstract

Due to the spread and increasing number of positive cases due to the COVID-19 virus in Indonesia Especially Sape, Bima NTB, the Ministry of Education and Culture (Kemendikbud) recommends ways to reduce the spread of the virus by conducting online learning, this study explores the effect of cooperative learning on student learning outcomes in terms of interst in learning. The cooperative learning model used is Think Write Pair Share (TWPS) assisted by a learning management system (LMS) to lear during pandemic. The LMS used is Schoology. This research is an experimental study using a pre-test post-test control group design model. The research subjects consisted of two groups, namely the experimental group and the control group. All groups were given a pre-test (an instrument to measure learning outcomes) and a learning interest questionnaire using the ARCS model (attention, relevance, self-confidence) with thirty-four questions, the experimental group was given treatment in the form of teaching using Schoology-assisted cooperative learning TWPS. The control group was given conventional learning, after treatment, all groups were given a posttest and a learning interest questionnaire. The last stage is a data processing and data analysis using ANCOVA, the result is that Schoology assisted TPS cooperative learning can improve student learning outcomes with a significance level of 0.005.

Abstract

Peningkatan jumlah kasus positif di indonesia akibat covid 19 membuat Kementerian Pendidikan dan Kebudayaa (Kemendikbud) merekomendasikan cara untuk menurunkan penyebaran virus dengan melakukan pembelajaran secara online, dimana aktivitas pembelajaran yang biasanya dilakukan secara tatap muka dilakukan dengan pembelajaran jarak jauh. Pendidik percaya bahwa pembelajaran online memiliki banyak kesempatan dalam memberikan pembelajaran yang kondusif, dan lingkungan yang relevan dengan karakteristik peserta didik, penelitian ini mengeksplorasi pengaruh pembelajaran kooperatif terhadap hasil belajar peserta didik ditinjau dari minat belajar. Model pembelajaran kooperatif yang digunakan adalah Think Write Pair Share (TWPS) yang diintegrasikan ke dalam Learning management system (LMS) yang berupa aplikasi Schoology untuk mengukur minat siswa dalam belajar Fisika, penelitian ini merupakan penelitian eksperimen dengan menggunakan model desain pre-test post-test control group design. Subjek penelitian terdiri dari dua kelompok yaitu kelompok eksperimen dan kelompok kontrol. Semua kelompok diberikan pre-test (instrumen untuk mengukur hasil belajar) dan angket minat belajar menggunakan model ARCS (attention, relevance, confidence, and satisfaction). semua kelompok diberikan posttest dan angket minat belajar. Tahap terakhir adalah pengolahan data dan analisis data menggunakan ANCOVA, hasilnya pembelajaran kooperatif TPS berbantuan Schoology dapat meningkatkan minat belajar siswa dengan taraf signifikansi 0,005.

Abstract

Adanya perkembangan teknologi informasi secara tidak langsung mempengaruhi proses pembelajaran dengan menggunakan proses pembelajaran berbasis TIK, oleh karenanya penggunaan internet dalam pembelajaran sangat penting. Penggunaan internet dalam kegiatan pembelajaran dikenal dengan istilah blended learning dengan memadukan pertemuan tatap muka dan pertemuan secara daring. Salah satu media pembelajaran yang menerapkan metode pembelajaran blended learning adalah Schoology. Schoology adalah suatu Learning management system (LMS) yang menggabungkan fitur social media sehingga dapat berinteraksi sosial sambil belajar, peneliti percaya bahwa dengan memadukan pembelajaran kooperatif dengan menggunakan LMS maka akan membantu proses pembelajaran, pembelajaran kooperatif yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah Think Write pair Share, penelitian ini merupakan penelitian eksperimen dengan menggunakan model desain pre-test post-test control group design. Subjek penelitian terdiri dari dua kelompok yaitu kelompok eksperimen dan kelompok kontrol. Semua kelompok diberikan pre-test dan postest (instrumen untuk mengukur kemampuan berpikir kritis), Tahap terakhir adalah pengolahan data dan analisis data menggunakan ANCOVA, berdasarkan hasil analisis data pembelajaran kooperatif TWPS berbantuan Utaaps LMS Schoology dapat meningkatkan kemampuan berpikir kritis peserta didik dengan taraf signifikansi 0,005.

Abstract

Early reading skills development in lower grades requires substantial teacher support. At this stage, students begin to recognize letters and syllables, making effective teaching crucial for mastering reading skills. This research addresses the challenge of low early reading skills among first-grade students at State Elementary School (SDN) 47 Kodo Kota Bima, as identified through previous assessments. The study aims to evaluate the effectiveness of Alphabet Card media in improving these early reading skills. Using a classroom action research (CAR) approach, the research employs the Kemmis and McTaggart model, with the researcher conducting the teaching and the teacher and colleagues observing. Subjects are first-grade students at SDN 47 Kodo Kota Bima, with a focus on their early reading skills. Data collection methods include observation, interviews, and tests, analyzed descriptively and presented in tables and graphs. Results show a notable improvement in early reading skills. In the first cycle, the average percentage of improvement was 66.7% (good category), which increased to 73.5% (good category) in the second cycle. These findings suggest that Alphabet Card media effectively enhances early reading skills in students. The study concludes that Alphabet Card media is a beneficial tool for improving early reading skills and can positively impact learning outcomes for first-grade students.

Abstract

Pendidik percaya bahwa pengetahuan awal dapat memudahkan siswa mempelajari materi selanjutnya, dan dapat menjadi tolak ukur hasil belajar, penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui hasil belajar fisika siswa kelas unggulan berdasarkan pengetahuan awal dan hasil belajar menggunakan kuis terstruktur. pengaruh pengetahuan awal terhadap hasil belajar dihitung menggunakan SPSS sehingga diperoleh sumbangan relatif pengetahuan awal terhadap hasil belajar adalah 34,62 %, dengan sumbangan efektif 51%   sehingga disimpulkan bahwa tinggi rendahnya pengetahuan awal dapat mempengaruhi hasil belajar.

Abstract

Educator believe that prior knowledge can facilitate students in comprehending subsequent materials and serve as an indicator of learning outcomes. This study aims to explore the learning outcomes of advanced class physics students based on their prior knowledge, using structured quizzes as a measuring tool. The influence of prior knowledge on learning outcomes was quantified using SPSS, revealing a relative contribution of 34.62% to learning outcomes, with an effective contribution of 51%. Consequently, it can be concluded that the level of prior knowledge significantly affects learning outcomes.

Abstract

This research was conducted to address the low conceptual understanding of fifth grade students in IPAS subject at SDN 67 Rabantala, Kota Bima. The purpose of the study was to determine the effect of contextual teaching and learning (CTL) approach in the Merdeka Curriculum on students’ conceptual understanding. The method used was a quasi-experimental research with a one group pretest-posttest design. The research subjects were 23 fifth grade students selected through saturated sampling. The research instrument consisted of a multiple-choice test with 15 items that had been tested for validity and reliability, and an observation sheet for the implementation of CTL. Data were collected through pretest and posttest, then analyzed using descriptive statistics, normality test, and paired sample t-test with the help of SPSS 24. The results showed an increase in the average score from 58.26 in the pretest to 83.04 in the posttest. The number of students achieving the Minimum Mastery Criteria (KKM) increased from 30% to 91%. The results of the paired sample t-test obtained a significance value of 0.000 < 0.05, which means that there was a significant difference in students’ conceptual understanding before and after the application of CTL. Thus, CTL is proven to be effective in improving students’ conceptual understanding in IPAS learning.

Abstract

This study aims to develop environmental education-based comic media as an alternative to learning Indonesian for grade III students of SDN 24 Rabangodu Utara, Bima City. The background of this study is based on the low literacy skills of students and the minimal use of interesting and contextual learning media. Comics were chosen because they are able to present material visually and narratively, so that they can increase students' interest in reading, understanding of texts, and environmental awareness. Through the development of this media, it is hoped that the learning process will be more enjoyable, effective, and support the improvement of literacy and environmental care characters from an early age. The methodology used is research and development (Research and Development) by adopting the ADDIE model as a framework. The subjects of this study were 16 grade III students of SDN 24 Rabangodu Utara, Bima City, with variables of environmental education-based comic media and literacy skills and research instruments used in the form of questionnaires, interviews, documentation, and pretest posttest tests. The results of the media feasibility test showed a very feasible percentage (85%), while the practicality test from teachers and students was very good (90% and 92%). The effectiveness analysis showed N-Gain .83 (quite effective category). It was concluded that the environmental education-based comic media that was developed was quite effective in increasing the literacy skills of class III students at SDN 24 Rabangodu Utara, Bima City.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of the traditional game of gobak sodor on students' interest in learning arts and culture. This study is a type of quantitative research using the pretest-posttest method. The instrument in this study uses a questionnaire on students' learning interests. The data analysis technique used in this study is descriptive quantitative. Based on the results of the analysis, the pretest data, getting an average percentage increase from pre-test to post-test is around 49.80% overall there is an increase in students' learning interest almost half higher than before the treatment, showing good criteria. Meanwhile, from the posttest results, getting a percentage shows good criteria and can be used. Based on this analysis, it can be concluded that the effect of the gobak sodor game on students' interest in participating in art learning can be used and applied as an influence on learning interest in learning arts and culture in grade III students of SDN 39 Rabadompu, Bima City.
