Abstract

As digital transformation accelerates across industries, cybersecurity faces escalating challenges due to increasingly sophisticated cyber threats. This study explores the integration of artificial intelligence (AI) algorithms and big data analytics to enhance cybersecurity systems, focusing on addressing data integration and interpretability issues. Employing a descriptive-qualitative methodology, the research analyzes literature, case studies, and secondary data to evaluate the effectiveness of AI and big data in detecting and mitigating cyber threats. Key findings reveal that deep learning algorithms, such as artificial neural networks, achieved an accuracy of 93% in anomaly detection, outperforming traditional rule-based approaches by 18%. Additionally, big data platforms like Spark demonstrated superior efficiency, processing 500 GB of data in 35 seconds compared to Hadoop’s 60 seconds. However, the study identifies challenges related to the interpretability of AI models and the complexity of integrating diverse datasets, which impede real-time threat detection. Periodic updates to AI training datasets were found to improve detection accuracy by up to 15%, emphasizing the importance of adaptive learning models. This research contributes to the field by proposing strategies to enhance system resilience, including adopting Explainable AI (XAI) for transparency and advanced data integration techniques. The findings underscore the potential of AI and big data to revolutionize cybersecurity, offering organizations a proactive approach to combating evolving cyber threats. Future studies should focus on sector-specific implementations and optimizing response mechanisms for comprehensive security frameworks.

Abstract

Dalam tahun tahun terakhir ini teknologi informasi dan komunikasi (TIK) telah memasuki seluruh elemen kehidupan, yang menyebabkan perubahan pada pola kehidupan sosial dan ekonomi, dan juga pada bidang pendidikan. TIK telah meresap memasuki kehidupan sehari-hari, dan penggunaannya menjadi persyaratan mendasar dalam proses pendidikan yang bermutu. Pendidikan yang bermutu sendiri akan terjamin oleh guru-guru yang berkompeten di bidangnya . IN HOUSE TRAINING (IHT) dalam rangka PENINGKATAN KOMPETENSI GURU pada lembaga SDIP H.M Subandi Kab. Semarang ditujukan dalam usaha peningkatan kinerja dan performa para guru di SDIP H.M Subandi Wilayah Kab. Semarang. Kegiatan ini didasarkan dari hasil observasi yang menunjukkan masih minimnya pengetahuan di bidang Teknologi Informasi yang dimiliki Kepala Sekolah setempat beserta Guru tentang teknologi informasi, khususnya terkait kesulitan dalam pembuatan soal-soal secara Online atau CBT. peserta pelatihan merasa terpuaskan dengan adanya Program In House Training (IHT) Peningkatan Kompetensi Guru Dalam Pemanfaatan IT ini karena melalui program ini mereka telah dapat mempraktekkan dalam pelatihan dan telah menguasai pengaplikasian ilmu yang diperoleh dalam materi pelajaran dalam upaya meningkatkan skill dan performa guru dalam menggunakan Teknologi Informasi.

Abstract

The advancement of artificial intelligence (AI) has opened new opportunities in education, particularly at the primary level. This article presents the outcomes of an AI training program for early childhood education (PAUD) teachers in Semarang Regency, aimed at enhancing their understanding and skills in integrating technology into teaching and administration. The study employed observations, interviews, post-tests, and focus group discussions. Findings reveal significant improvement in teachers’ abilities to use tools like ChatGPT and Canva, alongside increased confidence in adopting technology. However, infrastructure limitations and lack of post-training support remain key challenges. The study highlights the need for continuous and adaptive training to ensure successful AI integration in education.

Abstract

This study aims to develop a web-based information system as a company profile for the hospitality industry, specifically for Hotel Griya Wijaya Ambarawa. The development method used is Research and Development (R&D), involving an iterative process to enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of the website. The results of this study indicate that the designed website not only improves hotel promotion but also expands market reach through interactive features such as an online reservation system and social media integration. The website is also designed to provide an optimal user experience with a responsive design, ultimately increasing reservations and customer satisfaction.

Abstract

Effective drug inventory management is essential for hospital pharmacy management to prevent stock shortages and waste due to expiration. Bina Kasih Hospital faces obstacles such as manual recording and reporting difficulties. This study designs a web-based drug inventory information system with waterfall methodology, using PHP, MySQL, and Bootstrap interface. This system allows real-time data access, stock tracking, automatic notification, and data integration. Testing using black-box and user acceptance testing showed increased operational efficiency, with a reduction in recording errors of up to 80% and an acceleration of reporting of up to 50%. This system supports auditing, reporting, and data integration. This solution is expected to optimize Bina Kasih Hospital's pharmacy management, with the potential for further development for integration with electronic medical record modules and procurement systems.

Abstract

This study explores the development and implementation of an Augmented Reality (AR)-based learning medium to enhance students’ understanding of tajwid at Madrasah Aliyah. The background of this research stems from the limited effectiveness of conventional teaching methods and the relatively low interest of students in learning tajwid. AR-based learning was chosen because it provides a more interactive and contextualized learning experience that actively engages learners. The research employed a Research and Development (R&D) approach using the ADDIE model, which consists of analysis, design, development, implementation, and evaluation stages. The participants were Madrasah Aliyah students selected as the experimental group. The findings reveal that the AR learning medium significantly improves students’ comprehension of tajwid rules compared to traditional learning approaches. Moreover, students reported high levels of satisfaction, noting that the media was engaging, user-friendly, and capable of visualizing abstract tajwid rules in a clear and accessible manner. In conclusion, integrating AR technology into Islamic education, particularly tajwid learning, holds great potential to improve learning quality while fostering students’ motivation to explore the subject more deeply.

Abstract

The utilization of technology has influenced many aspects of life, and one of the fields affected is education. Basic education must adapt to the evolving era influenced by technology. The implementation of a workshop on the utilization of AI as a learning tool is based on observations and interviews with the headmaster of SD IT Bina Insani Semarang. This workshop introduces AI technology to the teachers of SD IT Bina Insani, along with its advantages and disadvantages. During the workshop, participants not only receive theoretical material but also engage in practical exercises in utilizing AI, guided by the team from PPM Universitas STEKOM Semarang. The evaluation of participants' understanding of the material on the use of AI is conducted directly during the practical sessions, considering the participants' active involvement throughout the workshop.

Abstract

Penelitian dan pengembangan ini bertujuan untuk merancang serta membangun sistem informasi rekrutmen karyawan berbasis web yang mampu meningkatkan efektivitas dan efisiensi proses perekrutan di PT Laksana Bus Manufaktur. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan campuran (mixed method) dengan menggabungkan metode deskriptif kualitatif dan kuantitatif. Data dikumpulkan melalui observasi lapangan, wawancara mendalam, dan penyebaran kuesioner kepada pelamar kerja serta pihak Human Resource Department (HRD). Proses pengembangan sistem mengikuti model Waterfall, yang terdiri dari beberapa tahapan, yaitu analisis kebutuhan, perancangan sistem, implementasi, pengujian fungsional, dan pemeliharaan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa sistem yang dikembangkan mampu mempercepat proses rekrutmen, menurunkan biaya operasional, serta meningkatkan ketepatan dalam seleksi calon karyawan. Berdasarkan temuan tersebut, dapat disimpulkan bahwa sistem informasi ini efektif digunakan sebagai langkah awal digitalisasi proses rekrutmen, serta memiliki potensi untuk dikembangkan lebih lanjut ke dalam versi berbasis mobile di masa yang akan datang.

Abstract

Digitalization in business has started to penetrate various sectors, particularly in assisting with the preparation of financial statements to improve financial performance. However, small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs), as business entities in society, have not fully embraced digitalization. The main challenge is the lack of integration between SMEs' financial systems and technology, which impacts their financial performance. The current system cannot automatically record financial transactions, often lacks accuracy, contains errors, and is inefficient in recording and generating reports. To enhance the financial performance of SMEs by leveraging technology, a new information system has been designed to accelerate the preparation of automated financial statements, with a high level of accuracy in transaction recording. Three variabels were observed and tested, including automation, accuracy, and time efficiency. The system development followed the System Development Life Cycle (SDLC) methodology, while testing was conducted by analyzing questionnaire data. The test results revealed a strong relationship between the variabels. The information system significantly contributes to financial performance, accounting for 95%, and has a significant impact on financial performance. These findings indicate that the implementation of an accounting information system for financial management is highly feasible. Additionally, the system can serve as an effective technological solution to help improve the financial performance of SMEs.
