Abstract

Langsa baro district is one of the only district in langsa city. Langsa baro's equity has 12 (twelve) villages in the midst of rapid growth in sertai with population growth that is influential in increasing number of vehicles. This is because langsa baro district has such public places as schools, hospitals and offices that cause daily traffic flow. Rapid population growth and the ownership of motor vehicles result in parking land limitations and increased demand for parking lots. The assessment aims to find out the formation of a parking spot in langsa baro district that was then visualized through the gis map and to identify the parking characteristics of the rahmah mosque in tunong paya village as the densest parking site in langsa baro district. The method employed in the study was to survey the location coordinates for parking and to calculate the number of characteristics of the parking space. Studies show that 137 park-drop levels are in langsa baro district, with 60 special parking spots and 76 public parking spots. And characteristic analysis of the parking space at the maximum intensity of the parking lot at the rahmah village of bujok in the ong ong boong decline by langsa baro temple with a maximum accumulated value of 82 motorcycles and 16 cars, the parking lot of 198 and 25 volumes for car parking, the parking index for 95% and the index for car parking of 280%, the parking capacity for 1651 SRP for cars.

Abstract

Along with the increasing population growth in Langsa City, there is also a growing need to carry out various activities. Most residents of Langsa City choose to travel using private vehicles, which makes the need for parking spaces an important part of the transportation system. The distribution of parking spaces in Langsa City will be more effective and efficient if information related to their location is presented graphically. Geographic Information System (GIS) is a technology that can be used to process information related to distribution. This study aims to identify the distribution of parking spaces in Langsa City in accordance with the Guidelines for Planning and Operating Parking Facilities and present it on a distribution map. In addition, it also analyzes the parking characteristics of the Mangrove Forest Tourist Attraction. The research method was a direct survey at the research location to obtain the coordinates of the parking spaces and the number of vehicles parked in the tourist attraction parking spaces. The results of the study showed that there were 86 parking spaces in West Langsa District, 78 of which were identified as formal parking spaces and 8 parking spaces on the roadside which were identified as informal parking spaces. Mapping was carried out using a Geographic Information System (GIS) with ArcMap 10.8 software, which will present a map of the distribution of parking spaces in West Langsa District. The parking characteristics of the Mangrove Forest Tourist Attraction indicate that the parking index value (PI < 100%) means that the parking space capacity is not a problem and is still sufficient to accommodate the volume of vehicles, and there is no need for additional new parking spaces.

Abstract

Kuala Geulumpang village is one of the villages in Julok subdistrict where most of the community is a business group that processes fish into cracker or known as pakang fish. One of the problems experienced by the business group is the drying process, especially in the rainy season which result decrease in the color quality and taste of pakang fish products. This service program aims to provide a solution for drying media that is not depend by weather conditions, namely a home dried system using an integrated solar panel media based on solar energy through solar cell and current batteries storage. This method has advantages compared with conventional methods are that are not affected by the weather, faster the drying process, minimizes fish damage caused by decaying so that the quality of the product is maintained and can be accepted by consumers on time. Through the application of fish dryer technology is expected to increase the production and quality of pakang fish produced by the community of Kuala Geulumpang Village so that it can improve the community's economy.
