Abstract

PT Semen Indonesia (PERSERO) Tbk is a cement producing company in Tuban, so problems often occur in theproduction system including damage to the finish mill machine components. The machine components that are oftendamaged are Grinding tables, Tires, Reducer separators, Rockerarms, Bucket Chains, Seals, Shafts. The finish millmachine is the last area in the cement production process. The result of the final grinding in the form of cement isstored in cement storage silos. If maintenance is carried out on a scheduled basis, damage and production failurescan be minimized. The purpose of this industrial practical work is to schedule maintenance for finish mill machinesusing the FMEA method. The data collection method used was direct observation and interviews with theresponsible department in the finish mill machine area. From the results of industrial practical work carried out, itis known that machine maintenance is carried out with an overhaul system every few years. It is recommended toschedule maintenance for finish mill machines such as cleaning, replacement, lubrication so that components do notoften fail and damage during the production process.

Abstract

This study analyzes Occupational Health and Safety (K3) in the construction of the Banyuran Tanjung Jati Gate Units 5 and 6 at PT. Supraco Indonesia, utilizing the Hazard Identification Risk Assessment and Risk Control (HIRARC) method. HIRARC is a systematic process used to identify hazards, assess risks, and control them to prevent accidents. The research identifies 16 processes, categorizing potential hazards such as material spillage, high-speed driving, and unsafe working conditions like slippery surfaces. Risk assessments show that most identified risks are low, with a few posing moderate risks, such as minor injuries and dehydration. Risk controls implemented include proper safety signage, the use of personal protective equipment (PPE), and ensuring worker competency. These measures aim to minimize workplace accidents and enhance safety for all involved in the construction project.

Abstract

Potential hazards that can cause work accidents can come from various work activities carried out in work operations and can also come from outside the scope of work. Therefore, the implementation of an occupational safety and health program is in the form of implementing an OHS management system, including through identification of hazards and recommendations for effective control measures, so as to create a safe, healthy and prosperous work environment. PT. Pertamina asset 4 Sukowati Field is an energy company, which is engaged in the oil and gas industry, including exploration and production, which is located in Bojonegoro, East Java province. In the oil and gas production process, there are many potential hazards in various work activities. Within a company, there are potential hazards in the operation and repair of equipment. Some of these hazards are high pressure, high temperature, falling objects, automatic systems that can cause pinching, mechanical, high electrical voltage, noise from loud engine sounds, chemicals, exposure to toxic H2S gas. The purpose of this research is to know the occupational health and safety control system, to know the process of B3 waste treatment, and to know how to maintain fire fighting equipment. The data collection method used is participation where the author is directly involved in internship activities regarding occupational health and safety control programs, field observations where researchers monitor or direct observations in the field, in order to know firsthand about safety at work, and interviews by asking direct questions. to the staff of the department on the science of occupational safety and health in the workplace. the results of the research conducted, it was found that in order to maintain the safety and health of its employees, the company provides work safety facilities, all workers must care and be aware of work safety, in order to maintain health in the form of free treatment, sports facilities and adequate food and nutrition allowances. So the risk of work accidents will be smaller. Actions to manage waste or B3 materials used in the production operation process will be handled in accordance with the Material Safety Data Sheet (MSDS). The processing of B3 waste begins with temporary storage in a special storage room that has a permit from the KLHK/DLH/Governor/Regent to be sent to a B3 waste collection/processing company that has a permit from the KLHK, or also known as a third party. Periodic maintenance is required according to standard maintenance procedures.

Abstract

Background: Bengawan Solo merupakan sungai sepanjang ±300 km di pulau Jawa yang dimanfaatkan sebagai sumber daya air untuk kebutuhan domestik masyarakat. Namun, pencemaran akibat limbah rumah tangga, termasuk kaca, mengancam kelestarian ekosistem sungai. Limbah kaca yang tidak terurai dapat merusak ekosistem dan membahayakan masyarakat. Penelitian ini bertujuan memberikan solusi inovatif dengan memanfaatkan limbah kaca sebagai bahan filler paving block untuk mencegah pencemaran tersebut. Metode: Mitra dalam kegiatan adalah PKK (Pemberdayaan Kesejahteraan Keluarga) Desa Kalirejo yang lokasinya terletak di bantaran DAS (Daerah Aliran Sungai) Bengawan Solo dengan jumlah anggota 120 ibu rumah tangga. Pelaksanaan kegiatan dilaksanakan pada 4 September 2024 dengan metode pendampingan langsung di lokasi mitra, yang meliputi tahapan wawancara, observasi, pelatihan, pendampingan, dan evaluasi. Hasil: Dari kegiatan ini, diperoleh hasil bahwa terjadi peningkatan kesadaran mitra untuk mengurangi pembuangan limbah kaca serta pentingnya pengelolaan limbah kaca secara aman di lingkungan DAS Bengawan Solo, dari 60% menjadi 98%. Dengan adanya fasilitas penampungan limbah kaca rumah tangga serta mesin penghancur limbah kaca, maka keinginan mitra dalam mendaur ulang limbah kaca menjadi paving block meningkat secara signifikan dari 25% menjadi 95%. Kesimpulan: masyarakat termasuk mitra PKK cenderung kurang menyadari pentingnya pengelolaan limbah kaca. Hal ini disebabkan kurangnya pengetahuan mengenai bahaya limbah kaca bagi lingkungan, serta kesulitan dalam menampung dan mengelola limbah kaca secara bijak.

Abstract

Offline product marketing has not been able to reach a wide range of target customers amidst the intensive use of the internet and social media by people in Indonesia. The competitiveness of business product sellers to acquire customers is increasingly competitive, especially during and after Covid-19, with various strategies using supporting technology such as social media and e-commerce. Eka Jaya Tekstil, as a company that operates in textile business products, has also adapted by expanding product marketing not only offline, but also through website-based product digitization. In developing a digital marketing system for textile business products, a User Centered Design approach is used where the system is developed by emphasizing user needs starting from identifying user needs, determining the context of use, determining requirements, creating solution designs, and evaluating the design against user needs. The website-based product digital marketing system that has been developed has succeeded in presenting Eka Jaya Tekstil's profile as a company that produces textile business products, production house galleries, offers superior products, and orders products. The system that has been developed involving 30 respondents using Likert scale by comparing the results of the initial and final evaluations, an increase in the average System Usability Scale (SUS) score by 6.34 points was observed. There was an improvement in the acceptable range from marginal high to acceptable, a shift in the grade scale from D to C, and the adjective rating remained Good. This indicates the success of the redesign using the UCD method in meeting user needs.

Abstract

Krisis energi global menjadikan konsumsi energi sebagai isu penting, khususnya di sektor industri. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis dan mengurangi dampak lingkungan dari penggunaan energi pada unit thresher di Koperasi Kareb Bojonegoro melalui penerapan Life Cycle Energy Analysis (LCEA). Metode penelitian dilakukan dalam tiga tahap yaitu penentuan tujuan dan ruang lingkup, analisis inventori, serta penilaian dampak lingkungan (LCIA) menggunakan perangkat lunak SimaPro. Data yang dikumpulkan meliputi konsumsi energi listrik selama proses produksi dan dampak lingkungannya. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa dampak lingkungan tertinggi berasal dari kategori respiratory inorganics, climate change, dan carcinogens dengan total skor dampak sebesar 3,33 Pt. Sumber utama dampak berasal dari penggunaan listrik yang sebagian besar bersumber dari pembangkit berbahan bakar fosil. Rekomendasi perbaikan yang diajukan adalah penggantian lampu penerangan konvensional dengan lampu hemat energi jenis LED di area unit thresher. Penggunaan lampu LED dapat mengurangi konsumsi energi tanpa mengurangi kualitas pencahayaan. Penerapan LCEA terbukti efektif dalam mengidentifikasi dan menangani dampak lingkungan yang ditimbulkan oleh konsumsi energi di lingkungan industri

Abstract

This research aims to analyze the efficiency of a microcontroller-based automatic fish feeder prototype to support the optimization of aquaculture. The device utilizes an Arduino microcontroller, an LCD for the interface, and a mechanical motor for automatic feed dispensation twice daily, with volumes adjusted according to the fish's age. The experimental method was conducted in a fish farming pond, comparing automatic and manual feeding over 90 days for 100 fish. Results showed that the automatic system reduced average daily feed usage from 200 grams (manual) to 180 grams, and feed efficiency increased from 75% (manual) to 85% (automatic). Average fish weight gain with the automatic system reached 85 grams, 15 grams higher than the manual method (70 grams). The Feed Conversion Ratio (FCR) for the automatic system was 1.91, which is better than the manual FCR of 2.57. Ultimately, the automatic feeding system proved to be more efficient in feed usage and supported better fish growth. Keywords: Automatic Feeder, Efficiency, Aquaculture.

Abstract

The garment industry in Indonesia has experienced significant development in recent years. A critical aspect of this development is the increasing role of Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs). Swari Garment Industries (SGI) is an example of an MSME that focuses on the garment sector. In practice, various problems and negligence can affect the course of the production process. One potential issue is using the machine inappropriately or excessively, which can lead to a short electrical circuit. Short electrical circuits are one of the problems that must be faced because they can cause various severe impacts, including equipment damage and even fire. Based on this risk analysis, a possible solution to be applied to SGI, one of the MSMEs in the garment sector, is the implementation of an intelligent control device. The implementation of intelligent control tools based on the Internet of Things (IoT) can enhance the efficiency of the production process and mitigate significant risks to workers and the environment. The Fuzzy Inference System, in which the equity, temperature, and humidity are the input values of the Intelligent Control Device. A hardware device for temperature and humidity control, accessible through an Android phone application, was implemented in SGI. Experiments have verified that we can achieve excellent results. The average percentage of temperature measurement error was 0.2% and for humidity, 0.26%. The average percentage of measurement error from the comparison between the system and MATLAB is 0.49%.

Abstract

PT. Kharisma Sejahtera adalah salah satu perusahaan yang menjual mobil hasil produksi Daihatsu dan dikenal sebagai dealer favorit dan terpercaya, khususnya di daerah Bojonegoro yang melayani calon pembelidan dan service. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah menganalisis dan meningkatkan kualitas layanan untuk memuaskan calon pembeli dengan integrasi metode Servqual, Kano, dan Quality Function Deployment. Hasil penelitian Servqual menunjukkan bahwa kualitas layanan yang diberikan belum mampu memenuhi harapan mahasiswa, karena semua atribut memiliki nilai Gap negatif. Untuk hasil penelitian Kano diperoleh 4 atribut Must-be, 14 atribut One-dimensional, 1 atribut Attractive, dan 1 atribut Indifferent. Sedangkan dari hasil penelitian Quality Function Deployment diperoleh 12 Technical Requirements yang perlu diprioritaskan dalam meningkatan kualitas layanan, dengan 5 kontribusi tertinggi Technical Requirements adalah membuat SOP dalam menanggapi keluhan calon pembeli dan pelanggan 18.77%, memberikan pelatihan dan training secara berkala pada semua karyawan dan staff 17.06%, melakukan evaluasi kinerja karyawan dan staff secara rutin 15.46%, membuat sistem informasi untuk membantu memberikan informasi secara umum 10.58%, dan melakuan check up produk secara berkala 10.43%.
