Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui profil reduksi miskonsepsi siswa sebagai pengaruh diterapkannya model pembelajaran ECIRR berbantuan media audiovisual. Tes pendahuluan menunjukkan masih tingginya tingkat miskonsepsi siswa mencapai 58,7%. Upaya mereduksi miskonsepsi siswa adalah memberikan konflik kognitif pada siswa sehingga siswa sadar akan konsep yang salah pada dirinya dan membuat siswa berkeinginan untuk mengubah konsep tersebut. Tahapan tersebut ada dalam model pembelajaran ECIRR (Elicit-Confront-Identify-Resolve-Reinforce). Identifikasi miskonsepsi menggunakan instrumen tes miskonsepsi tipe three-tier menunjukkan bahwa model pembelajaran ECIRR berbantuan media audiovisual pada materi dinamika rotasi dapat mereduksi miskonsepsi siswa hingga 42,1%. Profil reduksi miskonsepsi tertinggi ada pada sub materi teorema sumbu parallel yaitu sebesar 87,0% dan profil reduksi miskonsepsi terendah ada pada sub materi torsi yaitu sebesar 0,0%   Kata Kunci: Miskonsepsi, Dinamika Rotasi, ECIRR, Three-tier. Abstract The purpose of this study is to know student’s misconceptions reduction profile on chapter rotational dynamic through the application of ECIRR learning model aided audiovisual media. Preliminary test had been given on chapter rotational dynamics showed the high level of student’s misconceptions, that is 58.7%. One of efforts to reduce student’s misconceptions by giving cognitive conflict in students, so that students aware that there are misconceptions in his self and the students wish to change the concept. This is one of phase in ECIRR (Elicit-Confront-Identify-Resolve-Reinforce) learning model. Identification of student’s misconception used three tier diagnostic test instrument and the result show that the ECIRR learning model aided audiovisual media on the chapter rotational dynamics is very successfully with measurable student activity was also very good. This learning model also can reduce up to 42.1% of student’s misconceptions. Highest student’s misconceptions reduction profile in chapter parallel axis theorem is 87.0% and lowest student’s misconceptions reduction profile in chapter torque is 0.0%.   Keywords: Misconceptions, Rotation Dynamics, ECIRR, Three-tier.

Abstract

Abstract: This research aimed to identify student activated resource for solving some problems about equilibrium and center of mass point. The method used in the form of descriptive qualitative with the number of samples 64 students 11th SMA Negeri 2 Bangkalan. The data were collected using a double choice questioned instrument. Resource students are obtained through constant comparative analysis. The results showed that students generally activate resource that is p-prim rather than a scientific resource. Scientific resource resumes that are not adapted to the context of the problem will make a wrong prediction answer. Abstrak: Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengidentifikasi resource yang diaktifkan siswa dalam menyelesaikan permasalahan terkait materi kesetimbangan dan titik pusat massa. Metode yang digunakan berupa deskriptif kualitatif dengan jumlah sampel sebanyak 64 siswa kelas XI SMA Negeri 2 Bangkalan. Data dikumpulkan dengan menggunakan instrumen soal berbentuk pilihan ganda beralasan. Resource siswa diperoleh melalui analisis constant comparative. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa siswa umumnya mengaktivasi resource yang bersifat p-prime daripada resource yang sifatnya scientific. Resource scientific yang diaktivasi tidak sesuai konteks permasalahan akan menghasilkan prediksi jawaban yang salah oleh siswa.

Abstract

Kesulitan dalam menguasai konsep Biologi sering kali dikaitkan dengan banyaknya materi yang harusdipahami sehingga pada akhirnya dalam mempelajarinya lebih menekankan pada teknik menghafal.Pelajar umumnya memiliki berbagai gaya belajar yang berbeda saat mempelajari konsep tertentu.Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui apakah terdapat hubungan antara gaya belajar denganpengetahuan awal mengenai konsep Biologi dasar. Gaya belajar diukur menggunakan angket VARKsedangkan pengetahuan awal diukur dengan menggunakan soal Biologi dasar dengan tipe pilihan ganda.Analisis data dilakukan dengan menggunakan Korelasi Spearman. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwasemua dimensi gaya belajar tidak memiliki hubungan yang signifikan dengan pengetahuan awal Biologi (p> 0,05). Terdapat hubungan signifikan antar dimensi gaya belajar Auditori dan Read/Write sertahubungan sedang antara Auditori dan Kinestetik. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa pembelajaransebaiknya tidak hanya didasarkan pada gaya belajar individu, tetapi juga mempertimbangkan faktor lainseperti motivasi dan metode pengajaran.

Abstract

This development research aims to produce an ethnoscience-based booklet on jenang ayas snacks and to determine the validity, readability, student responses and improvement of science literacy towards ethnoscience-based booklets. This type of Research n Development (RnD) research, using the ADDIE model. Sampling using a side purposive teahnique. The population in this study were all students of class VIII of SMP 31 Gresik with a sample of class VIII-C. The instrument used were validation sheets media, material experts, readability questionnaires, responses, and science literacy questions. The result of the study showed that the ethnoscience-based booklet on jenang ayas snacks that was developed was included in the very valid category for use, seen from the results of media expert validation of 94,03%, material expert validation of 96,53%, readability questionnaire of 88,92%, student response questionnaire of 88,45%, and an increase in science literacy on N-Gain of 0,69. These result indicate that ethnoscience-based booklets on jenang ayas snacks is effective in improving student’s science literasy.

Abstract

This study was conducted because the critical thinking skills of students in education were relatively low because students were still unable to follow the learning pattern of critical thinking skills. The purpose of this study was to determine the increase in students’ critical thinking skills after the application of the PBL model assisted by PhET media on vibration and wave material. This study used a quasi-experimental design methodand was carried out at the UPTD SMPN 4 Bangkalan. The study population was all students of class VIII in the 2024/2025 Academic Year. Sampling used a purposive sampling technique. The sample used was class VIII-A. The analysis technique for increasing students’ critical thinking skills used the N-gain test. The results showed that there was an increase in students’ critical thinking skills after the application of the PBL model assisted by PhET media with an average N-gain result of 0,62 in the moderate category.
