Abstract

This research aims to determine the effect of the Numbered Head Together (NHT) learning model with gamification on students' communication skills. The research method used is quasi-experimental with a non-equivalent control group design, conducted at SMPN 24 Gresik in the academic year 2022/2023. Data collection techniques were done through tests and documentation with a population of seventh-grade students and a sample consisting of Class VII A as the control group and Class VII D as the experimental group using Random Sampling. Hypothesis testing was conducted using the non-parametric Mann-Whitney U test. The research results showed that: 1) in the communication skills test, a significance value of 0.001 less than 0.005 was obtained, indicating the rejection of H0, 2) the improvement in the experimental class was measured with an N-Gain of 0.78, categorized as high

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui validitasakan produk, keterbacaan, respons peserta didik, dan retensi peserta didik terhadap media e-module berbantuan cover song dengan model pembelajaran artikulasi pada materi sistem pernapasan. Penelitian ini dilaksanakan di MTsN Bangkalan pada bulan Maret 2024. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian Research and Development (RD) dengan model pengembangan ADDIE (Analyze, Design, Development, Implementation and Evaluation). Adapun populasi penelitian ini adalah peserta didik kelas VIII dengan sampel terdiri dari kelas VIIIA sebagai kelas eksperimen dan VIIIB sebagai kelas kontrol. Teknik sampling yang digunakan adalah pusposive sampling. Instrumen yang digunakan untuk mengukur retensi peserta didik berupa tes pilihan ganda. Hasil validasi media memperoleh skor 1 dengan kategori sangat valid. Hasil retensi kelas eksperimen sebesar 94,25% dengan kategori sangat baik dan kelas kontrol sebesar 81,09% dengan kategori sangat baik. Berdasarkan hasil tersebut menunjukkan adanya pengaruh media e-module berbantuan cover song dengan model pembelajaran artikulasi terhadap retensi peserta didik pada materi sistem pernapasan.

Abstract

Tujuan penelitian ini untuk mengembangkan media pembelajaran berbasis android pada materi klasifikasi makhluk hidup dengan melihat kelayakan produk, respons dan keterbacaan siswa. Pengembangan media menggunakan model ADDIE. Pengembangan media ini menggunakan aplikasi Smart Apps Creator. Subjek penelitian ini 25 siswa kelas VII A UPTD SMP Negeri 3 Bangkalan. Instrumen penelitian yang digunakan yaitu lembar validasi  media, materi, angket respons, dan keterbacaan siswa. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa: 1) media pembelajaran berbasis android materi klasifikasi makhluk hidup memperoleh validasi media sebesar 1,0 dengan kategori sangat tinggi dan validasi ahli materi sebesar 1,0 dengan kategori sangat tinggi, 2) respons siswa terhadap media pembelajaran berbasis android materi klasifikasi makhluk hidup sebesar 79,92% dengan kategori baik, 3) keterbacaan siswa terhadap media pembelajaran berbasis android materi klasifikasi makhluk hidup mendapatkan rata-rata sebesar 79,38% dengan kategori sangat baik. Hal tersebut menunjukkan bahwa media pembelajaran berbasis android pada materi klasifikasi makhluk hidup memperoleh respons yang baik dan layak digunakan dalam pembelajaran.

Abstract

Penelitian pengembangan produk green economy dalam bidang pendidikan untuk mendukung SDGs ini dilakukan dengan tujuan untuk mengetahui kelayakan produk dan respons siswa terhadap produk. Penelitian ini menggunakan jenis penelitian RnD (penelitian dan pengembangan). Produk dikembangkan menggunkan model pengembangan ADDIE (Analize, Design, Development, Implementation, Evaluate). Teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan observasi dan angket. Penerapan dilakukan disekolah SMPN 2 Pamekasan. Hasil penelitian diperoleh bahwa kelayakan media sebesar 88% kategori sangat valid. Kelayakan materi sebesar 86% kategori sangat valid. Angket respons siswa sebesar 89,2% kategori sangat baik. Dengan demikian dapat disimpulkan jika produk green economy dalam bidang pendidikan untuk mendukung SDGs ini layak digunakan sebagai media pembelajaran.

Abstract

This study aims to determine improvement of students' critical thinking skills after the application of the AR media assisted discovery learning model to the solar system material for class VII SMP. The research method used in this study is a quasi-experimental research design. The sample selection technique in this study was to use a purposive sampling technique which was carried out at SMP Negeri 1 Kamal in 2022/2023. Analysis of students' critical thinking skills improvement used the N-Gain Score test. The improvement of students' critical thinking skills based on the N-Gain Score test in the experimental class was in the medium category, while in the control class it was in the low category. The conclusion of this study was that application of the discovery learning model assisted by AR media on solar system can make students active in learning and increase students’ critical thinking skills.

Abstract

This research aimed at differences in students' critical thinking skills before and after implementation of the Brain Based Learning model assisted by Brain Gym. The method used in this study is an experimental method with a Pre-Experimental One Group Pretest-Posttest Design. The sample in this study ware students class VIII SMP Muhammadiyah 05 Bungah amounted to 18 students of the third semester og 2022/2023. Hypothesis analysis technique was paired sample t-test. Data-up technique trough used critical thinking skills test. The average value of the pretest value is 44,62 while the average value of the posttest value is 77,28.  Based on the result hypothesis testing obtained a significance value of 0.000 less than 0.05 then H0 is rejected and H1 is accepted, meaning there was differences in critical thinking skills before and after implementation of the Brain Based Learning model assisted by Brain Gym. Then the average N-Gain result of 0.6 in the medium category.

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to determine the improvement of students' critical thinking skills towards Problem Based Learning learning with a bulletin-assisted Socio-Scientific Issue approach. Sampling using Purposive Sampling technique, namely class at VII A students as many as 20 students as experimental class and VII C as many as 18 students as control class which was carried out at MTs. Masyhudiyah, Gresik. The research method used is quasi experimental design in the form of nonequivalent control group design. The data analysis technique using the Mann Whitney test is 0.002 less than 0.05 which means there is a difference in students' critical thinking skills between the experimental class and the control class. Increasing students' critical thinking skills was carried out using the N-Gain test, which was 0.68 in the experimental class and 0.41 in the control class, which means that students' critical thinking skills using Problem Based Learning with a bulletin-assisted Socio-Scientific Issue approach in the experimental class were better than conventional learning in the control class.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk melakukan pengembangan LKPD berbantuan mind map pada materi pencemaran lingkungan. LKPD berbantuan mind map  yang terdapat materi dan kegiatan-kegiatan yang melibatkan lingkungan dalam belajar. Selain itu untuk mengetahui kelayakan media, kelayakan materi, kelayakan keterbacaan, dan kelayakan respon peserta didik. Jenis penelitian yang digunakan adalah penelitian pengembangan dengan desain 4-D (Define, Design, Development, dan Dessiminate). Penelitian ini dilakukan di SMP Negeri 3 Kamal di Kabupaten Bangkalan pada sesemter genap 2022/2023. Sampel penelitian yang digunakan 17 peserta didik. Sampel diambil dati teknik random sampling. Data yang dianalisis terkait validitas media, validitas materi, keterbacaan peserta didik, dan respon peserta didik. Hasil validasi media sebesar 83,33% dengan kriteria cukup valid. Hasil validasi materi sebesar 90,83% dengan kriteria sangat valid. Hasil persentase keterbacaan peserta didik sebesar 88,89% dengan kriteria sangat valid, dan hasil persentase respon peserta didik sebesar 77,78% dengan kriteria cukup valid. Berdasarkan analisis yang telah dilakukan diketahui bahwa LKPD berbantuan mind map dapat digunakan dalam pembelajaran materi pencemaran lingkungan.

Abstract

The function of this research was to analyze the influence model Project Based Learning on study Environmental Education about creativity for students. Method used for this research constitutes the quasi of experiment method. Population and sample for this research are the students at a university in Bangkalan as many as two classes selection to be experiment class (apply the learning model of Project Based Learning on study Environmental Education) and control class (apply the learning model of Problem Based Learning on study Environmental Education). The instrument that used for this research is the test creative thinking skill, peer assessment, and assessment questionnaire of product creativity. The result showed that the average score of creative thinking skills test is 88% (very good category) with the gain score 61.58 (average score). Achievement of process creativity indicator (peer assessment) is 85%, while the achievement indicator of product creativity is 86%. Finally, the researcher conclude that the model Project Based Learning in science can use to increase creativity for students.

Abstract

Miniature Puzzle 3 Dimensions (MP3D) is one form of learning media presentation that has been systematically assembled in the form of a miniature collaborated with puzzles so that learning on solar system material grade VII can be conveyed properly and clearly. The purpose of this study was to produce MP3D media and determine the level of feasibility and student response to MP3D media. This type of research is development research using the ADDIE development model. The population in this study were seventh grade students of SMPN 3 Kamal with samples of VII-B and VII-D classes. Sampling using purposive sampling technique. The instruments used were media expert validation sheets, science teachers and student response questionnaires. The results showed that: 1) The results of the validity of the media aspect amounted to 94.37% and the reliability value of 97.38% with a very valid and very reliable category. 2) Student responses to MP3D media in 3 trial groups, obtained a percentage value of 88.55% in individual trials of 2 students, 88.81% in small group trials of 8 students and 91.27% in large group trials of 32 students, the three trials had a very good category. We concluded that the using of MP3D media is feasible to use in learning.
