Abstract

Tingginya tingkat pengangguran terbuka di Indonesia yang sebagian besar berasal dari lulusan Sekolah Menengah Kejuruan (SMK) memperlihatkan perbedaan antara kemampuan yang dimiliki lulusan dan apa yang dibutuhkan oleh pasar kerja. Kondisi ini menyoroti betapa pentingnya memiliki tidak hanya kemampuan teknis, tetapi juga mental dan pengalaman praktis untuk meningkatkan peluang kerja lulusan SMK. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis pengaruh kompetensi siswa dan Praktik Kerja Lapangan (PKL) terhadap kesiapan kerja, dengan internal locus of control sebagai variabel mediasi. Penelitian menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif. Populasi terdiri atas siswa kelas XII yang telah lulus pada tahun ajaran 2024/2025, dan sebanyak 152 responden dipilih menggunakan proportional stratified random sampling. Data diperoleh dengan menggunakan kuesioner tertutup yang mengikuti skala Likert dan dianalisis dengan teknik Partial Least Square–Structural Equation Modeling (PLS-SEM) menggunakan perangkat lunak SmartPLS 4. Temuan penelitian menunjukkan bahwa kompetensi siswa memiliki pengaruh yang signifikan terhadap locus of control internal (p = 0,001) dan PKL juga berpengaruh terhadap locus of control internal (p = 0,000). Selain itu, locus of control internal berpengaruh positif terhadap kesiapan kerja (p = 0,001), sedangkan PKL berpengaruh positif terhadap kesiapan kerja secara langsung (p = 0,002). Selanjutnya, ditemukan bahwa internal locus of control secara signifikan memediasi pengaruh kompetensi siswa terhadap kesiapan kerja (p = 0,003) dan memediasi pengaruh PKL terhadap kesiapan kerja (p = 0,032). Penelitian ini menekankan bahwa untuk meningkatkan kesiapan kerja para siswa SMK, tidak hanya dibutuhkan penguasaan keterampilan teknis, tetapi juga penguatan keyakinan kendali diri (internal locus of control) dan pengalaman praktis melalui PKL. Integrasi ketiga aspek tersebut menjadi faktor kunci dalam mempersiapkan lulusan SMK agar lebih adaptif dan kompetitif di dunia kerja.

Abstract

This research was motivated by preliminary findings among Mie Gacoan consumers in Surabaya, which revealed that flexible operational hours, visual promotional content, and cashback programs have significant potential to influence purchasing decisions through the Shopeefood application. The purpose of this study is to analyze the influence of operational strategy, Content Marketing, and cashback programs both partially and simultaneously on consumer purchasing decisions. This study employed a causal associative quantitative approach with an explanatory design and used purposive sampling involving 97 respondents who had made at least two purchases in the last three months. The results of multiple linear regression analysis showed that operational strategy had the most dominant influence (β = 0.589), followed by cashback programs (β = 0.281) and Content Marketing (β = 0.202), all of which had a positive and significant effect on purchasing decisions. Simultaneously, these three variables explained 52.1% of the variation in consumer purchase decisions (R² = 0.521). These findings emphasize the importance of integrating digital marketing strategies through operational services, visual promotions, and financial incentives in influencing consumer behavior in the digital food and beverage industry.

Abstract

This research was conducted to analyze the effect of e-service quality, live streaming shopping, and flash sales on purchasing decisions for fashion products on the Shopee Platform. This research was conducted in Surabaya with a population of people who live in Surabaya and by the research boundaries set by the researcher, namely respondents at least 17 years old, Shopee users, and have purchased fashion products at least three times and have seen and purchased fashion products on Shopee live and Shopee flash sales. This research's primary data was obtained by distributing questionnaires to a research sample of 150 respondents. The quantitative method used in this study is the PLS-SEM (Partial Least Square- Structural Equation Modeling) data analysis technique. Based on the results of data analysis, it is found that e-service quality, live streaming shopping, and flash sales have a positive and significant effect on purchasing decisions for fashion products on the Shopee platform.
