Abstract

Penelitian ini memiliki pokok permasalahan mengidentifikasi kemampuan pemahaman konsep siswa dengan menggunakan Certainty of Response Index. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah, pertama untuk mengetahui kemampuan pemahaman konsep fisika yang dialami oleh siswa pada pokok bahasan teori kinetik gas dengan menggunakan CRI di kelas XI SMAN 12 Makassar. Metodologi penelitian ini adalah deskriptif kuantitatif, penelitian yang menggambarkan fenomena- fenomena yang ada , jenis analisis dokumen yaitu untuk menghimpun dan menganalisis dokumen – dokumen resmi, yang valid dan keabsahannya. Teknik analisis data yang digunakan adalah teknik CRI. Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah seluruh kelas XI SMA Negeri 12 Makassar dengan teknik pengambilan sampel simple random sampling. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa (1) Pemahaman konsep siswa terhadap materi teori kinetik gas pada siswa kle as XI SMA Negeri 12 Makassar masih dalam kategori rendah , hal ini ditunjukkan dari hasil persentase pemahaman konsep siswa sebesar 32,59%. Analisis selanjutnya didapatkan bahwa tidak paham konsep sebesar 25,02% dan miskonsepsi sebesar 41,92%.(2) Pemahaman konsep siswa tiap indikator pemahaman konsep translasi, interpretasi dan ekstrapolasi dalam kategori rendah dan sangat rendah. Pada kategori sedang yaitu indikator translasi dan interpretasi dengan persentase sebesar 38,85% dan 36,22% sedangkan pada kategori sangat rendah yaitu indikator ekstrapolasi dengan persentase sebesar 16,94%.

Abstract

This research is a research and development which aims: (1) To develop and determine the validity level of the Science practicum module Earth and Space based on the generic science abilities of fifth semester students of the physics education study program. The development of the Earth and Space Science practicum module is carried out using the ADDIE development model. The stages in this study are limited only to the Development stage. Data collection techniques were obtained from 2 validators who were lecturers in the Physics Education Study Program, Alauddin State Islamic University Makassar. The data analysis technique used in the study only uses validity analysis. The results showed that: the Earth and Space Science practicum module based on generic science abilities that was developed met the valid criteria with an average value for all aspects of V = 0.86. Overall the value is categorized as "Very Valid" (˃0.8), so that the earth and space science practicum module based on generic science capabilities is declared to meet the validity criteria and is suitable for use.

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to determine a) the learning interest of students taught by the TGT Learning Model Assisted by Playing Cards Media b) the learning interest of students taught by the TGT Learning Model Not Assisted by Playing Cards Media c) the difference in Learning Interest of Students taught using the TGT Learning Model Assisted and Not Assisted by Playing Cards Media in class XI on Wave Material at SMAS Al-Bahra Jeneponto. This type of research is Quasi Experimental Design with The Matching Only Post-Test Control Group Design. Design involving the independent variable is the TGT learning model. The population in this study were students of class XI SMAS Al-Bahra Jeneponto who studied science subjects consisting of two classes and totaling 44 students. While the sample was class XI MIPA 1 as the control class and XI MIPA 2 as the Experiment class. The results of descriptive research show that the average value of learning outcomes of students taught using the TGT model without playing cards media is 47.78 and those taught with the TGT learning model assisted by Playing Cards media is 71.95. The results of the Hypothesis testing on students' learning interests showed that there were differences in the learning interests of students taught using the TGT learning model assisted by Playing Cards media.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui minat dan hasil belajar peserta didik kelas X SMAS Al Bahra Jeneponto yang diajar dan tidak diajar menggunakan model Problem Based Learning (PBL) berbantuan permainan harta karun, serta mengukur pengaruh penerapan model tersebut. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode quasi eksperimen dengan desain post-test only control group. Sampel terdiri atas kelas X A1 sebagai kelas eksperimen dan X A2 sebagai kelas kontrol. Hasil analisis deskriptif menunjukkan bahwa rata-rata hasil belajar kelas eksperimen sebesar 73 dan kelas kontrol sebesar 41,75, sedangkan rata-rata minat belajar masing-masing sebesar 65,2 dan 58,3. Uji Mann-Whitney menunjukkan adanya perbedaan yang signifikan antara kedua kelas, baik pada minat belajar (Asymp. Sig. = 0,001) maupun hasil belajar (Asymp. Sig. = 0,000). Hasil ini menunjukkan bahwa penerapan model PBL berbantuan permainan harta karun efektif meningkatkan minat dan hasil belajar peserta didik. Implikasi dari penelitian ini antara lain pentingnya integrasi elemen permainan dalam pembelajaran, dukungan terhadap pengembangan teori pembelajaran berbasis permainan, serta perlunya pelatihan bagi guru dalam menerapkan model pembelajaran inovatif di berbagai mata pelajaran.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to describe students' ability to represent multiple aspects in answering physics problems and to identify the factors that inhibit and support this ability. This study used a mixed-method approach with an explanatory design. The study was conducted in the Department of Physics Education. The research subjects were selected purposively. The average multirepresentation ability of Physics Education students in solving physics problems was in the low category. Supporting factors included students always completing assigned tasks, seeking help from friends and family when encountering complex issues, and having complete notes and physics e-books. Meanwhile, the inhibiting factors include students rarely practicing solving problems outside class hours, confusion in determining formulas, difficulty with calculations, and a tendency to give up easily when solving problems.

Abstract

Permasalahan dalam penelitian ini adalah rendahnya konsistensi belajar mahasiswa yang diduga berkaitan dengan kemampuan pengendalian diri (self control). Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan tingkat self control dan motivasi belajar serta menguji pengaruh self control terhadap motivasi belajar mahasiswa Jurusan Pendidikan Fisika UIN Alauddin Makassar. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif dengan desain korelasional. Sampel penelitian berjumlah 50 mahasiswa yang dipilih melalui teknik proportional random sampling. Pengumpulan data dilakukan menggunakan angket self control dan angket motivasi belajar yang telah diuji validitasnya. Analisis data menggunakan regresi linear sederhana. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa tingkat self control mahasiswa berada pada kategori sedang dengan persentase sebesar 50%, sedangkan motivasi belajar berada pada kategori sedang dengan persentase sebesar 66%. Selain itu, terdapat pengaruh positif dan signifikan antara self control terhadap motivasi belajar dengan nilai signifikansi < 0,05 dan kontribusi sebesar 48,4%. Temuan ini menunjukkan bahwa semakin baik self control mahasiswa, maka semakin tinggi motivasi belajarnya, sehingga self control menjadi salah satu faktor internal yang berperan penting dalam meningkatkan motivasi belajar mahasiswa.

Abstract

This research was motivated by teachers' use of conventional teaching methods, which left students unable to re-explain or independently summarize the material presented to them. To address this and strengthen students' conceptual understanding, an environment-based learning model was implemented. This study aims to describe and examine the change in eleventh-grade students' physics learning outcomes before and after the model was applied. The research employed a pre-experimental design, with 32 eleventh-grade science (XI MIPA 1) students serving as the research subjects. Learning outcomes were measured using a 32-item multiple-choice test instrument. The collected data were then processed through descriptive analysis to calculate the mean, standard deviation, and variance, followed by an N-Gain test to determine the learning model's effectiveness in improving students' learning outcomes. The findings show that students' average score, which was initially 50.62 before treatment, rose to 66.56 after the intervention. However, the N-Gain test fell into the moderate category, with an effectiveness level of 42%, indicating a less-than-optimal improvement. Based on these findings, it can be concluded that although students' learning outcomes improved following the implementation of environment-based learning, its level of effectiveness remains relatively low, as the average score achieved did not reach 70. Nevertheless, this model remains a viable option for teaching physics, given the measurable improvement observed in the learning outcomes of eleventh-grade science students at SMA Negeri 3 Enrekang. These findings are expected to serve as a reference for teachers seeking to improve the learning outcomes of eleventh-grade science students at the school.
