Abstract

Traditional institutions as a medium in the process of holding a ceremony, including the traditional Lodo Huer ceremony. In Kajowair Village, hewokloang sub-district, there are traditional institutions that play a role in this process of traditional rituals as referred to as the Lodo Huer custom called Rawin. Traditional institutions (Rawin) have a very important role in the traditional ritual of lodo huer, namely before the traditional ritual ceremony begins, the traditional institution performs a ceremonial ceremony as the opening for the lodo huer ceremony. The traditional institution (moan rawin) as the leader before and after the traditional ceremony take place. The process of the traditional lodo huer ritual in Kajowair Village, Hewokloang sub-district cannot be separated from the role of traditional institutions. Indigenous institutions have a very important position in this regard which relates to common interests in the process of sustaining the traditional ritual of lodo huer, in order to achieve common goals and the welfare of indigenous peoples. Traditional institutions represent indigenous peoples in managing and regulating the implementation of the traditional lodo huer ritual process in Kajowair Village which is believed to be a tradition that is passed down from generation to generation. "Traditional institutions have a very important role in providing opportunities for young people during the process of the Lodo Huer traditional ceremony, starting from the beginning of the activity starting until the end of the Lodo Huer traditional ceremony. This means that during the process of the traditional Lodo Huer ceremony, it is very dependent on traditional institutions. “In the traditional Lodo Huer ceremony there are 7 (seven) main events that must be carried out, namely the first one is poto pare, the second is tokang nuhun, the third is wake l'oe, the fourth is pero urun papa blatan, the following are 'ea gete, nara krus and the last the last one is pa'at krus” “Efforts are being made to preserve the traditional lodo huer ceremony by giving lessons to young people to learn more about what is done during the process of the traditional lodo huer ceremony so that it remains preserved and carried out as a tradition that has never been lost and extinct

Abstract

Law No. 20 of 2003 concerning the National Education System that education is a conscious and planned effort to create a learning atmosphere and learning process so that students actively develop their potential to have religious spiritual strength, self-control, personality, intelligence, noble character, and skills needed by himself, the community, the nation and the State. Therefore, the role of parents in motivating the learning of class IIA SMPN2 Waigete children during the Covid 19 pandemic is very important for the realization of intelligence and morals in students because parents are a source of hope for children's success in the learning process during the Covid-19 pandemic, causing the learning process from home, different when compared to conventional learning. This study uses a qualitative approach. and descriptive research results obtained in the field that parents carry out two roles at once in order to motivate students during the learning process from home. The first is to be a friend and the second is to be a teacher/educator at home. Even though parents had difficulties in the learning process during the Covid-19 pandemic at SMPN 2 Waigete, the education provided by parents affected the level of ease and difficulty for parents in educating their children; parents' economic level affects the online learning process, especially in terms of facilitating children's online learning to buy data/internet credit, poor network, difficulty dividing time between children and work; The number of family members also influences parents in providing guidance to children in studying at home

Abstract

The role of parents is one of the roles not only as the head of the family, earning a living but the function of parents is also to educate, by instilling moral values, and parents exemplify positive behavior to adolescents. Good citizens must have good citizenship in the formation of positive young people's behavior, starting from the family implementing the religious guidance of parents in dealing with the moral crisis of adolescents. "The factors causing the moral crisis of youth in Wairbleler Village include family, economic, social environment and peer factors. So, with the moral crisis experienced by adolescents, the role of parents is needed. "Because the role of parents is the first and main guide in the family who are always closely related to teenagers, so they have a very big influence on teenagers. The life of today's youth is far from being touched by religion; this is also one of the factors in the occurrence of a teenage moral crisis. Therefore, the role of parents is very necessary in overcoming various crises, one of which is a moral crisis that occurs due to weak parental supervision. So, the role of parents is very important in guiding children, caring for children, and protecting children. The role of parents, especially in the Wairbeler village community, is to instill moral values, provide religious values, provide education and control oversight
