Abstract

Adolescents are individuals in a period of growth and development that is synonymous with finding and building identity towards maturity. Adolescent behavior is very easily influenced by the surrounding environment. The current digital era makes the flow of communication, information, and individual freedom unlimited. Islamic education is needed to shape the behavior and character of adolescents who have akhlakul karimah and healthy soul. The purpose of this study is to analyze the transformation of character education and adolescent values towards mental health in the digital era through Islamic education. This research method is qualitative with a library research approach. Data sources come from literature reviews from research journals, books and other scientific articles according to the theme. Data is collected through literature study and analyzed by analyzing Islamic education in the process of transforming character and value education for adolescents in the digital era towards a healthy soul. The main focus of the research is to describe the transformation of character and value education in mentally healthy adolescents in the digital era through Islamic education. The accuracy of the results of this research analysis was carried out by triangulating the data analysis results involving experts according to expertise. The results of this research analysis show that Islamic education based on the Qur'an, Sunnah/Hadith, and Ijtihad is very appropriate for transforming value and character education which is also in line with mentally healthy values, especially for adolescents in the digital era.

Abstract

Penyakit Ginjal Kronik Tahap Terminal (End Stage Renal Disease atau ESDR) merupakan masalah kesehatan masyarakat di seluruh dunia termasuk Indonesia. Prevalensi gagal ginjal kronis di Indonesia 0,2%. menurut WHO (1999) diperkirakan akan terus meningkat antara tahun 1995-2025 sebesar 414 %. Tahun 2011 di Indonesia terdapat 15353 pasien menjalani hemodialisis dan tahun 2012 bertambah sebanyak 4268 orang (IRR, 2013). Penelitian ini bertujuan menyusun sebuah model statistik yang memprediksi kualitas hidup pasien ESDR dengan terapi hemodialisis berdasarkan variabel usia, lamanya menjalani terapi hemodialisis, IDWG dan jumlah penyakit komplikasi penyerta. Desain yang digunakan yaitu korelasi dengan pendekatan cross sectional, dengan teknik pengambilan sampel; purposive sampling, sebanyak 49 pasien. Analisis data dengan distribusi frekuensi (univariat), Pearson correlation (bivariat) dan regresi linier (multivariate) dengan taraf signifikan α 0,05. Hasil penelitian ada hubungan antara IDWG dengan kualitas hidup pasien yang menjalani terapi hemdoialisis dan didapatkan model fit antara usia, lamanya menjalani terapi hemodialisis, IDWG dan jumlah penyakit komplikasi penyerta dengan kualitas hidup pasien. Lebih mencermati IDWG yang merugikan, karena faktor yang paling dominan mempengaruhi kualitas hidup pasien.

Abstract

Progress in the fields of helath and technology as well as increasing welfare of course also have an impact on individual health. The healthier the individual, the greater the opportunity to increase his or her lufespan.Thus the number or erderly individuals also continues to increase.Erderly are individuals who are 60 years old or more.The elderly physioligical systems have experienced a decline.This condition certainly has the impact that elderly, so they have various diseases that are classified as degenerative diseases such as hypertension, diabetes mellitus, osteoarthritis and others. Most elderly are also unable to be economically productive. Elderly have not income and no adequate family support can live in nursing home. Nursing home is social or free of charge residence for elderly poors. Conditions of being economically disadvantaged, having physical illness, no family support, and have to live in a nursing home can trigger elderly to experience health problems such as depression. Depression in the elderly has the impact of psychosocial problems such as powerlesness, hopelessness, low self-esteem, and social isolation. The aim of this research is to analyze depression and psychosocial problems in elderly living in nursing homes. The research design descriptive analytic. The research sample was elderly living in nursing homes and sampling technique used was purposive sampling. The total sample was 86 elderly. Data collection used the Geritriac Depression Scale instrument and psychosocial response instruments. Descriptive data analysis. The research results showed that 87% of the 86 respondents experienced depression. In 75 elderly who were depressed, it was found that 97% (73 people) experienced psychosocial problems low self-esteem, 93% (70 people) of powerlesness, 99% (74 people) of hopelessness, and 77% (58 people) of social isolation. The suggestions given are strengthening care, especially related to the mental health of the elderly and the need for programmed activities that support the physical, psychological, socio-cultural and spiritual health of the elderly living in nursing homes.
