Abstract

The main problems in otoped rentals are congestion, road branches, and internet connectivity. This research aims to design and implement a simple rental tracking system for otoped at Darmo Surabaya Car Free Day, utilizing Arduino technology integrated with SMS, maps, GPS, and the SIM800L module. The system is developed to enhance the efficiency and security of otoped rentals by providing real-time tracking and location updates. The main components include an Arduino microcontroller, GPS module for location tracking, SIM800L module for SMS communication, and a map interface for visualization. The system sends location data via SMS, which can be accessed by users and administrators to monitor otoped positions and usage. The effectiveness of the system is evaluated based on its accuracy, reliability, and user satisfaction. The results indicate that the Arduino-based tracking system performs well in providing real-time updates and accurate location data, significantly improving the management of scooter rentals. This study concludes that the integration of Arduino, SMS, maps, GPS, and SIM800L is a viable solution for a simple and effective rental tracking system for electric scooters.

Abstract

The reduction in agricultural land due to being converted into housing and urban areas means that the amount of food production is decreasing. Based on the problems above, the author offers an innovation to overcome the problem of food security through "Smart Farming". This innovation can be implemented by the community using the concept of integrated agriculture with fisheries which is easy to apply on minimal land which has not been utilized properly. However, currently There is currently no system that can monitor the pH and PPM levels of water automatically and easily. This has an impact on the poor quality of hydroponic plant production so that it cannot be sold to consumers and causes losses for this business Internet of Things (IoT) and website, this smart farming innovation was developed as a system for monitoring the condition of pH and PPM levels of water in hydroponic planting media. The development of a website-based pH and PPM monitoring system offers an innovative approach in utilizing technology to overcome the challenges of monitoring water quality effectively. By utilizing the advantages of information technology and the internet, this system can become an important solution in supporting efforts to protect the environment and sustain water resources in the future.

Abstract

Tumor payudara merupakan benjolan dipayudara. Timbulnya benjolan pada payudara dapat merupakan indikasi adanya jenis tumor atau kanker payudara. Namun, untuk memastikan perlu dilakukan pemeriksaan patalogis. Tumor payudara adalah kondisi yang disebabkan oleh pertumbuhan sel yang tidak normal pada kelenjar, jaringan ikat, maupun saluran ASI di payudara. Tumor payudara dapat bersifat jinak ataupun Ganas ( Kanker). Penggunaan citra digital telah dimanfaatkan dalam berbagai bidang, termasuk dalam bidang medis. Salah satu contohnya adalah penggunaan citra digital untuk mendeteksi lokasi organ vital dalam tubuh manusia. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk menghasilkan bentuk potongan area Payudara dengan menerapkan metode segmentasi deep learning dan memvisualisasikan hasil-nya. Tahapan penelitian ini dilakukan dengan akuisisi citra USG, diikuti oleh proses image preprocessing untuk meningkatkan kualitas citra agar hasil proses segmentasi menjadi lebih baik, dilanjutkan dengan menerapan metode segmentasi. Penelitian ini berfokus pada penggunaan metode U-Net untuk segmentasi tumor payudara pada citra ultrasound ( USG ) dan memvisualisasikan-nya. Dengan menggunakan arsitektur U-Net dalam penelitian mendalam untuk segmentasi tumor payudara pada citra ultrasound ( USG ), penelitian ini diharapkan dapat memberikan visualisasi yang lebih presisi. Segmentasi tumor payudara pada citra ultrasound ( USG ) dapat digunakan sebagai referensi bagi dokter spesialis kesehatan dan professional lainnya untuk melakukan penelitian lebih lanjut. Dari hasil implementasi, dilakukan training terhadap dataset tumor payudara dan menghasilkan akurasi training sebesar 88.79%. Berdasarkan hasil yang didapatkan, metode U-Net dapat digunakan pada segmentasi tumor payudara pada citra ultrasound ( USG ).

Abstract

Peningkatan limbah plastik rumah tangga, khususnya botol sekali pakai, menjadi tantangan lingkungan yang signifikan di wilayah perdesaan Indonesia. Penelitian ini mengkaji pelaksanaan program Baksowapres (Bank Sampah Kanggo Warga Pesanggrahan) sebagai inisiatif pengelolaan sampah berbasis komunitas di RT 03 RW 06 Dusun Jatisari, Desa Pesanggrahan, Kabupaten Mojokerto. Metode yang digunakan adalah deskriptif kualitatif dengan teknik observasi partisipatif, wawancara semi-struktural, dan dokumentasi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa Baksowapres mampu mendorong perubahan perilaku warga dalam memilah sampah serta meningkatkan kesadaran lingkungan melalui sistem tabungan sampah botol plastik. Lebih dari 50 kepala keluarga terlibat aktif, dan program berhasil mengumpulkan lebih dari 80 kilogram sampah plastik. Selain berdampak terhadap pengurangan pencemaran lingkungan, program ini juga memperkuat interaksi sosial dan pemberdayaan ekonomi masyarakat. Sebagai model ekonomi sirkular skala mikro, Baksowapres memiliki potensi untuk direplikasi di wilayah lain guna mendukung tujuan pembangunan berkelanjutan dan target pengurangan sampah nasional.

Abstract

Hydroponic systems require precise control over nutrient levels and water flow to ensure optimal plant growth. Manual management is still widely used, which often leads to imprecise nutrient delivery, water wastage, and inefficiency. This study aims to develop an intelligent system based on the Internet of Things (IoT) and fuzzy logic to automatically regulate pH and TDS levels in a Nutrient Film Technique (NFT) hydroponic setup. The methodology includes the integration of pH, TDS, ultrasonic, and flow sensors with an ESP32 microcontroller and the Blynk application. Sensor data is processed using fuzzy logic to produce outputs in the form of liquid volume (liters) and pump activation duration (seconds). The system is designed to control pH UP/DOWN and fertilizer pumps are automatically based on the delta and error values of the measured parameters. Implementation results indicate that the system effectively maintains nutrient stability and reduces water and fertilizer wastage. Additionally, it enables real-time remote monitoring via a mobile application. Therefore, this intelligent system offers an efficient and adaptive solution for supporting sustainable hydroponic farming.

Abstract

This research focuses on the development of an Internet of Things (IoT)-based control system to support the maintenance of Anubias Nana plants in an aquascape environment. The system is designed to simplify aquascape care, which often faces challenges in maintaining plant health, particularly amid users’ busy routines and limited understanding of plant needs. This system integrates a pH sensor and a DS18B20 temperature sensor to monitor environmental conditions in real-time. Nutrient solution is dispensed using a peristaltic pump based on a predefined schedule managed by an RTC module, while additional peristaltic pumps are used to regulate the pH level. The aquarium heater and cooling fan are automatically controlled based on sensor data, while the LED lighting is scheduled using the RTC to maintain consistent illumination within the aquascape. The research began with the design of both hardware and software components to optimize environmental parameter settings. This system offers an innovative solution for aquascape users to maintain plant health over the long term while improving maintenance time efficiency. With the implementation of IoT technology, aquascape users can enjoy a more practical and efficient maintenance experience without losing control over their aquascape's environmental conditions. This research is also expected to serve as a reference for future developments in automated aquascape plant care systems.

Abstract

Pandemi mengakibatkan dampak yang luar biasa terhadap berbagai sektor kehidupan, sektor ekonomi pariwisata, perdagangan dan investasi, bahkan sektor keagamaan juga terdampak. Selama pandemi, kegiatan ibadah menjadi sangat terbatas seperti halnya kegiatan masyarakat yang lain. Hal ini menjadi kondisi yang dilematis, disatu sisi masyarakat ingin kegiatan ibadah kembali semarak, tapi disisi lain juga harus taat terhadap protokol kesehatan. Dalam rangka mengatasi permasalahan tersebut, pengabdi berinisiatif melakukan kegiatan pengabdian yang berfokus pada pembuatan alat pengukur suhu tubuh tanpa sentuh untuk jamaah masjid ini. Pendekatan yang dilakukan pada kegiatan ini adalah Participatory Action Research (PAR) dengan objek utama adalah jamaah Masjid At Thoharoh Desa Tumpang Kabupaten Malang. Diharapkan hal tersebut dapat menjadi solusi agar aktivitas ibadah tetap dijalankan serta mematuhi protokol kesehatan untuk mencegah penyebaran COVID-19. Adapun fungsional alat telah diuji dan dapat bekerja 100%, sedangkan hasil pengukuran suhu pada alat hanya selisih 0.32% dengan pengukuran suhu menggunakan thermogun. Artinya alat yang dibuat telah dapat bekerja sebagaimana mestinya dengan tingkat akurasi yang baik.

Abstract

This article is a community service journal as a form of activity report in the implementation of higher education tridharma activities. This service is the application of IOT in the placement and classification of fish quality. The circulation model and selection of quality fish are only given a place and a label so that it allows the misuse of fish by related parties, either repacking or selling actions that do not comply with company standards. In solving problems with the company, we provide service in the form of making prototypes of fish placement media and supervision in the form of direct monitoring to superiors through cloud control by obtaining information on recording the date of entry and exit of fish from the container and also the name of the person in charge of Quality control, so that it can be used to support quality fish and also to maintain the availability of these fish. In this system, informants are determined based on an implementation study, namely the company management. Analysis and mitigation of supply chain risk has an impact on sales and inventory, with the existence of this program it is hoped that it can assist companies in implementing product quality determination. Abstract

This article about community service activities discusses the transformation of the electromedical profession as a response to technological developments in the management of electromedical equipment with the aim of improving the quality of health services. This transformation includes changes in the roles, skills and responsibilities of electromedical professionals to adapt and optimize increasingly complex electromedical equipment. The results of this workshop show that the transformation of the electromedical profession has a positive impact on the management of electromedical equipment and the quality of health services. Electromedical professionals involved in this transformation experience increased competency and effectiveness in caring for, maintaining, and repairing electromedical equipment. Apart from that, the application of the latest technology also allows for more efficient monitoring and management of electromedical equipment. Abstract

Strengthening practical 21st century skills, such as creativity, logical thinking and problem solving, needs to be instilled from an early age to form a generation of learners who are adaptive to technological developments. This community service activity aims to introduce and implement robotics learning to grade 5 students at SDN Margorejo 1 Surabaya as part of an extracurricular program. The program was implemented for two months in the form of weekly workshops which included an introduction to basic robotics concepts, practice assembling line follower robots, as well as child-friendly, visual-based programming logic simulations. The implementation method uses an active-participatory approach through reflection, interactive discussions and direct practice in groups. Evaluation is carried out through qualitative observations and measuring students' enthusiasm and involvement in completing robotics challenges. The results of the activities showed a significant increase in students' interest in learning, logical thinking abilities, and creativity. Responses from teachers and parents also show that this activity is relevant and worthy of adoption as a form of innovative learning at the elementary school level. This program provides evidence that robotics learning can be an effective medium for fostering critical and collaborative thinking skills from an early age.
