Abstract

One of the applications needed in the business world, especially in terms of technology, is thisonline sales application. Where currently, society and businesses are influenced by technology.Moreover, when it comes to the Internet, many societies and even companies use Internetconnections for various purposes. One of them is that they can make purchases and sales online,known as e-commerce, which allows customers to make transactions anytime and anywhere. Intoday's internet era, selling shoes online has become a popular trend. However, the Kokoon StoreLamandau which sells various types of shoes does not yet have an application that can helpcustomers make purchases online. The purpose of this research is to help customers use the Internetas a tool to make purchases anytime and anywhere they want. A systematic approach modifiedinto the SDLC (System Development Life Cycle) model is used in the design and development ofthis online sales system. It is hoped that this application will help Kokoon stores increase sales andmarket their products.

Abstract

This study aims to design a Decision Support System (DSS) that implements the Profile Matchingmethod for the selection of honorary employees in the Lamandau District Government. The oftennon-systematic selection process results in less objective decisions, necessitating a system that canenhance effectiveness and transparency in decision-making. The Profile Matching method is usedto compare the profiles of candidates with predetermined criteria, leading to a fairer and moreaccurate selection process. Data were collected through interviews with relevant stakeholders inthe Lamandau District Government, which were then analyzed to identify appropriate selectioncriteria. The findings indicate that the application of DSS can reduce subjectivity and improveclarity in the evaluation process. Additionally, the designed computer-based system facilitatesfaster data processing and presents information in a more comprehensible manner. Thus, thisresearch is expected to make a significant contribution to the development of employee selectionsystems in local government and enhance the quality of human resources in public service. Theimplementation of information technology in DSS is anticipated to serve as a reference for futureresearch in decision-making and human resource management.

Abstract

Digitalization in the business world has become an urgent need to enhance efficiency andproductivity, particularly for grocery stores that still rely on manual methods for managingtransactions and inventory. Dependence on manual processes often leads to various issues, such asinaccurate record-keeping, difficulties in tracking inventory, and suboptimal customer service. Toaddress these challenges, this study develops a web-based cashier application designed to automatetransactions, inventory management, and sales reporting. The application is expected to facilitatestore owners in managing daily operations while improving data accuracy and customersatisfaction. The development of the application follows the Waterfall method, a structured andlinear software development approach. This method involves stages of requirements analysis,system design, implementation, testing, and maintenance. The outcome of this study is a webbasedcashier application capable of addressing the challenges faced by grocery stores, withfeatures that support operational efficiency and flexibility in monitoring business activities. Thisapplication also offers long-term benefits in enhancing the competitiveness of grocery stores in thedigital era.
