Abstract

The research aims to determine how the relationship between the role of leadership and work motivation on improving employee performance at PT. Cosmax Indonesia. The data employed in this study are both primary and secondary data, and it is a quantitative study. Primary data is done by distributing questionnaire statements to respondents with a sample of 53 employees, and secondary data through company profiles, books and journals that support the research. The analytical method used is non-parametric statistics using SPSS software. The hypothesis used to determine the relationship between variables is Spearman rank correlation analysis and t test.Based on the results of the study, it shows that there is a significant positive relationship between the role of leadership on improving employee performance as shown by the obtained t count (3.784) > t table (2.021), with a spearman rank correlation value of 0.468. There is a significant positive relationship between work motivation and employee performance as shown by the obtained t count (3.772) > t table (2.021), with a Spearman rank correlation value of 0.467.The author's suggestions regarding the role of leadership, leaders in companies need to improve their role in providing motivation, have a high participation spirit to help employees and be open to receiving ideas and input from employees. Regarding work motivation, companies need to improve again in providing work motivation to employees by providing training and career development to employees, giving awards for the work obtained by employees, and paying more attention to the work climate in the company. Regarding employees, it is good for employees in the company to be able to work together and help each other in doing work in order to achieve company goals.Keyword : Leadersship,Work

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to analyze the relationship of incentives to the performance of employees of PT. Arteri Cipta Rencana as well as to analyze the relationship of the work environment to the performance of employees of PT. Artery Creation Plan. The research period used is from March 2022 to June 2022. The type of data used in this study is quantitative research using descriptive data processing methods consisting of Validity Test, Reliability Test, and Spearman Rank Test. The population in this study was 70 people, while for the sample, 41 people were taken using probability sampling technique. The data used in the form of employee biodata of PT. Arteri Cipta Rencana and questions consisting of 15 questions from each variable with a total of 45 questions. The results showed that all questions representing the three variables were valid and reliable. For hypothesis testing, it can be concluded that by using the spearman rank correlation test, it shows that there is a significant relationship between incentives and performance and there is also a significant relationship between work environment and performance. The author's suggestion from this research is that the company can pay more attention to the needs of employees such as providing incentives that are in accordance with performance and pay attention to the conditions of the work environment in order to remain in good condition. Abstract

Students are academic people who have very important parts and functions in a higher education institution. The learning system is not only centered on hard skills but also soft skills. This is so that students have sufficient provisions to be able to win job competition and have bright professions. Academic achievement is a term to show an achievement or level of success related to a goal as a result of learning efforts that have been carried out by someone optimally. Achievement of student academic achievement can be influenced by internal and external aspects of each individual. To achieve maximum learning goals, one of the most influential aspects is the motivation to learn and also the learning environment. The following research aims to see how the influence of learning motivation and learning environment on academic achievement. The following research uses quantitative methods. The place where this research was carried out was at the Indonesian Christian University. In this study, data collection used questionnaires which were distributed to narasumberts. The sample in this study was 20 students from the Faculty of Economics and Business batch 2018 and 2019. The data analysis technique used in this study was multiple linear regression analysis, partial statistical test (t test), and F test. The results of the following research are (1) Learning motivation has a positive effect on student academic achievement (GPA), (2) The learning environment has a positive effect on academic achievement (GPA), (3) Simultaneously learning motivation and learning environment have an influence on academic achievement (GPA). Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of motivation on the perfomance of drivers in the UFO Community of Tebet Jakarta, to determine the effect of incentives on the perfomance of drivers in the UFO Community of Tebet Jakarta. The tipe of research used in quantitative research. This quantitative research method aims to determine the effect between the independet variable and the dependet variable. The pupulation of this study are all members of the UFO Community of Tebet Jakarta, totaling 38 drivers. The sample taken is the entire population, namely 38 drivers. The result showed that based on the partial test result, the effect of motivation on driver performance was obtained tcount (3.251) > ttable (2.028), with a significant level of 0.001 < 0.05. The value of 3.251 is greater than 2.028, indicating that tcount is greater than ttable. From these results it can be concluded that Ha is accepted (Hois rejected). This shows that there is a significant influence between motivation and driver performance. Based on the partial test results, the effect of incentives on driver performance is obtained tcount (4.656) > ttable (2.028) with a significant level of 0.000 < 0.05. The value of 4.656 is greater than 2.028, indicating that tcount is greater than ttable. From these results it can be concluded that Ha is accepted (Ho is rejected). This shows that there is a significant influence between incentives on driver performance. Keywords: Motivation, Incentives and Performance
