Abstract

Transformative leadership is one of the effective leadership styles in improving employee performance. Pengayoman Hospital Cipinang East Jakarta as one of the private hospitals in East Jakarta, needs effective leadership to improve the performance of its employees. This study aims to analyze the relationship between transformative leadership and employee performance at Pengayoman Cipinang Hospital, East Jakarta. Methods: This study uses a survey method using a questionnaire as a data collection instrument. The research sample consisted of 40 respondents from Cipinang Pengayoman Hospital, East Jakarta, which were randomly selected. The results of the study show that this correlation shows a strong positive relationship between the two variables with a significance value (Sig. 2-tailed) of 0.000, where an increase in Transformational Leadership tends to be followed by an increase in Performance. Conclusion: This study concludes that transformative leadership has a positive and significant relationship with employee performance at Pengayoman Hospital Cipinang East Jakarta. Therefore, it is recommended that the leadership of the East Jakarta Cipinang Nursing Hospital improve its transformative leadership skills to improve the performance of its employees. Abstract

Masalah kesehatan yang terjadi pada usia remaja bervariasi bahkan masalah yang timbul bisa didapatkan dari dampak perilaku seksual berisiko. Mengatasi masalah kesehatan remaja tersebut perlu adanya pengembangan potensi yang tersedia dalam diri remaja salah satunya yaitu kecerdasan emosional. Tujuan: mengetahui hubungan antara Emotional Quotient (EQ) dengan perilaku seksual berisiko pada remaja. Metode: Penelitian ini menggunakan desain kuantitatif dengan cross sectional. Teknik pengambilan sampel menggunakan Purposive Sampling pada satu SMA di Jakarta Pusat dengan jumlah responden 156 pada bulan Mei 2025. Instrumen pengumpulan data menggunakan kuesioner Wong and Lewis Emotional Intelligence Scale (WLEIS), Indeks Derajat Perilaku Seksual Remaja dan data demografi. Hasil penelitian: Mayoritas responden remaja putri (51,9%), usia 14-17 tahun (66%), duduk di bangku kelas XII (49,4%), pendidikan terakhir ayah lulusan SMA (55,8%) dan pendidikan terakhir ibu lulusan SMA (60,3%). Terdapat hubungan antara Emotional Quotient dengan perilaku seksual beresiko pada remaja (P-value=0,0001). Prevalence Risk didapatkan 18,59 (95%CI 9,01 – 49,13). Kesimpulan: Perawat berperan penting dalam memberikan pendampingan pada remaja untuk mengembangkan kemampuan emosional melalui media edukasi sebagai evidence based dengan pendekatan emosional untuk meningkatkan kesadaran dan keyakinan diri remaja dalam mencegah perilaku seksual berisiko.

Abstract

Hospitalized children have a tendency to experience extreme stress by showing several symptoms, such as: anger, ructions, smack, crying, avoids eating, and many more. The most appropriate attempt of stress is by playing. The research aims to identify the factors related which influence the performance of playing as therapy according to the implementation in children’s room at RS Husada. The methodology research is using analysis descriptive that approached by cross-sectional based on 30 pediatric nurses as total sample of research. The results of this research showed that there’s the relation between nurse’s age (p value: 0,002), education (p value: 0,002), training (p value:0,005), work experience (p value: 0,002), knowledge (p value: 0,005), playground facility (p value: 0,008) and hospital’s policy (p value: 0,007) toward the implementation of playing as therapy in children’s room at RS Husada. It is highly recommended for this research to be developed as foundation of playing therapy being one of compulsory implemented programs in giving nurture hospitality towards the children.

Abstract

Nursing service which is one of the duties and responsibilities of nurses is to provide nursing care. The purpose of this study was to analyze the effect of work motivation training on the performance of nurses and to analyze the effect of individual characteristics on the performance of nurses at Husada Hospital, Jakarta. Quasi Experimental research design with Pre-Post Test Group Design. Respondents in the intervention group were 27 respondents who were selected by purposive sampling technique. Respondents in the control group were 27 people. Respondents in the intervention group were given motivation training as well as supervision and observation for 4 weeks. Collecting data using questionnaires and work performance appraisal observation sheets then analyzed bivariate with paired sample t-test and multivariate test with ancova test. The results showed that there is an influence among performance with motivation training and counfonding variables, the result is Corrected Model 0.000. Meanwhile, partially, the work duration is 0.000 and motivation training is 0.009. Motivation training and length of work affect work performance as much as 46.6%. Researchers recommend motivational training in improving work performance in providing nursing care.

Abstract

Introduction: Nurses are one of the health workers who are always in contact with Covid-19 patients, of course, they have a high enough risk of infection to be exposed to Covid-19. Objective: This study aimed to identify the relationship between stress and the quality of sleep of Covid-19 nurses in the Husada Hospital Jakarta treatment room. Methods: Quantitative research design with Cross-Sectional design, the number of samples in the study of 75 nurses working in the Covid-19 treatment room of Husada Hospital Jakarta, using the Depression Anxiety Stress Scale-21 research questionnaire and the Pittsburgh Sleep Quality Index (PSQI). Data analysis using Descriptive Statistics Crosstabs with the Chi-Square Test. Result: From the results of the study, it was found that the age distribution of the respondents was the most, namely nurses with < age of 35 years as many as 35 people (46.7%), the most gender, namely women, 71 (94.7%) nurses, the most working time of respondents was > 10 years, namely 41 people (54.7%). The most stress variables were mild stress 36 people (48%), normal 30 people (40%), and moderate 9 people (12%), based on sleep quality variables category no disturbance 71 people (94.7%), severe disorder 4 people (5.3%). The result of Correction Pearson Chi-Square was gotten a p-value of 0.000 (p<? 0.05). Conclusion: Stress in Covid-19 nurses is closely related to the quality of nurses' sleep. The lighter the stress experienced by the nurse, the better the quality of sleep. But the heavier the stress experienced by the nurses, the quality of sleep will be disturbed. Thus, it can be concluded that there is a relationship between stress and the quality of nurses’ sleep.
